I took pics and sent pics via email to Steve, he wrote me back and said he would pay for it. After three weeks I sent another email, where's the check...Steve said he would look into it. I have reached out two more times and haven't heard back. I didn't want to write a negative review, but Steve is now avoiding me. Please don't use this company. I understand things break, things happen, but I expect them to do the right thing. Do not use this company.

Let's be fair, let's look at the bottom line first, they did moved my four bedroom furnishings from…read moreFairfield to Trabuco Canyon, CA. For that, I should give Steve the owner 5 stars. Also, Jameel Le Grand, the lead mover and driver, his effort alone deserved 5 stars, and he was the one made the move a success and tried to keep me updated. Also his helpers, especially Antonio Holloway, did just great. They were all friendly and professional and respectful throughout. Which led me to believe that one of the review comments somewhere mentioned that the moving crew was like a bunch of criminals (or something like that) has nothing to do with her moving. Don't judge a book by the cover. But sorry Steve, I have to take way one or two stars from the review due to your total lack of communication and left me hanging without knowing what to do. It was a big move and I had things planned and organized, not updating me or return calls was no excuse for a moving boss. This was the third move I used the company. The first two were simple and close range. But if you have a long move, you better get Steve to change his MO, but again, he did the job.

Having hired movers 4 times in my life I can honestly say that Hebrew Muscle Transport is the most…read moreunprofessional of them all. I was severely disappointed as I specifically choose this company as I wanted to support a Black owned business. They were late, did not possess a moving truck but instead towed a trailer (which resulted in our mattresses being exposed to the elements on top of the vehicle towing the trailer), they came across as lazy as they wanted our help, they lost a screw to my bed, and our desks, bed frames and dressers had knicks in them when it was all said and done. They simple did not handle our belongings with care and it showed. Did I mention that they stopped moving me to do another job and then returned later? The communication regarding payment was lacking and when I addressed it the owner decided it was a great idea to get into a yelling match with me over a few dollars. He was completely wrong but I paid it quickly out of the fear of retaliation. One of the movers also smoked marijuana on the job and ventured in to inappropriate conversation that bordered on sexual harassment and at a different point I was asked to take one of the movers to get food. Please, if you care about your sanity and your belongings, use any service but theirs. It has been my biggest regret as of late.

Both of them are professional, prompt, quick, and most importantly careful with the entire moving process. I really loved working with them. There was a point where I thought they could not get all the boxes and stuff in the truck -- I was worried, really worried. They told me not to worry and they would make it happen, they had it under control. I came back 20 minutes later and they had tetris game and rejiggered the entire truck to make it work. Everything including my art, bike, furniture, and furniture art pieces arrived exactly where I wanted them to be with grace in every turn and move when off loading the truck. I was quite blown away, moving is emotional and they made it as smooth as possible.
