You can't come to Washington and not go to the famous Fred Meyer. Staff: Gage was the one employee that we encountered at self check out. He was very nice and helpful. Definitely think he's doing a great job. Quality/Quantity: The store has literally everything you can imagine. It has food, clothes, camping, gear, beds, lights, everything. It is truly a remarkable store that I've always enjoyed visiting when coming to Washington. Value: It seems like there are a really good prices here from the foods to the goods. Saw a really cool T-shirt that was on clearance for 50% off. However, be sure you have a membership as it is not 50% off without a membership. Overall: Big fan of the store always have been always will be. If you're in the Washington area be sure to visit.

Large 'everything' store in Bellevue. Fred Meyer for us in the Midwest meant the jewelry store, but here in the Pacific Northwest represents a Super Target like place where both department store items and grocery items can be purchased. We needed to get new Orca transit cards to ride the buses (we had forgot ours at home, and they don't offer the mobile way yet). One can purchase that from the Customer Service desk at the front, which took a LONG time. Everyone was pleasant, but because one of the associates was dealing with something with a customer that seemed to be taking forever, one manager had to man one of the stations while also racing around to help others. It actually gave me time to pick up some cold medicine, and the line had barely moved while I was gone. I'm not sure what Fred Meyer is classified as, from a credit card rewards perspective. Per reddit, it can be grocery or wholesale club. I guess I will find out once my transaction posts.

UPDATE APRIL 28, 2023: Hooray! I'm happy to announce that effective April 11, 2023, Fred Meyer (in Bellevue at least), by popular demand, now takes mobile pay (Apple Pay and Google pay). No more having to dig my credit card out of my wallet! It pays to keep asking cashiers who tell you they don't accept mobile pay "when are you going to get mobile pay?"

This pharmacy is open and exposed to the customers and some of the store, and as such you can really get a sense of how inefficient it is. There's often more than five people working here but many of them just seem to be standing around working on "something" while one or two max are actively helping customers. Maybe it's just that this particular pharmacy services more clients or something but compared to nearly every other place I've ever got my drugs from where there are like one or two people visibly working in the department, this one has like 3X the people but is three times slower. 90% of the time you're going to be waiting 10+ minutes to get helped. Everything takes forever. Once you finally get up the counter, despite you having a notice that your prescription is ready for pickup you're occasionally going to have wait an additional 15-30 minutes because apparently it won't be after all. And then there's the attitude of some of the people working there. On three separate occasions I've heard people working there been audible combative with customers on the phone or to the in person patrons, all in earshot of everyone in line. A few days ago an old guy was complaining quite reasonably in the general spirit of what I've described above and some guy in the desk behind the counter very loudly scolded him: "We are facing numerous organizational and personnel challenges right now and your attitude isn't helping. I've had six people quit on me recently." This guy should be fired NOW because if he's going to work in customer service he needs to grow up immediately.

It was an awesome shopping experience. The service was great and gave plenty of free parking.read more

Amoxicillin is an oral antibiotic that you can buy over the counter in any apothecary in Europe and most likely Asia. I have a gum infection below a tooth & this drug would make short work of the infection. But not here in the U.S. without a prescription. That means you have to visit a doctor $$$$$ which may not be cost effective for many. We also found a lot of doctors will want to run a bunch of tests, most just to make money for the doctor and no help to you. Do a search on Drugs.com and you will see it truly is a generic drug. I picked Walgreens simply because they probably have more clot as they are located in a hospital. I did a search of Canadian drug stores, could spend a week and get no where. I am not sure if contacting your Representative would help, I never got a response in the past from any. Remember they are in the pocket of big business and they don't give a rats about you. I know, I tried in the past contacting our Representatives and our Governor, you know that guy that has warmed the chair in Olympia for 12 years, and now thinks he is ready for a bigger chair in DC. - horrible service and high vaccine price -…read more We went to bartell drugs for our tdap vaccines. While it is covered 100% by my insurance, they charged us $30 and $40 copay, respectively. I called my insurance and bartell back and forth, and they kept saying it's not their responsibility. It's super annoying, so I had my insurance call bartell and they created a ticket to look into it. A couple days later, I called bartell and they told me it's just how much my insurance charges me for copay. It makes absolutely no sense because my insurance is telling me I don't have to pay anything. My insurance also told me they are double charging if the insurance is paying for the vaccine and I need to pay for copay. I'm extremely uncomfortable because bartell doesn't even update and asks me to follow up with them. I have to pay them a visit tomorrow again. This is insane, why would a drug store scam me from vaccines when insurance is paying for it 100%.... I have never paid anything for vaccines in the United States because preventives should be covered 100%. Don't come here for your vaccines.. go to Walgreens or Walmart instead. [Update 04/15/25] The pharmacy manager called and told me that the vaccine costs $105, so they have to charge me or else they lose money. Guess what? The retail price of the vaccine is $84.99 and with Good Rx it's only $54.18. I'm not sure why they get the vaccine at a higher price or maybe they are actually trying to make money on vaccines, but I'm never gonna get any vaccines from this place again. It's also weird that they told my insurance company the copay is an administrative fee but told me otherwise. The pharmacy manager, duke, told me it's gonna be the same everywhere else. Guess what? My insurance told me that has never happened in the past. Unless my insurance is lying, I highly doubt Duke knows what she's talking about and she probably never checked other drug stores beforehand. It's insane how people just assume things and tell you the wrong information.. Be aware!

Therefore this location is not receiving any more merchandise deliveries until August 25. On that day, CVS will be moving in to set up shop at their Crossroads location. So if CVS Incorporated is reading this, give Nolan a raise!

So after suffering all through the night, I finally got medical help at 400 AM on New Year's Day. The only issue was that there are no pharmacies for prescriptions in the Seattle area that are open 24 hours or on a holiday except this location. I called to make sure they were open before my doctor filed the prescription-the person on the phone (later I found he was the pharmacist) wanted to make sure he had the medication before I made the drive out, which was so kind because I was in so much pain. When I got there, it was about 20 miles. There were about 4 cars in the drive-up pharmacy lane, and 1 person in the store waiting in front of me. The pharmacist was by himself, working and taking care of a lot of people on a holiday was unbelievably kind, empathetic, and had a smile on his face for all the people picking up. This is the kind of customer service you expect when you are feeling miserable...
