I just purchased my first Ford through Horne Ford. The Truck is amazing and I am very happy with my truck. The sales man was very nice and took the time to help me find the right truck for my needs. However the day I drove off the lot started the next 2 months of hell with Horne Ford. I worked with the finance manager Brian from the start, he called me a few days later to request additional paperwork for my finance approval. It was not a big deal and I dropped of what they needed a few days later. 2 weeks later Brian called to advise they needed more paperwork and he stated I was dragging my feet! Really? Of course this upset me due to I dropped off what was already needed and it ended with Brian yelling at me over the phone, great customer service right? 3 weeks later a guy called to advise I need to pay my deposit when I already put money down, then he asked me then what do we need from you? (He was the one calling me)!! As time passed they still did not have me approved and my previous trade in still was not paid off and it hit my credit because I was late. However Horne Ford was not letting me know what was going on and I assumed they paid it off! They also had my trade in on the lot already for sale!! I was still responsible for the payments however they could already try to sell it..... So I have been working with my previous finance company to help this not impact my credit, all I needed was a letter from Horne ugh! Well as you could predict I will no longer be working with Brian because he only knows how to be a bully and I do not like to be talked down to he is a scumb bag! So I talked to an sales manager Ken Gluck (they would not let me talk to Brian's manager Steve GM). Ken spoke to me right in front of other people on the floor and he knew I was upset with the way I was treated and he did not handle the situation professional at all of you ask me. He told me he would send an letter to my previous finance company to get this removed from my credit due to it was truly their mistake. Of course he did not follow through what a shocker huh? I started this journey the end of February and here we are the end of April and I can say with relief my truck was finally approved, wait it doesn't stop there! After I found out I was approved I got my first bill in the mail just a few days later, and I was already 10 days late! I was just told it would be due 30 to 45 days after it was approved!! So I am still paying on my previous truck 3 payments now and I have a bill for my new truck when they still haven't paid off my previous trade in, and get this I just learned that they sold my trade in already, how is that possible?!? I called Ford financing due to Horne Ford was no help at all they called the finance company to see if they could push back the due date and they said I had to call to follow up! I called and they knew nothing about what had happened, they were advised by Horne Ford that I just wanted to push back my payment with no explanation! I am happy to say Ford financing did work with me and push back my due date until my trade in will be fully paid off however I can let you know I will no longer be doing business with Horne Ford and I would not recommend them at all. Make sure you do your research first and check out Yelp they have several reviews there as well! They Finance department should be someone you can trust when you are making a larger purchase and at Horne Ford they are just scumb bags and do not know anything about customer service! I would highly recommend San Tan Ford or any other Ford dealers! read more

HEED THIS WARNING : **WORST DEALER IN THE VALLEY FOR SERVICE ** Deserving of NO stars. I've hesitated on writing a review for this dealership while they have had my vehicle so far for a total of 42 days and STILL have it, But I'm hoping that this can help EVERYONE and ANYONE to STEER CLEAR of the circus act this dealership is. I dropped my 2018 Ford Platinum F150 diesel off to this dealership on 1/20/20 for an appointment for a noise I was hearing at startup. The first issue was I called ahead for to make sure of a loaner car and was told no problem, I could get one. When I dropped the truck off, I was told no loaner. I had to ask for the service manager to explain how being told one thing and having another thing happen is an inconvenience to someone. He made it right and got me a car. I'm a pretty patient person but then 2 weeks went by with absolutely no contact whatsoever from the dealer, I decided to call. I called the dealer 4 times over the next 3 days just to get the service advisor on the phone. At that point I was told, They had found metal shavings / contamination in the oil and the truck would be getting a new motor under warranty (25,000 miles) No clear information on when the truck would be back in my hands but was told they were in the process of disassembling the top portion of the motor down to document where the failure occurred so that ford would approve the warranty. Another 2 weeks go by, no emails, no calls, nothing. I call and cannot get anyone no the phone to give me a straight answer. At this point I drove to the dealership to find out what was really going on. At this point I'm told that the truck was not getting a new motor, and just a new rocker arm assembly. Upon hearing this I asked to see the truck. besides the fact that it had been sitting outside for 4 weeks with the wheels off and the hood up sitting on a 2 post lift, it was just sitting there. Nothing was even disassembled. I was curious to know how they determined the course of action without looking inside as they stated they were doing. The mechanic advised me on his speculation and why he felt the route he chose was the best and most efficient. Last week, I was called in to swap out rentals and was told the truck was going back together and I would have it by Friday the latest. I basically have to beg for information and hope that what I'm being told at this point is not a bold faced lie.. Well... Today 3/29/ 20, I STILL do not have my truck back. The communication skills of the service staff here is worse than that of an infant. My advice to anyone in the east valley is to steer clear of this place and bring your service work elsewhere. There is absolutely no consideration of the customer convenance factor involved, I live 2.8 miles from this place and would gladly drive ( if I had my truck back ) anywhere else to not deal with the headache associated with them. read more

