I don't review much, but this store deserves it. The guys that work there are super helpful and friendly (I was in there twice, but didn't get names). I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and asked what my project was both times. I got full lessons in how to clay and polish my car, including the best products to use and why. I generally don't like shopping in person, but the employees make me want to go in. Because of this great service, I've decided to get everything I need to do my own car washing and paint care at home. What a good experience it had been shopping there. I really hope the boss reads these reviews. The staff is excellent and deserve raises or at least a bonus from time to time. Thanks to all the staff at Detail Garage for the help and advice. read more

Thank you Tyler and Tye for the awesome service today! I always appreciate when I receive great service!

Called in to ask if they're willing to wait literally no more than 3 minutes after closing for me to purchase 2 items, they tell me they can't, I'd have to be there before 6. Understandable. I manage to rush there in time to check the door at 5:58, 2 minutes before closing, and everything is locked up already. I ended up walking away empty handed while their employees just stare at me. I get that they want to go home but I already knew exactly what I was getting and I technically got there before closing. They also knew I was on my way because I told them so over the phone. This was my only chance to drive out here and they made me waste my time. Now I'm going to just buy a competitors products because they didn't want my money. read more

I come here to buy some what often when I need something. They have a good selection of things. What i don't like is ; The workers are very pushy and ask every 5 seconds if you need help. Even after telling them I was just looking or that i know what I'm looking for. They follow you around like you have money falling out of your pockets. It's very annoying. I also don't like when one worker recommends something and then when you come back and they try to sell you something else and you say what I bought before wasn't correct. SMH Managers/ owners please stop your workers from being overly pushy or asking customers every 5 seconds if they need help. read more

I highly recommend this shop. They have great customer service. They answered all my questions.

Chris you're right it's like shopping for candy I had fun man I can't wait to come back. read more

When in today for the first time and thought I was going to be intimidated being the only female, but was not. Walked in and Gil helped me right away and was very helpful. Asked about taking off residue on window and he showed and tried the product in my vehicle and was sold right away. Also asked about interior cleaning and window cleaning products. Did not try to push and sell on items I did not want, which was great. Did not make me feel dumb about the questions I was asking. Used the products right away and everything worked great! Overall would go back and recommend. Great service. read more

Shine Zociety - Clean and ready to ride thanks to detail garage riverside. - Auto Parts & Supplies Near Me - Riverside, California

Found a bottle of CHEMICAL GUYS air deodorizer in a coworker's tow truck. It was the Black Frost scent. Smelled pretty good! So I read the bottle and checked out their website. A couple days later I was talkin to my coworker about it and was advised that DETAIL GARAGE in riverside carried the product. So the next day, I was in the area with my son and stopped in. Nick, the employee, welcomed us. He asked if I needed help and guided me to the CHEMICAL GUYS products. I sampled all of their scents. I went with the Black Frost. Nick, rang us up, and we departed. It was a nice experience in the store. Will definatly be back! read more

Already know the product was good, i had visited the garden grove/ santa ana location before and the guy there was not very helpful and thankfully i found one by my house and Anthony was there, keep up the good work man I'll definitely be going back for more soon read more

First time here. Found it on YouTube. Garrett helped me locate the products I wanted very quickly. He never tried to upsell me on stuff I didn't want. We simply had a conversation to determine my needs. Did not feel sales and sleazy at all. I loved my first time experience. I will definitely be coming back thanks to Garrett. I spent a little more than I intended but that's cause I got some extra products that I already use so that I do not need to come back for a month or two. This is a great shop and I highly recommend it. I will be coming back for their classes as well. Thanks Garrett & Detail Garage. read more

The staff is absolutely fantastic. I was looking into buying some ceramic coating for my 2019 Dodge Charger R/T. They were very knowledgeable on the subject and even sat down with me to show me how this stuff works on a used car hood. They were very honest too about the hype for it but nonetheless, the product worked great. Even after the rain in Fontana, my car was remained squeaky clean on the paint. Also, the car meets at this location are really fun. Overall, great experience! read more

I'd like to take a second to say that I have been building my chemical guys arsenal with tons of products, I've been to 3 different locations and have hands down had the best experience in Riverside, Gil spent whatever time he needed with me to make sure that I was clear and understood what I was buying and why.... he made sure I didnt walk out with things I didnt need and left me room for my next visit. I'm new to buffing and bought the Torqu10FX DA polisher with some product, I spent this morning polishing and waxing and I cant wait to take the chemical guys class in the near future. Very reasonable and friendly but above all, knowledgeable. Whenever I have questions these guys have the correct answers. Sure you'll spend some money up front but it's worth it if you're taking care of your car or others.
