I stopped in on Sunday while I was enjoying some beers at the brewery next door. Upon arrival I was promptly greeted by someone who pointed towards a screen for me to place my own to go order and pay. Prior to leaving, I asked if it would text me when I was ready. They told me yes. After a bit and not receiving a text, I second guessed if I put my phone number in correctly. I went back and my pizza was ready on the bar and the marinated olives I ordered were grabbed from a fridge behind the host stand. The olives really didn't have much flavor and were just in oil. For some reason I expected a little more to their marinade for $9.00. The pizza was hot and fresh.

On my first evening in Brooklyn, I was having beers next door and got hungry. Roberta's was next door, which was convenient for takeout. When I went in, the staff were clearly busy, but the counters of food looked delicious. I was told they were preparing a large catering order, but they were happy to make my food if I wouldn't mind waiting an hour. As I was planning on staying at the brewery a while, this worked fine. It looked like such a cozy spot with warm lighting on a cold night. Big windows let in natural light or nighttime lights too. After the wait, they called and I picked up my pizza. It was superb, well made dough, flavorful sauce and cheese. It was just what I needed. There are tons of amazing pizza places in New York, but I was happy to try this one out of convenience.

I heard so much about this place and i finally went! Came out kind of disappointed. The place was kind of sketchy if you go at night but not as bad as other places. The place itself is very cool and vibey and the servers were really nice. Foodwise it wasnt really good. We got the speckenwolf which had mushrooms and onions and ham. It was lacking flavor and sauce and it felt really dry. We also tried the rigatoni Carbonara and it was really salty and spicy. It had way too much pepper and didn't taste like carbonara at all. Prices are more on the expensive side over 25 for each dish. At least the food came quick. We did make a reservation for a friday at 6 but honestly it wasn't crowded at all when we went until 7ish. At least the food came out quick. There is also a bathroom and a place to hang your coat.

What a great way to end my tour of Brooklyn with some delicious pizza and pasta! First, let me just say that service is amazing! We asked about the ricotta and mint caramelle pasta, and the waitress was super excited to show us a picture on how it's made. I think it's great when the staff are genuinely enthusiastic about the food, so we definitely ordered that. And yes, it was delicious! It was a hint of mint that brightened the ricotta and lemon. The pasta was pillowy soft. I can see why it's highlighted on the menu. We also got the carbonara, and it was rich and cheesy. The pasta had a good bite. We also got the Bee Sting pizza. I love hot honey, so this pizza was right up my alley. The spice level was just right, though personally I could go for something spicier. But for the average person, I think it's good as is. The pizza itself was delicious - it had a good crust and the tomatoes were bright. It's everything that I expect from a NY-style pizza. The space is really nice! It's a casual, clean aesthetic with large windows and lots of plants. Definitely a place to come with friends and enjoy pizza together.

It may have been a bad night for the restaurant. We went here over the summer and it was amazing but this time, the bee sting pizza was mediocre. We had the gem salad and meatballs which were both good. Our server was nice enough but she was not too responsive. She did try to help with a Resy credit but it didn't work. Probably because th me hostess didn't check us in properly. Also, the Zinfandel was not great but the staff was more than willing to give us something else. The ambiance was just ok. Not sure we would come back. Too bad!

Wood fired pizza hits different. So when I saw this place I wanna give it a try. We are in the area because this location is such a cool place to hangout especially when you have kids. Its close to a big playground by the waterfront. After the kids got tired from the park we decided to take a walk to find something to eat and saw this restaurant. The interior give me that cool artsy vibe. When we walked in we got seated right away and order 2 pizza, the rosso & margherita. Both pizza taste so delicious and it is not so thin and not so thick. Every bite was perfect blend of flavors. We also ordered the little gem salad, it has romane lettuce, garlic breadcrumbs and lots of cheese. Its simple but so tasty. We enjoyed our food. I highly recommend!

