I ordered the prime rib dip with fries, and my friend got the chicken salad -- we split both so we could try each other's entrée. Everything tasted great. Our server was very friendly and accommodating, and the whole experience felt relaxed and welcoming. We couldn't finish our dessert, and she even packed it up for us to take home, which we really appreciated. Overall, a great lunch spot inside Nordstrom. Clarins won the day. Went in on a Saturday afternoon to pick up some sparkly blush from Tom Ford that I had tried during a makeover and decided I had to have. Lynita From Valentino came over to assist because we couldn't find inappropriate person. She searched products and realized the one I was looking for was out of stock, even the sample is gone, so we tried another approach and found a sparkly eyeshadow set that would serve well. As she packed that up we started talking about perfumes and scents... and that's where her extraordinary sommelier-like knowledge emerged as she offered an incredibly nuanced description of the one fragrance based on an obscure reference that my friend made about a perfume designed with Tom Ford through Yves Saint Lauryn before he left there. They both bemoaned the fact that they were no longer able to get that particular sense in any store but Lynita has been able to describe it with exceptional skill. Based on that my friend and she launched into a discussion of currently available fragrances and on the way to introducing us to one, we passed the Clarins facial event happening. She recommended we try and introduced us to Soonja, who then made sure we were seated and treated to the experience of their new cryo-flash mask. Product immediately reduced the redness that is chronic to my face and it took less than five minutes. I sat through the rest of the facial knowing that was one product I would go home with, they were also offering promos which seem to make it worthwhile to get one more product and since it was my friend's birthday I decided to treat her to a lip oil. But the auto tone foundation/50 SPF they tried on me was so effective I decided it was probably a smart buy to pick that up as well. It turned out to be quite the shopping afternoon but well worth it because of the amazing Customer Service experiences we had and Clarence made sure we went home with some amazing promo products including gelato as a treat. NORDSTROM @ BELLEVUE SQUARE Parking is available in any of the parking garages, but I highly recommend parking near Nordstrom, on the side closest to QFC. There's plenty of parking available. While it can get busy on weekends, you should still be able to find a spot without too much trouble. I really like this Nordstrom overall. It has an incredible mix of different styles and brands, featuring both small businesses and well-known luxury companies. You'll find brands like Chanel, along with many others, all in one place. Nordstrom has three floors: the first floor is mainly shoes and makeup, the second floor focuses on women's clothing with several high-end stores, and the third floor is mostly for kids' clothing and shoes. I would definitely recommend stopping by. There are usually some great sales, especially around seasonal times. They also have a Nordstrom Café and their iconic Ebar, which offers Nordstrom's signature drinks. The staff here are very friendly, and the store offers a great balance of value and selection. I was excited to go to one of the large Nordstroms in the country. I used the personal shopper who really seemed like she'd rather be anywhere else she was professional at a very basic level she sort of got the job done but when I looked myself I realized there were so many things she could have pulled but she just did not. Kind of those things where somebody smiles at you through gritted teeth and you feel really uncomfortable. I came in with a pretty large budget I would have bought plenty of things but she just didn't show me enough and maybe there really wasn't the best stock but as I said when I looked myself I found a lot more options. Great store minus the snotty lady at Saint Laurent purse dept. I've been at least twice now everytime I'm here. Somehow we always end up parking here and walking though or end up shopping here. We went to the Nordstrom anniversary sale this year, catching the first two days of the icon event. Their selections were great for sale items and we especially enjoyed the awesome service from Maria in active sportswear, Katie in lingerie, Donald in Men's wear, and of course, Tobi in shoes. Ok where do I start? I would like to start off by giving a HUGE shoutout to Bekah in the designer shoe department. She seriously went above and beyond the call of duty to make a first time purchase , of a gift of Louboutins for my mother in laws birthday, extremely memorable. I had been messaging Bekah back and forth because my husband and I wanted to get my mother in law her first pair of Christian Louboutin's (Loubisharks) , for my mother in laws birthday. Since she was coming to Seattle from out of town, we thought we could purchase the shoes ahead of time and have all that out of the way, so when my mother in law went to the store, we were just acting like she was just trying them on , because she liked my Loubisharks and she tried on a couple different sizes , just to make sure that she had the correct size. Bekah knew that this was a birthday gift surprise and was excited to be a part of this. Bekah was absolutely