My husband and I came back for a second visit to give this place another try. The restaurant has a simple setup with a casual Japanese-inspired decor. We stopped by during a late lunch, so it wasn't too crowded, making for a relaxed dining experience. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout our visit. I ordered the Black Garlic Ramen. As someone who has been enjoying ramen for many years, I found the broth somewhat underwhelming. It lacked the rich depth and complexity typically achieved through a long-simmered broth, resulting in a lighter flavor than I expected. The noodles also weren't the type of ramen noodles I'm accustomed to finding at more authentic ramen shops. That said, the portion was generous, with plenty of protein in the bowl. My husband ordered the Chashu Bowl, which he thoroughly enjoyed. The bowl was generously topped with tender meat, and the portion was more than satisfying. While this may not be the most authentic Japanese restaurant in my opinion, it is a good option for those looking for hearty portions and friendly service.
First meal at Rockin' Ramen and it was amazing! Service was incredible and the food was just as great. The staff made us feel even more special as a newlywed couple by introducing us to the incredible mango cheesecake. Rockin' Ramen was the best choice to have our first meal to have as husband and wife.
Stopped by for lunch with some coworkers on a weekday and had a really good experience overall. Ramen spots in Temecula are pretty few and far between so it's great to have a place like this around when the craving hits. Since we came on a weekday it was pretty quiet which made the whole thing really relaxed and easy. We got seated right away and the staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. There is also a cool glass window by the kitchen where you can peek in and watch them making the ramen which was cool. We decided to go with the lunch special and it was such a great deal. I ordered the 2 item combo with miso ramen, potato croquette and panko shrimp and it came out to only $14. The sides were definitely the highlight of the meal, both were cooked really well and full of flavor. The ramen was enjoyable though it did not completely blow me away. But honestly for that price it is really hard to find anything to complain about. All in all a great little lunch spot with good food, fair prices and a welcoming atmosphere. If you are in the area and want a satisfying ramen meal without breaking the bank, this place is worth checking out!
First time trying this place out today. Great customer service, and not too long of a wait on a Saturday. There isn't much seating inside so I can imagine there being a long wait on a weekend night. The bathroom was nice and clean which is a plus. We ordered two different ramens and both were so delicious! My favorite was the beef ramen, I got it with vegetable broth & it was so creamy and flavorful. Highly recommend. I can't wait to come back again.
This ramen spot was so delicious! And the staff was very kind and accommodating as well. I got the miso ramen and my bf got the Chicken Katsu. So good, I wanna go back and try other ramen flavors
This place is tucked away in a shopping strip. Inside and outside was super clean and modern looking. The service was fast and friendly. Unfortunately we had something come up so we had to leave after appetizers arrived. Thankfully the waitress bagged the rest of our order to go and we ate the rest of the ramen later that night. Overall it was still delicious hours later. And the price was pretty reasonable. Loved the takoyaki although they were a little smaller than I have had before, but still very tasty.
First time trying this ramen spot. Was honestly not a fan of the flavor of the broth. However, they have multiple different flavors so maybe I just need to try a different one. The service was very friendly and fast. I also like that they have a dog-friendly patio so we were able to bring our pup with us. The heaters outside also kept us nice and warm out there.
Had lunch at Rockin Ramen and ordered the spicy rockin ramen, sweet chili chicken karaage, and a garden salad. The ramen had a good level of spice with a broth that was full of flavor. Noodles were chewy and held up well. The chicken karaage was crispy with just the right amount of sweet chili glaze, easily the standout. The garden salad was fresh and a nice lighter side. Service was fast and friendly, making it a solid spot for lunch.
We had a fantastic lunch here. We chose the 3 item lunch special and it did not disappoint. Miso ramen with panko shrimp, fish katsu, and chicken kaarage AND Spicy Ramen with panko shrimp, egg rolls and chili chicken kaarage. Both were delicious and came with a side of rice. Food was fresh and tasty, a great value! The panko shrimp were my favorite. The restaurant is quaint and clean. The servers were attentive and so pleasant. Excellent staff here. I would definitely come here again when out in Temecula area.
Ramen was not the best in the area. I tried the Spicy Beef Ramen and although the beef was actually surprisingly tasty and tender, the broth was not the best. On the bright side, this spot is located in a plaza with lots of parking and even has a dog friendly patio. Service was very friendly and food was served super fast.
Great food! First time to an authentic ramen spot. Plenty of parking out front with inside and outside seating. They do have a bathroom too. Tables and location were very clean. When we walked in just before 12pm on MLK there was only one employee, she didn't acknowledge us when we came in so we took our own seats. Another older woman came in to work around 12. Both were nice taking our order and serving. Place filled up quickly by 12:15pm. We ordered the miso ramen, kids ramen, and chicken with rice. All were delicious and good portions! We also had the strawberry/banana and the plain banana boba smoothies. These were sooooo good! Our waitress also brought us the fried octopus and tako yaki. We thought it was free or included since it was our first time. These were also delicious! Unfortunately when it was time to pay we found out they gave us the $20 worth of appetizers by accident and asked if we would pay for them. I agreed, but lost -1 star for the mistake and then having us pay. Overall a great ramen spot with tons of options. The boba smoothies are excellent and food was well priced for the portions. Just wish the waitresses were a little more attentive when we walked in and what table they were taking food to.
My son and his gf came to visit and took us to dinner at Rockin Ramen. First time having ramen at a real ramen shop. Parking was plentiful. There's outside seating w heaters. The inside has a lot of seating but got crowded during dinner time. Service was great, they constantly refilled our drinks. We ordered spam musubi, sweet chili chicken, chicken ramen, meat lovers ramen, and spicy beef ramen (w substitute miso broth, yes for me because apparently most of their soups use pork broth). Each ramen serving was huge and could have been shared between 2 people. The noodles were good, the beef was tender and I love the subtle miso broth. The sweet chili chicken was delish w a hint of spice (honestly could have been spicier). We finished our meals w taro boba smoothies and Thai tea boba smoothies. Overall a really great ramen spot!! It's such a nice feeling when your child takes you out to dinner and handles the entire bill!!

