I love this Costco location! The parking lot tends to feel a lot calmer than other locations, at least in my experience, but honestly it really depends on the day and time you go. Be prepared for either a full on battlefield or a smooth, peaceful shopping trip... there's really no in between haha! Overall, we love Costco. The deals and prices are amazing, and we've been happy members for the past two years. As someone who loves to bake frequently, buying in bulk is a total game changer. I used to have bad experiences here but recently I've been giving this location another try. The staff here nowadays are very friendly and helpful. I prefer this location over the Kirkland one because I like that the food court is right past the check out area. There's a lot more selection here than I see online and I always end up spending $300 here easily when I only came in for one thing.. I love Costco in Redmond so much, even though there are 2 Costco's closer to me, my family and I still drive to Redmond. The employees are amazing, they have everything and then some. The bathrooms are always clean and everything always works! The pharmacy is amazing and the line goes quickly. The variety that they have on items are above and beyond, do you know that today, 3/21/26, I saw an adult, Disney themed Lettermans jacket? It was prob the coolest jacket I saw in a long time and to buy that kind of coat online like at Disney, for $80, good luck with that. Amazing deal. Food court... always good food, great choices and you cannot beat the price. For our 3 sundaes , $8! Hurry so get some! read more

We visited Redmond Costco today (Friday) at 4:30pm. It consistently feels calmer and more laid-back than other locations, even during peak hours. Parking was not bad with minimal foot traffic in the lot. The entrance was clear, no lines or congestion. Inside, the warehouse felt spacious and unhurried. One of the highlights for me is the clothing section--Redmond's selection tends to have hidden gems, especially on clearance. This time, we snagged several skincare products at great prices. Even the deli area, which is usually buzzing, was unusually quiet. We got our food quickly, and nearly every table was free--I'd estimate about 90% were empty. It made the whole experience feel more like a leisurely outing than a typical Costco run. read more

Came on a Tuesday night so not as crazy busy as it could be...so ended up with a good experience. As one would expect in a metro area that contains World HQ, there are quite a few Costco's in the Seattle area. Located in Redmond, WA, this Costco Redmond opened in 2016 so relatively new. It has a good set-up, with a decent orderly connection between the warehouse parking lot and the gas station. The food court is located inside and the self checkout area is configured to handle two separate lines, each ending up with 3 registers. You have to be careful not to hit anything when a far register opens up. Very similar to how their gas station islands traffic patterns work, which isn't necessarily a good thing. Same process as other Costcos: need grab a cart from the outside and bring it into the warehouse, scan your membership card when entering, and show your receipt for verification when leaving. read more

Went to Costco at around 10:30am today. Needed gas and some food items. I like getting gas at this Costco cause there are 3 gas pumps per line so it seems like I get done faster Heard there were some pretty decent markdowns on ladies clothes today. I scored a rain jacket, several jogging pants, sweaters and sweat shirts and thermal wear. Cold cuts, and a 16lb turkey for $6 and change!!!! Standard Costco but one of my preferred locations. Getting gas here is easy and quick with 3 pumps per lane. Food court is located inside with lots of table seating. Service is quick and efficient. Costco always has good deals and I love the cheap pizza! read more

Everything. You told us the card on file was compromised. You are wrong, wrong, wrong again. The ding dong Elicia told us it had been used to charge stuff without our knowledge. I call bs. Costco did not ever notify myself nor my wife Sue of the supposed breach. I have multiple credit agencies watching my accounts because of other breaches. The service here has never been stellar; I suspect it never was meant to be. But I remember seeing a mess that was left unattended for tens if minutes. I have been going to the Costco food court for many years. In the last few years they have raised or doubled their prices by quite a bit and continue to do so. . They eliminated the better options and replaced them with low quality, overpriced options. For example the berry smoothie the has been replaced by cheap lemonade with a few pieces of strawberry in It. They are replacing good items for low a quality and high profit items. they have instructed their employees to tell customers that they're out temporarily in order to switch it out. read more

