BEWARE... Bought a Fridge a little over two years ago. On Sale, online for $1300. Lasted a little over 2 years and the Company Whirlpool wanted $450 upfront to send out a tech to try to fix it. 40% of what I paid, Costco blew me off. Siting electronics/applicance policies, on help. Told me to call their tech hotline.. 1 hour wasted there, told me to go to manufacturer. The Defrost cycle does not work and the freezer freezes like a block of ice... have to unplug to get rid the ice. and does it again...Maybe we got a deal because Whirlpool sold a batch of faulty models cheap to Costco... in any case, feel like we got taken... read more

This is a pretty big Costco and there is plenty of parking. They also have a gas station on the premises. They have a pretty good selection, most of the items that you come to expect when you go to a Costco. Service is good, overall a decent Costco to visit. read more

This is the new Costco store that opened in Redmond last November. There isn't a store in Bellevue so I have always trekked over to the Issaquah store when I make my Costco shopping run. Since this location is about the same distance from my home, it gives me a second choice to choose from. The store is down the street from numerous big box stores including Fred Meyer, Home Depot, Kohl's and Target. Whole Foods is also nearby making it convenient if you need to get your everyday shopping done in one trip. The parking lot is huge with plenty of spaces. Though I am not sure if I would want to come here during peak hours. There is only one lane on both sides of the street in the area so there is potential for congestion. The layout of the store is different from other Costco locations in the area. Everything is laid out on the opposite side of the store. The pharmacy for instance is on the left side of the side, whereas the Issaquah store's pharmacy is on the right. It has the same layout I encountered at the Costco store in Richmond, BC. Also the Costco Food Court here is inside the store rather than outside as it is in Issaquah. The product selection is similar to the Issaquah store, though I did notice some unique products that I haven't seen at other stores. They seem to have a larger selection of Indian food items which tailors to the large Indian community in Redmond. I will probably continue shopping at the Issaquah primarily since I am most familiar with that store. But if I am headed out to Redmond, I won't hesitate shopping at this location as it is convenient. read more

I love Costco and I was so happy that this one opened up close to work, Kirkland was always pretty far away and so busy and packed no matter when we were going. I tend to go during the week now and the crowds are ok, parking is also easy and they have a gas station too. I noticed though overall, that the produce in this Costco doesn't hold up to the quality of other stores. I always bought most of my produce in Kirkland and it was fresh and holding up well for days. When I bought items from this location, I noticed it spoiling much faster. I know I can return product, but I don't really want to pack up the open bag of whatever it is and drive over to return it every single time. The first couple of months, I had several items spoil much faster (from lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and so on), so I wonder if they don't check items regularly enough or if less gets sold, so more stock is sitting around longer? I've decided to buy my produce elsewhere again, even though this location is just perfect for me. I wasted too much grocery money already. I know that Costco has sometimes different items in different stores, but red charmin and other items I was able to find in Kirkland, aren't available in Redmond. Overall, the location is good, I will still get gas and non perishable items, but it won't be my first choice for produce. read more

At first it was super crowded all the time. Now if I get early, my purchases can be super fast. But be aware that the don't open on festive days so a day in advanced will be very crowded. It is very standard but live the meat and seafood. Good price for ribs :) Surprisingly, mangoes are better here than in other places. Unfortunately, you can't get all products you would like or the amount of them is big for a small family. But a great option for stacking what you really use or parties. Staff is friendly and more helpful lately. They would help me with some fruit I forgot. They improved this the past months even when lines are big and I am glad! read more

The staff members at this Costco are always so kind and helpful. I love coming to shop here! I even sometimes come with my nephew to eat a slice of their delicious pizza. Thank YOU Costco. read more

This Costco location is super close to my work so I stop by here after work to buy foods that I like in bulk. I buy for myself so when I buy in bulk here I only need to come here once a month (maybe even less). Parking is never an issue which is nice. They also have a food court as well as a gas station. I usually prefer to go to Costco during the weekday since it's not as packed. I'm not sure how packed it is during the weekend but I can't imagine it would be packed enough to make shopping uncomfortable and crowded. Another cool thing: they have self-kiosks for their food court! You can order yourself, pay, and then pick up your food at the counter. One tip for those this might affect: if you're shopping with someone who doesn't have a Costco card and are planning to pay separately, the other person will not be able to pay on their own. Instead, you will have to pay for them since you're the card holder and they are not. This is a policy they have and I'm not sure why they have one (my guess is because technically only card holders are allowed to make purchases here). You can get around this by just paying for them and having them pay you back. read more

