I got in contact with Riverside Mazda through an employee auto program and I was throughly impressed. I worked with Richard Lopez and found him to be incredibly prompt, professional and kind. I was so impressed I actually drove 10 hours round trip just to buy a car from them ! If that doesn't speak volumes of the kind of service they provide I do not know what does. I have had my car for just under a month now and I still couldn't be happier. I recommend anybody to buy a car here ! Truly an excellent experience. It was my first time buying a car and I feel incredibly thankful for the smooth and easy process Riverside Mazda and Richard created. read more

The service department is the best. Great prices and customer service always keep you informed on the progress of your vehicle.

I have been looking to buy a new cx5 for about 3 months now and I talked to or visited 6 different dealers and each one either lied, misled or tried to scam me. I submitted an offer to Riverside Mazda and Richard Lopez respond that they would accept it. It was a pleasure to work with Richard he was open and honest the whole time, no pressure at all and he even delivered the car to me. I took care of the whole process from home. If you're in the market for a new Mazda I highly recommend seeing Richard, he will definitely take care of you. read more

The sales person Ruben is top notch. Great guy and very honest. When I buy my next vehicle I will call him.

It was a pleasure doing business with Riverside Mazda. Shack helped my wife and I out, and we left that night with a new mazda 3, and a painless buying experience. Thanks again, Richard read more

Visited this dealer couple days ago, look at the new CX-3 since I am still comparing the HRV with this model. Sales people are cool, the floor manager are really impressive and helpful. I am not sure his name Maj or Mag,the most professional car guy I be ever met, explained every detail on the car on the finance process to me and my cousin even After knowing I was only shopping on that day. I would definitely go back to get the car from this Mazda dealer to ask for him when I made the decision this weekend. read more

I AM SOOOO THANKFUL RIVERSIDE MAZDA! They helped me get out of the worst car deal in history and i walked out with a 2016 Mazda 6 Touring! I visited this dealership today after 3 days of looking at cars and test driving them. I was most impressed with their salesman Ruben Ramirez. He was patient and extremely courteous. His customer service was a great surprise since every car dealer prior has given pushy sales reps that do not listen. The lobby was very clean, the hot chocolate/ coffee machine made great coffee. Snacks were not 55 cent granola bars either. I would gladly recommend people to visit Ruben at the Mazda in Riverside. You will not be disappointed in the conversation or time he will take with you. read more

