I loved this place! I came in on a busy Friday night, but they still took my order super quickly and got the pizza out to me in a reasonable time. The lady working at the bar was super nice and I loved the vibe of the place, very cozy and they've got games and stuff for people to play while they wait/eat. I even came back on Saturday for more twisties (garlic bread) and they recognized me from the previous night! This restaurant has had new ownership since my last review and I saw some positive reviews on FB so I thought I would give it another try. The pizza dough is better than before, it seems like real pizza dough, not foam rubber crossed with biscuit dough, but it's thick and I prefer thin dough. The sauce seems to have some spice, but not much, and it's too sugary for my taste. The toppings and cheese were okay. A slice with 2 toppings of your choice costs around $7, but you actually get two regular slices for that price. I'm glad I didn't get a whole pie because I wasn't that impressed. My family is new to the area and apparently the current owners of OuttaGas Pizza are new(er) as well . . . So I can't speak to what it was prior to a year ago, but this is our favorite pizza on the central Oregon coast. What's better than a day of playing around Yachats and then picking up some pizza to go? It's baked fresh, so we usually have a drink while we wait 20 minutes or so. One of these days I'll get my boys to agree to just stay and eat in, it's definitely a casual, comfortable place. Nice selection of beers, hard ciders and seltzers as well as soft drinks. The 101 Pizza with chicken, spinach and mushrooms is our favorite, but you can't go wrong with any of them. The toppings are always generous. Great place to refuel! read more

They were out of a few items we wanted to try but we end up with the meatball sub and the garlic bread (they kept pushing it) Both were good but the sub could have used a little more sauce. First off, the staff was friendly and they had the pizza ready at exactly the time they said they would. Now rating the pizza, my group and I were unanimous that it was the worst pizza we had ever ate from a restaurant, and could not think of a frozen pizza from the store worse. The comp was a step below school cafeteria pizza. The crust looked and tasted more like cardboard. I do not like to leave bad reviews, but they should not be selling this pizza even if it were a bar. Hopefully this may save some people from spending their money on what we honestly threw away after a slice each. Also cash only which is not the most convenient if you do decide to eat there. This place has new owners and it is fantastic!!! The friendly service, consistent hours ( which around here is huge plus) and the pizza is amazing!! She has even made me my own version of a Reuben pizza lol. We also love the high octane sweet heat. Crust is excellent. If you have not tried it since it has gotten new owners you are truly missing out. I can't wait to try the sub sandwiches but every time I call I just can't pass on the pizza it is so yummy! Cute seating area inside as well for dine in although we always get to go. Again this place is new I don't know why they didn't change out their yelp page because the older reviews on here are definitely from when it had different owners. I know because I had experienced what others have said in the older reviews. Out with the old and in with the new. There was new owners so we were excited to try. OMG!!!! SOOO good! we ordered the pastrami sandwich, a fill-r-up pizza, I forgot the name of the other item and bread sticks. I was a pillow of bread sticks. So soft, so good. The guys loved their pastrami. It came with a pasta salad that was delicious. The pizza only comes in one size but trust me, you WILL WANT the left overs. An abundance of toppings. Everything was well cooked, not overly salted or spice, just enough. If you haven't here since the old owners, do yourself a favor and go back. You will not be sorry. Finally a restaurant that is a keeper. So many places in Waldport have gone downhill we do not go to those places anymore. Next time we need to try some pastries. Thank you ladies, who are the new owners. PLEASE DO NOT change a thing. First off...this is not the same "OuttaGas Pizza" as the one you will read in older comments. Earlier this year it had a change in management who recently became the owner and is like night and day over the old pizza joint. Amy is an amazing cook and makes the best pizza around. My wife and I always disagree with each other over the crust. This is the first place that makes a pizza we can both love....well, I still like more stuff on mine than she does but the crust is perfect! I promise you will totally enjoy it and don't forget to try their incredible desserts they make fresh daily (they are always different)! The ambiance is very casual and they have a pool table and shuffle board table. Not fancy, but HEY....it's pizza not a bistro! Excellent friendly service too! read more

Even though the service was lovely, I have to say that the quality of the food was not there. At all. Crust on the pizza tasted like cardboard and all of the ingredients did not have flavor. The only thing I could taste was tomato sauce on that cardboard tasting crust. I was very excited to try this, but was left deeply disappointed. The lady that took care of my order gets a 5/5, though. She was wonderful. So the three stars are only because of her. Might give it another try in the future, hopefully it is better. read more

