They appear to be one of the few authorized local retailers carrying some of the harder-to-find NeeDoh releases, yet I recently saw individual Halloween NeeDohs priced at nearly $25 EACH. When I asked about the significant markup, I was told that this was "fair market value" because resellers are selling them for similar prices. That explanation really bothered me. An authorized retailer purchasing directly through the brand is very different from a reseller on the secondary market. Families shouldn't have to pay reseller-level prices at a local authorized retailer simply because an item is popular or difficult to find. I love supporting small businesses and understand that they need to make a profit, but nearly $25 for an individual NeeDoh that is intended to retail for significantly less feels excessive. There are so many families and kids searching for these products, and I wish the pricing reflected that rather than what resellers are able to get online. Unfortunately, the experience left me really disappointed and hesitant to shop here again.

We took my Yelp friend Lori out for her birthday and we all chose the price fixe meal. The entrance can be confusing only because the front door jams shut and one has to go through the back of the restaurant. You get 4 course plus a bread course and amuse bouche. Let's pause for the bread course. This bite sized piece of heaven is otherworldly. They need to serve more of it throughout the meal. The chef's starter was lovely and then we settled into our meal. It will be European style service so definitely let them know if you need to hit a show or movie. From the four courses we tried a bit of everything: Beef tartar (wonderful and innovative version of this dish), foraged mushrooms, charred cabbage, beet passionfruit salad, filet mignon, duck confit, and the only dessert that matters: charred butter cake. All were stellar!! Not a miss on the menu and all at 5 star quality. We also had tea and a cocktail, again both were outstanding. The service needs refinement though. It's a step below Michelin level fine dining indeed. I brought two bottles of wine, corkage $25 each, and never once was our glasses filled. I filled up everyone's glasses all night. This was irritating as not only did I pay corkage, but they added $10 tip to corkage with automatic 20% tip at end. The server did not deserve that extra $10 although she was lovely throughout the meal except for one more misstep. After the main meal was over, I wanted to have some more of that wondrous bread and was told the kitchen was closed. We were never warned about this. Every restaurant tells the guests at least 15 minutes before the kitchen closes.