If there were more stars I could give, trust me I would. I spoke to Shannon over the phone, after being stressed out over a horrible situation at another dealership, and she invited me down to see what she could do. We came down, was greeted with a warm smile, and a friendly demeanor. We were invited in, asked if we needed some water, and sat down to talk to Shannon. She heard the entire situation, then she said with confidence, "I believe there is something we can do for you, let me get some information." She took our information, took it back to Ray, who I will speak about in a second, and came back asking if we were okay getting into a Ford Focus. I said that would be great, and she went back again to start working on our information. After a few minutes she came back, told us straight and honestly, that things are looking good, but she and Ray needed some time to work on getting us into a car and that she would call us the next day. Well when we got home, ten minutes later we received a phone call from Shannon, stating that we were all finished and to come and get our new car. We were absolutely amazed and surprised, not to mention excited. We arrived at the dealership and sure enough, her and Ray worked our deal so quickly, that we were signing paperwork that exact same night with NO MONEY DOWN, which was absolutely amazing! After signing paperwork, we were given the keys, and left with a brand new Ford Focus. All in all, we were in and out in only two hours ... AMAZING! We have been driving the car for a couple of days and absolutely love it. It's exactly what we were looking for. After the sale, Shannon took us around to service and we met the people there, and they even gave us a free voucher for shuttle service when we have our first maintenance. Ray, who worked our deal, and worked it like a champ along with Shannon were not only very warm and friendly, but they treated us like family, which is something very rare anymore at any business. The way they worked our deal through and walked us through every step of the way is something rare when it comes to buying a car. I HIGHLY recommend going to this dealership for an interstellar experience when you go to buy your new car. Not only will you get great customer service, you will get honesty and a feeling of family. Thank you Horne Ford, for everything. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the experience I had at Robert Horne Ford regarding my 2024 Mustang GT, which I purchased brand new from your dealership in June 2024. The vehicle currently has only 2,700 miles on it, so I take great pride in maintaining and caring for it properly. To witness one of your employees perform a burnout in my vehicle because he apparently could not properly drive a manual transmission was completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. What made the situation even worse was the reaction afterward -- instead of taking the matter seriously, employees laughed when I addressed my concerns. As a paying customer who trusted your dealership with my vehicle, that level of disrespect is incredibly frustrating. When I entered my car afterward, I also discovered that my custom $500 seat covers had been removed from my leather seats without my permission and left off entirely. Again, this demonstrated a complete lack of care and respect for both my property and me as a customer. What is most disappointing is that I have had positive experiences with Robert Horne Ford in the past, which is why this situation is so shocking. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed my opinion of the dealership. The employees tending the lot appeared careless, immature, and unconcerned with customer vehicles, giving the impression that they are simply there for a paycheck rather than taking pride in their work or respecting customers' property. As a result of this incident, you have lost not only my future business, but also my wife's, as she was planning to trade in her vehicle with your dealership soon. I expected significantly better treatment and professionalism from a dealership representing the Ford brand. I hope management takes this matter seriously and addresses the conduct and accountability of the employees involved so no other customer has to experience this level of disrespect. read more