So, we came in with a Truecar certificate from Nancy Le (the internet manager). She was nowhere to be found. We dealt with Ivan, Maj and or Vinnie. Ivan seemed like a good guy but he wasn't able to offer us a good deal. Maj/Vinnie tried to convince us that "lojack" is required and that all of their vehicles have it and they can't remove it. So, I responded, well you shouldn't put lojack in the first place if you demand customer who don't want lojack to pay extra for it. Then, he replied: Are you Filipino? I'm not Filipino and it's confirmed by 23andme as well. I'm very shocked and offended about his response. What does race/ethnicity have to do with negotiating car buying or even lojack? It seems that Riverside Mazda need to give more training to employees in regards to micro aggression, diversity, intercultural communication, and customer service. I was also told that gap insurance from Chase bank will be around $750, this price was confirmed by other Mazda dealers with Chase affiliation. Maj/Vinnie tried to convince us that we don't qualify for our Truecar certificate. He asked what qualification we had for the truecar price, we were told to prove it. He also changed the gap insurance to be more than $800. So, I asked him, this wasn't what was mentioned earlier, and he said that through Chase, it will be almost 900, so I asked, is this Chase in California or other country? (Why the inflation) And he responded: Why are you talking to me like this? Do you want me to talk to you like this? Do you want me to treat you the same way you treat me? (What just happened here?) I also mentioned that I spoke to several people regarding prices and deals they got, he said that I would never get a deal like that anywhere. I asked him if he doesn't believe me and he said no, and I told him, even my employer got better deal, and he started asking, what does he do? I said, he is a neurosurgeon. I don't believe you, let me give him a call and ask. So, since I'm female, appeared young, about 5 feet, 100 lbs, he won't believe my word that he needs to confirm with a male neurosurgeon whether I told the truth or not. Seriously? We as customers were trying to get a good and fair business deal. We weren't trying to be greedy. Ivan said that Mazda Riverside do not make much profits and he even showed me on his calculator on the computer that Mazda Riverside only make profit less than $800 for every car sold. But, he won't show me how he gets the number: $800. I won't trust your number if you don't show your work in Math. We might just appear as mellow two little girls, but we are not dumb. If Truecar certificate states $23k. Then please honor the 23K and we will pay sales tax, license fee, and all the requirements without forcing us to buy extended warranty and service or extra accessories we don't want. Don't refuse to tell us what the Standard rate for the APR is because we know we qualify for 0% APR for 36 months. Stop saying, oh it's Standard rate, then an hour later, you stated that it's basically 4.9%. Please be an honest businessman/saleperson with integrity, don't try to take advantage from customers. We know as customers that business needs to make profits, but don't rip us off or trick us to spend $31k plus for MSRP $23k, that is a fraud. I learnt a lot from this experience and at the same time lost faith in humanity. Customer-focused build loyalty and relationships. You need to re-think your marketing strategy! We decided to go with Costco auto program. We walked in to the dealer, there was no switch and bait, everything was printed on the Costco members-only price sheet and manufacturer's invoice. We received costco discounts and Mazda loyalty discount, 0% APR, 36 months. We received fair treatment and the dealer managed to get the car with the color we wanted from other location, we walked out with the car we wanted. read more

Was going to literally buy a Miata here today but stood outside for a half hour and no help. It's now 93 degrees f and I wanted the car that bad. But instead I walk 100 yards and am considering buying a GTI with VW or there used Miata once it clears. Worst customer service ever! read more

Bought a Mazda3 5 Door from this dealership. I was expecting car shopping at a dealership to be about as much fun as going to the dentist for a root canal. But, to my surprise we had a great experience. Jose was our sales person. He was very knowledgable about the vehicles and was able to answer all of our questions. I really appreciated Jose's relaxed, no pressure attitude. Did some minor back and forth over price and still no high pressure sales tactics. Settled on what we felt was a good price and came back the next day too take delivery. The car was ready to go. Paperwork was a breeze. There was no up selling in the finance office. Overall great experience and I would definitely recommend checking out Riverside Mazda if your in the market for a new vehicle. read more

DUSTIN RILEY!! Honestly one of the most genuine honest people I've met and had the pleasure of getting to know through the process of buying a car, he gave me faith that I would leave with a car and didn't give up despite hurdles. On 6/02/19, I took my car into Mazda for a windshield wiper recall and got offered a trade in for a newer 2019 model. First, want to thank Reuben. Great service and extremely knowledgable about everything in that car. Two years made a big difference and he explained everything while test driving. I thank you very much. Second, I want to thank ceasar in financial. I told him what I wanted and not only did he get it, but he kept trying the next day and got me a better deal. Thank you to both of these amazing people for doing this for me. I love the car and love the service here always. read more

The process of buying a car is not something I personally enjoy but it went as well as could be expected. We test drove a Mazda CX 5 Sport a couple weeks ago with Isaiah but weren't ready to commit to a car yet since we wanted to do more research on tier levels. However, Isaiah was very pleasant to work with and was incredibly personable so I kept his card and wanted to go back when we were ready to give him our business. We did eventually go back this past weekend and were ready to purchase the CX 5 Touring with the preferred package. The negotiation is never a fun part of the process and the only reason I did not give this location 5 stars is because another sales manager named Ricardo came out during the process with Isaiah and immediately put me off. He didn't seem personable at all and did not seem to want to negotiate at all. He actually seemed bothered by the whole process and a bit aggressive in how he spoke to us. It almost sounded like he was speaking down to us and annoyed that we were challenging the extra charges they were trying to get us to pay for. Ricardo eventually went back to his office and we were left talking to Isaiah. We told him what we were comfortable paying and we eventually got the deal made and were able to leave happy. I've had a Mazda for 12 years and naturally wanted to stick with Mazda and honestly glad I did. However, I felt that better customer service could be had when speaking to customers about pricing. I understand it's a business but you don't need to be aggressive about either. Thanks Isaiah for all your wonderful help! read more