I used to love Costco, now going there only elicits anxiety. They've taken away almost everything redeemable about this place. The samples are sparse, you now have to scan your card to even enter the store even if there's a line outside in the rain, you have to show ID at checkout so I can no longer send my husband to pick up our groceries, you have to have a membership to go to the food court now and the polish dog is gone, there are no labels for the aisles so you find yourself wandering around searching for what you need in an incredible busy and overwhelming environment, and there's little to no help from employees. The ability to return anything anytime is the best pro BUT dang the return line TAKES TOO LONG because it's always long out the door. So bc the line takes forever, i hv cut down on purchasing eye candy n stopped chucking in as I use to. Costco, time to create two lines after entering the return door. The hot dog, strawberry sundae are totally the shiz! Get it. Tons of fresh strawberry, and the texture of the ice cream is so unique. It's not like the usual hard stuff, it's soft, creamy with a really nice vanilla flavor. As for the shopping experience, I like this place over Kirkland and issaquah. Much bigger, and spaced out. Quick overview: -this Costco has optical, pharmacy, food court, tire center+self serve nitrogen (during tire center hours only), and gas, but NO car wash -five years ago I would have given this location 4.5 or 5 stars, but lately ownership seems to be cheaping out so only 3-3.5 stars now This location used to be one of the best costcos in the area when it opened: clean, well-stocked, a good amount of specialty/seasonal offerings, etc. It's gone downhill a bit since the COVID pandemic, and hasn't bounced back the way many retailers have. Stuff is constantly out of stock that didn't used to be (toilet bowl cleaner, balsamic vinegar, other normal/nonseasonal staple items). The nice selection of local/craft wine/beer that they used to have has mostly been exchanged for big box varieties (no... Elysian doesn't count as local or craft anymore). Empty boxes/pallets on the sales floor don't get swapped out. Lines at checkout have gotten massive even at off hours on weekdays. Everything points towards Costco as a corporation doing what every other big box store does: cutting back on worker costs at the expense of the customer (and, honestly, probably the employees too). Another example is the u scan. I am a big fan of u scans because I don't like talking to strangers, and I don't like checkers chucking my produce like they're competing in the shotput. I understand why Costco recently implemented ID checks at the u scan station to prevent membership sharing: this was the whole point of them holding your card at the regular checkout while they rang you up back before they installed the u scans. That's fine; it's Costco's prerogative to check or not. However, the implementation of this has been terrible. If you want to check 12 different peoples membership cards in a line that feeds to 12 different scanning stations, they need to have more than 1 employee babysitting the line. As it is, if they're busy catching someone else with a "borrowed" card while there are open lanes and you go forwards, you get yelled at and treated like a criminal (even if your card is, in fact, yours). This isn't the card-checker's fault, to be exceptionally clear; this is Costco trying to pinch pennies and everyone has a worse experience as a result. Costco can't have it both ways. If people are paying $100+ a year for a club store, they expect better service and quality than they would get at a bargain store. Costco needs to staff this store sufficiently and compensate said employees fairly read more

If there's one thing I like about Costco, it's that they enforce the mask wearing very well. Admittedly, they have eliminated a number of COVID rules I had liked - no more cart cleaning, no more stickers on the ground telling folks where to stand at the cashiers. Inevitably, the person/family behind thinks 6 feet look like arms length. Anyway, this is a pretty new Costco in the area. I was very happy when it opened because it took the load away from the Costco nearest me. HAHAHAHA - evil laugh. By chance I was in the area and decided to drop by about 7:15pm on a week day. Everyone save for one older man had their masks on properly. Large Costco. Lots of options in many departments including home. & nice bathroom plumbing options including a neat solution for a shower with both handheld and fixed in one unit. See my photos. A fun variety with a cocktail sampler (see photo). Organic bananas...can't beat the price. Tommy H. jackets in white and dark colors. Great organic butter lettuce. Bamboo toilet paper (soft and a great deal, plus feels good to be choosing something so light on the earth) Costco, please offer some bidet toilet seats so we will need less TP. Lots of options on home security, tvs (the LG is amazing), and more. I wish this GM would teach the GM at Costco Kirkland (AVOID IT !!! My costco kirkland review is a must read. Decent spot with a lot of options! This isn't the closest Costco to me, but I come by as they have more Indian food options than other locations. They don't always have a lot of the stuff all the time, so I highly recommend grabbing whatever you see at the time that you want - even if you don't quite need it right then. Prices are pretty reasonable, and the staff at the self-checkout line are pretty efficient and help direct people quickly. It's often really crowded on weekends, and even sometimes on weekdays, so just be aware of that. Overall, it's a decent Costco and I would recommend it! read more

Rude and unprofessional staff numerous occasions. They are unaware that they can do their jobs without the bad attitude. Poor customer service almost every time I go here. This Costco is staffed by the most incompetent group of employees I ever had the misfortune to come across in 30 years. I wasted 30 minutes of my life asking for Brita filters, and had to deal with three employees who didn't even know what it was, and an admin staff who claimed they were in stock but neglected to say no one stocked it on the floor for the past 24 hours. Almost all of the boxed greens were rotting inside of the box as they were at or near the expiration date. I will never come here again. read more

I also appreciate that they sell real soda because there's no city sugar tax. Yay for sugar soda! Never had a problem with parking here. Can get gas here too. All I can say is wow. Blaine at self checkout not only harassed me, but made my experience traumatic and terrible. He came up to me on multiple occasions unprovoked and watched me check every single item while I checked out. My worst Costco experience. The cashier named Anne refused to take my card for payment just because she saw my family member get the card from her purse. Ridiculous, are you trying to tell me if am a family of 6, all 6 members are to get card membership. She was willing to forgo merchandise worth over $700 just because my family member who never scanned membership was trying to pay. And the debit card didn't have any name on it so she couldn't tell who it belonged to but was adamant that it didn't belong to me. Thank God for the understanding manager, we were able to get our merchandise. In all my 20 years of Costco membership in California, I had never experienced this till I came to Redmond! This location is terrible I have been a Costco customer for years, I didn't scan one of the items I had and the lady noticed it on my receipt, I was confused and quickly realized what happened, told her I have no issue going back and paying for it. This lady told me I'm not allowed to do that and that I committed a violation and that I have to be detained at the front door, being a former Costco employee I laughed in her face and walked out the door as she was yelling at me like i had broke. I tried to get glasses today at Costco and found out that they actually take very few insurances, not even Premerra so that is disappointing. Costco was packed but the women who worked in glasses was knowledgable. I left without any but I appreciated that they staff people who know what they are talking about. I wish they would adjust their website that says they take "many" insurance. The warehouse was swamped, I need to go anytime other than the weekend when you can't find a spot to park. It would be nice if they had more self checkout and that we didn't have to bunch up getting out when they don't check what you are leaving with anyway. read more

