**UPDATE** Thank you to Cameron for the initial call and Paul, the parts manager, for reaching out after this experience with the parts department. Paul apologized for the negative experiences I've had there and also got me the information I was looking for in regards to the GM Performance lift for my Silverado. It does illustrate, however, the lack of customer service/effort that the front of shop employees offer considering they could have, too, found this information for me. Moreover, the way Paul went out of his way to resolve this issue illustrates a well experienced and caring Manager. I truly hope he can get the gears turning correctly for the general staff under his leadership. In conclusion: in support of Paul and his true care for customer satisfaction, I will return in the future. However, I will only feel comfortable rating 4 stars for now until a true change of morale is displayed by the front of shop staff during my future visits without having to be spoken to by a Manager. Thank you again Paul! I hate to leave anything less than 5 stars because the Service department is solid. My recent visit today was for a standard oil change on my Silverado and I was assisted by Cameron. He explained all processes and offered extra services without feeling pushy or demanding. On the other hand, and the reason for the 3 stars, is because the Parts department is horrible. These guys must really hate their jobs and/or their lives because of how they ALWAYS treat their customers rudely. Im a very patient and respectful customer as I work specialized retail myself. I have visited this location multiple times for parts pick ups and they always seem standoffish and rushed even though there is nothing going on in there. Today, despite past experiences, I walked over to inquire about the GM Performance lift for my truck since I was already here and I'd expect these parts "experts" to have the ability to help with this. I was wrong. Once I was noticed in the building, an older guy asked if I needed anything. When I explained briefly what I was looking for, he immediately said theres nothing I can do and that I can do the same search on the GM Accessories website that they would do. For the record, I had been doing countless hours of research for this but could not find my solution which is why i figured going directly to the dealer would be the next best option. He didnt falter, he didnt even pause to think about how he may be able to assist me further to potentially bring business to their dealership. Once this happened, i paused, started to walk away, and I stated why are they always so rude here and it was then that he tried to call me back into the building. Im sorry, but no customer wants to initially feel pushed away and then told to come back. Business was lost for them today. Im a manager at my place of business and if my employees treated any of our customers like this, who took the time to be there and present a question, they would no longer be a part of my team. But maybe those are simply my standards. Judging by the consistently rude, careless interactions from these guys, Chevrolet Riverside either doesnt care or they havent been made aware of this poor customer service from the Parts department. It makes you feel real low to be treated this way. In retrospect, this negative interaction also just lost potential profits for the Service department because the install would have been performed at the dealership. I will definitely no longer be visiting this location for anything besides service. And I truly do hope that this negative vibe in that department be rectified for the sake of the dealerships reputation and the sake of the loyal paying customers. read more

Update: I was able to speak with Tony and GM Corporate, who will be assisting in navigating this situation. The matter remains unresolved and, at this point, appears to be a potentially lengthy and expensive process. I appreciate the time and attention everyone has given to this situation thus far, as well as the continued ability to use a rental vehicle while this is being addressed. Dion, you have truly been a standout throughout this process. My wife, Benjamin, and I sincerely appreciate your character, professionalism, and the way you've handled this difficult situation. I have formally expressed my concerns through the appropriate escalation channels with GM, and the intake team was very helpful in ensuring those concerns were documented and elevated. For anyone interested in the safety aspects surrounding this incident, I will share the NHTSA report when it becomes available. read more

Thank you for your response, appreciate that the dealership submitted the goodwill request to General Motors. That's a lie since I reach out to them. They told me that didn't happen However, my concern isn't only that GM denied goodwill assistance. My concern is that I had to bring my 2021 Silverado back to the dealership for the exact same transmission-related issue after the initial repair. That raises questions about whether the root cause was fully diagnosed and corrected the first time. The day I took it I had the print of the codes of what was wrong with the truck it match to the ones given to me at the dealership Since the problem happen again and I took with me the codes of the past and most recent ones after picking up the truck. I understand the dealership cannot control GM's goodwill decisions, but customers also expect repairs to resolve the problem. Having to return for the same issue is frustrating, especially considering the downtime and inconvenience. I hope the dealership and GM will continue working with customers experiencing repeat transmission concerns, particularly when similar issues have been reported on these vehicles. My goal in leaving my review was to share my experience honestly so others understand what I went through. read more

Craig Davis checked me in for a recall on my 2017 Traverse and he immediately called his Technician to see if he can work on it immediately at 4pm and they got it done in 45 minutes. Even with the basics, this place stinks. I knew exactly what I needed to get done and wanted a quote. Caged once and guy a receptionist that had me find white she investigated then hung up on me. Called back and got an AI agent that tried several times to transfer me to a service representative but simply put me back into the can answer loop recording. When I drive down to get the quote in person the service "professionals" were standing a circle talking and ignored me in the service line until I got out of my vehicle to ask thr question. When I finally got the quote is was far above any independent repair center. Overpriced and bad service. Would be my last choice. read more

