Great service at reasonable costs, what more do you need? Grace is a sweetheart behind the counter, and the mechanics are very nice and friendly. I went here because of the positive Yelp reviews, and I was not disappointed. I called just after closing and left a message, but was not able to make an appointment. I showed up at 8:00 AM the next morning just in case and they had received my message and took a look at my car. The A/C had gone out a week or so before while I was on the road. It started smoking under the hood, no cold air, then started a howling noise. I knew it was not going to be a cheap fix. They had me up and running that day by the early afternoon, after replacing most of the major components in the A/C system, and at a very reasonable cost. I brought my 2016 Hyundai that we worked on but just could not figure what still was making a sound where we had some new struts replaced. Luckily it was a semi quick fix and the owners were so kind. I called early in the morning because most shops are closed weekends and I walked right in. It's a small shop so be patient of course but Jeff I think is the owner was so nice. Up front prices and still cheaper for a diagnostic/ repair than the dealer. Would come back again. Now my car is running so smoothly and no more clunky sounds. Super grateful for how fast they were and just in time to enjoy my weekend with peace of mind. Highly recommend this shop. Very competitive prices for other services as well from what I saw posted in the shop. They take most major cards so that's a nice bonus. Other places make you over pay and for some reason, my car leaves the shop in worse condition than it came in (trying to make me come back for more money). I'm so glad I found this place, the mechanic doesn't try to make me unnecessarily fix things that don't need repairs and the price is always right! I needed a major a/c repair and the dealership quoted me two month's mortgage. I'd rather sweat in the heat in my car. I called several other auto shops and they quoted me near the original cost because of excuse after excuse to run the prices high. This was the first place I called that said they can do it, and for much cheaper. I've been coming back here for repairs and maintenance since, and I've never felt like my car was being tampered with (unlike other crooked auto shops out there). We recently had my daughter car repaired here. Radiator replacement and valve cover gasket replacement. They gave us a very reasonable price and were able to work on the vehicle right away. A couple days later my daughter's car stopped running and it looked as though it needed an alternator. We brought the vehicle back to Ace and they checked the alternator. They informed us that the alternator was good but the wiring to the alternator was bad. They then informed us that they had repaired the wiring at no cost. They could have easily charged us 1 labor hour for $120 to repair the wiring but they chose to help a loyal customer. This type of service is almost unheard of in today's automotive repair business. In my experience Ace auto service is honest and doing business in good faith and doing a great service to their customers. I would recommend Ace to anyone in the Riverside area. Finally found an auto shop I can trust! I came in with my 2013 Corolla for an oil change, smog check, and also had my brakes serviced. Owners Jeff and Grace were friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. They told me I only needed the front brakes swapped out after checking which side is actually worn out. They provide all the routine services and also resurface rotors when applying brake pads. Grace was super patient and clear with my billing questions, and didn't try to upsell any unnecessary items.
