I took my Mini Cooper for a repair and service. The experience was excellent. First of all, communication was handled expertly throughout the whole experience. They explained everything they found in their inspection of my car, and I was satisfied with the work, and the fair price I paid. I highly recommend GT Imports!! read more

I initially called and spoke with Vinh. He explained everything involved with the A/B Mercedes service, including price and availability for appointment. I arrived and met with Walter who confirmed everything. I picked up my car today during same day service and was provided follow up information for future reference and services they could assist with. This is a professionally operated service center and one that I would highly recommend. read more

I brought my 2018 Mercedes Benz C 300 here to get the service B. Very good customer service overall and a great experience aside the fact that they did take quite a bit to get the job done. There was quite a few cars on the lot so I could definitely see why it took a while. They followed up with me in regards to running A little behind schedule so I definitely appreciate that. At first I was a little bit skeptical about bringing my car to a different service other than the dealership but I was referred here by a friend and decided to give it a shot. But save me a little over $100 from going to the Mercedes-Benz dealership. I do plan on continuing servicing my car here read more

Update on the timing belt service we had. a long with the other mistakes and on going problems, they said they flushed the cooling system since the water pump was changed, they had to drain the coolant. They flat out lied to us about that. I had the cooling system flushed and there was proof it was never flushed at all. When we picked the car up from them and drove 5 miles home, parked on our steep driveway and coolant and 3 engine brackets were coming out the bottom of the car. I asume they just pulled the water pump off and never even drained or cleaned up the coolant spilled all over the car. They did suspension work while doing the timing belt. How did they miss the pieces falling off the car? While doing both front control arms after they did the timing belt? They also screwed up the control arms and had the replace both of them. The bushings were tearing apart after 3 months. Either it was cheap parts or they did the job wrong. They Never Explained What Was Wrong. Not one word. Didn't show the parts they replaced. Not the same quality of work they used to do. Use caution if at all. I know 100% that they lie to cover up!! This place is the only review I have ever given. I update as I slowly learn the effects of their poor Quality of work on our car. read more

I take my car to Riverside BMW for any warranty work and bring it to GT Imports for oil changes, brakes, etc. They are professional and always provide service at a reasonable cost, completing my repairs quickly, and return my car to me in the same condition it is in when I drop it off. read more

Crooks, disguised in nice guys! They charged me 1200$ for a 2 hours labor job pretending they fix my car. They keep my car for almost 2 weeks to seal 2 injectors. I'll fill up a claim at the Federal Consumer Protection and I'll ask for my money in the Court. After I drove the car for 10 miles the engine light pop up and the car had the same codes like it had before. When I brought the car back they asked me to take it to a VW dealer. I sugest you to do the same things if you are scamed by this shop . I'll update and share my story on all local groups to be sure that they won't gone scam other customers read more

First let me say Audi sucks! They have a faulty transmission and they KNOW it. That being said , I had no choice and was forced to replace my transmission in my 2018 A3. Scott and his team helped me when no other shop could. Even when I started to catch an attitude with it taking a couple days longer then expected, Audi's fault NOT the shops, Scott handled me expertly. Thank you so much Scott...I'm a forever loyal customer and feel lucky I have a shop & mechanic I can trust. Can't say enough about how great the shop is. I appreciate how you guys went above & beyond for me. read more

They did a wonderful job we highly recommend if you are looking for an honest reliable mechanic

I have been using GT Imports now for two years to service my older Audi. I went to them after purchasing the Audi and having some concerns about its mechanical reliability. They confirmed some of the things I was afraid of, but walked me through a very open and honest process of which things to tackle first, how to budget for them, and how to prevent future damage. Having now used them for all of my regular servicing, we actually take all three of our cars now only to GT Imports, including our Ford. I far prefer GT over the dealership as they are more honest, more transparent, and frankly just a heck of a lot nicer. Depending on your car there is no such thing as a cheap and also good import auto expert. At GT I always feel like I am getting exceptional value for my money, and I trust them 100% read more

They serviced my car foreign car for several things and did a good job. Prompt and communicative. I would recommend

Joe, Ruby, and the whole crew at GT Imports not only treat you like family, they care about you and your car. Been going there for almost 6 years now and wouldn't change if held a gun to my head! Honest, reliable, always efficient, and money conscious. I've had my Volvo, Infinity, Kia, and Honda all serviced there and never a complaint. Best auto repair in Riverside, hands down. read more

Dealership like quality of work & customer service, I'd say even better. They treat you like a friend rather than just another customer. Today I dropped off my car & in order for them to diagnose it they had to drive it around, I was expecting to have a little less gas when I picked it up but to my surprise Gt Imports filled up my tank with no extra charge. read more

