Our car is over 20 years old, so it now needs TLC, especially since the mileage is over 134,000. We have been to a few auto repair places in the past but never stayed dedicated to just one. For me, it was always what was open and available when we needed repairs on our car. I usually try to find someone open on weekends, the only time I'm off. But, we had a major repair that was needed and All Tech Auto Repair was referred to us. They are closed on weekends so at first, I wasn't willing to wait until a weekday. However, once I was told by yet another business, of how great and trustworthy they were, I decided to give them a try. And I am so glad I did! We have found THE BEST!! They have been taking care of our car for the past 2 years, and our car has been without issues thanks to them! Ruben, Liz, Manny, and the crew, truly care about their customers and cars. They take the time to diagnose the problem, discuss the issue and the repairs needed, then go out of their way to offer a great price. Not once have they ever caused me any worry or disappointment. And they always get the repair done right the first time. We have had to go to them for a couple of major repairs on our car, the last major repair being just recent. And now, thanks to them, I know we will now be able to hold onto our 22 year old car much longer. It now rides so much smoother, and it's quiet! It's so much better than it was before. After yet another not-so-good experience at Toyota, we took my car in to All Tech instead. The paperwork at Toyota mentioned collapsed shock absorbers and torn CV shafts. Ruben put my car on the stand to check these out. He came back to tell us that these looked okay and were actually not in need of repair. The honesty is a plus for us! He even took photos and showed us what the parts looked like so we could get a better idea of what was going on. I have all of my mechanic work done at All Tech off Indiana and Monroe. The are a young couple that own it. I met them when I worked as an Insurance Adjuster, and have used them ever since. They do great work, and are quick and reasonable. They saved me hundreds on my A/C. I was told my entire system needed to be replaced, but he diagnosed that it was an issue with one of the radiator fans. They are also one of the only shops in town that will let you buy your own parts and they'll install them. I won't bring my vehicles anywhere else. Be careful. Angel and crew talked me into a $300 tune up. I drove my car 400-500 feet out of the parking lot when he was done and it begin to shake and misfire horribly. I barely get it back and he said he'd fix what they had done. He couldn't. He told he took it for a test drive which was untrue. He said it was my fault since I drove it off the lot and it was my responsibility and he wouldn't help. It was fried up rings and broken spring caused by the misfiring of the faulty tune up. Save time and money and take your car to the dealer. In the long run you will save! Had two parts replaced at this shop. One never completely functioned properly and took car back several times to advise still having intermittent problems even with the new part (now I wonder if it ever was a "new" part). Each time they'd reset computer and send me on my way, only to have same problem occur again and again. The second part, a completely separate issue did work for about 3 years, but I've been told this part is now starting to fail and I'll be replacing it again soon. The original lasted about 10 years. I think these parts are used and refurbished. So in the long run its cheaper at the dealer. They use new, factory parts that typically last a long time. read more
