We visited Redmond Costco today (Friday) at 4:30pm. It consistently feels calmer and more laid-back than other locations, even during peak hours. Parking was not bad with minimal foot traffic in the lot. The entrance was clear, no lines or congestion. Inside, the warehouse felt spacious and unhurried. One of the highlights for me is the clothing section--Redmond's selection tends to have hidden gems, especially on clearance. This time, we snagged several skincare products at great prices. Even the deli area, which is usually buzzing, was unusually quiet. We got our food quickly, and nearly every table was free--I'd estimate about 90% were empty. It made the whole experience feel more like a leisurely outing than a typical Costco run.

Came on a Tuesday night so not as crazy busy as it could be...so ended up with a good experience. As one would expect in a metro area that contains World HQ, there are quite a few Costco's in the Seattle area. Located in Redmond, WA, this Costco Redmond opened in 2016 so relatively new. It has a good set-up, with a decent orderly connection between the warehouse parking lot and the gas station. The food court is located inside and the self checkout area is configured to handle two separate lines, each ending up with 3 registers. You have to be careful not to hit anything when a far register opens up. Very similar to how their gas station islands traffic patterns work, which isn't necessarily a good thing. Same process as other Costcos: need grab a cart from the outside and bring it into the warehouse, scan your membership card when entering, and show your receipt for verification when leaving.

Yummy, one of my new finds at Costco.

Went to Costco at around 10:30am today. Needed gas and some food items. I like getting gas at this Costco cause there are 3 gas pumps per line so it seems like I get done faster Heard there were some pretty decent markdowns on ladies clothes today. I scored a rain jacket, several jogging pants, sweaters and sweat shirts and thermal wear. Cold cuts, and a 16lb turkey for $6 and change!!!! Also a whole pumpkin pie for $3.00 Store was really busy and so many people are rather rude and dangerously pushing their carts and cutting people off

Standard Costco but one of my preferred locations. Getting gas here is easy and quick with 3 pumps per lane. Food court is located inside with lots of table seating. Service is quick and efficient. Costco always has good deals and I love the cheap pizza!

customer service was really fast and efficient, really appreciated how nice and helpful they were -- no hassle for returns. :) items are well-stocked, and the staff are friendly!

Only a Costco gas fan really. The quality of fruits hv bn guess n miss. The ability to return anything anytime is the best pro BUT dang the return line TAKES TOO LONG because it's always long out the door. So bc the line takes forever, i hv cut down on purchasing eye candy n stopped chucking in as I use to. Costco, time to create two lines after entering the return door. Also, I'm weary of how long some bottled products hv bn sitting on the shelves. I've had one too many food returns bc of staleness. Keep them watermelon boxes filled!

Strawberry sundae, 10/10

The hot dog, strawberry sundae are totally the shiz! Get it. Tons of fresh strawberry, and the texture of the ice cream is so unique. It's not like the usual hard stuff, it's soft, creamy with a really nice vanilla flavor. As for the shopping experience, I like this place over Kirkland and issaquah. Much bigger, and spaced out. In terms of number of items I'm not sure, probably the same as the other, atleast way more than issaquah for sure.

It's Costco, nothing really special. Can't say there's anything wrong or different about this Costco in particular but it's a great place to shop. As always it's always pretty busy so it's best to go during the day. The parking at this particular Costco is a little bit better than the one in Kirkland so I always bias here. The line for gas here always kind of sucks, but so does Costco gas. Also this seems like for a Costco it's a little bit smaller than average, so they have less of a selection than most Costco's. But of course the prices are always amazing, so overall it's worth a trip here when you need a restock.

If there's one thing I like about Costco, it's that they enforce the mask wearing very well. Admittedly, they have eliminated a number of COVID rules I had liked - no more cart cleaning, no more stickers on the ground telling folks where to stand at the cashiers. Inevitably, the person/family behind thinks 6 feet look like arms length. Anyway, this is a pretty new Costco in the area. I was very happy when it opened because it took the load away from the Costco nearest me. HAHAHAHA - evil laugh. By chance I was in the area and decided to drop by about 7:15pm on a week day. Normally, it's not nearly as busy by now. But, sheesh, it's still a mob scene! Too close to holidays maybe? Luckily, it did thin out by the time I was checking out, so it wasn't too insane. In the immediate area, I think options/inventories are Issaquah/Woodinville/Lynnwood (best), Redmond (good), Kirkland (essentials).

This COSTCO's tire center sucks! Poor service and very unhelpful staff. Tried it twice and both times had subpar experience. