Big Bang for your Buck, especially if you time your shopping days around their sales events. The department store basically is a self service location as you can't ever find anyone to help you look for anything. If they were to be attentive to their customers, I think their sales would increase instead of letting their prices drive business. There was someone behind me, so they rushed me to the side and said "we'd like to help the person behind you while you figure that out," (Luke, person at kiosk). I was little embarrassed but asked them to be more patient since I had not done a return before, and he chuckled in response, offering, "well more than happy to help you out and walk you through it since you clearly don't know what you're doing." I love our Kohl's in Redmond. They always have sales going on, and it's easy to feel like you're saving money even when you're spending a fair amount. Often you'll get Kohl's Cash ($10 for each $50 spent) back, which can be used later. The store is well organized and they have just about anything you'd need. My one tiny complaint is that the store is so big that it can be a LONG detour to the bathroom if you have to go mid-shopping. They have candles, activewear, menswear, kids clothes, bedding, tons of kitchen stuff, and a whole lot of stocking stuffers around the holidays. read more

I have come to like this location because I have been able to stumble across some great deals on Nike clearance & Columbia lightweight jackets. I used to love the Lauren Conrad clothes but I havent been able to find my size in 2 years which is unfortunate. I have come to really like the Elle brand which is always clearanced out nicely. My favorite thing to do is scour the clearance items to use my Kohls cash on. The shoe selection for boys is pretty slim. The worst part of this store is online pickup. Definitely not the most convenient setup. You have to stand in line & wait your turn, then provide tons of info & they grab the item & you go. The dressing rooms always have an over abundance of clothes thrown around & no one managing it. read more

I know there are big Kohl's fans out there, but I'm just not one of them. I've never been able to find clothes or good gifts here. They DO have a decent Christmas/holiday section, and my kids have found shoes here, but other than that, I've had bad experiences here: there rarely - RARELY -is anyone around on the floor to help you find stuff, clothing and toys are in the wrong areas, clothing areas are in disarray, stuff on the floor, fitting areas with clothes strewn about everywhere.... The store seems always to be a mess, and the employees, if you can find them, don't seem happy to be there. Tonight I went there again to look for an item that was, just today, featured prominently in the Sunday newspaper in their circular. I walked the store three times, looking for this item. There was nary an employee around to ask. I finally went to the customer service area in the back to ask for help. There were two guys in line to return something. I asked them if I could go before them to ask for help. THey said, sure, they didn't mind, and they commisserated with me, as they too had walked the store multiple times, looking for assistance, to ask someone where to go to return their item. So, beware: if you need something, you're on your own! Other than those issues, yes, you can find decent deals on some items here. I'm not crazy of the quality of the kids' clothes, but there are some big names featured in their women's areas, and the quality is good with those designer names. My family and I have a lot better luck - and service - at Target, right next door in the same parking lot. read more

Kohl's is underrated. They continually offer great deals and discounts online. I usually shop for inexpensive baby clothes and the LC Lauren Conrad line, which I love. I found myself at this Kohl's for the first time last night because I forgot today was school picture day. I spent the entire time in the size 7-14 young lady's department. They had a lot of shorts and summer wear on clearance. I found an outfit for my first grader to wear but I debated on if i should buy it or not due to the $70 price tag and no sale signs anywhere near that rack. I finally gave up and took the outfit up front where it rang up $42. I found pajamas that she also needed and $150 later I was out the door. My cashier tried in vain to get me to apply for a Kohl's Card and after the third no thank you I was cleared to use my debit card. I "earned" $20 in Kohl's Cash to be used on a later day like a gift card. She was the only employee I saw in the store and I was lucky not to need assistance other than check out. I don't think I will be in here much as I don't have the energy to look at ads print or collect coupons and shop on certain days. In order to get good deals on stuff it seems you must play those games at Kohl's. read more