My wife and I have been in the market for a new car and a new truck. We stopped by Horne Ford a few weeks ago and we really liked a very nice Ford Explorer Limited and a nice F250 Super Duty truck for me. But we were not quite ready to purchase at that moment, so we left and prayed those vehicles would be there in a couple of weeks. When we decided to purchase the vehicle for my wife first, we went over numbers with them. We got to a number we thought was good and final and then they started adding to the number! After feeling like they had played games with the numbers, we didn't do the deal!! We ended up leaving and buying a very nice Volvo from a nice dealership Courtesy Volvo in Scottsdale. We are very happy with them!! A couple of weeks later we went back to Horne Ford and discovered the truck I liked was still there, wow what luck. So we started working on the numbers trying to get to the best deal we could. After a little time, I finally decided to do the deal with the truck and the truck was still there. I text the sales guy and asked him to send me the credit application and I would fill it out and send it in. I tried to do it that same night but for some reason it just couldn't upload to the system. So the next morning the sales guy said they didn't have the application so I did it again and it did go through this time. Then he got it, and ran my credit. BUT then he called me AFTER Running the credit and he said the credit was fine, but we have a LITTLE PROBLEM!! He then tells me that the truck was ALREADY sold yesterday !!!!! Then why the hell did he run my credit??? Needless to say that killed us from ever doing business with Horne Ford then or in the future. I had to go and find a good dealership that I could trust and had a truck that I would want to buy. I did just that at Auto Nation Ford in Scottsdale. Thanks Auto Nation for helping me do a great and honest deal and no games!!! read more

Really disappointed in the experience with Robert Horne Ford. My wife and I wanted to look and see if we could take advantage of the financing options Ford is having due to Covid-19. We have been Ford customers for 5 years now, bought 4 cars, had 3 loans (through Ford) and never missed a payment. We worked with "Tee", the Internet sales manager and let him know our credit wasn't great, but we have never missed a payment with Ford. He brought us in, ran our credit, and then lectured us on what horrible decisions we made in trying to resolve our credit issues, and said Ford would only continue to work with us, if we put an enormous amount of money down. My wife and I decided we didn't need a car and went on our way. A month later, our friends at Folsom Lake Ford reached out asking if we wanted to trade my 2017 Mustang in for a new one, no money down, 0% interest. We let them know what happened with Robert Horne Ford, so we knew it wouldn't work. 24 hours later, Shane at Folsom Lake Ford let us know due to our outstanding relationship with Ford, Ford approved us for the same deal "Tee" at Robert Horne Ford said we didn't qualify for. I don't know what the issue was with "Tee", but we are grateful you turned us down, so we can take our business to our friends at Folsom Lake Ford, where they don't prejudge your circumstances and decide you aren't worth working with. We will always be Ford customers, but we will never buy from Robert Horne Ford. Don't go here unless your credit is immaculate, or you will get a stern talking to from "Tee" about the "things you have done" and how "nobody will work with you, with that credit score". read more

We give Robert Horne Ford, Apache Junction, AZ one star out of five. We had completely unacceptable service for a big price. We made an appointment to bring our motor home in to install the heater core and to replace the bearings in the rear differential and replace the carrier, ring and pinion. The charges were exorbitant! Our motor home was in the shop for 33 days!! During this time, the communication was very poor and we initiated most of the phone calls. We heard a long list of excuses and lies about why it took so long. We paid the bill and chalked this experience up to a lesson learned. This is not the end of the story. While driving the motor home back to the lot we noticed there is still a hum in the rear end. Then, we found black fingerprints along the white exterior wall. Then, inside, we found the toilet stool full of poop!! We immediately called the service manager who said the toilet must have backed up while they were working on it because they jacked the rear end up four feet high. Apparently they did not have the right lift available. We know for a fact that we flushed the tank before bringing it to the shop. He did say, "we should have pumped it out, but had no way to do that". That is strange since he said they took the motor home out twice for a test drive. We are senior citizens and we aren't naive. We feel taken advantage of and mistreated by Robert Horne Ford and Ford Fleet and Ford Motorhome Customer Assistance. We do not recommend using Robert Horne Ford for service on your Ford vehicles. read more

