This pizza is absolutely fantastic. Buttery crust, flavorful...just hot and delicious. I'm a pizza purist so I ordered the traditional cheese slice. I'll definitely be back. Also, THANK YOU Rocco Pizza for enforcing the wearing of masks in the store. I definitely appreciate your doing your part to keep everyone safe. read more

Ordered a mini pizza, Buffalo wings, fries, and a Philly cheesesteak for delivery. The order came on time. The pizza was very hard to chew because the dough was so hard. Couldn't even eat the crust. Instead of buffalo wings, I got regular wings--which was really salty-- with no buffalo sauce and no blue cheese (I even made a note on the order to include blue cheese). The fries were the only order that satisfied me. The Philly cheesesteak had NO taste and the bread was hard. Do not order from here unless you want to eat hard bread and want high blood pressure. read more

The second time I ordered from them, the food was even better, I got Alfredo Fettuccine... shit was bomb af. They also put tin foil over the food before they put the lid on so my meal was plastic free this time! Def my favorite place to order for pasta now read more

This place is solid! There are a lot of cheap places around here and this is by far the best pizza I've found in bedstuy. I usually grab a regular slice on my way home but the grandma and white look really good too. Can't beat the quality for the price. read more

The pizza is great! It's a shame people bring down the rating because of delivery time. If you don't want to wait for a delivery than go pick it up yourself! We've had pizza and meatball sammies from here and everything is delicious. It's our go to spot in the neighborhood. read more

Now I am not Italian but frankly I wish I had a little Italian in me even though every one seems to think i'm Italian (seriously they do when I was in Milan I got yelled at bc I didn't speak Italian even though I explained to them I was from the other side of the Mediterranean the cute little old but vocal couple just SMH'd me repeatedly!!) So it goes with out saying I love Italian food all forms of it in any way I can get it.... Now when I first moved to BK I was a block away from Rocco's on Dekalb and let's just say I got super lucky as the fact that the one place open late in that hood actually had great food.... Now Rocco's III is open on Halsey and it is still impressing and only seems to get better... The Pizza is bangin... The chicken rolls are bangin... The Spinach Rolls are bangin... The garlic knots are you guessed it bangin... Now I may not be using culinary vocab but frankly my dear I just don't give a damn... bc bottom line is the food here is just plain old fashioned BANGIN! Did I mention they make chicken parm, eggplant parm, and all kinds of heros as well... you bet your pulpetta they do ( for those that don't know pulpetta is meatball in Italian! look you even get to be edumacated as well)... And to top off the 100 plus reasons why everybody should make Rocco's III their go to pizza spot, the owner Tommy and all the workers there are just straight up friendly and know how to run a biz.... quality at its best... now that's amore.... read more

This will be my first yelp review and I hate it has to be a negative. I ordered penne with vodka sauce, garlic knots, zeppoles at 7pm. It has been over an hour and 45 mins and my food has not arrived. Sadly as much as I was looking forward to trying Roccos I doubt I will enjoy it now. I know with out a doubt I will NEVER order from them again. More over all the person did was offer excuses and no solution to the problem that the kitchen is not equipped to handle a rush and the drivers were under staffed. The finale to this ordeal. I ordered the food at 7pm. It finally arrived at my house at 10:52pm. Obviously I found some scraps in my kitchen to call a meal at this point. The kicker is the food that was delivered was only HALF of my order. I ordered thru Grubhub and they refunded my money. TERRIBLE service. read more

As everyone else has clearly pointed out, this place has some amazing pizza! Amazingly crafted and delicious. It's a much needed staple for the Bed-Stuy area. Outside of the pizza menu, I normally get a beef pattie with coco bread, mozzarella and pepperoni. I'm a fat kid at heart, and they know how to please. The store is spotless, the employees are friendly and cool, and the preparation stations look clean. All-in-all, definitely grab a slice if you're in the area. read more

I decided to write another review because I have ordered from this place several times and it didn't live up to thew first order. My last order was delivered an hour after the delivery time. which is a total of two hours after I placed the order. The delivery women also worked for papa johns and was rude and pushing. When she finally delivered the food and I checked if it was cold she told me that it was warm when she had it and its my fault it was cold . Oh and I forgot I had to go up the block and around the corner to pick up the food from her while she sat in her car. When giving me my change back she insisted on a tip and wouldn't give me my money back until i told her how much change she would give me. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN. I will also be telling anyone I know in the area that orders from here not to as well because this was ridiculous. If you want cold food and wait 2 hours for then order from here. read more