I spent the whole weekend shopping for a car. Curtis McCoy at Chevrolet was a kind and helpful sales associate that followed up without hounding or pressuring me. He opened the cars that I was interested and even though I found a car that I liked, he didn't push me to look at the numbers. I needed the time to do my research and sit behind the wheel of several cars. If you need a car, go find Curtis, he will make it a nice experience. read more

"Oh no, what could improve?" EVERYTHING!!!! Chevy (at least this Chevy) is one to avoid altogether! They knowingly sold me a lemon! They sold me a car at 5,000 miles and just so happened to not mention the fact that it already had transmission issues. At 50,000 miles I had to have a whole new transmission which failed as they fried the TCM ( brain of the tranny ) and it still wasn't right, it needs a new transmission still! But I have gotten rid of my pretty paper weight! I bought the extended warranty and what they also managed not to divulge was that it started 9 MONTHS BEFORE I BOUGHT THE CAR! So when my transmission issue came up it should have been covered but it was JUST out of warranty and no one would talk to me. They all said I was S.O.L. And I mean EVERYBODY!!!! With 1 exception, a service guy named Craig Davis listened and made sure I was taken care of and he communicated well with me and my brother. I want NOTHING to do with Chevy! Ever again!! But I would love for Craig to get a better job at another car dealer. He needs to abandon ship with Chevy and join a real company who helps their customers and not knowingly screw them over! Save yourself a lot of heartache and money and go somewhere else!!! Edit to respond to Tony: That is not the truth! They DID change out issues with the transmission prior to selling it to me at 5,000 miles. At 5k miles it shouldn't have transmission issues! Don't lie to make yourself look good. At 50k miles it shouldn't have transmission issues. Especially with how nice I drive and take care of my cars! read more

On March 11th I took my 2019 traverse in for some rattling noise coming from what I thought was the mufflers. I was greeted immediately by Craig, and my vehicle was checked in to be serviced. Craig explained the process and made sure he got my vehicle serviced quickly. On top of this, I had a work meeting to get back to, so they quickly arranged a ride home. I forgot the name of the gentleman who drove me home, but he was very professional and nice to make small talk with. The work was done above and beyond what was needed based on the warranty and ready by noon for pick up. My vehicle is driving great. I would not recommend this dealership. I was told by the man I originally spoke with (he had a strong accent) that he would speak with his manager about a car I wanted. He never got back to me. I had to text him for an update and this man named Jason responded. He was so passive aggressive with his responses , I didn't even bother to move forward with any sale. He didn't care to assist/direct me to something that may be better fit. He had nothing but flat responses. He claimed to be a manager, I can't imagine a person like that as a manager, he ran me out. Ultimately, the short experience I had with this dealership was bad enough. As I shop for a new vehicle, I was able to meet and speak with other salesman from other locations and they were way more helpful. read more

Dealership it self is fine, Chevy cars on the other hand are complete crap ! 26 traverse z71 leaking coolant, bad heater core, brakes squeak like a 18 wheeler coming to a stop. I had contacted my concierge before discovering this place, but the concierge promptly guaranteed my options. I was explained rental was not out of pocket. All I gave was a safety deposit to their next door neighbor rental place, and it was returned after I returned the vehicle. Very understandable situations. I turned in the 2021 Chevy Bolt to the repair shop as it needed a manufacturer warranty repair. The vehicle was repaired and during repairs I was offered to test drive their new Equinox EV; However, I was offered a lease deal, and the mileage wasn't something I wasn't willing to do. I later decided to decline, but it's evident they check your credit if you do decide to choose a loan option. Loan interest rate was offered, but I decided to keep my car. It was up to me, and I kept the car. I was seriously considering the offer, but no hard feelings. read more

I typically would never recommend taking your vehicle to a dealership for service unless it's under warranty. However, when you find a good service advisor, stick with them. Almost 2 years ago I took my GMC Sierra to Riverside Chevrolet (because Dutton was apparently too busy for me) for a transmission issue, even though it was covered under my extended, Craig Davis went above and beyond to make sure that everything was done right. Countless hours on the phone when the warranty company because they didn't want to do what he was recommending. Ultimately he got me back up an running with no issues. This week I took it in because of leaking axle seals. Even though it's no longer under warranty I made a point to seek out Craig and he delivered yet once again. One of the things I appreciate most about Craig is his communication with me on the status of my vehicle. He kept me updated at every turn. If you find yourself needing service from Riverside Chevrolet, make sure you ask for Craig. He'll take care of you for sure. read more

