Cheesey garlic bread. We could not wait.

At 5:30pm on a Friday night, my 21yr kid and I drove out to a cool mini free library and kiosk/ farmstand near Toledo and then realized we needed lunch/dinner. As luck would have it, the Hawaiian restaurant was closed, so a second Yelp search led us here. It is a cute little yellow building with a lot of charm. There wasn't anyone else there! That is just sooo wrong! We called in antipasta salad, garlic cheese bread, eggplant parm, sausage lasagna, and the kid grabbed 2 marionberry scones for Saturday breakfast. It was the young lady on the phone's first day and she did great! Everything was well packaged and the hot food was piping hot. The salad was cold and crisp/fresh. We didn't know our pasta came with bread, too. The bread is very good. So.Much.Bread. All the food was delicious and we have tons leftover for a second meal. We enjoyed everything. We drove it back to Newport and ate it at the beach because we needed our Friday dose of Vitamin O. I would totally get food there again. The breadsticks were great, we think that bodes well for their pizza being delicious too and will try that next time! Go try it! It is too good to miss and only 15 min away from Newport!

5 stars all day. From the food to the service and ambiance this place hit the mark. I stopped in while in Toledo for work, and I'm glad I did. I wanted to try the meatball sub since I found out they make their own meatballs, and I believe the bread as well. I also ordered a small Caesar salad as well, which was actually good sized. My salad came out first and the presentation was awesome actually. The dressing came separately in a nice dressing cup and the salad bowl was just full of romaine, parm, and croutons. The dressing was awesome, don't know if it was homemade but it was good. The lettuce was fresh and crisp as well. My sandwich came out and my jaw dropped to the floor, and the nice lady working had to help me pick it back up! It looked awesome! Full of homemade meatballs and marinara and plenty of mozzarella! I took a bite and had to slap myself because I thought I was dreaming! The bread is nice, great texture and chew. The meatballs have plenty of flavor and when you get a bit of everything in one bite they will probably ask you to pipe down because you'll start dancing and and making noises you never thought possible! Get over here and try this locally owned pizza place, and see what all the hype is about.

Delicious! Stopped by on our way home after the Oregon coast aquarium, and it is a hidden gem. Russian owned with salads, delicious toasty hot pizza with lots of toppings, pirogis (!), fresh dressing made in house, a lovely spaced out dine in area, fountain drinks- super yummy. So glad we routed ourselves here and enjoyed their lunch soecipizza on a drizzly rainy day!

We were on our way to camp on a blustery and wet day near Newport, OR., and had a longing for a nice hot dine in pizza.

He suggested we have a sampling taste of the soups of the day before ordering. We settled on two different cups of soup. Then ordered our entrees. One was a basic hamburger plain with just bacon. The person who ordered it said it was the best tasting burger he ever had. I ordered the bouillabaisse that had shrimp. Scallops, crab, and a wonderful piece of Halibut. The sauce was extremely tasty. Another entree sautéed oysters. Everything was outstanding. We don't stop and ordered desserts that our waiter suggested. It was just a fantastic experience.

Upon returning this year, I looked forward to another great meal there. I was surprised to find that Side Bar Cafe has changed quite a bit from what I remembered. In the past the restaurant used only the southern part of the building it's in, with maybe 16 tables, which created a warm and quiet atmosphere suitable for a date night. I was surprised to find that they have expanded to include many more tables and a second bar in the adjoining space, which was formerly rarely used, seemingly only for random entertainment events. This created a busier and noisier environment, which I didn't enjoy as much. The list of food and beverages on the menu is much greater than in that distant past. From what I could tell from one visit the food is just as good as it was, but the place felt more crowded and the service was more rushed due to the volume of guests, and the noise level was definitely higher. I will go again on my next visit to the area, but my fond expectations will have changed.

Everything we ordered was amazing and we just loved it so much. The service was very nice and the place had a feel of eating an amazing dinner at a wealthy Italians house. There was a 2 hour wait but it was worth it. The shop next door was a good little place to walk around and wait. My only complaint was the Aperol Spritz... it tasted very watered down even after we asked for extra Aperol in it. It's okay, we came here for the food and it was amazing.

The eatery sits on Highway 101 so there is limited parking spaces in the back. Upon entering I was greeted with an overwhelming smell of goodness! I was kindly acknowledged and promptly escorted to one of the 16 seats. The decor is a modern take on a classic European bistro with marble tables. The waitress was prompt, knowledgeable and pleasant. The menu was well-curated and distinct. I ordered a margarita and a saltimbocca pizza. Holy cow! This was the BEST pizza I have ever tasted! Additionally, there is an adorable gift shop and waiting space within the restaurant space that offers local fare and specialty gifts. Do yourself a favor and drop in for a salad and pizza. You won't regret it!

We saw a lot of reviews talk about how good the Ramen was so we decided to try it and honestly didn't have very high expectations due to a small town The meal blew us away. The lobster roll was delicious but did wish the lobster pieces had more coating of sauce. When eating the bit with the greens it was delish. The lobster portion was pretty good compared to other rolls we've had. The spicy crab ramen was definitely the star. The broth was spicy and flavorful, but not too spicy, and there was a pretty decent portion of Dungeness crab, which we were surprised because we were expecting a little spec. There was lots of fixing steaks cooked perfectly and lots of noodles. we will definitely stop here every time we come back to Lincoln city now for that Ramen.