5 stars x2 ... this establishment and service was top notch from beginning to end. We were seated pretty much immediately and the servers were kind, patient and helpful with suggestions. Everyone enjoyed their food, appetizers and dinner! Their ramen was 100x better than Silverlake and I'm kicking myself for not trying this place out sooner. We can't wait to return and try new things, our two youngest (5 & 10) are already begging for another family dinner date. They do offer military discount which we super appreciate AND they were up front about adding 20% gratuity to our bill at the end of the meal which I was shocked and pleasantly surprised as usually other restaurants don't bother to even mention it at all. Always good ramen and great service! Another visit, another satisfied taste buds. Today was perfect time to go back to Jake's for some good ol' ramen soup. It was rainy and cold day which called for some warm food. We ordered spicy tan tan ramen and spicy scallions ramen (added spicy ground pork meat to scallion ramen). Both broths were well balanced and spiced as always. Tea stained egg, green onion, steamed cabbage, seaweed and sweet corn paired well with the soup. To fished all off we ordered tempura green tea cheesecake. The dessert was tasty. The only downside was that the tempura coating tasted like deep fried egg rolls or tempura vegetables. We didn't ask, but hopefully they offer this tasty green tea cheesecake without tempura. read more

Meat lovers Ramen is delicious !!!! Black Garlic Ramen also incredible. Fast service , friendly staff. Gyoza was good and so was the tempura calamari. Definitely coming back soon. read more
If i could, i would give this place like a 3.6/3.7 Everyone's been hyping this place up to me and i decided to stop there yesterday as we were running some errands in Temecula. I've had a couple people tell me this place is good and to be honest it was very mid. If you've had good ramen before, you definitely won't be impressed by anything here. But for Temecula it's pretty decent and helps get the craving you get. The takoyaki was honestly the worst part of the meanl. Tasted like frozen balls that they just reheat up. Too much sauce on them and they were missing the bonito flakes which honestly isn't that expensive to add to make it feel more "authentic" definitely a -1/5 for me. The miso ramen was very basic and tasted like a plain miso ramen. But i will say the black garlic ramen was actually worth the hype. Both broths were very salty but the black garlic one actually was balanced out with the garlic. I would come back for this item. The service was great so i can see why it has such nice reviews but the food was just not my cup of tea. read more

Haven't had much luck in the ramen department around the area, but had read the great reviews on this place and decided to give it a try. I ordered the Spicy Beef ramen and the hubs got the Volcano ramen. Both looked pretty delicious on the pix - and we decided to add some karaage and octopus legs. We got it to go because, well, kids. The packaging itself was great. Soup was in a separate container and noodles with all the goodies were in a very sturdy sealable plastic bowl. Appetizers we probably should have nixed since fried food tends to not transfer well. Appetizers: The karaage looked very similar to Chik Fila nuggets. They weren't bad, but even with the sauce were just...okay. Next time I'll just order Chik Fila nuggets lol. Way cheaper. The octopus legs were unfortunately over battered and not thoroughly cooked through. Both of the appetizer portions were decent, but both fell a little short on actually being appetizing. Ramen: Spicy Beef: One of the first times I didn't finish my ramen. Overall wasn't bad. It was tasty, but the broth almost felt watered down or "healthy". Can't quite put my finger on it, but it definitely wasn't the full bodied ramen broth that I'm used to. The beef was tasty, tender and I enjoyed it. The portion wasn't bad for a regular size, but again the whole dish was easily forgettable. Volcano: The spicy beef broth was actually way better than this one. Again, it tasted as if the full body of the broth was missing or strained out? Wasn't bad, but wasn't great. At $14 a pop I was expecting something a little tastier. Compared to Soho Ramen, we actually enjoyed Soho more - but that's not saying much. It's comparing average ramen. Guess we'll have to keep searching or only save ramen for other areas. read more