Typical Kohl's. I was doing some holiday shopping here and noticed they were really short staffed. I had inquiries but thought I should just try to figure out on my own first. Then I noticed another female customer, standing feet away from me, was also trying to get attention of a male staff and the conversation went down something like this, Customer, "Excuse me. I have a question." Staff, "Hmmm...yes?" Customer, "Oh, are you busy right now? Can you help me?" Staff, "Well...I was busy. I don't know. Not any more I guess." I love Kohl's. Sure they inflate their prices so that their "sale" prices look cheap in comparison. However when you find the items that are 60%, 70%, or 80% off, then the items are actually worth it (most of the time). This Kohl's is located next to the Target. It does feel very suburbia. Oh well. Their women's clothing section is impressive. They had the new Derek Lam collaboration. I loved the colors but the prices were still a little high (even with their "sales") so I am definitely waiting until those pieces hit the 60+% off rack... Their clearance racks had a lot of Narcisco Rodriguez collaboration pieces left at cheap prices. Unfortunately, the clearance racks really do lack any organization whatsoever and I had to dig around. It wasn't organized by style or by size. But that's half the fun! Kohl's also has some cute fashionable brands like Simply Vera Vera Wang and LC by Lauren Conrad. The Jennifer Lopez line is not too bad either. And of course, the Rock and Republic brand now lives in Kohl's so you can find some killer deals here on their denim. I found a cute LC top for only $4 (!) which is a steal by any measure. read more

Ever see a Dan Brown movie where the main character is running around a vast area, trying to decipher numbers and codes on tattered pieces of paper and the whole adventure seems like it should've taken 30 minutes less than it did? This store is like a Dan Brown novel. The stock was a complete mess and nothing is organized. And of course you have those Kohl's "Sales" which makes figuring out the price of something even more complicated. Now I know what you'll be saying, "It's after Christmas of course it'll be messy" and you're right, if this was the only instance. I went here 2 months ago and had the same experience trying to find pants. So the chaotic floor and shelves are not a new thing and have nothing to do with the holidays. If a toddler ran into a display rack, knocked it over, and everything was on the floor it would be equally organized, but there would be a valid excuse. And I feel obliged to say this, all staff had a mask on and as far as I could tell all were wearing them properly. read more

Getting the advertised discount is like pulling teeth. I found some boots "On Sale" but no sale price on the tag. After much waiting, I was told that the "Sale" price was 94.99 vs. the regular $100. Wow--underwhelmed bigtime. I asked if there were additional discounts available, and if they honor online discounts. She implied there were not. So I asked someone working the floor. She was very helpful and let me know if I spent over $100 I'd get a 20% discount ("Buy More/Save More"). But the person running the checkout did not seem to understand English and I had to ask multiple times before and after the sale was rung up and totaled before she finally relented and applied the 20% discount. Shouldn't have to fight like that to get the discount. What gives? read more

One star is for the customer service line. I was here for an online pickup & the two people at the desk were SO SLOW & seemed to not know how to do anything. If I am picking up an order that is already paid for I should be able to show my ID and receipt and get my item, not wait 20 minutes behind one person who is trying to return something but you can't figure out your own technology. The woman behind me picking up was also feting antsy. And when I finally got up to the counter it was a hassle to just find someone to go get my item! Never doing the online pick up ever again. I don't shop here. I don't know what it is, but I've never liked any of the clothes at Kohl's. Or the Shoes, etc. The prices are good, but I just can't get behind it, and believe me, I love a good deal. I do come here with my boyfriend a lot. He has a Kohl's credit card, and gets coupons in the mail all the time. He buys all of his basics here: Jeans, Dress shirts, socks, underwear, etc. We were most recently in here to get a tie and some new slacks. With his coupon and all other discounts it was like $40 for both, which is a really good deal. This place is always a mess though, the staff pretty much avoids you until it's time to check out, and it's always dead in here. They are open until like Midnight right now for the Holidays, but when we went at like 7 pm on a Tuesday, we were able to get a parking spot right up front. They do have some great deals though, so it's worth a look from time to time, especially since it shares a parking lot with my favorite store(Target). read more

The Store That People Forgot This is, without a doubt, the quietest Kohl's I have -ever- visited. The day I stopped by, I think I might have been one of 5 customers total. I don't usually go to Kohl's for anything other than housewares or linens (the intent of my visit that day, in fact) so I can't comment on their clothing or other selections. The store was laid out exactly as every other Kohl's I've been to, down to the kitchen things being to the left of the bathroom items and then in order, towels, sheets and rugs going to the right. Same old, same old - nice & reliable Kohl's. Since there were hardly any customers (perhaps they were all in the nearby Target?) I had several employees ask if I needed assistance. Very friendly, very prompt...I'd go back if I needed something from housewares or linens. read more