Worst customer service ever from female on phone!!! My kids didn't get to eat their food Dumb employees including a manager who said I don't care about YELP ***lost customer over refusing to give us sauce we paid for*** Ordered normal food from Rocco's III at 330 Halsey. Grandma pizza Wings 2 orders Garlic knots Extra marinara sauce Extra sauce Says 45 mins to and hour. They take an hour. No problem. Delivery guy was a nice guy. We open the pizza, beautiful. The wings... ehhh small and not crispy Garlic knots look amazing until....... hey where's the marinara sauce?? No where to be found. We call in and the girl who answers verifies our $45 order and instead of saying no problem we are coming right back she says" well I'll refund you for the sauce!" REFUND ME FOR THE SAUCE? who is gonna eat dry food with no sauce? I say no prob refund my entire order! She's like what? So ok fine we gonna send him with a sauce. After living in the Fort Greene area for over 15 years, I moved north to the Bed-Stuy /Bushwick area. The biggest lament I have had for the last few years was that I couldn't find a pizza delivery worth anything, relegating me to Domino's or Little Caesar's, which everyone knows is not real pizza. This is why I am so relieved to find Rocco's 2! No, it isn't Saraghina or brick oven fancy-pants, but it is decent, good ol' fashioned NY pizza, with a thin crust and oily cheese. I would like to actually go by the place and order a slice right out of the oven to see how it tastes piping hot, but whatever--I know how to use my oven. Either way, this is a WAY better choice than that fast-food chain crap that most of the nation has to eat. Why spend money on garbage? By the way, their number, which isn't listed in the business info above, is 718-593-9200, just so's ya knows. read more

As a self-proclaimed pizza connoisseur I was slightly disappointed in Roccos. The pizza was at times a little too soggy to eat and it was overloaded with oversized toppings. At $2 a topping, I wanted to enjoy my peppers and onions a little more WITH the pizza. Not have a slice of pizza with a side of whole bell pepper... :-( read more

Rocco Pizza III - Pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, onions and peppers. Super soggy and overloaded - Pizza Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I've had enough good experience with this restaurant that I can feel comfortable to give it a 4. I've had pizza a couple of times, and it's about what you would expect so pretty good. What I probably get more is the Philly steak which is also good. Its in a convenient bedstuy location and they deliver. I've never had an issue with long delivery times, and have never had a bad customer service experience. I didn't give it a 5 because the place is a little generic, there's nothing special about it. It's the type of place you order from when you can't think of anywhere else to order from. read more

Me and my girlfriend have a saying. Bad pizza is like bad sex, it could be corny but at least you had pizza. I say that to say this restaurant has amazing potential, and room to grow. I recommend people trying this place out if you're in the area. It's not my favorite place for pizza but they're far from terrible. read more

Pizza is always on point, buffalo wings i wouldn't order again. staff is super cool. delivery guy is really sweet -usually clownin' around but gets to u pretty fast. I would recommend the pepperoni or eggplant pizzas, cheese is cool too I gave it an extra star to combat other reviewers BS! - if you dont like their buffalo wing recipe, dont order it! dont bash the whole company. read more

Best pizza in Brooklyn. I have tried so many and this just really enraptures a real NY pizza.

So not even near the best pizza you'll ever have but more than decent when you're jonesing for a slice. The crust has always been good on my orders unlink the too thick one on the chain pizza places in the area. The staff is also pretty good with their mix of neighboorhood staff with non-nieghborhood ones. Its definitely better than the pretentious Saraghina a few blocks up, which is decent but too overrated. read more

I usually love this place, I just ordered a grandpa pie that was supposed to have bacon pepperoni and jalapeños. Someone literally put an entire onion on this pizza and burnt it so bad it's hard to chew. It's inedible. Waste of food and money. read more

