"The little food-cart that could!" Left Coast Burger Shack, certainly deserves their 5 star rating! Good service, simple menu, and good food -done right! I rarely ever eat meat, but did partake in their smash burger - It was cooked to perfection, and loaded with the works = cheese, jalapeños, pickles, grilled onion, raw onion, lettuce, tomato, *magic sauce... all on a brioche bun! The fries that accompanied the burger were hot, crisp and delicious! Mr. Wonderful indulged in a chocolate shake, and I had a Diet Coke = like that's going to help me, after such gluttony?! haha Definitely a place worth writing home about.

This food cart moved up to Newport in the old subway parking lot from waldport. I decided to give it a try and boy it exceeded my expectations. It's so juicy and the taste is phenomenal! Right amount of cheese and meat ratio. The only negative I will say is the bottom bun does get a little soggy due to all the juices but that don't bother me but it might bother some. I definitely would recommend! I'm minusing a star due to a soggy bottom bun.

Delicious cheeseburger and a extra order of fries.

Sorry I didn't plan doing a review today but I'll update with photos on my next visit. This definitely has to be my favorite burger, fries, and milkshake place in Oregon. To get to enjoy the freshest ingredients and just plan darn great food. Nothing too fancy but great food at a good price , that's hard to beat on the Oregon coast. Friendly and professional service, it's definitely worth the wait and every penny.

Amazing burger...sorry Cajun fries already gone.

Freaking amazing burger and awesome Cajun fries! 100% always worth the drive from Newport to Waldport just for it!!!

Good food but NEVER open. It's too bad. The burgers are worth it. There is Skosh but way more expensive.

Kind of just a basic burger place, however the beef just didn't sit right with me. Give them another year maybe they'll get it together.

Great food! Service isn't fast food speed but you are not waiting long. You can feed 4 kids and 2 growns up for a good price

It was a huge portion of food, we shared it along with a dish from the Thai cart Cozy kitchen, we split the chicken and veggies with a side of gyoza. The food was amazing and well priced. We found a table inside the indoor seating and enjoyed the music while we feasted on our meal, after dinner we walked back toward our hotel. One of them (can't remember the name but it was Mexican food) was a bit of a dud but the other two were great. This pod had both outdoor and indoor seating which is nice. The bathrooms, while dark, were clean. Just a reminder that dogs are not permitted and neither is outside food. We don't come to Lincoln City often but I'd come back to this pod in the future.

About a month after our initial in-person visit, we were excited to find Young's Country Kitchen on Doordash. We ordered the tteokbokki bowl and the teriyaki tofu bowl and both were good! My only issue is that the teriyaki tofu bowl was a little bland and dry, so I had to add some teriyaki sauce I had at home. After adding the sauce it was enjoyable, but had I not been at home I wouldn't have been able to do that. I'll definitely be back, since there's a vast menu I have yet to explore. All things considered, the food here is tasty and absolutely worth a try!

We try to find local restaurants to support local business, we've generally been happy with what we've found. Young's Country Kitchen is no exception, we really enjoyed our meal! The cuisine is quite good and authentic. The bibimbap had a good balance of beef and veggies, the chap chae also nicely done. My son enjoyed his bulgogi, good flavor and tender beef. We were a bit curious as to why our son ordered the sweet-and-sour chicken, but as always he knew what he was doing (at least with food). The chicken has the right amount of batter, there was still nice chunks of meat, plus the dish wasn't drowned in sauce. What really impressed me are the "minor" features that add up. The chili sauce with the bibimbap was tasty with a mild, not overwhelming kick (it may not be homemade, but it complimented the dish properly). The rice is very good, with generous portions. I wish I'd have purchased some kim chee to go with it. The miso soup is good, white miso, very appreciated on a cold day. Our family has been there before, and we plan on returning. My next try will be the Kim chee fried rice.
