A small town, ol' fashioned bar and good pizza. Pool and pinball for the kids. Their jalapeños popper pizza was delicious.

The service was just as impressive, friendly and attentive without being over the top. The ambiance adds to the experience too, with a clean, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy your meal. Truly best of the best Highly recommend.

As luck would have it, the Hawaiian restaurant was closed, so a second Yelp search led us here. It is a cute little yellow building with a lot of charm. There wasn't anyone else there! That is just sooo wrong! We called in antipasta salad, garlic cheese bread, eggplant parm, sausage lasagna, and the kid grabbed 2 marionberry scones for Saturday breakfast. It was the young lady on the phone's first day and she did great! Everything was well packaged and the hot food was piping hot. The salad was cold and crisp/fresh. We didn't know our pasta came with bread, too. The bread is very good. So.Much.Bread. All the food was delicious and we have tons leftover for a second meal. We enjoyed everything. We drove it back to Newport and ate it at the beach because we needed our Friday dose of Vitamin O. I would totally get food there again. The breadsticks were great, we think that bodes well for their pizza being delicious too and will try that next time! Go try it! It is too good to miss and only 15 min away from Newport!

Their food is phenomenal. The salads are tasty, pizzas are perfect and delicious (the ranch creamy and rich, if you like ranch with your pizza), the cookies have the best texture and sweetness level and the drinks are refreshing and creative! DEFINITELY recommend!!

Typically, we eat seafood while at the beach, but we decided to switch it up with wood-fired pizza and craft cocktails. The restaurant has been beautifully renovated. The wood-fire pizza oven is gorgeous, and the gold-accented octagon tile, antique furniture, and rustic wood floors really warm up the space. The menu is small but offers a great variety of both classic and unique pizza options. We also loved the appetizer and salad selections. My mouth was watering to try the focaccia bread with olive oil, but my husband reminded me I'd already promised him clam chowder elsewhere! Our server was friendly and prompt. Since this is a small space that seats about 20-25 people, a waitline is a common occurrence, yet we never felt rushed. We visited during Happy Hour (3-5 PM), where the Margherita pizzas are only $15--which was perfect for us. We also ordered a Double Oaked Old Fashioned and a gin gimlet. It's so much fun to watch the chefs spinning the dough and sliding pizzas into the oven. Our pizza was delicious and the drinks were tasty. It was a great experience, and we will definitely be back!

Hello! I thought…read moreinitially this would be one of those touristy spots that are overpriced and so-so because of the area, but how wrong was I! Walking in, feels like I'm in a family home. It is a smaller, intimate place. Our server was excited about the menu which was nice. She ordered everything for me basically when I asked for her usuals. Definitely order the espresso martini and Gallo alla Vodka. My wife ordered the fettuccine alfredo and was excited about it so that is a win.

We started with the Focaccia plate with olive oil w/seasonings sprinkled on top. The focaccia was amazing but I really missed the traditional olive oil & basalmic vinegar. With just the oil for dipping, it was pretty blah, IMHO. Hubby ordered the Spaghetti & 3 large Meatballs that were about 2" diameter. I ordered the Creste de Gallo ala Vodka w/sausage. BOTH were delicious but after my first 2 bites, my mouth was on fire. I'm a real wimp when it comes to hot spicy foods :( so it was no one's fault but mine (It would be nice though if they would put little peppers next to the spicier dishes). But once again, Hubby rescued me and made me trade dishes with him. Sorella's is clean, the staff is friendly & efficient. We also like the rustic vibe with artwork reflecting the ocean. But, it is STILL our favorite place in Newport!

I had the black bean quinoa burger and swapped the aioli for their vegan pesto -- absolutely delicious. Paired it with sweet potato fries and a hot tea, and the whole meal was just $21, which felt like a great deal. The waitress was really sweet and attentive, the atmosphere was cute and friendly, and I even had a beautiful view of the ocean and the bay while I ate. If you're a vegan who's okay with the smell of seafood being prepared around you, I'd definitely recommend stopping in. They don't have a ton of vegan options (I noticed a vegan pizza, the burger, and a salad), but honestly I'd come back just for that burger.

The menu stated they had been deemed the #1 chowder in the area, but I was chowdered out so I went with the southern fried chicken sandwhich which was topped with slaw, pickles and a sauce with fries on the side. When it arrived it was not as expected as it had the same batter as cod would for traditional fish n chips - not what i think of when i hear southern friend chicken, but when in rome. It was okay in itself but had entirely too much sauce. I included a Pic of the aftermath, and I promise you that is only what fell from it naturally, I didn't scrap or shake any of it off. But the chicken itself was hearty and cooked perfectly. The toasted bun was soft and paired nicely with it. The fries were okay. We opted for dessert to go, a marionberry crisp. This was very good and I recommend it.