I want to write this review to acknowledge the customer service I received at this location, specifically in membership services. It was a busy Saturday, but Keely was incredibly patient, kind, and helpful. I want to say I appreciate her efforts, and I am grateful for her excellent customer service. She was very professional and even though I came in with a difficult situation, I still felt heard. She was super understanding and great to work with, very happy with my experience at this location as a result. read more

You can't get everything you need at Costco, but it's a great place to go for most of the things you can get there, particularly if you have a place to store bulk purchases. The samples are fun, and sometimes they lead to nice discoveries. On the down side, it's occasionally frustrating to find great stuff on one visit, only to return for more later and find that it's been discontinued. Another great thing about Costco is that they treat their employees well. Starting wage there is double or triple that of most retailers. And that good treatment shows up in employees' attitudes; they may not be happy all the time, but they present a good attitude anyway. Costco employees get paid more, and they're worth it. The only problem with the employees is that it can be difficult to find one to help with a question at times. That's all about Costco in general. On to this location. I used to shop at the Kirkland store (the namesake of the Costco store brand), about five miles west of this one. But the Redmond store is closer, so I switched. This one is also better organized, doesn't feel as crowded, and has better parking. It took me a while to get used to the layout, but it's an upgrade. read more

We love Costco & the variety of all kinds of foods. The vision center is more extensive than the last one I used to go to. I get spoiled to many foods, the fresh flour tortillas in the refrigerated section (we always have these on hand at home), the tastiest tomato section around, Pecan Crusted Tilapia (in the freezer section), Angus burgers (they are so good). read more

Very rude attitude towards customer. Yell at customer for not understanding their words and hang up on customers.

What the heck! I went to self check line and scanned my Costco card. After scanning three items, a Eastern Europe accent Costco team member came to me and she was very upset because I helped my self out on a self service machine. She yelled at me :"next time, let me scan your item." read more

I once had a group of trees that died. They were brown and old and, frankly, withered. It was both emotionally and physically difficult for me, because I had invested a lot of time and money in them. It was also just really inconvenient to have to pull them out of the ground, roots and all, drag them down my long driveway, and, quite literally, throw them over the hill. Needless to say, it was a trying time. The big dilemma, though, was the gaping hole these trees left. No longer was I able to enjoy the privacy of my backyard. I swear, I saw my neighbors peeking over my fence more than once. It was all more than a little disconcerting. After a lot of thought, I finally decided to give trees a second change (don't we all need one?). I hopped into my car and drove to my local Costco and crossed my fingers in hopes that they would have adequate inventory. And, boy oh boy. I was blown away. Not only were there trees, but they were a dark shade of vibrant green. Not one of those knockoff types that look like a dying fern or that excessively dark green that's simply repulsive to look at. No. They were perfect. Tears instantly sprang into my eyes. I'm so glad that I was wearing a mask, as I am almost certain that my chin quivered a little. A woman pulled her child away from me, with a concerned look on her face. These trees just weren't for her. It goes without saying that I purchased four of these beauties. A mere ten minutes ago, they found residence in my backyard. No longer do I have to put up with nosy neighbors or unsightly gaps. My life is exponentially better. Thank you, Costco. You are truly a life saver. I have shed a tear over this review. Merely thinking of it makes me feel all the emotions at the same time. #foreverindebted #canneverrepayyourkindness #costcomembersunite read more

This is now my favorite Costco! Great customer service! I came in a couple of days ago and accidentally left an item in the cart. I called and was told just come one in, we'll take care of you. I came in, showed my receipt, a lost and found binder was review to see if anyone turned it in. When the team member couldn't find it, they called Patrick / obviously a lead person over. He told them to get me a replacement because I bought it and it is on my receipt. Patrick himself when and got me a replacement. All the while they didn't once make me feel stupid or annoyed. read more

Sent this to corporate per the feedback tab on Costco's website. Wanted to share it here for those whom are getting tires. Flawless install, took care of the cars, great job from questions, booking, through the end. Feel strange leaving it for a big box store but this Redmond location is legit. Only issue I've ever had there was with a lady that used to own a liquor store in eastern WA as she didn't seem to align with the quality of service the rest of the store seems to embody. Hello. Not someone who normally does this but I felt obligated to somehow give my gratitude to the Costco in Redmond. These employees would not take cash gratuity, something my indie shop would gladly take, so I wanted to share my experience with a Bryce M. and a Domingo L at your Redmond, WA Costco Tire Center. As a perfectionist, I would normally take my vehicles to a highly rated indie shop, however, with limited time and this Costco generally serving me well and near my office, I made an attempt. I brought our German cars, both times installed by Bryce M. and engaged by Domingo L. and leadership staff there...flawless. All sets of wheels came back without a scratch, darker stem caps I'd asked for, and when I'd purchased frozen goods too soon, Domingo/team placed my products in a freezer somewhere to keep it from thawing. Costco in Redmond, particularly the tire center (& others), just exceed big box expectations. If Bryce M and Domingo are there, I'll always send cars there. read more