Poor customer experience, staff needs training. Pasting a subset of my email to Kohls : The cashier failed to apply a merchandise credit I had and billed me the full amount. I realized that on receipt of a message from my credit card company with the wrong charge amount. I returned to the store which was in the process of closing down and had locked the doors. The associate who picked up the phone was ____rd, wearing badge of area supervisor from Long Beach, CA. After he came out, he asked my brother to stay out in the cold like we were thieves. All through this, I told him he sounded irritated and rude, he didn't budge his tone and didn't even apologize once for his store's mistake telling me he just wants to close the store. I have never had a Kohl's associate not be nice to me and to be treated in such a shabby manner, is a signal to me that Kohl's does not appreciate my business. When the whole thing was done, I told him I didn't appreciate his tone through the whole thing, to which he sarcastically remarked, I apologize for my tone then. I really hope this associate undergoes some training and is able to handle customers and customer situations better. I can only imagine if it were my mistake how he would treat me. read more

I'm happy. For 54 bucks i got Two tank tops. A dress. A laptop bag. Three picture frames. How about that! At the end of 520. There's Kohl's and Target (and other stuff) also there's a nice looking mall on the other side of the freeway if you need more attraction. My experience at Target has been disappointing lately. I can't find sh!t there for some reasons. So I gave Kohl's a try and found everything I wanted. Still can't believe the dress was 14 bucks. and the laptop bag was 14 bucks too. Pros: * This place is insanely quiet. Like, almost dead silent. * This place is really, really clean. Like, no clothes on the floor or anything. * The clothes are decent quality and well-priced. Reminds me of JCPenny. * This place has a small (but it's there!) cosmetics area. I've seen them sell TheBalm, but they have a large display for Flirt! Cosmetics (among a couple others that were non-memorable). * Rewards program! Cons: * A little out of the way for me. * The clothes are really my style... but if you like JCP, you'll love this place. re: Return Stood in line to return something and although my transaction was handled with ease, I felt terrible for both the Return Clerks behind the counter. I waited there for at least 15 minutes and was able to witness 4+ customers ahead of me. I can't even begin to imagine how many bs excuses they hear on a daily basis. Some of the reasons 'may' have been legitimate returns, but if I were a jury, I would have voted guilty or thumbs down on all of them. From a person wanting full price before the Christmas sale on their returns without a receipt to someone trying to return gloves that Kohl's does not even sell is a huge fail on mankind. Very difficult job when you have to deal with this kind of crap. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes after I took store credit. I normally do not shop here, but I know if you can catch their sale items, it's worth checking out. read more

Sometimes it's hit and miss with Kohl's. There are days when I want everything, and then there are days when everything looks cheesy or tacky. I popped by recently with a $10 coupon, and picked up a few things (Christmas shopping early!!). It was one of those days where I wanted everything, but of course my wallet did not feel the same way. It seemed like an easy enough trip...until I attempted to wear the tunic sweater I'd bought. As a bonus accessory, the girl checking me out had left the security tag. Y'know the one that can't be removed except at the store?? Yeah.. So I had to take it back and have them remove it. Fortunately, I still had the receipt and the tag. Otherwise that would be incredibly embarrassing. As it was, I wish that they could be a bit more careful. read more

Kohls has great sales! It's always nice to go to the price scanner and it turns out the item which says $69 is scanning at $24! The only con is this Redmond location doesn't have the greatest selection at times and seems to be out of my size on a lot of things. But overall I recommend this place! read more

