Ariana was so incredibly helpful! This was my second time coming into Purpose and I walked in 30 minutes before closing time. This shopping trip I was looking for a work closet revival. She brought in so many options and I was incredibly impressed with her bubbly personality and genuine interest in what I was looking for. She quickly picked up on my style and recommended things appropriate for my job and things for my upcoming wedding events/honeymoon as well. When I go to Kirkland I mostly like to shop at all the consignment stores they have to offer but now Purpose has become my first place to stop!! I absolutely love their selection and the prices are reasonable for a Boutique. (Denim is around $60-$90 for example)... they carry flying monkey which I looove. Ariana is my favorite sales gal there and she makes everyone feel absolutely welcomed and loved lol. They always pair things I choose with other options that I of course end up buying. A much needed addition to Kirkland! Purpose Boutique is colorful, trendy and fun! Lots of dresses and jewelry which is the way to my heart! Really cute cozy wraps and sweaters paired with great necklaces that will make getting ready ( but staying warm) a snap! The price point is not too intimidating at all! And shop with a good conscience knowing that a portion of the proceeds goes to support local Kirkland non -profit that fights human trafficking. This place is fantastic! The clothing is very trendy, but also reasonably priced, which is somewhat difficult to find in this area. They have a nice mix of more dressy casual wear, sweaters, jeans, and accessories as well as jewelry. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and made recommendations and suggestions without being too pushy. I also love that a portion of all sales go towards helping women who have been exploited by the human trafficking industry. Overall, I will definitely be stoping here to browse again! read more

In any event, if either of those statements resonate with you, Purpose Boutique in lovely downtown Kirkland is the place to go. I wandered in one day before an appointment and saw a shirt I really liked. One of their awesome sales people walked by saying, "You know what would look great with that?" (Ha! you heard it too, right? The little voice in my head saying, "not a clue actually...") With her help I ended up with two tops and a pair of jeans that are all so comfortable, but even better, make me feel great when I wear them! As other reviewers have mentioned, the clothes aren't inexpensive but the quality is excellent, they have great sales and I love that every purchase brightens someone's day. I walked in today with the expectation of finding a couple cute outfits for my trip to Vegas in a couple days for work. I admittedly am not always secure in what styles to pick or how to accessorize. Emma was working today and I gave her a run down of what I was looking for. She went far and beyond to help my find the right fit. She put outfits together for me, consistently brought new and exciting things to the dressing room. She seemed genuine in getting to know me! I've lived in Kirkland most of my life, but never have had a desire to shop at any of the boutiques that line the downtown street. However, I found myself pulled to Purpose by a family member, whom was raving about it. I have to say, I absolutely agree with her! Purpose is a fantastic boutique. I received a top for my birthday this year from Purpose Boutique. I live in Seattle, and was unable to get to the shop until about a week ago. I browsed the space first, and decided to opt for store credit so I could return after the impending delivery of my second baby. When I attempted to return the top, the store clerk accused me of purchasing the top from the sales rack and attempting to return it for full price. After asking her to examine the receipt she then informed me that I was beyond the window for returns. I explained that I did not live in the area, and she shrugged and told me I could not return the top. I left the store frustrated and disappointed. It is likely trendy shirt could have easily sold on their sale rack (as the clerk had believed), and I would have returned to spend my store credit, plus my own additional cash on other items in their store. As it stands now, I have spread the news to all my friends to NOT shop here due to their rigid and backwards return policies. I will not be returning to this store. read more

What ever you do DON'T SHOP HERE! The employees are so phony and their clothes are terrible quality. The last time I was in the employees were talking badly about a customer and quickly stopped and put on fake smiles when I walked in. It's a joke. If you want clothes at that price point I suggest going to Marlowe in Bothell. They have a better selection and the owner is nice.