When I brought my Ford Escape in for a simple oil change at my proper appt. time a young man greeted me promptly and asked for some basic information. He then directed me to the waiting room where fresh coffee and donuts were available. I had some phone business to tend to so I proceeded to do just that. After a while, I realized that I had been there an hour and apparently my car wasn't ready yet. So i walked to the service desk and noticed out the window that my car was still sitting in the same place i had parked it in the service area an hour earlier. I questioned the service writer and he apologized to me saying that they were short handed that day. One more hour later the car was finished. 2 hours for a simple oil change i could have done in my driveway in 15 minutes. I told the service writer that i understand that sometimes workers call in sick or whatever and this causes a backup of services. I also said that I should have been told this at the beginning and been given an alternative appointment had i wanted one. After now reading some of the reviews listed for Horne Ford including my own experience, i will not be going back there for any service to my vehicle. I've owned Fords for a long time and have used Berge Ford in the past. I like them and will likely return there with my new Escape for service. Horne had better figure out quickly that poor service echoes into poor sales. Well they lost me as a repeat buyer. Doug R. read more

Car was under warranty and stated the diagnosis would be free if they found nothing. WRONG, still got charged. Went in for a oil change ($90, for a oil change.....I almost started laughing right there), ended up with an entire undercarriage cover in oil because the mechanic was too lazy to take off the filter properly and then clean up his mess. Asked to check out very loud and distinct noise of clicking when the window rolled down (Sounded as if my window was hitting something) "Yeah so we took a stethoscope to your door and heard nothing." oh yea? Sorry to tell you this buddy but it still clicked, and you don't need a stethoscope to hear it (I work in the medical field, seriously dude you're not fooling me. Do you even have a stethoscope back there?) so they clearly didn't want to pay warranty for it... The worst part of all of this was they told me a couple hours. It took all day, for very simple things mind you. Almost certain they took my car out for a joy ride, came back to find it covered in brake dust that clearly wasn't there before. I can't prove it but the excuses they made so that I couldn't go back there and get my car were all junk that you could tell were excuses. Please, stay away form this dealership if you enjoy your car or want it to last. read more

I purchased a Fusion at Robert Horne. At 30K the engine blew. The car was under warranty, but the service department at Robert Horne refused to fix the car under warranty. Every person I dealt with was rude, unprofessional and dishonest, including "Honest Scott". I contacted Ford, but their off-shore flunkies kept me on hold while they "reviewed my file" and then told me that they would not help me. The second time I asked to speak to a supervisor, and I was promised that I would be called but it didn't happen. Then, to add insult to injury, the general manager of Robert Horne sent me a letter asking me to rate their service department as excellent to Ford, so I contacted him and told him what happened. He did not even bother to reply. But I will guarantee that they will refute everything I said in this review. Ironic that they can't do the right thing for a customer- my husband bought Fords for 60 years - but they will try to convince the public that they are the greatest place to buy a car. read more

They try to sell you things you don't need. When we bought the pickup in 2015 we were tired after shopping all day. We decided to buy this particular vehicle, but wanted to do it the next day. We had decided on a price with John Barron, a salesman at the time. The business manager was not going to be in the next day and insisted that we complete the sales papers that night. We were very hungry as it was after 8:00 pm and we hadn't eaten since morning, but we stayed. The manager kept adding things on to the total price until the actual price was over 10,000 dollars higher than we had agreed on. In our stupor state, we signed. I've been back many times to go over things with them and after almost 2 years, nothing has changed. We've also had the "thing" back multiple times for a repair that needed to be done before it was ever sold to us. We finally had to bring a Regional Ford Rep in to help us get the job done and the BBB. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!! read more

Although I have yet to buy a car from this dealership I definitely will be the next time I need a car! I recently purchased a 2014 Ford Mustang GT from Superstition Springs Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram after two days of having it I realized the speaker was blown out they would not fix it and told me I had to take it to Ford. Ford offers a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty which I qualified for even though I was the second owner of the car. I was extremely pleased with this service by Ford and was helped by Jen and Matt who were both extremely nice! After that I came in to get the oil change there instead of going to the original dealership I purchased it from and they were all super nice once again I was helped by Tyler this time and I must say they are all so polite, professional, helpful and my service was done very quickly! Will definitely be coming back here! read more