I brought my 2008 Volkswagen GTI in to have it fixed from what needed up being a whole new headlight assembly. Scott from GT imports was amazing he stayed in touch with me through the whole thing through and through always updating me on anything new that was or may happen with my car not to mention he worked with me on price of parts knowing money was tight due to COVID19 I will be back here very soon to get more work done and refer my friends as well thank you Scott Soo much for everything. I have been taking my cars to GT for about five years. I switched when a previous shop closed and a friend recommended GT. I have taken six different vehicles to them including several still under factory warranty. I am fond of Volvo cars and Gary was at a Volvo dealer as I understand. So they have this expertise. But they have also serviced my Mazda and Acura just fine. I am a scientist and meticulous about having clean and well maintained vehicles. So I am not just looking for a quick oil change or necessarily the very cheapest service possible. I am looking for a long term relationship with garage that knows me and my vehicles. Let me list some positive attributes about GT. 1. They are honest. 2. They don't try to push you to do expensive repairs. 3. They always inspect your car and inform you of items that may need repair in the future. 4. They are local. 5. Laura, Scott, Gary, Ruby et al are friendly and treat you like they appreciate your business. 5. If a repair is not right they will adjust or redo gratis. 6. The garage area (and waiting area) is very clean and well ordered and techs dress neatly and uniformly. That says a lot about being professional and presenting that to customers. 7. You can speak to the tech working on your car at GT if you want. In truth, at a dealer, you have no idea who is working on your car or their level of expertise. You are forced to take the word of the service rep whose job is to sell you service. Having a good mechanic is like having a good doctor. They have to be competent and you must like and trust them. I would and have recommended GT my family and friends. read more

I have a 2008 VW Beetle that had the engine light go on. My story with GT Imports is long so I just want to say that there were problems trying to figure out why the light wouldn't go off, but Gary and his team went above and beyond to figure it out and succeeded to get the engine light off. This took some time and energy on their part as it was a difficult situation but they didn't quit until it got resolved. Some of the dealerships won't work on cars older than 10 years (especially VWs) so I was happy that they took this endeavor on. They all are professional and give you great service. I would highly recommend. Thanks Gary, Scot, Henry, Vin and Don! Appreciate you guys! Also, I am beyond picky and had just had my car repainted and the company I used ruined my car but eventually painted it properly and so I was very nervous leaving it. They took good care of it while it was in their possession. Thanks again! read more

My 2001 BMW 525i had a brake failure in San Bernardino on my way to an important meeting in Las Vegas. I had NO IDEA what I should do because I live in San Diego. Then, I found GT Imports on a Yelp search and had my car towed there after hours. The next morning I arrived and Laura was ready to help me. The entire experience was professional. I would recommend GT to anyone who can drive (or tow) your car there. This is a well run operation. They even went over the entire car and recommended what I should keep an eye on in my aging car. I wish I didn't live so far away because I would take my car there for service and repairs. Total 5 star experience. read more

Great to do business with, the staff was helpful, informative, and easy to deal with. My BMW went in for transmission pan, and the car was ready to go by the time they said it would be ready. I will definitely recommend this shop to other people who are in need of a shop for their BMW repairs. read more

I'm always wary of mechanics. To me they're right up there some how with Lawyers. But these guys are awesome!! Took our Toyota 4-Runner here. They were honest, telling us what we did need and telling us what we didn't. The were excellently priced. We had them take care of a bunch of little stuff. Ruby (owners wife) is a fire ball! Hysterical to talk to. Would definitely trust them with our car again. read more

I just want to thank Scott, Anthony, John, Lori and most of all Ruby and Gary. GT Imports have been in my life for many years and they are the best. GUYS!! THERE'S A REASON WHY THIS PLACE HAS AMAZING REVIEWS!!! My past two cars have been a 2007 Saab 9-3 wagon and a 2004 Volvo XC90 T6. Having to own European cars, I've been forced to look for specialty mechanics to fix my cars whenever a problem arise. The last place I took my car to, it took them over 2 weeks to get the problem fixed (took them over a week just to even LOOK at the car). During those two weeks, I had to rent a car and the longer the company took to fix my car, the larger my bill accumulated. I was definitely NOT a happy customer. Last Friday, I called in to make an appointment to get my car checked out. It's been making a bunch of clunking sound so I knew I needed it to get looked at. I talked to Scott on the phone and he was super nice, told me the diagnostic charges, and put me on the calendar first thing Monday morning. Long story short, my car had a lot of things that needed work. Originally we made an appointment on the following Thurs to bring the car in, but when the water pump was leaking real bad, they made room for me to bring it in the following day. Scott told me he was going to get me a rental car (on THEM) so I didn't have to worry about not having transportation. Mind completely blown - that has never been offered to me before. Not only that, but they took care of a few repairs for me (free of charge) and when the car wasn't returned back to me at the time they promised, they threw in a free oil change! I've never had so many freebies that I didn't ask for! Scott, John, and Laura were all incredibly friendly and talked to me like they cared. Every problem was explained carefully and I never felt rushed or blown off. This place is the real deal guys. They just made me a customer for life! read more