This review is for dinner. If you're familiar with the brand and wanting to try Roberta's, I would recommend going to the OG location versus this one. The menu is the same (I think), but the quality of the food is better at the other location. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. It's a decent neighborhood spot if you live within walking distance. It's also centrally located in Domino Park, so I imagine coming here in the spring/summer would be a plus. Restaurant is actually pretty spacious and could be good for groups. Very casual cozy ambiance and good service. I split the below between two people: -Little Gem Salad: not good. But I've had at their OG location and I enjoyed so I think something was off. Some of the lettuce was brown and wilted. Dressing was super watered down and had no flavor. -Cacio e Pepe: VERY peppery, but I enjoyed. Noodles cooked perfectly. Nice and creamy. -Bee Sting: (no photo) pizza style is thin and NOT crunchy. Perfect size to share with someone else. Has the right hint of heat and is saucy. Recommend.

Famous wood fired pizza originated in Bushwick not too far from this location. Neapolitan style huge on variations with perfect undercarriage. Awesome vibes and service is outstanding. This location with a full bar is perfect for a meal then a stroll along Domino Park waterfront with unobstructed view of NYC skyline. Perfect location in Brooklyn.

When I got a few recommendations for Roberta's, I knew I had to come try this spot out. While in Williamsburg, we decided to grab some pizzas here for takeout. I made a pickup order over phone, which was ready in 15 minutes. They even sent me a confirmation text as soon as it was ready. We got the Bee Sting ($24) and Famous Original ($22), which was a good amount for three people. The pizzas are a bit on the smaller size, but given for the Neapolitan style pizza. The thin crust is crispy yet chewy. I really enjoyed the Bee Sting for the chili and honey because hot honey on pizza is the best thing ever. It gave it a nice kick of spice and hint of sweetness all wrapped in this savory carb. I love how this location is right on the oceanfront, so perfect to grab to-go and enjoy with a view.

RATING: 8.3/10 PRO TIP: Get the bee sting, skip the peppar pig because it doesn't have as much meat as you'd think it does. KABOCHA SQUASH This was good, and artfully crafted. The textures were on point and that heartiness of the sweet potato is really honored. The slight char is where all the flavor is at so make sure you get a bite of that. PIZZAS BEE STING*** - These pizzas are if NYC and neapolitan style had a baby. Charred, chewy crust, and thin thin but not "wet' as some ppl complain about neapolitan style but they are personal pies. Bee sting has a nice dose of mikes hot honey to elevate it, and was my favorite, with savory slices of meat giving you that rich kiss of umami. PEPPAR PIG Based on its description, we thought it was going to be a meat-heavy sort of pie but it unfortunately wasn't, and the shining stars here are the vegetables which while enjoyable didn't meat expectations. The bee sting had more meat we think by volume. It almost tasted like a veggie pie but was still good. SQUASH PIE This was interesting, and a great option of vegetarians, with nice spools of cheese to go with crispy onions and layers of smooth squash. Surprisingly hearty, the ingredients complement each other well and the crispy onions add a nice dose of crisp texture. Good! FINAL CATEGORY: GOOD / GREAT (terrible / bad / ok / GOOD / GREAT / excellent)

Great pizza and situated nicely by the water! Seats may be hard to get indoors but they also have outdoor seating. You can also get pizza from here if you are a patron at the other half brewery two doors down. Get it delivered to the bar or grab it to go!

Been coming to Roberta's for a decade now, although this is one of their newer locations. Love how they prioritize local, fresh ingredients, which also means they're changing up their menu semi-seasonally. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table (grabbed a beer next door at Other Half brewery), which was great since we were quoted an hour. On weekends, evenings, and good-weather days, a wait can be expected, but they always have a takeout counter with first-come first-served covered, outdoor seating. Their prices used to be considered high for a personal-sized pizza 10 years ago, and while they've gone up $3-5 per item, most other specialty pizza joints are on par price-wise these days. The Famous Original was as good as always (love adding chili oil or jalapeños for $1). The Peppar Pig was new for us and a bit underwhelming. It was a white pizza, a preference of mine, but the pork let something to be desired. Big pieces, but very dry. I also hoped the peppers would have a kick, but they were actually pickled sweet peppers, so it wasn't a spicy pie as the name implied. It was still good, probably a 3.5/5, but no 5/5 Famous Original! From past visits, we also highly recommend the Lil Stinker or Bee Sting. Love grabbing to-go to take the brewery or home as well!

