I ordered delivery from here. Loved their grandma's pie. It was well cooked, with a crunchy, buttery crust, hearty sauce, and fresh basil. I also got their pasta with vodka sauce. They let you choose the style of pasta you want and I went with spaghetti. The portion size was huge. The noodles were a bit soft and overcooked, but the sauce was tasty. Their mozzarella sticks were okay, but kind of tasted like frozen ones from a box. They threw in complimentary garlic knots. This was a nice touch, but they were a bit dry. We oftentimes visit this spot after drinking and socializing at Cocktail across the street and the white slice always hits! I can't believe I haven't written a review yet. I teach near Rocco's and oftentimes purchased pizza from them. I'm moving to a new school and won't be in the area any longer. They were always so kind and generous. As for the pizza, the best in the area, and the best I've eaten, and the high school students loved it. It was fresh, the sauce is delicious, it has great flavor, came piping hot, and the slices were very big. We loved eating Rocco's pizza. We've also tried their wings and a couple of times I ordered sandwiches and they cut them up to my specifications so the kids could share. The customer service was the absolute best - I was so annoying with the delivery timeframes because it had to come during specific times and they always accommodated. A couple of times they allowed me to defer payment for a few days. I took a chance to ask and they sent the pizza for the kids without immediate payment. Ordered several times after hearing such great things about this establishment. Both times the pizza, and garlic bread was burnt. I shared my experience and was told it's ALWAYS FRESH! Gave it another shot, to only observe when I placed my order the person behind me received theirs first and once again, my slice was over cooked, pure negligence. I normally stumble in here slightly tipsy from my favorite bar directly across the street in order to not end up completely trashed by the end of the day/night. The pizza is good and reasonably priced. This isn't a dollar slice spot and the quality of the ingredients is indicative of that. I typically get a couple of the multi topping specialty slices and I've never had a subpar slice. The garlic knots are a decent snack and I hear good things about the calzones, and though I think I may have tried one once I can't recall it as it was probably a more than tipsy stop-in. Bonus points, it's nice to come in here on a cold night as the oven keeps this place nice and cozy. read more

Been fans of Rocco III for years, they are our go-to pizza. Sadly no more. I ordered a pie and some sides two and a half hours ago and the order is officially over an hour late from the scheduled delivery time. I called them to get an idea of when it's coming and I just get "soon, soon like five minutes" Booooolsheet. It never came. I ordered an alfredo pasta for delivery. The delivery came in a reasonable time (I ordered somewhat far from the location). It came with bread and the portion of pasta was satisfying. The delivery time might have affected the taste. I felt that the flavor of the sauce and chicken was somewhat lacking. The sauce was too liquidy and was not creamy enough. The chicken had very little flavor. The texture of the pasta was fine. I am looking forward to trying the pizza after reading the other reviews. read more

He received his slices in literally two minutes. I called them on their blatant pandering to the white man and they had no excuse or rationale for why I was still waiting and this Caucasian individual received white glove treatment. Second time I order from this restaurant. I ordered both times a white pizza pie and a Greek salad. The 1st time, both were really good. The second time, however, was the opposite. The pizza was good but the salad was as old as it can get, I could not even eat it. I don't understand how they serve something like that, it's kind of disrespectful not only to me as their customer but to their image, it makes them look really bad. **Delivery order review only** I ordered a large pizza with jalapeños and one side of ranch through Yelp for $32 (including tax, fees, and tip). I was surprised by the size of the pizza, which will definitely take me a minute to finish by myself. A single slice is enough for a meal for small eaters (or if you've been adult enough to make some kind of veggie side dish). Delivery went seamlessly, no pun intended, and the pizza is perfectly tasty. I was pleasantly surprised that the jalapeños had some crunch and hadn't been pickled into soggy oblivion. Yum!! Ordered delivery from here while staying in Bed Stuy and it did not disappoint! We got a grandma pie with half pepperoni and half meatball. They messed up the order and gave us one half with pepp and sausage - we forgave them ;). The meatball was actually not my favorite, even though I was the one who suggested it. I think they would be better on the side. The crust was perfectly cooked and sauce was perfectly sweet/salty. The size was great! You can easily get four meals out of one pie. We also ordered a side of wings which were seriously incredible. I'm not one to love wings, I always prefer boneless and never initiate ordering them. I was really pleasantly surprised. They weren't coated in any sauce which was even better! Deep fried perfection. My only negative feedback was that the delivery took almost 30 min more than anticipated! I have been to this establishment two times for some pizza. Which is always a good sign. This is classic pizza, not much to speak to here. Big slice, great flavor and a firm crust= I'm satisfied. I went for a cheese and a pepperoni slice with a bottle of Coca cola. I am unsure how they are able to heat it up to that perfect amount of heat where you bite into it and your tongue isn't burned. It's just the right amount of heat. But either way I appreciate it. The decor is simple. About 3 tables and 6 chairs that can comfortably fit 2( 3 if you are small) and a mini TV for watching sports. They have an ATM but they also take credit/debit ( I forgot the card limit) All in all. The slices are good, big and the speed is just right. Better yet, when they deliver food that simply isn't what it's called on the menu you won't get a full refund! Pretty sure this was the worst pizza I've had since moving to New York 3 years ago. I got the veggie pizza and it was COVERED in frozen spinach so it tasted gross and it was soggy.