We went in for a birthday gift and and went to get in line to check (we were third in line and not to mention there were about 5 customers behind us) out and the checker took a good 10 minutes with the woman at her stand. She called another checker and the lady behind us cut to the second cashier.. The cashier asked who was next and we pointed to the lady in front of us and the second cashier handled the whole situation poorly. We were in line for a good 15 ridiculous minutes. We also had a terrible experience at the Kohl's in Silverde. We went in to purchase a bed in a bag we found online. The item we wanted was not on the shelf so we asked an employee and they pointed us to guest relations, guest relations pointed us to the kiosk machine to search for the item to locate it and see what store had the item. The kiosk was a pain to operate so we asked a Kohl's worker and the pointed us back to the guest service counter. At that point we had enough... We left the store empty handed. Being a typical guy, at least as far as shopping goes, I like to go clothes shopping as little as possible. My technique is to buy a bunch of stuff, wear it until it's totally toast, and buy more only when I'm running out of things to wear. Well I took it to the extreme and bought almost 20 shirts (seriously!) when I went to Kohl's recently. What can I say, my whole wardrobe needs updating, and I decided to start with shirts. I got a nice variety and the prices were very good. One nice bonus is they were running a deal where you can get Kohl's cash (basically a gift certificate) that you can use on a future visit. That's where the only blip was: I should have got $50 worth of Kohl's cash but I only got $40. That was because the clerk didn't know how to ring up my Amex gift card so he just put in as a discount, meaning my total looked smaller than it was. When I called him on it he made up a nice lie on the spot: "Oh gift cards don't count for that". Yeah right! I should have "escalated" it to a manager at that point but I didn't feel like messing with it for $10. I ended up coming back and using the Kohl's cash to buy new unmentionables ; ) Other than that it was a pleasant experience. They frequently have good sales on Carter's, Nike and Under Armour. The prices are good. However, the selection is poor, the store is a mess and there is never anyone around to ask questions. The one cashier is just plain rude. I walked in for the first time since Christmas time and just cringed when I saw her. She pushes the Kohl's charge card and is mean and aggressive when you decline. It makes me wonder how much management is on them to sell a specific number of credit cards. read more

This store's kinda depressing, in all honesty. I did some after-Christmas shopping here, and I don't think I could technically count it as shopping, as I didn't buy anything here. :/ I looked for some new clothes, and their "young men" section was sorta melodramatic. They had some knock-off "Underground Pipeline" (insert circled R here) label, and it wasn't anything I'd be caught in public wearing. I wasn't too impressed, but I still had housewares to check out. I ventured over there, and I must say, the store's very clean, and the floors are highly polished. This place would probably be a better nightclub than a department store. In housewares, there were some interesting things, but nothing really too exciting. George Foreman's, blenders, espresso machines, the usual. As I was leaving, I checked out some jewelry, and the discounts almost made it worth buying. Almost. The discounts weren't exactly deep enough to make me want to buy it. This Kohl's is usually pretty well-kept. I love Kohl's because they have lots of clothes on sale and then I look up on my iphone for a kohl's printable coupon and usually get an additional 15-20% off. I feel like I always come away with quite a bit for my money. As far as style, the clothes are pretty hit or miss. They are not cutting edge, but they do a good job for what they are. read more

This place is so-so. Come here for the typical Kohl's stuff. I had to return a couple of items, and I'm not sure if I was awkward or if the 2 ladies were doing a hand off. I had purchased a few items, but turns out because I am petite, they didn't fit the way I needed them to. Walked up to a register and asked if this is where I do returns. She just looked at me and pointed, then looked back down at what she was doing. So, I walked to where I needed to return them. I waited a couple minutes while one lady saw me, bent under the counter and started working on some stuff. Another lady walked up and started talking to her. After a little back and forth and then they asked each other which one wanted to help me. I asked the lady that ended helping me how her day was going and she didn't sound thrilled, "Well, I'm here and just got started." Then she was just quiet as she continued the transaction. I get it. Not her fault, but I also felt like a burden for even needing to return some items. Instead of looking for replacements, I just left. Not sure if it was the day, or if there was a not so great meeting before opening, but that was my overall experience. It's what I would expect from any Kohl's. I hadn't been to Kohls in a while but was pretty disappointed at my last visit. The store seemed disorganized and cramped full of stuff. There was a lot of clearance which I enjoy but when it is so unorganized it is hard to even begin to sort through the items. Now I understand that sizes get mixed around and generally don't expect clearance to be all sorted by size. I do however feel that the least they could do is put the correct size clothing on the correctly marked hangers. With sizes not separated and hangers/clothing sizes mismatched it is near impossible to find anything. I noticed this problem in the mens section, the pajamas section and womens clothing section. :/ Also, the price scanner could use some repair. read more