Our group of 6 came on a weekday night and got seated right away! We took the waiters recommendations and ordered 4 different pies to share. The crowd favorite was definitely the bees sting. The flavor was well balanced with honey on top. The restaurant was also by the pier and the view was amazing. Loved the staffs working there as well :) read more

I have been living in NY for over 10 years. Probably one of the worst pizza I ever tried. The dough was terrible, rested/rose for not enough time, their "Ursula's parade" pizza should be banned: wtf is this combo of ingredients. SHAME ON YOU read more

Best spot to go to eat after spending the day at Domino Park. Food is made fresh and drinks are refreshing . We didn't know what to pick but a waiters suggestions definitively were great . Great food and service along the waterfront. Best pizza we had on our NY trip hands down. Better than Lombardi's, NY pizza Suprema, and any of the other ones. Ambiance reminded us of SoCal, very nice. Bee sting pie is the best. read more

took my family to try robertas pizza and we enjoyed it so much! it's also right next to domino park so we enjoyed a walk right after - bee sting pizza (tomato, mozzarella, soppressata, basil, chili, honey) - this was one of our favs! a great mix of sweet (from the honey) & salty (from the soppressata & chili) - famous original (tomato, mozzarella, parmigiana, caciocavallo, oregano, chili) - we must order an original house pizza where ever we go & this one was pretty simple but so good - cheesus christ (mozzarella, taleggio, parmigiana, black pepper, cream) - not the best white version ive ever had but i love white pizza sm so i still really enjoyed - heritage pork ribs (grilled & smoked ribs w honey, vinegar, togarashi) - loved the ribs here! they were sweet, slightly salty & tender (ig: @missrubo) read more

Three of us (all people of color/black) walked in to get a drink. The hostess said there was no room at the bar (even though we could see that there were two seats available). Fine, maybe they don't want people standing at the bar (weird if so, but whatever). We asked if there was any table seating available, and the hostess (without missing a beat and without checking the system OR glancing over) said "Sorry, that's not available either." and sort of stared right at us, giving us this weird, cold vibe. We could see at least 8 to 10 empty tables (maybe even more) AND available outdoor seating, and they remained open for a while after this interaction (we could see that because we ended up going right next door to a much more welcoming spot). The whole experience was very confusing for us, because we were friendly/polite, not inebriated, and not disruptive in any way (can't even believe in this day and age one feels the need to explain that), and we can't figure out why we couldn't be seated...it just felt very "you're not welcome here". read more

OMG the bee sting Pizza it's beyond the best I've ever tried from all brick oven pizzas in Brooklyn and Manhattan's SOHO area. I like this location it's very tranquil and therapeutic also the Staff are very attentive and cool the Manager was very professional,carful , courteous and down to earth. The food is so amazing I come here a few times a week trust me you'll love it !!!!!! read more

Yes, the pizza was good, but... we had really bad luck with the service. Had a reservation for 8:15 (on a Monday!) Showed up at 8:05 (yes, we were early). The apparent manager approached us as we were waiting to see the hostess. He kept looking at his phone as we were talking, as though it had pertinent information on it, but he just wanted us to wait for the hostess in a different place. When we eventually got to talk to her, she asked us to come back in 10 minutes. It was 15 minutes after that (so, 25 minutes after we arrived and 15 minutes after our reservation time) before we were seated, at a table that had been empty since our first interaction. Our server was very pleasant, but he brought one incorrect beer (out of our four drink orders). Then pizzas came out sporadically, with the fourth never arriving. They did take the missing pizza plus one more off our bill, but I'm not sure I can bring myself to go back. read more