I know the local people like it, but when it's on a premade precooked crust and the middle of the crust is not golden brown only the edges the sauce is lacking flavor. We ordered a 16-in pizza which is the only size they carry it was $28 plus food tax. We ordered the mermaid pizza. The crust was very thick , a ton of bread.. We ended up pulling the toppings off and just eating them I had a whole box of bread leftover. I sent a picture to my girlfriend and she said it looked like one of the old chef boyardee pizzas years ago. I see what everybody's saying on the reviews about it being like a frozen pizza. I don't think we will order again . On the positive side they were very nice when I placed the order my love partner said they were very nice people when he picked the pizza up. They also close at 8:00 p.m. I did see there is a pizza shop up in Walport it might be worth checking out. I have not been to that pizza shop. It is a 15 minute drive up and back. read more

First, I REALLY wanted to like this pizza. After all, it was our 34th anniversary. I should've gone to the grocery store and bought a Tombstone. From the bottom up- I wasn't sure if I was eating crust or the box it came in. The sauce - It May have been tomato paste right from the can with no seasoning. The cheese - Unremarkable. Nothing good about it. The veggies - A crime to charge $25 for a veggie pizza that had fewer vegetables than my grandson's dinner plate. Were they good or fresh? Not as good as a frozen pizza. Pros: - the person who rang up my order and handed me my pizza was very nice. - the pool table room looks like fun if you have kids. Cons: - the crust is hard and tasteless and I suspect it is not handmade and baked there. - there was very little sauce, sausage and mushrooms on the pizza I ordered. - every frozen pizza I have ever eaten is superior to their pizza. The small town of Yachats, Oregon is a very cute coastal town with a surprising selection of restaurants... We happened to be starving for some pizza... This is a stand alone Pizza Place vs a restaurant that might serve some pizza on the side. It also appeared to be the ONLY pizza place in town. We were pretty excited to say the least... Perched overlooking the Pacific Ocean (no view from restaurant) this little establishment sits right off of the historic 101 Hwy. Decent parking for the small place, they have a great sign distinguishing their presence. The place is quite large, lots of cool pictures and a sports bar kinda atmosphere... there's a bar, and there were other people eating there, always a good sign when you go somewhere. We were a bit thrown off when we ordered our drinks and the lady just set 2 cans of pepsi on our table... but whatever, it was still cold and wet, just what you'd like to have in a crisp beverage when you're dying of thirst. We ordered our pizza and proceeded to soak in the rest of the place while waiting. Mind you, we drove down from Portland and we were headed to Medford... staying in Yachats that night. When we finally got our food we immediately dove in, only to take one bite and then stare at each other as if we were both in some weird fantasy world.... the pizza crust is NOT homemade. It's something that's similar to the bland tasteless torture that is the bread in a one of those $2 pizza lunchables. It was so hard and processed that i thought it was a joke. These are mass produced and packaged frozen pizza crust templates that are possibly not even suitable for prisoners. No joke. The cheese was cheap, like the kind that has so little cheese of its own that it can't even melt properly and the pineapple was the extra cheap kind that apparently seagulls (the ocean's winged garbage gitters) won't even touch. We ate 1 slice as if it would potentially be our last meal. The staff knows how horrible the food is and basically avoids you at all costs until its time to pay up. This cool looking joint with the best spot in town with the worst food we've had in a very long time only set us back $27.00. Make that $29.50 due to having to use their atm because they only accept cash... So, if you're ever in the mood to spend $30 on 2 slices of seagull repellent and 2 cans of soda, look no further... this is the place. We all have financial issues, running a restaurant is not cheap, but i guarantee people would travel from all over to check this place out if they simply put the love they once had back into their food... a good homemade crust and cheese that's not actually plastic would do wonders for this place. We would love to come back... but until the seagulls say it's safe, we will stay away. read more

They have an ATM in the location, so you can pull out cash to pay. $22 for a large pizza with a few toppings and a pretty interesting interior and employees. This pizza place is on the outskirts a little bit north from town which makes it a great place if you don't want to wait in line for a table. Almost feels like a secret because it can get so crazy on the weekends at the other places and yet this place is chilling. I also think they get a lot of to go pizzas but that doesn't slow down your wait much if you are super hungry. You can also order ahead and wait at home, or you can go on in and have yourself a beer and watch some sports on their huge tvs. The owner and his daughter can be quite entertaining in their own way as well. The pizza - what about the pizza? They've got your usual suspects on the menu as well as some gluten free pizza for those of you that need that. They have thin or thick crust unless they run out. We usually just get the vegetarian and you choose whichever 5 veggies you decide on for about $25.00. Large only but.. umm... just the 2 of us usually manage to eat all of it.. because.. well it's delicious. BRING CASH OR USE THEIR ATM THOUGH IT'S $3.00.. Its not the best ever but Im spoiled as I reside in LA with so many options and have visited NY dozens of times. The service was very mention worthy. We called our complex order in and it was made perfectly to order and was ready pretty quickly.
