Thank you for gracing our area with another delicious food offering! We ordered online as we wrapped up shopping across the street at Costco, and got a text with a 3-minute warning via text that our food was about to be ready. I loved that - we knew exactly when we should get ready to pick up our food. We got into the car, and decided that there was no better time to eat it than right then and there. We got one honey butter with spice level hot, and one OG Nashville with spice level hot - and their rooster dipping sauce on the side. They were both hot in temperature and perfectly hot in spice! Hot enough to make our mouths burn a little, but not too hot that it feels like you need to immediately evacuate your bowels. The honey butter, like other reviewers commented, melts into the sandwich and makes a greasy (but delicious) mess. The cheese lends a nice texture and saltiness to the sweet buttery flavor. I took a few bites without the dipping sauce to appreciate the myriad of flavors, and then dumped the sauce over the next few bites. EVERY bite was delicious! The OG Nashville was even BETTER! It comes loaded with more "stuff" in the sandwich, like pickles and jalapeños. The flavor is so good, and the toppings cut through and give a different crunch/texture. We devoured both sandwiches and let out a "hmph! That was good!! I'd come back!!" Good thing we're on the same page with this one. It's in a shopping center where a few other restaurants haven't made it, so we're hoping they stick around! When I first walked in and up to the counter to order there were five guys standing back in the kitchen. It seemed like no one wanted to come out and take my order. Have to talking to each other for a few minutes when decided to come out and take my order. There was only one other couple in the restaurant besides me. It took a long while for our order to be ready...we were told "wings take longer." Finally get it. Looks good. Boys were not impressed with their sandwiches, but I actually liked my Wings, although I think they made mine hot because it was fire! We all liked the Fries. Hubby and I decided to try Roaming Rooster for dinner tonight and we were not disappointed!! Generous portions. Wings, crispy and juicy, and they're full size wings (not like little buffalo wings). Very flavorful and NOT GREASY!! We eat very spicy. Habaneros, ghost, jalapeños, Thai chiles... we love spicy and this place delivers on the heat and flavor. We got the Buffalo and the Club with Hot level of spicy. The thick cut of bacon in the Club just made it even better. The Hot level is great. Note that it is a CUMULATIVE spice. We initially thought that the heat was weak for a "Hot", but by the time we were done, we were sniffly and sweatin! Highly recommend! Manager was super nice too. I love the sandwiches here so much, I usually get a honey butter sandwich and it's a great meal. I especially love how you can customize the spice level you would like, some days i want something really spicy and some days I don't. Also, I only have to buy one sandwich because it fills me up so much and one sandwich is $10. I personally find that a steal. However, some of the sides are a little overpriced but for the quality of food and how great the food tastes in my opinion I would get them as well. This location itself is also a great spot. The customer service is good, the food sometimes takes a while to come out, but other than that everything else is great. Was pleasantly surprised when I was picking up some Potbelly to find that this location had finally opened. Even with subs in hand from next door, I had to try Roaming Rooster. I had gone to one of their DC locations before and remembered liking it. The place is small but looked nice. Ordering was easy and the staff was kind. Food came out in about 5 minutes. Got the hottest OG Nashville and to be honest it was rather boring. The slaw and pickles didn't add much taste and the lack of any kind of sauce to punch it up was also curious. The chicken was fried fine but wasn't juicy (nor was it dry). And given that it was the hottest level, it definitely didn't bring enough heat. I ate half and told my wife that it's fine but I have no plans to get this sandwich ever again. Maybe I'll try their honey butter sando in the future but that won't satisfy my hot chicken cravings. It's really unfortunate that the closest Nashville chicken to me is easily my least favorite. If you're in the area I would say make the drive to Hangry or Wooboi. But if you want the best and don't mind driving to Arlington, hit up Hot Lola's (I love you Lola's!) read more

This restaurant made me actually download this app and leave a review because it was so good. I went into the store and there was an employee already cleaning the area I was about to sit in. The place was very clean and the customer service was top tier. The employees were very sweet and had such an awesome attitude. On top of all of that, I was the most happy when I was told that this place was halal, since I'm muslim it's hard to find halal places nearby and i'm glad I found this one. It may be a tad pricey but it's worth it because I truly haven't tasted cleaner and better and JUCIER food in a whileee. I would definitely go again and I would definitely say check it out! read more
