I experienced the worst customer service at Robert Horne Ford Service Department. I made an appointment to bring my car in for service on a Tuesday morning. I asked the assigned Service Advisor (Brandon K.) to call later that day to let me know how long they may need to keep my vehicle after their initial inspection. I did not receive a call later that day. I called on Wednesday afternoon to speak to my Service Advisor, but I was told he was busy at that time but he would call me back soon. I did not get a call back on Wednesday. I called back Thursday morning and I was told again that my Service Advisor was on a call, but he would call me back very soon. He did not call me back, so I called back at 4:30 PM and I asked to speak to the Manager of the Service Department. The man identified himself as Todd on the phone. I explained the situation and the lack of communication for the previous days. Todd said my vehicle was in the shop at that moment and that he would go speak to the Technician that was working on the vehicle and call me back within 10 minutes. I never received a call back that day. On Friday morning I decided to go back in person to the Service Department to determine what was going on. I asked to speak to the Service Manager, Todd, but was told he was in a meeting. But was told I could speak the another Manager named Mike. I explained to the situation to Mike and he went in the shop to get me an update. A few minutes later, a very apologetic Mike explained to me that my vehicle was not worked on at all since I dropped it off four days prior. He indicated that my car was #3 in line today for work. He provided me a copy of my work order which also showed no work had been done and he said there was excuses and they should have called with updates. I simply asked for my keys to take my vehicle elsewhere. It was most disappointing to have the Service Manager (Todd) tell me on Wednesday that they were actively working on my car at that moment. Clearly this Service Department has zero clue what customer service is and is not trustworthy establishment. You will see many available appointments on their online self-service website. Clearly having an appointment means nothing. I spoke to another of their customers on the day I picked up my vehicle and he said that this location was notorious for bad service. I would give zero stars if that was an option. read more

Today I took my 2016 Ford F-250 pickup the Robert Horne Ford for a simple oil change. I booked my appointment in advance to save time and was quoted $89.95 plus tax for the service. After the service was completed I got the bill for $155.00 so I asked why it was more than I was quoted. The service writer first told me nobody quoted me $89.95 and was extremely rude to me. They finally admitted they book the service thru a third party booking service. I reminded them they are acting as an agent of their company and they needed to quote honest prices. After demanding to speak to the general manager and then waiting 20 minutes they finally adjusted my bill to the price I was quoted. I haven't been treated that rudely in many years. I will never give them any further business as bait and switch is against the law and that is clearly what they practice. read more

Guess I should've came here first before driving there for a big disappointment. Buyer beware! I made an appointment today with Internet sales representative. As I opened the passenger door I noticed a water stain on the seat. The closer I looked I noticed dark oil stains on car matts and filthy carpet and seats in the back. The car looked liked it had been submerged in water (Gla 250).How can you pull up a car to the front for a client looking like that? I was told I would be getting a call from a manager, that never happened. All I can say is don't waste your time with these clowns! read more

Went out today with the plan to buy a new truck. Started at Robert Horne Ford because it is close to home and the Google reviews were positive. The Yelp reviews were more negative but a lot fewer of them in general. I AM GLAD I didn't allow the Yelp reviews to scare me away. They experience was very good. The information on their website was accurate and they honored the pricing without issue. There were some minor dealer add-ons not mentioned on the internet pricing, but they were reasonable in negotiating the ones I really wanted and didn't want. Dale and Mike were easy to work with and made the experience as painless as possible. I feel the dealership is honest and trustworthy. To me that means a lot. read more

If you are looking for a dealer that delivers what it promises - keep looking. The website says no gimicks and no games. Be careful - the price listed on the website is NOT the price of the vehicle. The vehicles listed on the site are not necessarily even there - even when the sales person says he is going to grab the keys for you. They are there to get you into the dealer. There are many surprises and frustrations along the way. By the time they got done with us the truck was almost $2,000 more and it took almost four hours to get the paperwork done even though we sent the documents in ahead of time. There are "installed accessories" that are extra as well as "optional" items that are not optional. Even if you ask multiple times if the price is really the price - be assured - that is not the price - you are paying more. Their paperwork team struggled with the Farm Bureau rebates we had and could not title the truck the way we needed it titled. so after paying them for the title work once we get the title we get to head to DMV and do it again. We gave the dealer the opportunity to rectify the situation before posting a review and after a 30 minute conversation with the sales manager going over the issues and hearing the reasons/excuses and the challenges of being a car dealer, nothing changed. Responses to the posted review showed the dealership hadn't even read the review but yet claims they "care about the customer" We are not sure where there is a car dealer that delivers what they promise but we do know it isn't at Robert Horne Ford. Keep looking. Caveat emptor!! read more

