It was a bit off-time that we went in, about 2:30 or so, but the burgers were great and the fries were Fabulous!! Food came out hot and fast and was cheaper than we could eat at the Arches down the road! The staff was friendly and answered our questions. They also write your order name in ketchup on the fry sauce. We found a new fave lunch spot in Newport! read more

Fast food made great! The service at the counter was efficient and friendly. The place felt like an old 50-60s drive-in burger place. There were a few booths and tables throughout the place with some fun music playing in the background. Burgers and fries. read more

Burger 101 - Burgers Near Me - Newport, Oregon

This place was really close to our hotel and got good reviews. We went the previous night but I was the only one to eat. I kept telling my husband how delicious the burger was so we decided to come back the next day. The staff is great but the star was the manager Vance. So friendly to all the customers. The menu is small so if you want lots of options, this isn't the place for you. They have burgers, fries, and drinks. That's it. The burgers are smash burger style so I recommend getting at least 2 patties. Tell them what toppings you want because it's not listed on the menus. I enjoyed the fries better the second time because we asked for them crispy. They bring out a little tray with sauce to dip your fries in and it is very good. They even sell bottles of it and had we not been on vacation, I would have considered purchasing some. Parking is in the back if you're not sure when pulling up. It almost looks like an old school diner inside with a decent amount of seating. Great place and great service. read more

Super friendly staff, great shakes, burgers and stellar fries. Def will be back again.

Had the 303. Triple patties, triple cheese burger. Very good! Too much for the bun. Turned messy quick but was delicious. Fries were too salty. I would definitely eat here again because the burger was great. read more

The fries were delicious, the service was fast, and the lady at the counter was funny and really nice. The only thing is I wish they had actual veggie burgers instead of just a veggie melt (basically a burger without the meat ). I absolutely love that they wrote our names in the sauce. Such a fun time visiting! read more

Burger 101 - this is so funny im crying - Burgers Near Me - Newport, Oregon

This place is what we've always heard about when people are raving about Burger 101! We had tried the diner in Lincoln City and we were horribly disappointed but this place makes up for it. It looks like a somewhat new location. I don't know how long they've been open. The decor is old school diner, complete with video games and a pool table. It looks clean and comfy. The tables were clean and there was a lot of space in the dining area. We came in just before a big lunch rush. We ordered 303 combos and 202 combos. The burgers are fantastic! Great flavor, fresh toppings and soft bun. The fries were also good. The fry sauce makes them better. The prices are very reasonable (menu pictured). It does get really busy at peak meal hours. By the time we were finished and leaving there was a line of about 15 people all the way out the door. We will definitely be back to this location on our next trip through in a few weeks read more

The menu is small (but when you have something fantastic you don't need a huge menu). Cute diner vibes always clean and they also have shirts and hats for sale. Great Burgers at a great price point but even better is the staff. They are always welcoming and for being fresh made burgers and fries they are prompt. My only request/suggestion is to add onion rings read more

Wow! What a find! As soon as you walk into this adorable retro malt shop, you are greeted by the aroma of those wonderful cheeseburgers burgers of times long past. For a very reasonable price you can get a double cheeseburger, fries (which are great) and a fountain drink. Now, the cheeseburger. Perfection. Lots of melty cheese, delicious, juicy burger cooked just right. First bite told me I was on to something here. I can't wait to go back. read more

Fast and delicious. Honestly one of the best burgers and fries I've had in years! Only $12 and they load the bag with fries better than 5 guys. The bacon on the burger crispy and so tasty. I door dash all over America and I had a delivery from them today. The smell of the food is what brought me back to try them out. Super friendly staff. The cute lady earlier when I picked up the door dash had the best smile. I might not ever leave Newport Oregon. Seriously it's a must for anyone's bucket list of burgers and fries read more

