Those of y'all who live in Riverside / the IE are lucky to be near this auto shop. Two years ago, I was in need of an honest mechanic. Their customer actually referred them to me. I've brought my car there various times. At first, I stopped by for a simple oil change. Then over the last two years, I stopped by for high pressure fuel pump and catalytic converter replacements. Good and honest work. My car is so happy. She's 137,000 miles in and runs wonderfully. Cynthia is also my favorite! She is always so welcoming and sweet. So grateful to have a go-to mechanic that I never have to question! I've been taking my 2008 Nissan Altima here for years! This time my AC went out, first time in the 16 years that I've had my car. Daniel confirmed I needed to replace the AC compressor which I wasn't sure I was willing to spend on since my car is older and my wife has been insisting we get rid of it to buy a new car. However his price was 1/3 of what the dealership was charging and it made sense for me to just fix it considering it would be equivalent to only 1-2 monthly car payments vs 5 years of that same payment with a new car. His wife got the parts the same day and was able to fix it within 5 hours on the day I was available to drop it off. AC has been running great since! Some may not agree but I've save a lot of money not having a car payment for 12 years now and thankfully Daniel has helped maintain the longevity of my vehicle too and at a reasonable price that makes sense to keep vs buying new. Took my car in a few months ago to get water pump replaced. My old mechanic was gonna charge me almost double the price, simply because I think they didn't want to work on it because it was too much work for them. Got a quote from Champion and they charged me a fair price. Then recently my engine light came on and my boyfriend ran the code and it said something was wrong with spark plugs and my old mechanic again was saying without even looking said well that car normally needs cylinder replaced. That was gonna be about 1k. So my boyfriend took my car into Champion, they tested it and they were honest and it was only spark plug and coil ignition. Which cost almost less than half the price of the other mechanic. We will definitely start coming back here for other car repairs and maintenance. read more

Great experience. Called because our Mini Cooper had a dead battery, AAA told us the alternator was also possibly bad and then we started getting warning alerts the brake system was malfunctioning. We took it in. They could have run up the bill with all kinds of work, but instead called us a couple hours later to say the car is ready. Needed only a battery. Alternator was fine as was the brake system. Charged us only to replace the battery and we were good as new. Great service and integrity. read more

I've been a loyal customer for years, my Jeep, 4Runner and Silverado 2500. I brought the 2500 in because the A/C was not working. The first day he changed the censors, belt and charged the system, he said it was only half filled. He ask for $500.00 and I paid him cash, the only hitch was it still did not work. After looking around a bit he asked me to join him under the truck upon which he showed me the damage the broken belt had mad and told me I needed a new compressor and the cable. I said ok and came back after the weekend. In order to anticipate the amount of cash needed for the remainder of the job, I looked up the price of the A/C compressor on line. There were many with an average price of $150.00, when the truck was ready they asked for another $700.00, $325.00 for the $150.00 compressor. I showed the Gentleman the prices on line and he said, "Oh, we add 30% on to all the parts". $175.00 on top of the $150.00 true price is 116.666 % extra. That is bad luck ripping people off! read more

Another 5-stars for Champion! Took my car in after the battery died and, after jumping it to drive down, it started blinking all kinds of warning lights. I was pretty stressed by the time I pulled in, but they came out immediately to greet me and take my problem child car off my hands (still running so it wouldn't die again) and sent me into the office where the nice woman inside (apologies I don't remember her name) remembered why I was there from when I called, told me they'd take care of it today, and that was it. So easy! And sure enough, later that day my battery was replaced for a super reasonable price - and they checked all the other blinking warning lights (brakes, check engine, alternator) and said everything looked good. This made me feel even better about Champion and their integrity that they did not take advantage and charge me extra for work I didn't need. Thank you Champion for a great experience! read more