I absolutely love this place. I like that they have limited fast selling products so there are not 100 different varieties of the same product. They would only have a couple options to select from but I can blindly trust their quality and if in case it doesn't turn out good, they have generous return policy. We were first apprehensive of getting Costco membership since we are just 2 people but I am glas that we did take it. We generally don't buy groceries from there because of the bulk quantities but there are so many other things that we buy at much lower price (nuts, chocos, jackets, indian lentils, indian sweets, basmati rice, jackets, household goods, beauty and personal care, etc.) My husband and I are addicted to Costco. My husband doesn't like shopping but if I ask him to go to Costco, he would agree immediately. We have sometimes gone there just to check out stuff without any intentions of buying anything and came back with a full cart of items. I have also booked a vacation package to Cancun via Costco and it was a great deal. Sometimes, I have also found better rental car deals on Costco than on other websites. I also love that the prices are already good and still sometimes they have discounts on top of them. Recently, I have also explored their online portal and found good deals on items which are not available in warehouse like luxury beauty products which are way cheaper than sephora and macy's for the same brands. Additionally, my husband loves their free food samples and sometimes he just goes to try samples due to which we end up buying more items. I can give up Amazon membership but not Costco's. read more

I love Costco! It's a great store with all the essential groceries, and so much more! The only problem is that it's usually really busy, but it's not Costco's fault. We ordered living furniture from Coctco.com. They did not carry it in the warehouse so what you see is not always what you get. The delivery was fairly smooth, and free or included in the price. The color of the leather was supposed to be "Camel" and the photos on line showed it was a light brown. Also available was dark brown. We opted for the lighter color. However it looked dark brown on arrival but the tags showed camel. Then the BIG Surprise, it is so uncomfortable. The seats are narrow and short - the recliner footrest is also short and hits you mid - calf. It was just not going to work so the next day I tried to return it through the Costco.com web site. easy enough it seemed. Anyway I saw on the form that I would receive an e-mail with further information - did not happen! Sooooo I tried to call the Costco.com phone number for internet returns. They apologized all over the place for being very busy what with Covid 19 and there would be an extended wait time to speak with someone. Okay so next I hear them say your expected wait time will be "96 minutes" !!!! No way to leave a call back number like most large companies. I did not hold. In checking status of our order it only showed "In Progress" not very helpful. Finally a week later I get an e-mail from Abbyson with a phone number to call about our return. Guess what,, a recording at Abbyson tells me that due to Covid 19 they are "working from home but will get right back about your purchase". That didn't happen either. But 3 days later some one called me and ask why we did not like the furniture. I explained why and then was offered a refund of $1500 off the selling price to keep it. We declined it is just not comfortable even though that would have made it a good price. That was on the 25th of August, I was told they would have a company call me about picking it up within a few days. Well we are still waiting for that phone call. Our thoughts are now.." If ya cannot see it touch it and sit on it forget it !!" Larry & Susan Swantusch read more

This is a review for their optical dept. I decided to give it a try and so happy I did. I had a prescription already. Costco is Costco. What I mean is that you can purchase a large quantity at a very good price and with great quality and fantastic customer service. I have been shopping at Costco when there was only one, the one in 4th ave. Now I am fairly confident that I have visited every store in Washington and Oregon. Today was different and this made it a special visit. Was the Holiday spirit? Or just great customer service, or sheer pity? It doesn't matter. I just had knee surgery a couple days ago and I am using crutches to get around. I hobbled myself into the store to pick up some milk and I was part way to the dairy section when a staff wheeled up in one of those electric carts and gave it to me. He said the lady at the front door saw me come in but since there were so many people coming along with me, she could not catch me. This was so nice since I am not honestly sure how I was going to carry the milk on crutches, but I was saved from myself with kindness and great customer service from a wholesale store and provided better customer service retail stores. read more

It's a nice clean new Costco. But customer service at the register failed today. Inexperience and a lack of empathy and attention to detail really marred the experience. Edward and his front end supervisor really need education on the difference between debit and credit. Edward ran my card as credit automatically and I wanted to get cash back. His front end supervisor (Jordan?) said I should go back and buy some "bananas." Total lack of customer service today. You would have thought with Jim Sinegal walking around employees would have been on their best. Guess not. #costcofail read more

