Went to the Ashburn location and we were so pleased with the service and the burgers & fries were delicious. We were expecting the same here but was very disappointed. Why? My son orders a double charburger with cheese and then follows up and says 'make that a double charburger meal #2'. I order a charburger meal #1. When the wife reviews the receipt my son's order is broken out separately with individual charges for the burger, onion ring/fries combo, and drink so we end up paying more for his meal. The wife goes to the counter to ask why it was split out and we're told that's the way it is. Hmmm. Not sure why but it looks like we were overcharged. The wife doesn't want to argue about it so we get our food and eat. So, after this first mishap, we bite into the burgers and they aren't horrible but it seems like the patties were on the grill for a while and a bit on the dry side. Not as good as our first trip to the Ashburn location so disappointed again. Lesson learned- 1.Make sure they don't break things out and overcharge you here. If you order a meal deal it should be the meal deal price in the menu 2. This was a to-go order and it did take about 25 minutes before our order was ready. I tend to have lower expectations for fast food so I did give this experience a 4/5 overall. The place was pretty busy which explains the wait, but the interior felt lively with some decent music playing. The burgers were good, even the rest of my family was surprised, but they also probably had low expectations as well. The extra-crispy fries are the way to go. I enjoy a crispy exterior and a softer, airy interior. The green beans were also good. The shakes could have been better. Smash burger shakes are better, but I know that they use Haagen-Daz ice cream in their shakes. It was a little pricier than I would have liked, but I was satisfied with the food and in the store, they offer jalapenos, banana peppers, and other add-ons that improved the taste of the burger. I don't know many burger places that give those out for free. A lot of places charge an extra couple of dollars for a few jalapenos slices so it was another pleasant surprise when I saw that. This place is so good for a fast-food chain. I'm not sure why so many people are hard on this place... it's much better than Burger King or Wendy's etc. my char burger tastes fresh every time. Would I say this is the best burger in the area? I wouldn't go that far. But! I did just try the Santa Barbara Char which had toasted sourdough bread stuffed with a cheesy burger, mayo and avocado. I removed the tomatoes and added bacon... yo this might be my new favorite thing. I'd possibly rate this place a 4 since my favorite fast-food burger is Shake Shack, but the manager at this location is always super polite and even offers us water if we ordered a solo burger. I ordered a regular single patty cheeseburger and Parmesan garlic fries. My husband got the same cheeseburger but with plain fries. I took one bite of my food and couldn't finish it because I found it to be overly greasy, with not so fresh ingredients and a lack of flavor. The French fries weren't great either. The Parmesan cheese seemed to be scarce and other than the cheese, they had no flavor to speak of. This was my 1st time trying this place. The cashier was so nice, polite, and offered suggestions. This establishment is small however there is space to dine outside. The sourdough bread for my sandwich was burnt. I could taste the singe on the bread. It overpowered the other flavors. I think if that hadn't happened, the sandwich would have been better than good. However, we have had a concerning experience tonight upon ordering it, that I felt made it necessary to write this review in the hopes that Habit will see this and make sure to keep their standards as high as always! We ordered through UberEats, and got a children's hamburger meal, all of which was excellent, and a coffee shake, which was amazing as well!! Unfortunately, the Santa Barbara Char my husband ordered was greatly disappointing. He ordered it well-done, and not only was it not well-done, but it was completely raw throughout the middle, as if it had only been seared on the outside, yet not cooked through. Given this was ground beef, that was greatly concerning to us. He had a few bites before realizing this, and said it was otherwise made well, but ground beef needs to be cooked!! My family loves Habit Burger. We came here regularly until about a month ago. We noticed that the last 2 times (2 weeks in a row) when we didn't give 20+% tips then they conveniently forgot our fries (we still gave the standard 15% tips though). Both times, we had to go back and tell them. The guy at the cashier didn't want to make eye contact with us both times and it just felt like he knew what he did. After that, we couldn't go back because we were worried what else would they do to our food next time. I don't fault the store but the employee himself. It's really a shame, because we go to Wegmans weekly and we see Habit weekly and we would look at each other wanting their food. We just can't go back there. I hope the business manager can do something about this and let the employees know that tips are optional, the amount of tips should not determine the level of service & food quality we get. read more