The absolute best food available! Their lunch special is a great deal and you can substitute a different ramen, if you do not like the 2 offered. I had the Curry Ramen with sweet chili chicken karaage and the panko shrimp. It also came with a bowl of rice which was perfect for me because U love to add it to my ramen. Everything was delicious! The service was over the top making us feel like we were special. Also, their restrooms are beautifully decorated and spotless. They smelled clean too which is important to me. We will definitely be bringing friends and family here, as this is now our favorite place to eat! Do yourselves a favor and visit this place next time you are in the area. From time to time when my parents are in town, we visit Rockin' Ramen. They have patio seating as well as inside dining seating. They've got a variety of appetizers, rice bowls, ramen and boba-type smoothies. During a visit with my mom, we ordered their sweet potato fries, takoyaki, beef rice bowl, and shio ramen. The sweet potato fries were made perfectly crisp with a side of ketchup and sweet chili sauce. I absolutely love takoyaki and had to order it. It was fried where it wasn't oily and topped with their sauces that went well with it. My mom ordered their beef rice bowl which was like a beef teriyaki thinly sliced over a large bed of rice in a bowl. For my lunch, I picked their shio ramen. The shio ramen has chashu, steamed bean sprouts, seaweed, green onion, seasoned egg and sweet corn. Everything blended well together and the broth was hot and flavored with a nice umami. Service is always very quick and friendly while restaurant is always well taken care of and clean. read more
Always a great place to go and great fast service. The Ramen is Great and this is the time for soup. This is a perfect time and weather for Ramen. The restaurant has a good atmosphere. The only thing I wish is when I am sitting at the bar, I wish I could actually see the cooks instead of staring at frosted glass. I think that is the only thing wrong with the place. Ramen is always good here. The weather is getting cold. Ramen place is a must-go place in the cold season. The service was good. We waited about 10 min. and served right away. Food came out within 10 min. Lots of meat. The broth has good flavor. The noodle is tender. Chicken kara-age disappeared in 5 min. With a good amount of salt and base, the chicken was juicy and crispy. We will be back soon. read more

I was really surprised by the overall 4-star rating when it comes to the Ramen itself. I will say aside from the food everything else was positive during my dining experience. I'll elaborate. Service was no issue. The waitress was quick to get me seated and understood I was there for a quick lunch so she hustled appropriately to get me in and out of there. The restaurant was clean and tables were spaciously spread during covid times. I had no issue finding the place and there is plenty of parking. I was SUPER excited when I saw that they had Tan Tan Men Ramen here as it's one of the rarer ramens to find, at least where I live. The menu description was described how I know the flavors to be so I put in my order. If you can see the picture attached with my review and are familiar with Tan Tan Men, you'll notice it looks a little "off". Visually, it didn't have the creamy and dense texture because of the cream or milk that some do. Also little bits of corn where in the ramen which wasn't noted anywhere on the ingredients description. I went in for a bite and was majorly disappointed based on flavor. Super super bland and didn't taste authentic at all. I tried to eat it but was quickly over the taste, super lacking. I would say the restaurant has potential given that the service was fine and they have a pretty large menu so I'd imagine you could find something to your taste. I just worry if they got the dish I ordered so wrong flavor wise I don't anticipate to come back as there are so many great Ramen options both north and south of here. read more

Place is clean and nice small but very nice. We ordered shrimp tempura so good. Spam musbi is amazing and for the Ramen tofu Ramen and black garlic Ramen. It wasn't that great but it was ok. The staff was friendly and fast. I'd go there again to try something different maybe I didn't find the right Ramen lol. read more

Loved that this place has shoyu and miso broth ramen!! They will also swap out the broth if you like the toppings but not the broth. That is a major plus for me. Everything was fresh and delicious. It's a small place but really welcoming. The staff is very attentive and pleasant. read more

We are so glad to have happened upon the best ramen place! Absolutely delicious ramen, perfectly flavored broth and the noodles have just the right consistency. Jomari also provided top notch service, super friendly and personable, attentive and gave us great recos as well. The Panko Shrimp is something that would fit right in with a Michelin star restaurant, it is crisped to perfection. The ambience is casual, cute and cozy with a nice covered outdoor patio that is pet-friendly. We'll be back! read more

Came to this spot for lunch today and from the very start to the very end we were happy with the service, location, food- everything. I had the spicy beef ramen and my husband ordered the Sapporo ramen both were not too spicy- just right. We also ordered the panko shrimp for our appetizer, they serve it with a sweet and sour mayo which was delish! We left with some taro boba slushes and those were also very good.