This is the worst dealership in riverside I was not impressed they charged me for tire rotation and to check air pressures I was having a problem with the low air pressures light not going off so I put 40psi in tires before going in for service and when I got home after service I checked air pressures and it was still at 40psi when they said it was 34psi that makes them liars will never return to them for anything let alone make another purchase read more

Brought my vehicle to this location for service because my previous dealership is too far. Not sure if I will bring vehicle back the advisor was very short and brief and did not go through my vehicle like the way a service advisor should he just asked what was I therefore I explained to him I want it whatever service was needed for the amount of miles on my vehicle and all I got was an oil change he asked if the tires should be rotated and I explain to him yes if they need to be but I believe I need new tires and if that's the case then no but let me know the adviser never mentioned anything so the paperwork does not say if whether or not they rotated the tires or not. Maybe I am just used to a different type of service, or perhaps just a bad day. read more

First things first. This dealership has an energy to it that I had yet to experience until now. You feel like you're walking into a family! Buying a new car is an investment and a big decision - I worked specifically with Marcos and he was extremely knowledgeable, patient, understanding, sincere and passionate about what he was selling. I appreciated his honesty and he made me feel comfortable, even after I asked him 729 questions. :) The SM, Alex, was also fantastic. He made the experience personal and took into consideration what my budget was and the options available for me. Not once did I feel rushed, unlike other experiences I've encountered in the past. Thank you so much to the Mazda team. I'm absolutely in love with my CX9!!! read more

I am so grateful for the Riverside Mazda team especially Tony who made the impossible possible. My credit is very challenged and I had very little hope for approval, I went in and told Tony my situation and he told me "all we can do is try" and so his team went at it. The process was not long considering my credit history, but sure enough I walked out of there with a set of keys. I'm so happy with my new car, it runs excellent and it's perfect for me. Highly highly recommend this location friendly people and they really know there stuff. Tony was excellent, gave me back my hope. read more

Stopped by the dealership to find the parts department. There were roughly 4-5 guys standing out front of the dealer and kindly greeted us, opened the door, etc...BUT the customer service inside the dealer was horrendous. We were NOT greeted at all by the receptionist, whilst entering or leaving. She was on her phone the entire time, just looking down. Working in customer service myself, you are supposed to greet all customers. Hello! The cashier was another problem. We had a fine experience with the parts guy, but when we went to go pay, the cashier was on a personal call!!! She failed to end the call and continued to talk on the phone while we were standing right in front of her waiting to pay. No apology or anything. Customer service skills need to be improved. read more

Just bought my second car from Riverside Mazda. I purchased a 2016 Mazda3.Great experience, hassle free, very knowledgeable and friendly. The customer service was amazing. I'm 100% satisfied. The floor manager gave us a great deal I couldn't refuse. I would definitely recommend this dealership to family and friends. The service department does a great job as well. I live in San Bernardino and drive to Riverside every time my car needs its service done. This dealership charged me $490 for a thermostat replacement and coolant flush. I was not in a position to take the car elsewhere at the time. Unfortunately I don't think I can recommend them on the basis of this charge - I believe it's excessive. While the work was otherwise done professionally, they also misled me about the state of some of the components, claiming there was a leak and cracked reservoir while neither was true. read more

Right from the "get go" we had a pleasant experience at Riverside Mazda. Our salesman Isaiah, greeted us and remembered my wife's name from a phone call the prior day. We test drove a CX-5 and explained that we were comparing it to a Subaru we had checked out. Isaiah never bad mouthed the competition but did a through job telling us the about the Mazda.