amazing, tears were flowing when my mother in law found the correct size for her, and we told her that we had already purchased them for her , for her birthday gift from us. (That pair that we purchased, well , not only did my husband purchased for pickup at a different Nordstrom location, but we also purchased the wrong size), so, without panic, the night before this was all going to happen, the person at the Nordstrom location where the purchased shoes were, had received a call from Bekah to see how we could get these shoes to Bellevue for us. The associate that Bekah had talked to actually lived in Bellevue and offered to bring them to the store for us. (That's some freakin amazing customer service right there). Bekah had came into work the following day, text me and made sure she had time to be with just us, for this. We were offered water, or something to drink, and it was extremely impressive to say the least. Bekah was extremely patient and after a size was chose , Bekah had done a quick exchange, that we needed to do, and went and got a red Christian Louboutin bag and tissue paper to put the Loubisharks in. Very classy and extremely bad-assy of Bekah to make this such a special experience And she didn't have to, but she did because that's the kind of amazing person she is. Another reason why we shop at Nordstrom, almost every weekend. So, without panic this review, I would highly recommend that you come to Nordstrom for your next pair of designer shoes, and ask for Bekah. I promise, you won't be disappointed. Nordstrom at Bellevue Square has been one of my favorite stores for years, especially when it comes to shopping for my two daughters. During my pregnancies, I bought almost all of our baby gear here, including items from the Nonna brand, which is one of the highest-quality options for baby products. They also have an incredible selection of adorable baby clothes and kids' items. In my opinion, Nordstrom is the best place to shop for kids and baby products in general. While it's a bit pricey, the quality and variety make it totally worth it. Visited Anastasia Brow Bar right inside Nordstrom yesterday afternoon. Jessica is fabulous! Just looking at her perfect brows I knew she would be. She offered professional tips to keep irritation down but never needed to use them. First time I have left a wax appointment with no redness or irritation! She did a lovely job. Will be back! Easy to make appointments inside Nordstroms app. I made mine in the middle of the night! The beauty area is beautiful and so is the beauty bar. Of course walking through beauty I met a lovely sales associate who helped me find exactly what I needed while waiting. She suggested and I went home with Dior lip balm and Anastasia brow products for my post visit. All in all a fun visit. I noticed they have a nail salon and Drybar blow out bar too. The employees in men's in the third floor left much to be desired...the first time I walked over to men's fragrances sebastian made eye contact with me but did not greet me. I walked over to men's semi annual sale and there was a lady folding sweaters who saw me but similarly did not greet me. I walked back over to mens fragrances because at this point I'm in disbelief that a Nordstrom in Bellevue square would provide such lacking customer service. I then walked back to mens fragrances to test out my theory and surely enough Sebastian ignored me again. I had to go up and ask him a question for him to finally engage with me. The whole time he had his arms folded across his chest and did not seem happy to have to talk to me at all. I decided that I would take my business elsewhere, if that was the case. I hate shopping, but Nordstrom makes it easy and this one makes it super easy. Let me walk you through my last visit. I came to Nordstrom on a Saturday and had regrets because it was super busy. I wanted to retreat but the need for the immediate was pressing. I first went into the makeup section to pick up foundation. My preferred brand was swarming with people. I quickly find my liquid foundation because Nordstrom organizes their shelves but am lost on the powder foundation. A saleswoman from another nearby brand steps in and finds what I need and cashes me out. Fantastic customer service. Then it was to the men's shoe department because my best friend needed new shoes. He did not want to go, so I had to persuade him with lunch after. He took one look at the crowd there and wanted to go, but this needed done so I spy a salesman who had finished a transaction, caught his attention, told him what my friend was looking for. While this gentleman engaged me with humorous conversation he quickly deduced my friend was in a poor mood. He wasted no time and found the perfect pair of shoes. The whole experience was ten minutes, if that, and my friend left with the most comfortable shoes he's owned. And this is why I like Nordstrom. I hate shopping and Nordstrom makes it fast and easy. I don't know why my reviews from Nordstrom always revolve around a Creed fragrance purchase, but this experience took place at the Bellevue Square location this time. Oftentimes, both customers and associates forget about how important customer service is to the experience and branding. Each time I find myself in Nordstrom, regardless of location, I have experienced consistent and welcoming customer service. I don't know if it's because of all the terrible experiences elsewhere I have encountered, or if I have