Brought my car for a check engine light and oil change. I described the codes and issues and Craig was very knowledgeable. He told me right away what he thought the problem was. I was worried about getting swindled at the dealership and having to pay for even more "problems". A few days later Craig called and confirmed the simple fix was all that was needed and that I didn't need an oil change yet. Grateful for his honesty! He was very friendly and helpful! I highly recommend going here. However, be aware there is a diagnosis fee of $275, which I think is pretty standard these days. Oh by the way, don't take your car to Walmart for oil changes, apparently they don't check fluid levels. I will be taking the car to Craig for service from now on. read more

My visit to Riverside Chevrolet was fine and I genuinely like the truck I purchased but the follow up left a bad taste. Multiple calls from the salesman pressuring me to complete a survey and leave a good review before month's end felt less like a request and more like manipulation for a free tank of gas. What crossed the line: I was texted directly and told that answering the survey "completely satisfied" was required otherwise I "can't get this free tank of gas." I was also texted that coming in to recieve it would be impossible until the survey was completed. This is in writing. As a customer, I have every right to leave an honest review and that's exactly what this is. Tying a promised incentive to a specific rating isn't just pushy, it's manipulative and likely a violation of review platform policies. To other customers: I'd strongly encourage you to question the credibility of the reviews here. When a dealership pressures customers into leaving positive ratings in exchange for incentives, you have no way of knowing which reviews are genuine and which were manipulated. Riverside Chevrolet team need to rethink this approach. Honest feedback shouldn't come with strings attached. read more

Hi, I was trying to leave a review but my screen froze. Anyways, in my personal experience and after getting my car back from this dealership everything that was supposedly fixed isn't functioning correctly. As for the shaking while on a stop sign/light is and has been there even after a tech looked at it. According to Maria Jimenez, the tech said it's from the car itself. My car has about 53k miles. The shaking shouldn't exist on a car with these miles. I've had cars with 3 times the mileage and have NEVER shared like mine has. Also according to an email I received from this dealership is it says they're experts. Obviously not because Maria Jimenez wanted me to go elsewhere for a second opinion, really? I think your techs needs a refresher course on how to troubleshoot vehicles, fix them correctly or they simply don't care and want to get the cars out fixed half way enough for the customer to be happy and just get a paycheck. I paid my deductible for the repairs and I was hoping they would've been able the issue with the shaking so I would've paid my deductible once but it seems that I may have to pay for my deductible twice since Maria Jimenez recommended for my to get a second opinion. This is VERY BAD for business. read more

I bought a key & fob from the dealer because the told me it would be $99 to program and cut the key both the parts department and service department both quoted the $99. Once it was ordered and ready to be programmed they changed it from $99 to $279. I told them to give it to me for what they quoted and instead Ted in the parts department decided to refund me for the key instead of making good on his quote & while he told me he was going to try and talk to someone about getting it to me for the $99 and he would get right back to me. 5 days later I call him and say I've been waiting for your call and he says oh "I refunded your card" were you going to tell me? read more

My service advisor Ms. Maria Jimenez was 5 Stars. The service of my vehicle was completed in an efficient and timely manner. Kudos to the service team. Everyone was polite and welcoming. I was disappointed to find out the Gold Service Package was no longer an option to purchase. The way the consumer is getting raked over the coals for all goods and services under the incompetent Governor Newsome, it was nice to have an opportunity to save some money through one of your service packages. Unfortunately, the cost of $189.00 for a routine oil change now at your dealership is not cost effective for a family household. The 5 Star rating is for the service team. I bought my nightmare 2020 colorado truck from riverside chevrolet and it's been the worse truck I have ever owned. I've had it for 10 months now paid $30,000.00 out the door. Little did I know that someone working there cleared the codes on the morning of me buying it and did not fix the problems. They sold me a troubled truck and sent me on my way. Last Monday I took my truck in for service and it turns out the truck has over $18,000.00 in repairs needed. . 10 months I've had this truck $18,000,00 is ridiculous. there solution to me was they give me $16,400,00 for my truck that they knowingly knew had issues and I buy another truck? so knock off $15,000 in value and I'm suppose to pay them another $15,000.00 plus so I can get a different truck? At that cost I could have bought a brand new truck instead of someone else's problem. I can't believe someone actually cleared the codes on the truck when they knew I was coming and didn't fix the multiple codes which has led to this nightmare and thousands of dollars in repairs needed. They told me my loan would not go to them as they would forward all my paperwork to my credit union immediately. 4 days go by, THEY DID NOT FORWARD ANYTHING TO MY CREDIT UNION, no one contacted my credit union, I called and emailed the dealership countless times, no response. Until 6 days after my purchase they finally call me back and tell me that we are now past the 3 day time frame and that I now have to deal with GM financial and have my credit union do a refinance it them.