I have brought both my Edge and F350 in here, last week the check engine light was on, left the truck with them for the week, went to pick it up and the light still comes on the mechanic did not look at the whole DEF system waited another 3 hours missed a personal event that I needed the truck for. Today an oil change on my Edge, took over 3 hours with an appt, was not offered a loaner vehicle after the mechanic dropped the transmission fluid cap in the engine... service advisors are rude and do not offer updates to customers. Bought 2020 Expedition King Ranch in July, received recall notice set up appointment last week for first oil change - recalls & passenger running board randomly goes up and down. They knew in advance the recalls but did not verify they had the parts on hand , Could not find the problem with running board, & then tried to bill me for the oil change . When purchased the sales team swore if this ever happened, we would always have a loner. Well that didn't happen either. No matter how much we complained. After spending $90K , I would expect a little more service. read more

We have dealt with a number of Ford dealerships throughout the years and Robert Horne Ford is the only one that offers consistent quality of service and pricing. They were able to fix our fuel port housing and replace a key quickly and for far less than others were offering. Dealership Ordered an 2023 F150 using my name and email address without my permission. I never signed anything or asked them to do that. After getting an email I inquired why they did that they said they would cancel it but I'm still receiving notifications of the truck moving through production line so turns out they lied. They used my contact info to order a truck for them to sell to someone else. I'm also reaching out to Ford to give them dealer feedback and hopefully get the truck stopped. Also posting reviews on every site I can to convince enough people not to buy from here so they lose more money than they would have made from selling this truck they used my information to order read more

Phenomenal dealership - Mike Goodman made sure to my wife and me that everything was clear and understandable before paperwork was completed. This dealership will lie and cheat to you. A complete scam. I don't recommend this place to anyone. I went in for warranty work. After they diagnosed the problem and confirmed it was warranty work I was told I had a $250 deductible plus $100-$200 for parts not covered. When it was ready, I returned to pick it up and was given a $1400 bill. I asked why it was so much more then the quote I was told they had to do an oil change and replace the air filter. Also replace coolant. When I questioned the reasoning for this the service manager said he would go review the invoice and come back. After a 20 minute wait he came back and said he took off the oil change which brought the bill down to $1100. I reluctantly paid but stated I wasn't satisfied. When I got back home I looked in the back of my truck and noticed the oil and filter from the supposed oil change. So they were going to charge me for an oil change that was never done. I also checked the invoice and realized I was over charged for several of the parts used. The service manager will not my calls or return my phone calls. Never again! Complete rip off and a bunch crooks. read more

I must love crappy service, because I keep going there. But now I've finally had it. I'm done with them. I have been going there for about 7 years or so, mostly for oil changes. One time I went for an oil change and after the change I was heading home and the transmission seemed funny, it felt like it was slipping, so I get home and check the dipstick and there was no oil on it. So I had to get a ride to NAPA for oil. It took almost 5 quarts. I went back to Horn and asked WTH. They told me I probably had a leak, I said no. There was no oil anywhere on my driveway or any on the undercarriage. They didn't know what happened but basically wasn't their deal. Even though they just changed the oil. The engine oil, not the trany oil. On another oil change they forgot to re attach the under skirting, so it was down there flapping around. Now the latest incident, An oil change. I park it in my driveway and in the morning there is a trail of engine oil underneath the truck. Now I have a shitty stain on my driveway. So I take it back. They told me it was a defective oil filter seal. I can only hope it wasn't double gasketed. If it was, I got lucky, I didn't have a blow out and ruin the engine. All of these things happened with in five oil changes. They are very sloppy, there employees are very young with no oversite in the fast lane part of the business. Just basically a shitty run business, with the potential to cost you a lot of money with their screw ups. Save yourself the risk and headache and go some ware else. read more