First off I've been ordering here for a long time... I decided to get the garlic bread with the pizza to try it. Sometimes.. Note to self, stick with what you know. I'll first talk about all the things I like. I like the fast delivery, I can get a 3 liter soda sent to me, I can order through seamless with a 13$ minimum.. They have mini pizzas which are big enough to still share. I've even had their meatball subs, it really is good. I've tried zeppoles.. However you may want to request them well done, they tend to be a little doughy for my liking. Now for the cardinal sin, as if they were killing me off as a vampire This is where I was failed. Now I had a friend who was sick and she told me about eating raw garlic... Surprise !!!!! I open my garlic bread and behold, larger than properly minced, 16 + cloves if fresh garlic on buttered toasted bread. On what planet, does this equate to GARLIC BREAD? Is it because I ordered early? Was someone just being lazy? Who the hell wants to bite into a moth full of 6 cloves of RAW garlic in every bite? You've got to be kidding me! My degree of pistivity prompted this review although it's the one terrible thing I've gotten from a pizza joint of all places. Needless to say, do not spend 3 dollars on a jar if chopped garlic on bread, they know damn well that garlic should've been blended with the butter properly then applied to my bread before it hit an oven, good grief! Sandwiches pizza zeppoles safe... Garlic bread NO GO. Happy ordering read more

Rocco 3 They have really gotten better in their pizza making. The pasta dishes are hit or miss depending on who's cooking. My only beef is the ordering before they got on the Eat24 delivery app list they would forget get items in my order. So now that u order online you think it would be better but no. I have done 2 orders through the Eat24 app and they left something out each time. But the pizza is better than before. read more

I ordered a calzone with spinach and it was delicious. Also a slice of pizza with mushrooms. I would rather get my Italian favorites from a real pizzeria and not a chain restaurant. They are more authentic. I was satisfied and the delivery was quick too. read more

So, I started going to this pizzeria in my neighborhood because the one that I usually go to closed down way before the pandemic started. My in person experience was good. My delivery experience was not. I tried 2 separate occasions. But my food was delayed & it got to my place cold. I get how everything is right now so I'll just stick with in person for as long as they allow it. read more

I am visiting from out of town. I am nearby and all my friends told me to come here because the pizza is amazing. And they weren't lying. It's amaaaaaazing. The dough is perfectly crunchy the sauce is perfectly blended with herbs and the toppings are generous. The best part however was Asia, the beautiful lady behind the counter. I came to this place twice in three days and both times she was there and greeted me with a smile and a great personality. I would aggressively pursue her to work at my place. She's sweet. Fast. Courteous and brings her own unique charm that makes the awesome pizza experience that much more awesome. Thanks Asia for the wonderful welcome. read more

Past do a review for Rocco's! The pizza at Themis little jewel is excellent. Ive been a few times now and have yet to be disappointed.

Made to order and done perfectly!! I asked for "thick, soft and chewy crust" and it was perfect! We really enjoyed their pizza and will absolutely order from them again!! Thanks Rocco Pizza !! read more

This pizza is the best we have found in BedStuy. The crust is excellent - a big deal to me. :) I only take away 1 star because there's not much sauce on this pizza. Easy enough fix, if you have sauce at home. We'll be ordering from Rocco's Pizza III again. If your idea of great NY pizza is a crust that is thin, but has some bite to it and is something you can fold, then this is probably the best BedStuy take out pizzeria. read more

It was a Wednesday night...cold and snuggle worthy. We ordered a large pizza left side varying from the right. No mushrooms, and a GINGER ALE + wings. Ranch and bleu cheese on the side. The order arrived and the pizza looks like it had been sitting behind a pane of glass all day and was pulled out to be smothered with overly thick peppers and onions, (after warming) then sent to our address. The chicken was hypertension bound salty. It was awful! confirming the disarranging, was sent a SPRITE. The sauce (bleu cheese/ ranch request) yeah, tasted like TARTER SAUCE! At this point we were like wtf, man?!... The crust was soggy! Geez! We spent 51.99 on crap! Had to grab dinner elsewhere. Called and got nowhere. 5 dollars toward our next order. Why would I want that? As if! Please! Grub Hub offered $10 bucks off our next order. You are the consumer, you do the math. Listen, I like good food like the next person and when spending money, want good food! And I also know that there are great eateries out here in New York City, but this place ain't one. Nope! read more

