I purchased a pair turquoise earrings on sale. When ringing it up, the woman notified me that they were on further discount, above and beyond the sale price. Bonus! That never happens to me. I found some items that I was very excited about and wore two tops that I purchased just a couple of times. I found that both tops had worn holes in them. I tried working with their customer service "chat" option but that was a total waste of time and terrible experience. Last week I called the store and talked to Selena, one of their managers and she said I should come in and while I was in town yesterday. selen made everything right, giving me a refund so I could exchange these items for new tops. I needed to buy additional oil for my car, so I decided to step in. I had just come from a nearby Indian grocery store and had a small plastic bag with a single small item (paneer). I selected the oil, went to the register, and noticed the cashier was busy. I asked if anyone else could help, and another employee came over. After I paid for the oil, I placed the receipt in the grocery bag. The oil was still in my hand. At that point, the employee asked, "What do you have in your bag?" When I asked why, he said it was "to make sure you are not stealing from us." I showed the bag, but I was shocked and offended. In my 47 years of life, I have never been accused of stealing. If there are concerns, please rely on your cameras and internal procedures rather than making direct accusations to paying customers. This interaction was unnecessary and left a very unpleasant impression.

Man, there's a lot of hatred and rage in the reviews here. I've been coming to ICC since they…read moreopened and have never had (or seen) anything other than respectful, friendly, helpful service. Let's get one thing out of the way: the owner is not a man who murdered his wife. That guy was awarded a license for a second store eight years ago...a store that never opened. His son, who was seven at the time, is the co-owner of ICC. Maybe they're a bit pricier than some other shops, but they also don't allow tipping the budtenders. When I factor that in, they become real price competitive, real fast. To the "get out of my face you loser-know-nothing-I'm-browsing-and-know-more-than-you" kinds of bizarre comments: wow. Just wow. I've worked in retail sales and there's always a balance--and they pretty much nail it. They politely and gently ask if you have questions and if you say no, they walk away. Bitching about quality of product? They have pretty much the same brands as all the other stores. Poorly rolled pre-roll? That's the producer's fault, not ICC, and it's absurd to ding them for that. They literally can't open the packaging to check to see how tightly the joint is rolled. There are budtenders who've been there for years and know product inside and out. And newer ones who will ask their more experienced co-workers questions if they don't have the answer. I've never been steered wrong, as I have at other shops. As for entry and ID requirements, they're the strictest of any shop I've seen. They got a ding early on and, if they got a second one within a certain time period, they'd be shut down. Closed. Put out of business. The ID check is quick, easy, 100% consistent, a perfectly sensible business decision. I agree that it's very weird that they wouldn't accept a passport or some other forms of ID. I'm going to ask they next time I'm there if that's the policy. Maybe this isn't the shop for people spending 100s of dollars every week (really? I can't get my head around that). Maybe there are shops with more consistent budtenders, or lower prices (don't forget the no-tip policy!), or better sales, or... I'll keep coming here gladly.
