Tom is the best salesman and good customer service. I will refer him to all my cousins and family

Alex is the man! He's the most friendly salesman I've ever spoken too. Full of energy, youthful soul, fun to work with. I wish everyone that shops here meets him and experiences his professional, yet fun attitude. I was expecting the stereotypical experience, but I promise you, Alex is the complete opposite! Take my word for this. Truly a great person of this world. If I need to buy a car again, I hope it's from this dealership just so I can work with him again. I drove up from the San Diego area, totally worth it. Alex, if you're reading this, thank you for everything. I hope you get your dream car one day and maybe post it here so I can see it as a review! read more

I had a wonderful experience at Hyundai in Riverside with Raymond Block. I started out looking online for lease deals for my elderly parents and came across the Hyundai Venue. The moment we submitted an inquiry, Raymond reached out and made the entire process easy and stress-free. He thoroughly explained every step, answered all of our questions, and even personalized his service by sending a video highlighting the vehicle's features and details. He went above and beyond by coming to my parents' home so my father could sign the trade-in documents for his car. His professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care for our needs made all the difference. If you're looking for someone who provides exceptional customer service and goes above and beyond, I highly recommend Raymond Block at Hyundai Riverside. Thank you for making this such a positive experience for my parents and our family! read more

Buying a car can be exciting, but it can also be exhausting. In the past, we've experienced the typical high-pressure sales environment--salespeople following us around the lot, constant phone calls, and feeling pushed to make a decision before we were ready. When my husband and I walked into Riverside Hyundai, our intention was simply to look. We wanted to compare the 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy, explore the available upgrades, review the warranty, and get an idea of pricing. We had absolutely no plans to purchase that day since we were leaving for vacation and didn't want to buy a brand-new vehicle only to have it sit unattended in our driveway for a couple of weeks. We were greeted by Alex, who listened to exactly what we were looking for and guided us in the right direction without any pressure. It didn't take long before we found the perfect Santa Fe Calligraphy with the exact exterior color and interior we wanted. Alex invited us into his office, where we spent about 45 minutes with him and "Big B" reviewing the available options. We explained that we were shopping around and simply wanted a printed quote to take home and compare. There was no sales pitch, no pressure, and, to our surprise, Alex never even asked for our phone number or email address. That alone spoke volumes. After returning from vacation, we visited several other dealerships. Most immediately asked to see the quote Alex had given us and simply said, "We'll beat it by $500." That approach told us they weren't interested in earning our business--they just wanted to undercut someone else's work. Despite asking not to be contacted, we also received repeated follow-up calls from other dealerships. To make matters worse, several were quoting us 2025 models even though we had specifically requested pricing on a 2026. At that point, we knew Alex was our guy. When we reached back out after our vacation, the conversation picked up right where it left off--friendly, professional, and completely pressure-free. We worked out a fair deal with a simple handshake, and we felt confident moving forward. Buying a vehicle isn't just about purchasing a car--it's about choosing a dealership you'll trust for years to come. The sales experience is only the beginning, and we're hopeful the service department will continue to provide the same level of professionalism and customer care that Alex and the team showed us from day one. If you're looking for a relaxed, honest, and no-pressure car-buying experience, we highly recommend asking for Alex at Riverside Hyundai. Thanks again, Alex! Tom & Heather read more

I'm writing this review as a family member of the person who was purchasing the vehicle. I was with my family member at the Ontario dealership when I saw the messages from Marco at Riverside. Before this, we had been trying to get a clear and accurate price from Marco, but he repeatedly failed to send us the correct pricing information/photos we were asking for. Meanwhile, the Ontario dealership gave us a clear offer, so my family member shared that offer with Marco to give Riverside a chance to match or come close to it. Instead of simply giving us a clear answer, Marco said the other dealership's price was a "very aggressive offer" and basically congratulated us on purchasing elsewhere. At that point, after repeatedly trying to get the correct pricing from him, my family member replied that we wouldn't need his assistance anymore. Marco then responded, "Awww but I thought we had such a good time together You're funny sir." I was there when my family member received this message, and I found the response unnecessarily sarcastic, disrespectful, and extremely unprofessional. We weren't asking for anything unreasonable--we were simply trying to get an accurate price and compare offers before making a major purchase. In the end, though, it doesn't matter anymore. Our experience with the sales team in Ontario was so much better. They were straightforward, professional, and respectful, and actually provided us with the information we needed. I'm very glad my family ended up doing business with Ontario instead of Riverside. read more