I didn't buy my truck from here due to the shortage at the beginning of the year but I took my truck for her first service along with getting some warranty work done. My service manager is Roger and he is awesome! He took my vehicle in, didn't make me wait in the waiting room for long, coordinated a vehicle to use while mine was going for repairs. It ended up getting done a day ahead of time! Picked up my vehicle and dropped off the rental, the entire process was smooth and painless! Highly recommend both this dealership and Roger! read more

Brought my SUV in to have it looked at for noise coming from under the front end. Needed to replace the engine mount and asked me to leave the vehicle while they would order the part and complete the work. Long story short, had my truck for a week with no communication from Service Department. Called a day after the job was suppose to be completed to find out that they couldn't get the part and nothing was fixed. Picked up my truck and asked how long to get the part and nobody could even provide an approximate time frame. read more

If I could, I wouldn't even pick one star. I came to visit my mom, and I noticed that her car might be leaking oil. We decided to call and schedule an appointment to get her car fixed. They told us to come in for the appointment at 9 am the next morning. My mom is over 80, and we are here to visit and assist her, so we can't leave her without a car. When we arrived and checked in with Juan, he immediately informed us that it would take 24 to 48 hours just to perform a diagnostic. We were disappointed because it would have been more considerate if they had mentioned this when we made the appointment. Juan also told us that they had no rental cars available, and he seemed indifferent to whether or not we chose to have our car serviced there, even though we bought it there and have been servicing our car at their dealership since 2015. The entire department lacked concern and professionalism. Consequently, we decided to leave and seek service elsewhere. We took the car to Big-O-Tires, and they were able to fix it on the same day. Our experience with the dealership was marked by terrible customer service. I would advise others not to waste their time there, unless they have days to spare and don't mind being treated as if their business is not valued. read more

WORST!!! SERVICE!!! EVER!! (lack of service is more accurate) They scheduled my car Saturday morning early to repair the rear tailgate. Arrived 10 minutes early. We were assigned to Logan at the service desk. Stood there for 10 minutes while 5 guys stood behind the counter and BS'd amongst themselves. Had to wait 10-15 minutes while 5 guys goofed off and Logan talked on the phone. Monday noon they had not even looked at the vehicle yet. By 5:00 pm Monday they had not yet diagnosed the tailgate. I asked how long it takes to look at the vehicle and was told by Logan quite unpleasantly " Ma'am that is the world we live in!!" They could never figure out what the issue is because they didn't have it long enough. We went to pick it up Tuesday afternoon and was charged $75 to look at the car??!!!!! It is a FORD flex!! They couldn't fix it after 3 days!! Why do people buy cars? Because they need to drive it, not leave it at the service department for a week!!! Then get snarly attitude. I will never step foot at this place again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Horne Ford is different, in a very good way. We love new cars and have bought over a dozen new vehicles over the years, but always dread the dealership drama. Anyone who has stepped foot on a car lot knows what it feels like - prey for the predators. But not here. No pressure here, in fact the sales process was pleasant. Joe, our salesman was very informative, knowledgeable, and genuine. We found the truck we wanted on their website and the process of buying and trading was a breeze. NOT the usual high pressure, hard selling, hours of negotiating, exhausting experience at all. We had to drive a little to come here, but it would be worth driving a very long way. Not only was the time there refreshing, but they take the time to follow up and make sure that your questions are answered and you are satisfied. Very happy to have found them! The Yelp reviews that are negative I think are the outliers - people tend to use Yelp as a complaint-only forum IMHO. Just look at the Google reviews and see what I mean. read more

I give them one star only because of the sales lady Dorothy. I paid with a check for the vehicle i purchased. I gave them all of my information for the paperwork. I confirmed they were not using this information to pull my credit as it was not needed. They indeed pulled my credit against my wishes. Needless to say I am very unhappy! I called to get it removed and all I got was the run around ending at the same person who was about as intelligent as a 5 year old child. This is the 2nd vehicle I have bought from this dealership for my company and will be the last as they have yet to aide me in removing an unwarranted credit inquiry. read more

Absolutely love this place! The staff really makes it their mission to take care of you. I had a bad experience at another dealership and took my business here instead. Not only did they walk me through each step of my sale with them but they gave me great advice on handling my situation at the previous dealership. They even picked up the funds from my bank I outsourced the financing to. Aside from customer service, their fees are very minimal compared to other dealerships and also straight forward. Their extended warranty is notably better than others as well. Highly recommend this place!! Thank you, Jaime and Louis for taking care of me! read more

