After just one wash, the sweater shrank significantly in the torso, which was surprising given the price and quality I expected. When I returned to the store on May 1 to ask about possible options, the first associate I spoke with was kind and patient. She explained that the sweater is made of delicate wool and that shrinkage can happen if it goes through the washer and dryer. As a new Aritzia customer, I shared that I wasn't aware of the care requirements and felt disappointed. She offered to call the manager, which I appreciated--but unfortunately, that's where the experience went downhill. The manager responded in a dismissive and rude tone, saying "it's all on the tag" and that nothing could be done. When my husband mentioned that the tag is small and not always easy to read for first-time customers, she smirked, flipped the sweater inside out, and said, "I can read it." This felt condescending and unnecessary. At no point was there any effort to show empathy or understanding. I left the store feeling offended and upset, which is not something anyone expects after making a purchase from a premium brand.