This is a review for Rocco Pizza. Roccos, Roccos III- WHATEVER it's Roccos on Halsey and it sucks. The delivery guy nearly yelled at me when he finally arrived for being "too far away". Not only am I in the delivery area, (how could I have placed my order online otherwise??) but I am literally 5 1/2 blocks away. A true 'what the fuck' moment. "Are you seriously mad at me because you can't afford a car and had to ride your bike to my house?" Would have been the perfect thing to have said at the time but posting it here way after the fact will have to suffice. My order took over an hour to arrive so when I called the place was now closed and they didn't pick up their phone. I called the delivery service, Grubhub.com and they were nice enough to give me a 5 dollar "hungry tummy" credit as they couldn't reach them by phone either. When my food FINALLY arrived it was nearly inedible. I had a side of meatballs which didn't taste like beef, they were either highly additive (soy protein, or breadcrumb filled) or they were on the verge of going bad. they were also chopped up into small angular pieces (What? Why??) and nearly drowned in a watery tomato sauce as if it were a soup. The sauce tasted and looked like it came directly out of a can with no embellishments. It hurts my head to see people praise this place on Yelp. And here is the REAL reason they lost my delivery dollars: my shrimp parm hero was so very pungent (like, super fishy smelling) I had to give it further inspection to make sure it didn't look as off as it smelled and the stomach-turning revelation was that the alimentary canals had not been removed. I've heard it called a dorsal tract but it's really parallel to their intestine, so the shit is right next to it's poop chute and should just remove them both at once when you clean shrimp. That's why it's called "CLEANING SHRIMP". Totally gross. Will never pay for disgusting garbage, rudeness and bad delivery service from this place again! read more

Damn I love this place. Quick, cheap, easy, food is great. Nothing to complain about.

I don't know how I should rate this restaurant. I didn't get a chance to eat their food. It was 30 minutes to closing. I called to see if I could still place a order. A male answered than passed phone to a female she hung the phone up on me!!! So, I'm sure I won't be patronizing this business. read more

First of all, the business name on this yelp listing is incorrect. The Rocco's at 330 Halsey is Rocco's III, not II. I submitted a change request to yelp. Now, on to the food. Like another reviewer said, this isn't fancy pants Saraghina pizza. This is good, old-fashioned, New York pizza, in an old-school, one-table shop that serves slices, pies, calzones, garlic knots, and a decent pasta menu. The pizza is really freakin' good. It tastes like New York pizza is supposed to taste: flavorful crust with the right balance of crusty and chewy, good mozzarella, and a slightly sweet sauce. In particular, they have a Grandma pie (rectangular pie with fresh tomato and parmesan in addition to mozzarella) which is to DIE for. Rocco's delivery is fast and free. Their pastas are good too, with enormous portion sizes that come with bread. The spot (not that you'd eat there- like I said, there's only one table) is impeccably clean. Locals may remember the old pizza joint which inhabited 330 Halsey before Rocco's took it over last year.... GROSS. Rocco's, thankfully, is spotless. Last but not least, the owners, and all of the guys who work there (including the delivery kid) are really sweet. My family and I love Rocco's! read more

In the age of Covid-19, I'm hyper conscious as to behavior in food establishments. On a recent trip to this location, of the 4 employees I saw interacting with the public or preparing food, one wore a mask, and he was in the rear kitchen. No one else wore gloves or a mask. I asked the cashier why no one is wearing a mask, she responded by saying "you have a valid point." And that was where she left it...Needless to say, I will find another location to order pizza. read more

Mini pizza fresh is the ONLY way to go here and it is pretty decent, pizza as slices is always some crusty old crap sitting in a dish like a hotdog in a seven eleven, very friendly staff if the clientele isn't, there a mixed bag of old prejudice farts & more semi with it peeps. Also funny thing is its one of those places where the kitchen is huge and at stretches at least twice as big as the resturant area itself, very odd, possibly business reasons, perhaps they actually do get decent amounts of catering orders, I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole myself just cause who in their right mind would from any pizza place in any planetary system. PS oddly this place reminds me of the inspiration that was the pizzeria in Do The Right Thing even if it doesn't necessarily look exact the part aesthetically, the woman who serves here seems not happy but I assure you she's just tired its nothing personal, she's pretty nice, that said she doesn't take directions on the phone all that well, I always have to follow up in person when picking up. Again the pizza here is so old looking I suspect there sticking it in the fridge overnight till its all gone to make a new one, and for that reason I just can't say to hit this somewhat endearing spot, this is after all ALL AOUT THE FOOD & not much if anything else. read more

Taking this place down a star. The pizza is good, the Caesar salad was a complete waste of $8. It was kept on top of the pizza in the insulating bag and arrived with wilted lettuce and the packet of Hidden Valley Caesar dressing was boiling hot. $8 for a tin of romaine and a packet of dressing is bad enough, but to have it hot and wilty is nasty. read more