I brought my vehicle in for an 8 am oil change and indicated I would be waiting on site for the vehicle. After over an hour and 15 minutes by I went to check on their progress. They informed me that due to a "meeting" they had in the service area that had not even started my vehicle yet and it would be another 45 minutes. This puts me at almost 2 hours of having to wait for an oil change. At least if they had told me when I got in that the appointment time would be pushed back an hour I could have gotten a ride back and could have used this time working instead of waiting there for 2 hours. Ill never bring any of our vehicles to Robert Horne Ford again after this. Almost 2 hours for an oil change is unacceptable, especially when they know the customer is waiting on site. read more

Not wasting time going over what went wrong (couldn't make me a ford truck key after waiting more than an hour and a week of follow up calls), but I won't be going back here for ANYTHING! Can't make a key!!? How can you trust such a business to do even routine maintenance. Yes, It's really convenient and close to the house and no, I'll be visiting Berge Ford for all my needs in the future. Berge made the key within 20 minutes, by the way. Funny, the general manager, Mike H sent me a follow up letter about a month later asking me to give them an 'Excellent Overall Service experience' when Ford Motor Company corporate contacted me to see how my experience was. Ha! Not going to happen. One star sine I left without a key made. On a positive note, at least I got an explanation from the service manager as to why they couldn't make a key... Oh well. I guess I could have read the other reviews here before I dropped by and saved myself some time. read more

We brought a Ford Edge a little over a year ago from them, all was good except we had to sign the paperwork 3x because they kept screwing it up. They took our email at the time and said they would send us notices and coupons about an oil change, never got them. Had the oil changed elsewhere. Had to take it back in because the headliner on the sun roof needed to be replaced for around $900.witch we were fine with seen the car was used. But now we went in to price and set up appointments for a new head light to be quoted just under $400.00 for one. But seen its a part that the dealer has to change, thank you Ford, we made the appointments. Waiting to take it in to have the work done we called 2 other Ford dealerships and for the same head light we quoted just under $200. So we called back to talk to the service department, the man that helped us first was off and the other guys didn't or couldn't help so a message was left for the original guy to call. He has not called back. Not impressed with the service department, over priced and don't return calls. Therefore we have made an appointment at another dealership seen we need the headlight and we can't change it ourselves. Would not recommend this dealership read more

We've had one good experience and three horrible ones with Horne Ford. I hope l never have to step foot that dealership again. Wife and I Decided to go to Robert Horne ford to look at a used Toyota I saw on the dealership website. We were greeted by "Boston Joe" Coombs who was our salesman and right from the start he was informative, helpful, courteous and most importantly honest. We negotiate and decide to buy the car. 2. Get a call from the dealership the next day after buying the car. They say they had written the sales contract incorrectly and needed me to come back to re-sign. I come in and re-sign the contract in about 15 minutes. 3. Get a call from the dealership two weeks after buying the car. They say they didn't smog the car prior to selling it to me and could not file the MVD paperwork until I come in. I come in and wait two hours so they can go get it smogged which legally they were required to have completed prior to selling me the vehicle. After these two problems I speak with the manager and he agrees to give me a complimentary oil change and detail voucher. 4. I make an appointment on the Horne website for the "Quick Lane TM" oil change and detail. I go in for the appointment and wait 2.5 hours. After waiting that long I decided to walk up to Joshua Wilson the Service Advisor to request an update. He stated that the oil change was complete and now "it's in the detail shop". I sat back down and waited another half an hour. After 3 hours the car pulled up and I walked back up to Joshua. He told me that the detail shop was backed up and was unable to clean my car. He also explained that even though I made an appointment online for the detail I was expected to call to make an appointment to get a detail. He stated an advisor would call me in the next couple of days to set up an appointment. No one ever called to reschedule but even if they do I'm not going back to Horne. They can keep the free detail. read more