just expected to not expect much here in Seattle. All I have to say is Teresa from the Creed fragrance department was an absolute, top notch, pleasure to work with. She was very knowledgeable and engaged on trying to figure out what best suited my needs. I am well familiar with the House of Creed and I could tell that Teresa had my best interests in mind. She was very kind in providing some samples for Erolfa and Jardin d'Almalfi as I was looking for something a little different than Aventus. The samples didn't quite last on my skin like I wanted, so I reached back out to Teresa to gather some batch number information on Aventus. She responded in a welcoming and helpful matter to help me make my decision. In the end, I ended up with a flacon of Aventus. I also was so grateful for the customer service, I endulged in Oribe Gold Lust shampoo and conditioner. If you don't know, trust me and try it. All in all, because of outstanding customer service, Nordstrom as a brand is definitely a dependable and rewarding store that I will keep coming back to. read more

The personnel were friendly but I was extremely disappointed in their new alterations policy and the new return policy (giving 30 days to return). We now pay for all alterations (disguised as a debit taken from a pre-authorized alteration credit on my card). Once that credit is used you are on your own. I can think of a myriad of reasons why that policy is discriminatory, especially to the tall or short. What are they thinking? After a $278 purchase for a pair of jeans (which in of itself is ridiculous), I had to "pay" for my alteration. Regarding the return policy, that makes it very difficult for those that live a distance from the store. This is not the Nordstroms I once knew!! read more

Longtime shopper and longtime fan of Nordstroms at Bellevue Square. Why you ask well I'll tell ya why it's location is the best. I get provided with free parking and an upper crust clientele. No worries on getting mugged trying to shop nor a police presence like the downtown location offers. When looking for a trendy pair of designer sneakers I know I'll find the latest in $1000 options. I've purchased a few Prada sneakers plus some dress shoes for hitting the town in. Clothing options may very depending on season yet I can locate something to make the ladies go wild. Five stars for Nordstorms men and women shoes. Specifically shout outs to the two gentlemen that helped us. You will see them in the photos. I will update this review with their names. They were attentive kind efficient and you could really tell they were providing professional service without pushing the shoe. There truly is an art not just in sales But in authentically and professionally connecting with the customer. Both of these men did this effortlessly. You elt like they really enjoyed their work And certainly knew the products! We had walked in with a certain shoe in mind which they did not carry in store. We ended up walking out with two pairs of shoes and one on order to our home. We are pleased with all of them. They have a variety of lovely styles for a many budgets. If it weren't for the great staff, I don't think we would've walked away with any shoes let alone $600 of shoes. Outstanding customer service has been a consistent experience every time I shop at Nordstrom. I was searching online for a specific luggage product and Nordstrom in the Bellevue Square just happen to have the last one. The product was the Rimowa Original Cabin S in silver. I decided to stop by to take a look. I have to say the staff were absolutely amazing. A random sales associate noticed I was lost, promptly offered to help, and pointed me to the right direction. The luggage area displays were neatly arranged. Nordstrom carries various sizes of Rimowa (now I know where to go to complete my collection). Sindy, a sales associate working in the luggage department was very attentive and answered all my questions. I definitely appreciated the consultative sales approach. After a few moments of deciding, I purchased my first Rimowa luggage. The transaction only took a few minutes. These types of experiences are what keeps me returning to Nordstrom. The Bellevue Square Nordstrom is the second largest Nordy in the area, after Seattle. It's in excellent condition and well maintained. The staff is very helpful, looking up prices, items, sizes, etc. If I'm looking for something specific and don't want to fuss about going to multiple stores, Nordstrom is where I go. Shoes department is my favorite, though in the Seattle store, I go for the luxury purses. One of my other favorite departments is cosmetics, especially the facial creams, etc. I buy my yearly or semiannual supply during their 10 points days. Nordstrom is famous for their generous return policy. This store is no different. In fact, you can return things in all departments. A bra can be returned at the men's, the shoes department will accept cosmetics. Having a receipt is nice, but the sticker is sufficient. There are also two areas that handle "services", while one place is for pickups. I sometimes do in store pickup for things that need alterations. Lastly, a very popular addition from a few years ago is their bar, called Habitat. Genius move! Men get a drink and watch sports while waiting for significant others to shop, or ladies rest up after some shopping. It's often filled with customers. read more

