I told my adult son and friends about the deal with no issues . I was even able to ask some of them if they could put some of my little stuff in their unit to save me the trouble of digging it out in back of my big items. My X and neighbor was insulted at the treatment today. The day before he was told he had to buy their lock and had to use their insurance. So he drove home. I appeared and they changed their story to yes he can supply his own lock ( I was leaving and planning on giving him my lock because they are absolutely useless locks anywhere else.) Also that he could provide declaration of his home owners insurance . They basically sending us in huge wasted time and circle. The last straw was today they Lied!!! Said he was in their system as living with me ?! That he could not rent with promotional??? They kept copy of his picture ID which is the only thing they could have in system because he has never done business with them. I was so embarrassed I paid for him to get a unit at Storequest storage where I have two huge units for my business. Plus I heard here twice in 4 months of break ins and thefts . Many believing it's an inside job. I've used Storquest for many years and National. We will stick with other storage units that have less customers on drugs which might be due to location.

The staff on the other hand did and was super nice and understanding about the situation. From my understanding they rent to the homeless. They're able to walk around the place freely. They were sleeping in a unit for days while they were cutting down the walls to 7 + units . I do not recommend renting here if you have high value things. They're expensive for the amount of security they do not have. The cameras are cheap and the units are mostly made of plywood inside. Not secure .

Fortunately, Sierra from corporate reached out after I raised concerns. They were very kind, professional, and apologetic, and helped us mediate the issue. That effort and understanding meant a lot and helped turn the situation around. I hope the company can kind John a different role that does not require him to interact with customers.

Upon my return, I had the opportunity to watch as Alycia navigated the clients' concerns about their billing. In short, she possesses the necessary skillset to advance well into management! Furthermore, there are NO cameras in the halls of the non-climate controlled area, making it extremely easy for thieves to conceal their actions. In the case of the burglary to my unit, Management and Police have been unhelpful so far. Avoid all of the time and money spent getting your stuff back and rent elsewhere, at least at a place with cameras inside the facility.

So in other words, they are charging for a period of 23 days of this month without providing any services. That is theft and it's disgusting. It's my money for 23 days in exchange for nothing. But of course, her hands are tied and she can't do anything about it, because it's an on-purpose, calculated, anti-consumer policy. A remedy would be as follows: 1) refund the money stolen from me for these 23 days, 2) change the policy for all Trojan Storage users so that you no longer charge for services that aren't even rendered (in other words, you need to pro-rate on the way out), and 3) issue a public apology for this embarrassingly grotesque, greedy behavior.