I have had nothing but issues since I purchased my vehicle at Robert Horne Ford in Apache Junction. I am not sure the vehicle was even prepared for sale at the time I purchased it. When test driving it, it was filthy on the inside, like they had just got the vehicle. It took them hours to clean the car before I drove it off the lot. Within a few days of having the vehicle, I noticed SEVERAL issues with it. The vibrating of the steering wheel, windshield wiper fluid not pumping, blinker light was out. When I contacted the dealership I was told there was no return policy and to use my extended warranty to have repairs done. Shouldn't the vehicle have been checked for problems before it was sold? Next was the issue with getting the registration and license plate from them. I was given a temporary plate for one month. After that one month was up, I received an email from the dealership saying they had "lost" the emissions test proof and could I take the vehicle in for emissions or bring it back to the dealership so they could have that done. Why did it take over a month to realize that paperwork had been "misplaced"? I finally got the new plate and tags almost two months after I bought the vehicle. And finally, the most recent and most annoying problem with this dealership...I made an appointment with their service department to have all of the issues checked out and repaired. My appointment was on a Wednesday morning. When dropping the vehicle off I was told I would receive a call the following afternoon with a status on the diagnostics and warranty coverage. By Friday afternoon I had still not received a call. I called them and was told diagnostics had not been run on the vehicle because it is a Kia and they are a Ford dealership. What? First of all, the issues with the vehicle are simple: brakes, alignment, blinker light, and possibly a hose for the windshield wiper fluid. Basic repairs, nothing major. Are these not issues that anyone could find answers to on google? Second, why would you sell an extended warranty for repairs if you can not do repairs on a Kia? I asked how long before the vehicle would be diagnosed and was told "I don't know." What again? I was then told that I would get a call back from the service guy. This was Friday afternoon. By Saturday afternoon, I again had to call them. I was told the "Service guy" was off that day. I was not called ONE TIME for a status on my vehicle. I finally went and picked it up, nothing had been done to it, in three days. I have never had such a HORRIBLE experience with such incompetent people. Do not buy a vehicle here! You will regret it. read more

I scheduled an oil change for my recently purchased Ford F-250 diesel online and used my VIN so the vehicle information was included in the appointment. I was about ten minutes late and when I pulled in, the service Drive was blocked on both sides by cars going opposition directions. I parked in a near parking spot and checked in with my service advisor, Adam Lebowitz who was automatically assigned. I told him my name and apparently the system pulled in the previous owner's info so we got that straightened out. Once Adam was ready to see the truck, he asked where it was and I pointed to the space. He handed me my keys back and asked me to pull it in the service drive...about 20 yards closer. I did and apparently pulled in the wrong direction. When I walked back toward the door, he was coming out and said "oh, you parked there? Looks like you're ready to leave. I will take care of it for you" with a patronizing tone. I told him that I had no idea what was going on because there are cars parked everywhere out there. He pulled the truck around and we went inside. Being my first diesel, I had a few questions about why the service was more expensive and took longer. Mostly for my education. He answered my questions with an err of arrogance and talked to me like I was incompetent and dumb. It was nothing egregious, just obvious and made me feel like I was bothering him. I brought my truck to the nearest Ford dealership to ensure it was cared for by Ford certified techs but In That moment, I decided I would not be back. The fuel filters were due and I told him not to do it. While I sat in the lobby, I found a new service company I will be taking the truck to for now on, starting with the fuel filters. There is a service advisor there named Daniel who is a stud. If you must take your truck here, see Daniel. He is the kind of person you want caring for your vehicles. For me, I dropped $140 on an over-priced oil change only to walk away feeling like I don't want to come back. I don't mind over-paying if I feel like myself and my vehicle are being well cared for. This wasn't my experience and I'll take my money elsewhere. read more

I've been going to this auto shop for several years, and am now looking for a new auto repair shop. My last several times at Robert Horne Ford were not good experiences. With my Ford Fusion, they wanted to sell me a $500 part that I thought could be fixed a lot cheaper. I took my car to another shop and they fixed it with a screw and didn't charge me. BIG difference in service. Next time going to Robert Horne Ford was for my SUV to get an oil change with what they call "The Works" pkg - Oil change, tire rotation, check fluids. They told me my lug nuts were swollen, so they couldn't rotate my tires. I had a dealership tell me that once before, and went to another shop that had no problem getting them off. The service advisor did not adjust my bill for not being able to rotate my tires. I didn't get the entire "Works" pkg, but they billed me for it. I have tried calling the service dept back 3 times within a week, and no advisor is available to answer my call. Left a message, and still no one called me. I am definitely not interested in this kind of service. read more