I had a pretty bad experience this week returning a designer bag. The original bag that I ordered online was missing a strap. I took it in to the store and she was able to refund the bag and give me a new one with a strap the same day. Only issue: she attached a GIANT tag on the part of the bag which the strap goes that stated you had to leave the tags on to return the bag. Well I couldn't put the strap on unless I took off the tag. Once I put the bag on with the strap it was way too small and looked terrible. I called on the phone to ask if it would be ok if I returned it and the woman said no problem at all. When I went to return the bag for the last time unfortunately I got the rudest employee. She offered me a gift card instead of a refund... wtf?? I obviously wanted my $2000 back. Then she says she doesn't know which card I used and tries to tell me she "thinks" it was my Nordstrom card. Again... NO? It was my debit card. She was acting like I was a criminal or something. I felt extremely uncomfortable, especially as such a dedicated Nordstrom shopper! I hope the customer service can improve to what it used to be back in the day. read more

Holy moly. What an experience or perhaps lack there of. I am a longtime Nordstrom shopper, in fact I even worked for Nordstrom back in the mid 2000's, but this was my first time at the Bellevue location and it was a horrendous one. I had a good amount of gift cards and I was giving myself an additional large budget, but I can honestly say this location will never get my money. Not a single time was I approached by any type of sales associate. Even when one physically ran into me when I had about a dozen outfits in my arm looking for a size on a rack. Didn't say a word, just stared at me, then the pile of clothes in my arms and walked away. Made it to the fitting rooms, no one was there. Surprising. I stood for a while waiting for an associate to come in, stepped out, looked around to try to find one, but didn't have any luck. Finally one breezed pass me to let someone else in a room and I asked if I could have one. They let me in, nothing else was said. A bar for the hangers was broken, one of the dresses I had picked out was missing buttons, I would have liked different sizes, but again, no one was around. There was no where to put the clothing I didn't want, so I began the task of putting things back where I found them. Several associates saw me doing this, in fact three of them who had been huddled together since I went into that section glanced over and continued their chit chat fest. I walked around the shoe department with the shoe I wanted to try on, a Saint Laurent sandal to be exact, not a single person approached me and every time I finally would see one in the distance I would try to rush over they would turn the opposite way. I gave up on shoes because chasing people down to take my money isn't something I find enjoyable. The purses, my goodness, found the perfect one I didn't know I needed. Again, couldn't find anyone to check me out and by the time I did see someone, I had just set the purse back down because I was pretty disheartened and annoyed at this point. I thought, well I might as well have a quick look at the what David Yurman has going on these days, wasted all this time already, maybe the jewelry department will be better. Found it. This beautiful gold and pearl necklace. Stood there for a bit. Looked around to see if I could get someone's attention, but no cigar. It definitely made me question my loyalty to Nordstrom. It wasn't enjoyable, it was incredibly disheartening and irritating. I am not one to usually post a review, let alone a negative one because I generally find it unfair. This time though, I just can't let it go. It was fine dining prices with food truck service is the best way I can think to describe it. At least last time I was at the Tukwila and Pacific locations the experiences were still top notch. Bellevue though, trust me, don't go out of your way to go there unless you want to see associates walk away from you, huddle and gossip in small groups and chase down a fitting room with broken bars, gaps in the door and putting away the clothes for them. Too bad though, for me. Found some beautiful pieces that I wish I could have just asked someone to bring one size smaller, but I wasn't about to go and do that myself just to chase someone down to get into the fitting room again. Not when the top alone is $500. Stick to the other ones in the Seattle area or find a Saks, because this place is not it and kind of soured me on Nordstrom, despite what I thought was an undying love for them. Store is lacking service, selection, and style. Maybe will be better after renovation, but this store might as well be a Nordstrom Rack. Super disappointing. Lingerie department- no one offered help, when I tried to find someone they told me everyone was busy in the back and would come out soon. I gave up after waiting for too long. Shoe department- no selection. They used to be famous for their shoe department. Not anymore. Again couldn't find anyone to help find anything. Jewelry department- very small selection, a group of employees that ignored me, despite me obviously looking around, finally an older woman approached to help, but she wanted to push on me unstylish items that looked like they came out of a bargain bin. She suggested that I wouldn't want to spend too much on the designer stuff. Lol. As a side note, it's incredibly busy in here. And felt like I was at bargain store. read more