The woman worked some serious magic on my mountain of food. If you are feeding a large family and have just come home from vacation to an empty fridge.... If you happen to love Costco but haven't been in months and forgot that they had wonderful things like "almond flour wraps" and "keto yogurt bars".... Or maybe you just really like Costco and keep browsing until you literally can't push the cart without the full weight of your body..... Lasted a little over 2 years and the Company Whirlpool wanted $450 upfront to send out a tech to try to fix it. 40% of what I paid, Costco blew me off. Siting electronics/applicance policies, on help. Told me to call their tech hotline.. 1 hour wasted there, told me to go to manufacturer. The Defrost cycle does not work and the freezer freezes like a block of ice... have to unplug to get rid the ice. and does it again...Maybe we got a deal because Whirlpool sold a batch of faulty models cheap to Costco... in any case, feel like we got taken... read more

Missing front of house employees - you know the ones who hang out at the cash register to help customers. Used to be Managers with access to computers and authority for resolution. Now they are glorified ID checkers, who cannot login to the systems. Literally 5 employees loafing near self checkout lines, all focused on making sure Costco ID card pictures MATCH the face in front of them (widely available tools which automate this be damned!) Picture it: double and triple looks between real face and photo on the Costco card. Eyes narrowed, suspicious tsk, tsk, tsk - is it really her or her gray haired husband?! Meanwhile, people are self scanning (or not - no product weight controls enabled at these registers) and shoving meat sticks in their pants! It is maddening when a group of customer facing employees are not trained or do not have the authority to actually resolve issues or assist customers. This is on Costco HQ for apparently shifting focus away fm customers and toward squeezing every .0035% on their margins - this is why front of house are low paid, loss prevention clerks vs anything helpful with customers. read more

All three Costco locations in Kirkland, Redmond, and Issaquah are about equal distance to us.Definitely like the Redmond location the most. It is less crowded than the other two and Costco is Costco, so you're getting pretty much the same things while being able to enjoy your time there more. It is I think a bit small than the one in Issaquah, but not enough difference for us to choose others over Redmond location. I'll sometimes go to the Kirkland one since it's close to my work and I can swing by and grab some stuff on the way home. Or the Issaquah one if we're heading to the Farmer's Market there, but Redmond is our go to 9 times out of 10. read more

This is the new Costco store that opened in Redmond last November. There isn't a store in Bellevue so I have always trekked over to the Issaquah store when I make my Costco shopping run. Since this location is about the same distance from my home, it gives me a second choice to choose from. The store is down the street from numerous big box stores including Fred Meyer, Home Depot, Kohl's and Target. Whole Foods is also nearby making it convenient if you need to get your everyday shopping done in one trip. The parking lot is huge with plenty of spaces. Though I am not sure if I would want to come here during peak hours. There is only one lane on both sides of the street in the area so there is potential for congestion. The layout of the store is different from other Costco locations in the area. Everything is laid out on the opposite side of the store. The pharmacy for instance is on the left side of the side, whereas the Issaquah store's pharmacy is on the right. It has the same layout I encountered at the Costco store in Richmond, BC. Also the Costco Food Court here is inside the store rather than outside as it is in Issaquah. The product selection is similar to the Issaquah store, though I did notice some unique products that I haven't seen at other stores. They seem to have a larger selection of Indian food items which tailors to the large Indian community in Redmond. I will probably continue shopping at the Issaquah primarily since I am most familiar with that store. But if I am headed out to Redmond, I won't hesitate shopping at this location as it is convenient. read more

I love Costco and I was so happy that this one opened up close to work, Kirkland was always pretty far away and so busy and packed no matter when we were going. I tend to go during the week now and the crowds are ok, parking is also easy and they have a gas station too. I noticed though overall, that the produce in this Costco doesn't hold up to the quality of other stores. I always bought most of my produce in Kirkland and it was fresh and holding up well for days. When I bought items from this location, I noticed it spoiling much faster. I know I can return product, but I don't really want to pack up the open bag of whatever it is and drive over to return it every single time. The first couple of months, I had several items spoil much faster (from lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and so on), so I wonder if they don't check items regularly enough or if less gets sold, so more stock is sitting around longer? I've decided to buy my produce elsewhere again, even though this location is just perfect for me. I wasted too much grocery money already. I know that Costco has sometimes different items in different stores, but red charmin and other items I was able to find in Kirkland, aren't available in Redmond. Overall, the location is good, I will still get gas and non perishable items, but it won't be my first choice for produce. read more