Beautiful location and solid pizza. Roberta's was our last stop on our self-guided Brooklyn pizza tour and it was a good one to close out the day. We ordered the Bee Sting which came with tomato, mozzarella, soppressata, basil, chili and honey. It had a nice salty/sweet combination to it. I always love the thin crust New York style, great option if you're hanging out in Dumbo. read more

Went in on Saturday early to order a simple pizza to go with a toddler. It wasn't busy. Host didn't mention the kitchen was backed-up until 30 minutes later and then said it would only be a few more minutes. After a few more minutes they told me it would be a long time. They gave me refund, that's it! nothing for the time I just wasted getting gaslighted by staff. Will not be going back to this pretentious place. Very poor service to a mother with little one in a neighborhood with lots of good pizza. read more

Roberta's is usually not great with service (in my past experiences sitting at a table with multiple people) but today I stopped in by myself and sat at the bar. Hunter was my server at the bar. He was awesome. Very friendly and made sure I had what I needed. The experience was totally easy and stress free, despite the restaurant being pretty crowded. I had the Bee Sting pizza which is my favorite, and it was good as usual. read more

Roberta's is world famous for it's pizza-- but I found the food at this location just OK. We ordered pretty much one of each pizza (the Stinker, the Rosso, the Original, and one or two others I can't remember the names of), the garlic knots, and the two salads (Little Gem & Chicory). The knots are superb - there is no doubt about that. BUT, while everything else was tasty, there wasn't anything that stood out as "wow" or worthy of their reputation. I would 100% go back and give it another try (maybe they were having an off day)- but I was a little underwhelmed. read more

I frankly don't understand the hype for Roberta's. We were hanging out at domino park and decided to grab a pizza here since this place always comes. We ordered the Bee Sting and it was totally mediocre. There was more crust than anything else, and the cheese and toppings tasted fine but not worth neither the price nor distinction of being particularly good pizza especially with better selections nearby. Service was okay. We ordered and received a device that would vibrate when ready. We waited in their outdoor seating area, after 40 minutes of not ringing (and it wasn't that busy) I walked in, gave my name and the pizza had been ready. Heard a few other people complain they were never notified either. So us and a lot of other people got some cold pizza. At this point I think people want to like Roberta's since it's "Roberta's" but I'll never come here again because l'industrie is down the street for good pizza and a number of other restaurants nearby if you want a good sit down place. read more

I'm always so satisfied when having Roberta's pizza. Fell in love with the original location on Moore Street and have followed their pop-ups all over the city. Now they have expanded to another brick and mortar and I love the new digs! Great airflow with two open door entrance/exits. Comfortable seating. Friendly staff and inviting decor. The location is prime Realestate sitting just at the North entrance of Williamsburg's Domino Park. read more

Pizza is excellent. Expensive for the size but what I'd expect in this location, you're paying for the view of the park! So I'm ok with that. I'm only giving it four stars because we ordered two pies (they are personal sized and out server was very clear about that because at first I just ordered one) and then she only brought one... I assumed the second was right behind it but we finished the pie and sat there for another five or six minutes and nobody came over to check on us once or anything. Finally I got her attention and asked her where the second pie was and she just stared at me, and asked if I wanted the second pie. Uh... yeah we want the second pie. What??? It took another 10 minutes, clearly she'd forgotten to put in the order. Now it was annoying, but I wasn't in a rush so I didn't really matter which is why we gave her a generous tip anyway (can't not tip well no matter what in these covid times, in my opinion) but I really would have appreciated if she had just owned the fact that she forgot instead of staring dumbfounded at me as if I was asking for too much to ask for the second pie! I hate when people try to pretend that they didn't make a mistake instead of owning up to it. And the way she did it was so rude that it really put me in a little bit of a bad mood. Anyway, to the server if you're reading this-- just be a little more gracious if you mess up, I tipped 25% but I would've tipped over 30% if you had been kinder. read more

