It was a lazy Saturday night for my husband and I as we just had dinner but wanted a late night snack. We had pizza here before and wanted some more. We ordered a 10" Classic Hawaiian pizza along with a dozen of the garlic rolls to share. I called and placed the order over the phone and was said to come and pick up in 30 minutes. We got there, picked up our pizza exactly on time. We requested some red crusted peppers along with Parmesan cheese and plates. When we got back to our hotel and started eating. The Hawaiian pizza was good, cheesy and filled with ham and pineapple in every bite. The garlic rolls were decent as well. The food alway tastes good here. read more

Second time I've ordered pizza for pick up - it was the same as the first time- DELICIOUS! They do a great job of being kind and patient. Turn around time was awesome - ordered and had the pizza ready within 30 minutes of calling. The store is clean, spacious. Pizza parlor feel for sure. We had the All Meats pizza, garlic knots, boneless wings, traditional wings - all were outstanding. The hot wing sauce is outstanding - not hot - but still great. Got takeout, the restaurant looked okay. Pizza was good and my dad said his grinder was good. I don't know what the girl at the counter was going through but she was kinda rude. Tasty. I like that you can get pizza by the slice, and choose your own toppings. I think they take a slice of already made cheese pizza, then add your toppings and more cheese, fire it in the oven for a bit and voilà-- so you get extra cheese! The crust was not great- a bit over done, but the flavor of cheese, sauce and toppings were great and staff was very nice and helpful. Ok, to those of you that have this pizza joint in your backyard, please know that I am jealous as this place makes a phenomenal pie. GF, and I decided to try out this place after reading some Yelp reviews and we couldn't be more appreciative to those of you that have reviewed this establishment. We ordered their Greek Salad, Garlic knots and pizza pie. They brought our salad and garlic knots out first and we knew that if the salad and garlic knots spoke for their culinary prowess, we were in for a fantastic pie. The salad was fresh and the homemade Ranch dressing is to die for. The garlic knots are rudely delicious especially with a side of marinara to dip them in. The pie was cooked to perfection as we requested well done as I fold my slices and love that crisp break of the pizza bones. I have to head back to Newport to Ossie's Surfshop to pick up a new custom Channel Island surfboard and can't wait to stop here for another amazing meal. read more

The hubs was craving an Italian sandwich after we finished a nice 5 mile coastal hike and I was dreaming of noodles, so after some searching for somewhere that could satisfy us both we landed here. The decor is kind of weird for a pizza/italian joint but oh well. They have a pretty large menu with lots of options and the prices are very reasonable! Right now there is a small amount of seating but we managed to snag a table. I got fettuccine alfredo with chicken and was pleasantly supprised to find out that it also came with a side salad and some garlic knots. My husband got an Italian sandwich and added pastrami. It certainly wasn't the best we've ever had but it satisfied the craving at 2 pm after we had been hiking all morning. My favorite thig was actually the garlic knots which made me wish I had ordered the pizza. Next time we'll be back to try the pizza! read more

Staying in Newport for the weekend and I had a hankering for Pizza. My search on yelp brought me to Cobblestone. I called in an order for pickup: just one large Garlic chicken pizza + some ranch for dipping (of course!). Overall- tasty! I really like the addition of pancetta on this one, which gave the perfect salty complement to the richness of the creamy alfredo base. The crust was a bit flavorless, but will all the toppings on it, you didn't notice until you got the edges. Just needed a little more salt in the dough, I think. Cobblestone's ranch dressing appeared homemade (you know the good, thick, probably mostly mayo stuff) and it had a very strong garlic tang to it, which wasn't bad but definitely noticeable. My husband picked it up for us, so I can't comment on the restaurant location or interior. However, the service over the phone to order was good and the pizza was ready right when they said it would be. read more

The location is out of the way on a side street, parking was limited and for my Diesel dually truck. The menu was different than most pizza restaurants. Awesome Pizza! Had a 14 inch with pepperoni and sausage, heavy on the sauce, and came out looking, and tasting great! Not quite as good as my favorite back east but still pretty great! Crust seems to have a slight garlicky taste to it, which is nice. It's a great blend of what an looking for and best have had on the road so far! The meat is plentiful. Only downside is they sprinkled Parmesan cheese on it, which I don't mind but some people might. I'm staying in Newport for a few days and was craving pizza, so after checking out reviews we decided on Cobblestone. Overall it was a great choice! We ordered salads and they were fresh and crunchy! The ranch was delicious, too. (I hate it when it's obvious restaurants just use bottled/store brand ranch dressing!) And it was a nice portion -- even for the "small" size! We got one small pizza (with 1/2 salami and half pepperoni, mushrooms all over) and 2 slices of pepperoni. Both my husband and I loved the crust. The salami was somehow missing flavor ... or maybe it was just a bit old? If we go back again next time we're here, I'll opt for a different topping. We felt like the value for the money was great, too! The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because, despite Yelp, Google, and a list from the hotel we're staying at ALL saying Cobblestone delivers...they didn't offer delivery. At least when we called. That and the less than tasty salami knocked them down one star for me. That said, I'd definitely go back! And recommend it to others, with just a couple of caveats. read more

Good pizza like always:) Best around Newport. The salads are simple but good with fresh ripe ingredients. Gotta try the buttered rolls/knots, if ya like parmesan cheese and butter:):) I have witnessed many people coming in just for them.
