Unfortunately, the desserts didn't live up to how amazing they looked. The standout was the tiramisu cupcake. It was the best thing we tried, although it seemed like it was just starting to dry out. Still, it was enjoyable. The red velvet cake, however, was the driest slice of cake I've ever had. It was incredibly dry. The chocolate chip cookies had a slightly burnt taste around the edges, which was disappointing, and the red velvet cookie was very crunchy with none of the soft, chewy texture I was expecting. Overall, it was pretty mediocre. Lastly the Salted Caramel espresso cupcake was so overpowering felt like I was chewing coffee. Yuk To be fair, we visited around 3:00 p.m., so it's possible the desserts weren't as fresh as they are earlier in the day. That may have played a role in our experience. By far, our most favorite and most delicious cakes we've ever had for our special occasions. We've had the chance to showcase her cakes, cake pops, and cupcakes for several of our son's birthdays, baby showers and even my dad's surprise 70th.