When I moved to the Williamsburg hood 6 months ago, one of the things I was most excited for was to find a local spot to frequent. It didn't take long for Roberta's to fulfill that desire. It checks all the boxes of 1) convenience 2) amazing food 3) lovely staff 4) great ambiance and 5) it had to be a pizza place because pizza is my favorite food in the entire world, and there isn't a close second. My favorites are: Little gem salad Stracciatella Famous original Margherita I don't eat meat but I've been with friends who eat the bee sting and said it's their favorite. Also they do cheeky things with their menu sometimes. Once they had a pizza called the nightshade parm'th, and that's obviously the best episode of it's always sunny of all time. That pun in particular really slapped. Summer here is unreal as you can sit outside right next to Domino. We even bring our dog Mazie and she's a fan of the outdoor vibes and (if she's lucky) pizza crust. Also very much disagree with reviews saying there is bad service - have been here 15+ times and have had lovely interactions every single time. Good vibes. Phenomenal pizza. Can't really ask for more! read more

This is their second NY location and I had a pretty solid and similar experience as I did with their Williamsburg/Bushwick location - solid pizza but takes a while to get the food. Came here with two friends with a reservation on a weekday for dinner and while we enjoyed the food, it took an hour+ to get out. We ordered a couple of cocktails and wine for the table and got the chicken liver mousse agnolotti, the bee sting pizza, the crispy glover pizza, and the white and greens pizza (ordered later on in meal after a little buzz) to share. For cocktails, got the banana hammock (lol) that was coming off the menu and el santo's paradise. They were tasty and did the job. In regards to the food, I thought the amount ordered was perfect for a satisfied full, but not quite food coma full. Out of all the food, the pizzas were definitely the highlight and while the chicken liver mousse agnolotti was good, I think best to stick with pizza while at Roberta's and get in a pasta fix at any of the other good Italian restaurants in NYC. Out of the pizzas, I liked the crispy glover pizza the best. All the pizzas were good, but the guanciale/red onion/heat from chili combo with crispy glover was amazing and am craving it now as I finish writing this... read more

Apple Maps won't take you to the exact location- it's on the corner of River and Grand. Great food, tasteful music, and mellow atmosphere. Must have: -Bee Sting Pizza Thin crust and great mozzarella. The honey drizzle really takes the sauce up a notch. read more

Really delicious and the vibe was nice! My favorite was the sungold pasta, so much flavor! Next time I have to get one just for me lol The pizza was good, I had the beesting which the server said was the most popular. I could definitely see why it was, the fusion of spicy, sweet and savory was really interesting. I wasn't crazy about the Straciatella, very plain! Maybe it would have been elevated for me if it was served with garlic bread. To finish the delicious meal with I had sticky buns with sorbet which were *chefs kiss*. Overall with the food and service it is definitely deserving of 5 stars. read more

Solid brick/coal oven style pizza. I still prefer a classic NY slice when in the area but you can't deny that this is good pizza. We enjoyed a white pizza and a classic pizza while hanging out at the other half brewery. Can't beat the convenience of their ordering system either. read more

If I could leave less stars I would. My boyfriend and I usually come to this location. We live in the community and of course on April 24th around 7:40 PM we walked to Roberta's to have a sit down dinner. The person at the register took our phone number and name and informed us that the waiting time would be possibly an hour or so. Needless to say I am still waiting on a call or a text from them to tell me that they had no available tables for two people that night. I received a text stating that we were on the waiting list. However, I find it extremely rude that we didn't even get notified about no availability. As you may know there are several different pizza shops around the community if I would have known that Roberta's was not going to accommodate us we would have gladly gone to another place with better customer service. I am extremely disappointed. read more