At first, I was so "angry"! See, my kiddos school district was the first to cancel for 2 weeks and Costco pulls free samples! Now there goes my "lunch time field trip"!! How dare you Costco!!! Ordered my child's glasses, then we've been ordered to hunker down, distance ourselves from others and wait in line to get into Costco! So, I thought I will called the optical department in my pathetic attempt to skip the line or have them shipped the glasses. The sales guy was so understanding and efficient but he "***lied". He checked with his manager, called and let me know they will shipped the glasses at no extra charge but *** will be a day or two delayed. Well, that was yesterday when I spoke with him and UPS just delivered the glasses today!! Okay, I am going to "forgive" him for ***lying :)). Yea, Costco! read more

Costco Redmond is pretty great overall. They have a lot of great deals on all kinds of items, and new items that are fun to try out. They have a decent food selection at their little in store food court, and everything I've gotten has been delicious. There's a decent beer selection in 750ml bottles, but you're out of luck on smaller bottles if you're looking for stouts, porters, or hard ciders. We always get butter, milk, croissants, and berries here, as well as dog treats. They rotate a selection of dog toys, and they're pretty hit or miss on whether or not they'll be destroyed in the same day. We've found the service here to be decent, and the deals to be great! The parking lot here is MUCH better than the lot in Kirkland, which is a large part of why we come here. read more

Review is for customer service as I dropped $400 the other day, and asked the guy 'bagging' my items if I could please have them placed in a box. His response was that he was out of boxes but I could go to another lane to get some. I responded, "no thank you, customer service is not my job." He proceeded to toss most my items in the cart, and left a few sitting on the lane. I guess my hard earned money that pays his wages wasn't important enough to walk over 1 lane for a box. I left pissed off and offended by his lazy attitude. read more

The staff there is amazing!!!! I nice girl by the name of Bre, helped my mom and dad load their groceries into the car.

Everyone knows Costco: BIG amounts, lucky finds, you always spending more than you intended, super cheap rotisserie chicken, even cheaper hot dogs and pizza... you know, the usual! which is the same at every single Costco so I never thought about reviewing them, but last night they saved my hiney! Here's what happened, I went for a quick trip to get just a few things, and when I got home I realized I did not have my wallet on me. I remember having it while I was walking towards the parking lot, and then setting it on the shoppig cart (D'Oh!). I called them immediately and told them that I probably left the wallet on the designated cart area near where I parked, nobody had turned it in but the lady on the phone said she would send someone to look. Meanwhile I rushed there again to look myself, but when I arrived, I could see a Costco employee making his way to the Customer Service area with my wallet in hand. If it wasn't because of COVID I would have hugged the guy! What a relief, he probably had to go to several areas to look for it; it was 8 pm and freezing! So very thankful! Amazing Customer Service! Keep it up Costco! read more

Lately the service at Costco has been rude or nonexistent, and not just at the Redmond store. Been trying to buy a car battery they advertise but don't have in stock yet, and they refused to take my name and number to let me know when it came in, or let me reserve one to buy (offered to pay then), told me I have to call them every Friday to see if it came in with their morning shipment. When I call the guy tells me it's a fifteen minute plus hold, but he won't take my number to call me when he's got time. So I have to keep calling back just to see if it's in stock, all day, because they won't follow common service courtesy and take my name and number to call. I'm not asking for them to neglect other customers, just call me when they are free. Two weeks ago the Federal Way food court "cancelled" my four pizza phone order because I wasn't standing at the pickup window when he called my name. I was actually stuck in their main checkout line, and got there several minutes later, pizzas paid for. He told me if a customer isn't there when they call their name they immediately cancel the order. That's complete BS. I waited 25 minutes for them to remake my pizzas and watched as they called out names then shelved the pizzas to wait for when the customer eventually came to pick them up. One guy took well over 15 minutes, and they didn't cancel his order. Just mine. Then a sample lady yelled at me for taking a sample before she'd finished putting out all the samples. We weren't allowed to take anything until every single one (20-24) were finished and put on the tray. I told her I didn't have that long to wait and that no one else required customers to wait for ten minutes as she fussed with her samples, but she got angry and yelled that she knew how to do her job. Not. Have to say, customer service training must've been rushed or not given at all. Even the Returns desk guy was nasty when I asked for cash instead of putting it back on my card, because it'd entered another billing cycle and I wanted to use the cash to pay the bill. And earlier this year their Optical Department sold me glasses they knew would break, didn't warn me at the time, then refused to refund just six months later (yeah, these break easily and we don't refund them). Had to go to management to get them refunded. And they broke the nose piece off my daughters new frames, returned them without the piece and said then were unable to fit the lenses in the "invisible rim style." Again, had to go over their heads to get the frames replaced and bought the lenses in an hour at Lenscrafters. I do not enjoy my Costco experience anymore, and dread having to interact with anyone there, for any reason. Definitely going less often and buying less from them this year. read more

We purchased a new washer and dryer from Costco during their recent Memorial day sale. The units were the second highest rated combo by Consumer Reports.