The burger was good! The patty was juicy and the fresh ingredients paired very well with each other. The burger size was nicely sized as well, not too big or small. It'll definitely fill you up with a side pairing. The onion rings were good and crispy, but it was on the saltier side. I saw a ton of salt crumbs at the bottom of my onion ring tray. The Service: The service was good! The staff took my order and got it out in a timely manner. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well. Overall a 4/5! You need everything on the impossible burger (mayo lettuce tomato pickles). Grilled chicken sandwich was good too, but the bottom bun got soggy before I even sat down. Chicken was seasoned well and not dry. I liked it better with avo and will get pickles on it next time. I asked for the teriyaki and bbq sauce on the side just to try. I'm glad I got the chicken burger plain without sauces. I didn't like teriyaki at all (too sweet). My favorite chicken burger is still the California chicken remove bacon at Red Robin. I won't get the nuggets again- the breading was too thick and it reminded me of grocery store frozen chicken bites. You have to ask for honey mustard (they call it sweet mustard). In between the fountain drinks and register, there's a little station with pickles jalapeños, banana pepper rings, and pepperochinos. There are also packets of A1 and cholula. I love that! Even though it's called Habit Burger, I come here for their salads! I get their bbq chicken salad and it's delicious. I don't even like avocados but the salad is so good that I add it anyway and it still tastes good in the salad. I do curbside pickup. When you place the order online it asks all of the questions needed for someone to bring you your food. The staff was masked and my food was hot and fresh. They make real bbq chicken in the salad and you get a salad dressing if your choosing to go with it. Their service is fast and they give you a good portion for the amount that you pay. read more

This isn't a review for a "gourmet" burger place. To be quite frank, it's a franchise business so don't expect some wagyu-beef-type-of-quality at a $4 price point. Now that that's settled... If you're looking for a solid burger with solid fries/onion rings, it's worth checking out Habit Burger. Their ingredients are always fresh and I always love that the lettuce is always so crisp and fresh (because sad lettuce makes for a sad burger). I always default to their charburger with cheese so if I'm craving a good cheeseburger, Habit Grill is my place to go. It took a few "customizations" to figure out how I liked getting my burger and fries done so customize your burger to how you like it. I personally have never had a problem with any of my orders in all the times I have visited, but it seems like they would reasonably remake any wrong orders. Sometimes the cashier seems like a young high schooler or college student so I don't always expect Michelin star service, but I've always experienced relatively decent service (and everyone has a learning curve, don't they?) The tables outside were spaced apart to allow physical distancing. Ordering online is super easy and you can either choose to get curbside pick up or to-go. My only gripe was that there were little papers noting that the tables were sanitized but it didn't really seem like that was the case at the table we sat at. But it wasn't a huge deal since we brought our own wipes anyway. Five stars because there's nothing I would really change about this franchise burger joint. Decent fast food at a decent price point? What's there to complain about. And always get a side of ranch to dip your fries in. Your tastebuds will thank you. read more

The food here is usually pretty good; however, I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich during today's visit. After waiting for my order to be completed, staff informed me that they were out of coleslaw. I accepted the sandwich anyway to find the chicken was overcooked and very tough to eat. I finished the chicken sandwich and ordered a charburger, hoping it would be better, but I found that the patty was somewhat burned. My friend's burger was also burned-tasting. It seems like they are cooking these for a little too long. I noticed that all the usual staff members who worked at this location were not there, and they were all new folks whom I had never seen before. I'm not sure what happened during today's visit. I am not sure why the rating for this place is not higher. This was my first experience and was nothing short of excellent all around from the online ordering, fast preparation, and the hot and delicious meal. The online website makes it easy to see the entire menu and easy to order. Depending on what you order, everything can be ready in as little as 10 minutes. I wasn't really sure of what I wanted so I do what I usually do and get a little bit of everything :) I went with the bacon cheeseburger, fried chicken sandwich, and a side of fries. The bacon cheeseburger was hot, juicy, and a pretty good size for the price. The fried chicken sandwich was very crispy and well balanced with the fresh vegetables. I just added a little hot sauce for personal preference. Finally, the fries were freshly prepared and crispy with every bite. This might be my regular go to place for a good burger!
