After some inconsistent issue with the purchase dealership in Moreno Valley (now closed) we wanted a fresh start closer to home. We got what we asked for. After receiving a discount coupon for service we took the Atlas Cross sport in for an overall inspection, oil change and tire rotation. They told us the price and worked while I waited. Nice heads up on the cafe down Adams, good spot. They did all the work requested. Gave us an itemized list of the work needed and charged us less than quotes. Just the type of relationship we have been looking for. We will return for some of the other inspection diagnosed items in the near future. My vehicle was towed in after stalling out on the freeway. Continuing concern with the vehicle. The vehicle was looked at the next day and was told it started and ran fine but had some codes stored. They diagnosed as a possible high pressure fuel pump but was told it was going to be a process of elimination to start at $1200. We have had this issue since new but was always told the same thing, poor fuel quality. I tried contacting the service manager because I had some questions regarding the diagnosis and he called me back once and we missed each other. I called him every day after for 5 days and no return call. Very disappointing. We decided to come in and buy a new Tiguan. We showed up, they had one in the show room that was the color my wife liked. We asked to test drive it. Turns out the battery was dead. Showroom car with a dead battery. They jump started the vehicle and we went for a test drive. A block down the street all the warning lights came on and the vehicle would not accelerate. We limped it back to the dealership. We test drive another one but that one did not have the same power. We decided to sit down with the salesman and had them run the credit with the intention of buying that first vehicle after they repaired it. After a short time the manager came out to speak with use, I had let the salesman and person know that I was not interested in any of their add on accessories or protections. The manger comes out and sits with use and says he contacted the GM Brian and the numbers he was presenting was the best they could do. They removed the accessories but no discount on the vehicle price and he switched the interest rate from the advertised 1.9 to 2.9 when I questioned it, his response was we have to make back the money for the already installed accessories. Mind you, he said like a typical used car salesperson with a laugh. I let him know that we did not like that tactic and we decided to leave. We did not purchase that current Taos from them for the same reason. We have purchased at least 5-6 vehicles over the years from them including our kids cars. I decided to pick up my vehicle and not have it repaired there due to the managers lack of service ethics and will probably not buy our new vehicle from them. Dealerships should appreciate their patrons because without us and our continued loyalty, they have nothing but these types of tactics to take advantage of their clients to make a buck. Don't allow them to convince you to buy any ins. especially EXPRESS FIVE coverage. It doesn't cover anything that was expressed to me when I purchased it and what it does cover you could just use your ins. (Ins. required by law anyway) or your AAA. If a rim can no longer be used that most likely means you were in an accident. They don't cover any scratches (a car barely scratched my vehicle) they won't cover any dents with paint damage or over 2 inches. I could easily use it for that but it's pointless. Someone opened their door and hit me when I wasn't around. Save your money or question the language used by sales. It's a small amount but it's adds up for all those who can't use it. Someone makes money. Ps even though I haven't used all the miles my vehicles isn't worth anything the balance is more than the value. I won't be buying it at the end of the lease. Upadte: appearance/ paint coverage is ONLY environmental coverage. 2 separate cost for each coverage sold. She was kind, informative, and made sure I felt comfortable while helping me choose the car I wanted. She never came off as pushy or aggressive, which I really appreciated. Although I didn't buy a car that day, she gladly gave me her number in case I had any questions. The next day, I was so excited that I texted her at 7 in the morning! I purchased a 2024 Volkswagen Jetta everything was fine until a year later around November 2025 it started giving me issues. I took in the car they claimed to have replaced the part . They replaced it but in the process accidently cut a wire. having me to leave the car longer. Then on an oil change they forgot to put the screws back in the bottom compartment of the vehicle and this was confirmed by corona Volkswagen. They know what they are doing in corona not in riverside. Then i took it back a second time 6 months later! Same issue. They replaced the same part but failed to neglect to fix my vehicle! They completely avoided fixing my vehicle! I took it to a different dealership, and they identified the real problem!!! I am now having to pay out of pocket to fix my vehicle! The communication afterward is less than satisfactoy, I sent 3 emails to all of the people I worked with that night and never got a response from any of them. I would not recommend this dealership. If you choose to do your business here, make sure you fully inspect every aspect of your vehicle before purchasing. There Service department could not believe a vehicle was offered for sale in this condition. I would 100% not recommend buying a used vehicle from this dealership, they will not honor damages to the vehicle. My trunk has holes in it from the license plate not being mounted properly, it is littered with dents, and they don't even want to cover a $25 broken air vent. My vehicle is still in fleet mode with MyNet, and they have no answer for that. I did not get to inspect the vehicle, they pulled my vehicle from the backlot at 8:30 pm before it was even ready to be put up for sale. This is abysmal treatment of a paying customer. Out of good faith Carl in the service department is working with me to attempt to make it right. Sales floor is no help after you leave the dealership. They've made their money and that's that. I leased a 2024 Volkswagen ID.4 in January and have been dealing with ongoing electrical issues ever since. After multiple calls to Volkswagen Customer Care, I was finally instructed to schedule a service appointment at any dealership to have the car looked at, and I was explicitly told that I would be provided with a loaner vehicle while mine was being serviced. Following these instructions, I contacted