In a city known for pizza, it is funny how sometimes all the neighborhood places don't live up. Such was the case for me in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Then I ordered from Robertas!! The pizza was great and delivery quick and efficient and this will definitely be my go to for pizza at home!!! read more

Amazing pizzas! The perfect crust, the most delicious sauce, perfect toppings and all in all, a delight! We have been here multiple times and usually get the original, stinker and rosso. This time we also tried the Cacio e Pepe pasta and it wasn't good - the portion was extremely small, more like an appetizer than an entree. Plus it wasn't cooked enough - beyond al dente for sure. Just go with the pizzas because they are amazing. The service both times was really good as well. read more

Went to go here today, left my place in Hoboken and arrived at 12 at Roberta's and the door was locked no sign to say it was closed, nothing on yelp, tried to call no answer, final found someone in the bakery who told me it was closed, great respect for your customers...... read more

Really delicious pizza with one of the best seasoned red sauces I've tasted. Only complaint is that the pies are definitely on the smaller side (I thought their small could have been a personal pie) and the crust was a little too charred for my liking. Overall I would definitely recommend and you can't beat the location! read more

Then pop back in the oven for the imported olive oil to permeate and create a beautiful glistening coat. And once cooked he would then graciously cut basil on top of the pie. Dom has now passed but his legacy continues. I've always compared the then pie vs now. And like most things,, nothing beats the original. This is still a very good slice. I once rated them as the best in NYC. Unfortunately, its not at the very top but still on the podium. Coming back feels like you are saying hello to an old friend. If you haven't been, you have to try at least once.

They're both phenomenal in their respective rights. When asked by non-NY'ers which pizza is my favourite- this is number one for Sicilian- not heavy at all. The crust is light, airy, and flavourful. The cheese to sauce ratio is perfect- not swimming in greasy cheap cheese. I have the same standards for Neapolitan Pizza. We can discuss that elsewhere. Please never close shop- at least let's celebrate the centenary!

We've visited this restaurant occasionally in the past, but our most recent experience was extremely disappointing. The place appeared to be understaffed that day--no one came to take our order for quite some time, and we eventually had to flag down our server. We ordered two pizzas and waited over 40 minutes, only to watch another table--who arrived after us--receive and finish their meal before ours even arrived. When we brought this up, our pizzas were suddenly brought out within minutes, which raised concerns about how the kitchen was managing orders. Throughout the meal, no staff came by to check on us, and we had to go directly to the kitchen just to ask for water. Overall, it was a frustrating and disappointing lunch. To make matters worse, we later noticed that the tip amount on our credit card had been increased without our authorization. This kind of unauthorized charge is unacceptable and feels dishonest. Unfortunately, our experience at the restaurant tonight was not a positive one. The food was very tasty, and every dish that arrived at our table was excellent. However, it was extremely frustrating that we had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for everything: drinks, appetizers, and most notably, nearly an hour for the pizza (to be fair, we were told in advance it would take about 30 minutes). At no point did a server approach us to explain the delay, apologize, or offer any kind of compensation. Additionally, we sensed a tense atmosphere among the staff, who seemed overwhelmed and that there was some chaos in the kitchen. I would have rated great but unsure how not allowing delivery and only in person dining IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC is really fair to all of us that don't have the luxury of carelessly eating out and spreading COVID especially with health issues. If you want pizza on the weekend no can do here you must go dine in and maybe catch COVID in order to enjoy their food while sharing air with a bunch of drunk Williamsburg types. Gross and DANGEROUS. If you can manage the orders the rest of the week with delivery (mind you doordash's delivery people not even their own staff) then I think you can on the weekend and not encourage unsafe and dangerous behaviors especially the lax social distancing enforced there if you go. read more

Ursula's parade is the best clam pizza I've ever had anywhere! Their pastas are all perfectly al dente, authentic and delicious. Great deserts. Very accommodating and friendly. I love this place and it's the best. read more

The pizza was good. Looked at their merch. 1 T-shirt depicting Satan. Another demonic. One reason to never go. Shame on you
