Clark's has ordered some supplements for me in multiples, for a yearly supply, when I was unable to find them available online. All the individuals working at the Redmond location are professional, intelligent, super nice, and actively communicate with you, on any guidance or questions that may come up. Unfortunately, even though we've only been at Walgreens a short time, it has still been a stressful experience. It's very difficult to get through by phone, and there have been multiple times where I've been on hold for 20 minutes only to have the call disconnected. Prescriptions are not always ready when expected, which adds to the stress. We've had moments where we're close to running out of a medication and it's still "in progress," leaving us rushing to the store at the last minute. There also seems to be some kind of disconnect between their fulfillment system and the pharmacy itself. To be fair, this doesn't seem unique to this location. Many pharmacies these days appear to be short staffed and dealing with medication shortages, and it's clear the people working there are doing their best under difficult circumstances. I truly don't believe these issues are the fault of the staff, but rather a reflection of how these companies are being run. That said, the reason I'm giving three stars instead of a lower rating is because of Grant, the pharmacist. He truly went above and beyond to help us with several prescriptions. He was not only knowledgeable, but also incredibly kind and genuinely sympathetic. Instead of rushing through things, he took the time to really understand what we needed and jumped right in to help. It was such a refreshing experience and made a stressful situation so much easier. Grant is absolutely the shining light at this location and honestly the reason we're willing to stick around and hope things improve. Founded in 1922, Fred Meyer became a part of Kroger in 1998, and has provided the superstore concept for a lot longer than either Walmart (1988) or Target (1995). It's very large, with this location even having an upstairs marked as Apparel (though it was closed off...wondering if it closes after a certain hour). The bank inside is Chase, and there is a Starbucks outlet. It has both an indoor and outdoor garden center (with its own entrance and super bored cashier). Because it is owned by Kroger, the grocery section has all the sales and product that a Kroger or Ralphs would have. Even though it has a different mobile app than its siblings, it uses the same login for easier cross connectivity. There are quite a few digital coupons that save a significant amount of money, so it is definitely worth getting and using.

I shouldn't have to call my physician's nurse to find out the refill request was sent days earlier, even multiple times to make sure I received my medications. I would contact the pharmacy, they would say my meds were filled somewhere else and accuse me of wrongdoing. I finally told my physician I was calling the police to find out who refilled my meds, then calling the pharmacy to notify them I would contact the police as well. Miraculously, they (the pharmacy) would find my prescriptions, apologize, and let me know I would have them ready within the hour. In the middle of all this I was battling a crippling seizure disorder which made me unable to work and I was on "Obamacare." Some of their pharmacy plans limit you to certain pharmacies, which was extremely frustrating on my part. Now that I have Medicare and Medicaid due to not being able to work anymore, I have a choice of pharmacies to use. Not this one, ever again.

I called my insurance and bartell back and forth, and they kept saying it's not their responsibility. It's super annoying, so I had my insurance call bartell and they created a ticket to look into it. A couple days later, I called bartell and they told me it's just how much my insurance charges me for copay. It makes absolutely no sense because my insurance is telling me I don't have to pay anything. My insurance also told me they are double charging if the insurance is paying for the vaccine and I need to pay for copay. I'm extremely uncomfortable because bartell doesn't even update and asks me to follow up with them. I have to pay them a visit tomorrow again. This is insane, why would a drug store scam me from vaccines when insurance is paying for it 100%.... I have never paid anything for vaccines in the United States because preventives should be covered 100%. Don't come here for your vaccines.. go to Walgreens or Walmart instead. [Update 04/15/25] The pharmacy manager called and told me that the vaccine costs $105, so they have to charge me or else they lose money. Guess what? The retail price of the vaccine is $84.99 and with Good Rx it's only $54.18. I'm not sure why they get the vaccine at a higher price or maybe they are actually trying to make money on vaccines, but I'm never gonna get any vaccines from this place again. It's also weird that they told my insurance company the copay is an administrative fee but told me otherwise. The pharmacy manager, duke, told me it's gonna be the same everywhere else. Guess what? My insurance told me that has never happened in the past. Unless my insurance is lying, I highly doubt Duke knows what she's talking about and she probably never checked other drug stores beforehand. When I told him the place is starting to look like stores in Soviet Russia, he informed me that their holding company, Rite Aid, is going out of business. Therefore this location is not receiving any more merchandise deliveries until August 25. On that day, CVS will be moving in to set up shop at their Crossroads location. So if CVS Incorporated is reading this, give Nolan a raise!