Riverside Volkswagen to set up the appointment. To my surprise, I was told by their staff that they would first need to "run it by the service manager" before even confirming an appointment or providing a loaner. That is not what the customer care representative said. I'm now caught between conflicting information from Volkswagen's corporate support and the dealership, and I'm no closer to getting my vehicle repaired or a safe alternative to drive in the meantime. This kind of disorganized and dismissive treatment is unacceptable. I have communicated my experience back to the customer care team, but I've received no resolution. Frankly, I feel misled and ignored. The car feels unsafe to drive, and the lack of consistent support from Volkswagen has only worsened the situation. Took me two days to even get my appointment in for an alignment and inspection which was advertised on their website. When i went in was told there was only one tech that could do alignments and that i should come back 3-4 days later. I ended up waiting and the alignment was good but there was absolutely no inspection done on my car: i was told by my advisor "yeah he looked at it and said it looked good nothing to worry about" Never heard of a professional inspection doing that way but i will definitely not be going back to here. I recently took my car to the VW Dealer in Riverside for an oil change and coolant service. The service seemed great at first, and I was told everything was fine. However, ever since, my car has been making a whining noise and isn't shifting smoothly when accelerating. Please read All. I brought in my 2010 VW beetle with 87,000 miles which has consistently been taken in for an engine oil change and transmission service, well taken care of. I took the car into this dealership for the first time (metro auto group- riverside VW) for a basic oil change and transmission service. Couple days later, I left the dealership and drove down the road. I started hearing some odd noises then the dash lights started coming on. I didn't know what was going on so I turned around and headed back to the dealer. The service tech took the car in the service bay and I watched him work on the car for an extensive amount of time. In frustration I walked into the service bay and watched over the technician as he put over 5 quarts of oil into the engine. Obviously the technician forgot to put oil into my engine and let me leave the dealer with zero oil. I told the service supervisor that he destroyed my engine and caused major wear to key components lifters, bearings, cam all internal components because no oil. The dealer states that "the engine is perfect" and to remove my vehicle immediately off their premises otherwise it's going to be considered an abandoned vehicle. After multiple conversations with management at the dealership and with the Metro Auto Group management they will do absolutely nothing to take responsibility of the engine damage this dealership has caused to my vehicle. They ruined my engine and told me everything is perfect, all lies!! Buyer, service customer, trade in persons all be aware! Do not do business with this shady dealership, they have horrible customer service from management staff to service bay. They will not take responsibility for the mistakes they have made! I realized I needed the first service on my Tiguan done before an ucoming trip and called in to see if there would be any chance of getting in the same day for it. The very pleasant lady who took the call was able to schedule me and I headed on over. I was greeted by a very professional gentleman in the service drive who checked me in on his iPad and then introduced me to my advisor Christian who was super courteous and effecient. My GolfR got 10k miles so I needed to get the car serviced and tires rotated. I called riverside VW to schedule an appointment and the person on the phone was ready to schedule my appointment, she also mentioned that since I'm just doing an oil change I can just show up for their express lube. That's what I opted for. Saturday, rolled up got my service writer was new but his professionalism made up for that, even though I was technically a waiter, he kept me updated on the status of the oil change as well as asking me if I wanted my car washed afterwards. Word to the wise, unless you don't care about your car, do not have it washed especially with those machines. Nothing says I hate my car more than subjecting it to the whip machine. Anyway, they have a window where you can watch the techs working and I was able to watch the tech do my oil change and tire rotation. Let me tell you, this guy is as detailed as me when it comes to performing these tasks. He even went as far as wiping down my engine bath with a shop rag so there wasn't any dust on things. No lights on dash except tire needed air which my initial paperwork indicated. Car had no issues. Update was suppose to take 4 hours but was finished in 2....When they finished with it ecp light was on and car was shutting off at acceleration and had little power. Please do not buy from this dealer. My daughter bought her first new car from them, a 2024 Taos. She has been adamant about her regular service visits. Now, one year after buying the car and just 2 weeks after her last service visit, the car got a "low coolant" light. She filled the car and took it directly to the dealership. After one day, service called her and said "there are no leaks, you can come pick it up." After we pushed the dealership with questions like "If it didn't leak out, where did it go?" we initially got responses like "air pocket". It took some additional calls for not only 2 people from the dealership to admit, but also a representative from Volkswagen to admit, that this model is known for "puking coolant" and the problem being a faulty head gasket. Knowing this and admitting it, they refuse to fix or replace the car. We have had the owner call us and threaten us to return the rental car and pickup our car or "it won't be good for us." I have never experienced a dealership know about an issue, and be so defiant about resolving it. Their solution is to "keep filling it up with coolant and wait for it to happen again." The owner actually threaten to fire one of the employees who was honest with us about knowledge of the issue. read more

VW is saying that I was supposed to bring the vehicle to them first even though it's a Dodge and they would then send it to the Dodge dealership. Does that makes any sense? So Sean from Volkswagen would not release and authorize the coverage instead he requested an insurance inspector to go to Dodge to verify the repairs, one reason being my warranty so close to being expired.