I had a great buying experience here. I contacted the dealership letting them know what I was looking for and asked for a quote out the door on a new 2018 F-150. The price they quoted me was a good amount better than other dealerships I called. I was worried that when I actually went to buy that there would be additional things "come up" to increase the price. But I was pleasantly surprised that everything went exactly as we agreed on. No surprises, and no price increase! I first contacted Mike Goodman and he was very responsive and got me in contact with Bobby Spinks when he was out for the day. Bobby was there to provide the final delivery of my vehicle. He was great, very helpful, and enjoyable to be around. All the staff treated me great from the start to the finish. I am very happy with my experience with Robert Horne Ford! Thanks for everything! read more

The Ford fiesta is the worst car I've ever owned. It has never run properly. I hope it lasts until I get it paid off. There have been issues with transmission from beginning so I have taken this car in several times in past few years. Whenever I take it in and am asked what the problem is, I get a long winded explanation as to why I am wrong. Then mechanic comes back and tells me pretty much what I told him to begin with. I am currently waiting for a transmission part that is on a three week back order. I have to hope that the car doesn't fall apart while I am waiting. When part comes in, I will have to argue with them to try to get rental car paid for. If it were something I did that caused problem, then I wouldn't ask for a rental. The only thing I did wrong was trust a car dealership to have reliable vehicles for sale. read more

I am pleased to let the social media world know that Robert Horne Ford was not and is not at all closely related to the 1 star and 0 star reviews. I see that Robert Horne Ford had a total of 14 reviews on Yelp for the longest time. I am happy to say that my experience was ONLY POSITIVE working with Louie Belitsos in the Internet Department. Louie is an exceptional Sales Professional who knows how to treat customers! He treated me as a real human being who can make decisions all on my own. I did not get treated like some other car dealerships have where it was inferred that I might need to get a male to help me make a purchasing decision. Louie treated me with respect and courtesy. He minimized the "back and forth" negotiations and I am in a beautiful new Convertible Mustang soaking up the fantastic Arizona sunshine! read more

Best car buying experience I've ever had! Will, the internet manager, was my salesman. He was patient, knowledgeable, and very attentive. Sold me what I WANTED TO BUY, not what HE wanted to sell me.Very different than any other car shopping experience I've had. My new Fusion ecoboost rocks! Also, financing wasn't where I wanted it initially, and these guys worked every creative angle to land me favorable numbers. This is not coming from a naive or inexperienced buyer either. Some dealers will make you think your bad deal was actually hard to find, but the guys at Horne realistically found the best possible scenario for me! I cannot wait to have a friend or relative visit Horne Ford on my recommendation, because they are going to be very happy that they talked to me. read more

I have owned several Fords over the years and have visited at least five different dealership service departments in the Valley. Horne Ford is by far the best I have encountered. Take your Ford over to Horne. They are right by the 60 freeway. Horne 's service department gets you in and out efficiently. No hassle - no hustle. The time it takes to drive out to Horne will be WAY less than the time you'll spend waiting for service at a big in town dealership. Horne is the perfect size, big enough to have what you need yet still small enough to treat ya like a neighbor. Horne completed my major repairs in under three days at a time the big dealership where I bought my Ford was scheduling simple oil changes three weeks out. read more

My wife a I bought a 2018 Ford Escape with the assistance of Kevin Hort. I called the dealership to see to Escapes they had and Kevin answered. He immediately made the experience enjoyable. He was prepared when we got there. He had keys ready and knew exactly where the cars were. He did not waste our time and amswered all our questions. He was very knowledgeable about the Escape. He spent 40 minutes explaining all the new electronics. He set up my wife's phone with Ford Pass and synced her phone for music and navigation. She really appreciated his customer service and put her at ease. The finance department was efficient and not pushy. Great experience. Ask for Kevin Hort for a knowledgeable and pleasant sales person. read more