Burger 101 - 100 COMBO | Fries - Burgers Near Me - Newport, Oregon

Alright, first off, let me just say that this has old school diner vibes with all the extras of a hangout spot. The burgers are good! Good old fashion burger with great flavor, and the highlight for me here... pinball machines, arcades games, and a golf simulator?? We were enjoying our lunch after taking a drive along the coastline and the owner asked if we wanted to take some swings on the golf simulator. I was so excited especially coming from a golf trip down in AZ, so I was feeling it! I could've stayed there for ours just to hangout and keep ordering food. They looked to have a bar area as well but I am not sure if it operates as a bar in the evenings as we went in the afternoon, but it was not very busy that you had to wait a long time to order or for the food! Would definitely stop by again if I was in the area! read more

Best burger spot! Customer service was excellent!! Will definitely be back. Food was fresh and made to order.

We've gone to Burger 101 since they opened. Yesterday stood out to me. We went in about 11:45. My husband stood at the counter for a few minutes. We don't mind, everyone is so short handed these days. It looked like there were just 2 young men operating the place. He took our order. I just watched him work. A family came in, 3 adults and quite a few kids. The kids were being.....kids, there were a couple other people waiting as well. After he took our order, he went to the kitchen to deliver food to those waiting. He acknowledged the people waiting, but made my milkshake first. I was impressed...he was getting the orders taken care of before he took more. HE brought my shake over and I told him he's doing a great job. He was friendly and very calm. with all the noise in there...all the people....he remained calm. When our order was ready, he brought it right out. If you visit Burger 101, please be patient. They are short handed and doing the absolute best they can. Believe me, the food is worth the wait. owner: take care of these two. In a day and age where we cannot get people to work, these 2 young men are people any business would be proud of. read more

Had my mouth craving a great burger and this place did not disappoint. Super great service. Food served quick and with a smile.

Burger 101 that I had out of Newport was delivered to me. The delivery was fine, but the packaging was terrible, with one box left unsealed. The burger was bad. The fries were inedible. It seemed like the cheese was burned on the bottom. read more

if i could give 0 stars i would, this place honestly deserves negative stars. the service was alright they had one singular person serving about 20 people we waited for 20 minutes and got absolutely disgusting and uneatable "food" the fries are all burned, black, and rock hard except for a few literal raw pieces of potato and the burgers looked like a biohazard. the patties are completely burned and hard. just overall a horrendous experience would not recommend to anyone. read more

Great smashburgers. Fun atmosphere and good service. Delicious fries too. Right on the main highway.

We loved this retro burger joint! The burgers are real meat with a char-grilled flavor. You can get onions raw or grilled. Real veggies and cheese. The fries are super tasty with crisp skins still on. The milk shakes and malts have milk and ice cream in them. Plus the owner, Vance, is super friendly. It's about the same price as fast food, but lots more fun! read more

Burgers and fries tasted good. Service was friendly. Seating sufficient. Has arcade and billiard area.

Absolutely the worst hamburgers I've ever had, in my life. I cannot believe that anybody would rate these hamburgers anything but awful. We darn near picked up more gristle from the hamburger then meat, then actually meat. None of us finished our hamburgers, they were so terrible. First of all, they're the most basic burgers around, but the sauce is awful, the meat is obviously a very low quality meat and the flavor was just terrible! Save yourself some money and make your own burgers at home guaranteed they're gonna be 100 times better than this joint! I was told that they moved into this location after having a food truck by the old subway. A year ago I ate at a burger food truck at that location and the food was all right. Then last week we went to the two food trucks next to the old Subway and discovered that the burger truck that's there now was not the same burger truck that we were at a year ago so, we're thinking that maybe they did move to this location and allow somebody else to move their burger truck over there? The burger truck that is currently parked at that location is Smash burger's. read more

I ordered the 303, a triple cheese burger with fries and a soda. To say it was anything less than excellent would be criminal. It's a toss up between this place and Newport cafe if we are in a "burger mode". Both have awesome products, similarly priced with 101 a bit cleaner of a place. read more