Extremely unprofessional and sarcastic customer service. When I politely confirmed pricing and mentioned I received a better offer from another dealership, the sales rep responded with condescending and mocking text messages ("Awww but I thought we had such a good time together You're funny sir"). Instead of remaining professional, they chose to mock potential customers. I will definitely take my business elsewhere and strongly advise others to stay away if you expect respect and basic professionalism. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Riverside Metro Auto Group. From the very beginning, I feel like I was misled during this entire process. I specifically asked the salesperson through text messages if the warranty was through the dealership or a third-party company, and I was told in writing that it was through the dealership and "not to worry about it." Looking back now, that was completely deceptive and I would strongly advise anyone buying a car here to be very careful with what they sign and not rely on statements made during the sales process. The vehicle started having problems almost immediately after purchase and was repeatedly back at the dealership for repairs. What makes this even more frustrating is that these issues occurred within the initial 30 days after purchase, where the repairs should have been handled completely at no charge. Instead, they are using my third-party warranty and only covering the deductible. That honestly feels very deceptive to me because now my warranty is being used up for problems that started right after buying the car. I bought this vehicle because I needed something reliable for my family and within my budget. I work hard for my money like most people do, and I do not have unlimited disposable income like big dealerships and corporations. The vehicle has spent more time at the dealership than with me since purchasing it. To their credit, they did provide me with a courtesy vehicle, but I am limited on mileage, which defeats the purpose of even buying my own car in the first place. I bought a vehicle so I could drive freely without restrictions. The communication has also been terrible. Before the sale, they constantly contacted me and treated me very friendly just to make the sale. But once the problems started, it became extremely hard to get a hold of anyone. It should not take negative reviews just to receive updates or responses about a vehicle that I am paying for but barely able to drive. I am not writing this review because I am angry. I am writing this because I am disappointed. I genuinely tried being patient and understanding throughout this process, but honesty, communication, and accountability matter. I will be attaching screenshots and service records for transparency so people can make informed decisions before purchasing from this dealership. From the date of purchase on September 19, 2025, up until today, May 7, 2026, the vehicle is still being worked on. read more

Thank you NOE! The person who helped me was named Noe. I have had bad experiences in the past when I bought my car somewhere else 13 years ago, so I was a bit hesitant and very on guard as you should be when you buy a new car. But Noe was very kind and understanding of what I was looking for in a car. He saw my old car of 13 years and he knew it was time. He was able to find me a car that I really wanted at a really good price and my monthly payments are comfortable for my budget. Noe worked with me until I was happy and satisfied with my choice. He listened to my needs and found exactly what I wanted for a long time. Noe was patient, kind, and very attention to detail of what a person needs. I was even impressed at the end of my purchase when I had to transfer my belongings to my new car. He helped me to make sure that I had everything that was mine out of my old vehicle, even up to a generic pen he thought might be important to me. It was late and he was still taking the time to explain the features in the new vehicle so that I could understand to manage them myself. I left feeling very comfortable of my purchase and feeling that I had made the right choice because Noe had been patient with me and took his time to make sure I was ok with my purchase. Thank you again Noe. Forever grateful for your hospitality and patience. read more

Alex is a great guy. Honest and made the process easy. Adam was awesome ! We were well taken by him. This dealership was an incredible and easy experience. Highly recommend !!

My experience with this dealership was extremely disappointing. Before I even came to the dealership, I sent the salesperson a screenshot of my Honda loan balance simply to give him an idea of what I owed on my trade-in. It was never presented as an official 10-day payoff. I completed the purchase, signed all of the paperwork late that evening, and drove home in my new vehicle believing everything had been finalized. Since it was late at night, my lender was closed, so there was no opportunity to obtain an official 10-day payoff during the transaction. Three days later, I was contacted and informed that my actual payoff was $558 higher than the amount used in the contract. When I spoke with the finance manager, I was told, "Well, it was your fault," despite the fact that the purchase took place after business hours when my lender was closed. My concern isn't just the $558--it's the process and how the situation was handled. If an official payoff was necessary to complete the deal, why wasn't it obtained before I signed legally binding documents? Instead, I was asked to pay additional money days after I had already taken delivery of the vehicle. I was honest throughout the entire process, immediately provided every document requested, and expected the same level of professionalism in return. Instead, I was blamed for a situation that arose after the dealership completed the sale. I encourage anyone purchasing a vehicle here to insist that the dealership obtain and verify your official payoff before you sign any paperwork. Don't assume that because you've signed the contract and driven off the lot, the numbers are final. This experience left me disappointed with the dealership's communication, transparency, and customer service. read more

Getting my Ioniq 9 Limited lease at Riverside Hyundai was great and salesman, Freddy was responsive - texted me and took calls along the way. A few weeks later when I started to transfer the car out of state, Freddy ignored my texts and messages to call me back. When I needed a out of state form signed by the seller (Riverside) to verify the VIN, they refused. Cherelle (?) called back a few days after my voicemail, and said she wouldn't sign it because she wasn't certified/licensed. The form didn't require any such thing - just sign as the seller and that's it. Nope. I explained that all the law enforcement agencies also refused to verify the VIN, and believe me I tried them all. She brushed me off and said just try the DMV, which of course I had already called and they would not do it. So Riverside just ignores you and offers no favors at all once they get their cut of the money. A real sh*tty business practice and zero gratitude. read more

Riverside Hyundai always impresses. I always bring all of my cars here for service and every time I'm blown away with their hospitality and communication. I always go with David Ruiz because he knows me best. David, like the rest of the staff is extremely kind, professional, honest and will always take care of me. I brought my car in for an AC issue and paid $300 for service. A few days later, the problem came back, so I returned. After waiting five hours, I was told the evaporator was leaking. David Ruiz quoted me $905. I specifically asked if that included everything--he said yes. I took time off work to get it fixed, only to be told after handing over my keys that the real cost was actually $3,600 because the original quote didn't include labor. Completely misleading. Friendly staff doesn't make up for wasting my time and giving inaccurate quotes. Be very careful here and double-check everything. I purchased my new car yesterday at Riverside Hyundai, and Raymond was fantastic to work with! I had been waiting for a recall to be fixed on the car I wanted, and he was able to get it pushed through faster than anticipated. He worked with me to reach the price I needed, and I truly feel like I got a great deal. Raymond was honest throughout the entire process, with no tricks or pressure--unlike some other dealerships and sales reps I encountered during my car search. 5-Star Experience at Riverside Hyundai Dealership! My husband, Mom, and I recently purchased a used car from this dealership and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. We first saw the vehicle online and called to inquire--Ferass worked with us and was honest, professional, and incredibly helpful. There were no sales gimmicks or pressure tactics--just straightforward communication, which we really appreciated. When we came in to pick up the car, Armani greeted us with a warm welcome and guided us through the rest of the process. She was friendly and attentive while we waited for the car to be detailed and filled with gas. During the paperwork portion, Monica from finance took the time to thoroughly explain every document. We never felt rushed or overwhelmed--just well taken care of. From the initial phone call to driving off the lot, everything was smooth, professional, and honest. FRAUD!!! (ORIGINAL POST ON 4/24/26) On April 16th Farass sold me a car not on the lot (i wanted a certain color). Signed paperwork and put down $1k and waited for the car. Days later was told the car was wrecked in transport. Farass said they would refund the $1k and rewind the deal/paperwork. 10 days later no refund. Contacted Arar in finance who said Farass never told him about the refund or deal rewind. Asked me for my credit card info to refund the $1k. Send me a dealership "receipt" showing he refunded the $1k. Checked my credit card and see an ADDITIONAL CHARGE for $1k. Arar says the dealership "receipt" says refund so it is a refund not a charge. I showed Arar the proof of the CHARGE, not refund. and Arar insisted it is actually a refund because his dealership paperwork says so and told me to file any legal complaint i want to. Bottom line, i have no new car, and they now have $2k that belongs to me. insisting they don't have any money of mine. BEWARE!!!! FRAUD!!! 4/28/26 RESPONSE TO RICHARD: I did speak with you about this situation BEFORE i posted about my experience. I explained to you the double negative on my account. You insisted I couldn't see my statement correctly? Then you left the call. Arar picked up the phone about a minute later. 4/28/26 UPDATED REVIEW TO EVERYONE: I want to update you all that FINALLY as of TODAY (4 days after originaal review) I have received my refund and my account is now settled. Thank goodness. Regardless, I will never be returning to or recommending Riverside Hyundai. read more

What can I say--the team at Riverside Hyundai truly knocked it out of the park. My initial car-buying experience was great, even though there was a slight miscommunication between me, my bank, and the finance department that almost led me to walk out. Thankfully, Mr. Mike Khoury stepped in and took excellent care of me, making sure everything was handled smoothly. A few days after delivery, my car became locked in valet mode, and even Hyundai Support couldn't figure out how to resolve the issue. I went back and forth with the support team with no solution in sight. Every time I visited Riverside Hyundai, the team was hands-on and determined--trying everything under the sun to help me. I also want to give Mr. Alfredo "Freddy" Saavedra a huge shout-out. Every time I walked into the building, he was right there, doing everything he could to assist me. He was the one who ultimately called me with the great news that they had solved the issue and that I could finally enjoy my vehicle. I can't thank the team at Riverside Hyundai enough. I had a very disappointing experience with the service department. The level of customer service was unacceptable--poor communication, lack of updates, and an overall disregard for my time. The process was disorganized and far slower than it should have been, with no sense of urgency or accountability. I've had a couple bad experiences and I continue to give them the benefit of the doubt working with another service advisor. Chan the first service advisor that helped me was very unprofessional & very disrespectful to women. He is the perfect example of a man in the Auto industry taking advantage of a woman. If you're in the market for a Hyundai, Riverside Hyundai is where you need to go--specifically, ask for David. Hands down, the best, most thorough, and laid-back sales rep I've ever worked with. He was incredibly responsive, worked diligently through text and email, and knows these vehicles so well that Hyundai Corporate should honestly put him in front of a camera for training videos. BigB, the sales manager, has been a familiar face for us over the past five years while servicing our 2020 Palisade. He always said he'd take care of us when the time came to upgrade, and true to his word, he made sure we got a fair deal. No games, no surprises--just exactly what we were promised. Then we met Adam in finance, who didn't miss a beat. Every number lined up exactly as negotiated, no hidden fees, no last-minute changes--just a smooth, easy process that made signing on the dotted line a breeze. Now, for the fun extras. My wife really wanted a red bow on this car--the first one she got to choose every single detail on--and the team made it happen. David even busted out some Thin Mints to celebrate (solid move, David). The dealership itself? Immaculately clean with an elite ice maker--you know, that good ice. No soda machine, but the coffee station was running strong (which is probably for the best, let's be honest). I was kinda hoping for a bag of chips, but if complimentary snacks are my only "complaint," then was it really a complaint? Bottom line: great car, great deal, world-class warranty, and a team that delivers on their word. Plus, we already know their service department is top-tier, so staying in the Riverside Hyundai family was a no-brainer. Five stars, no doubt. read more
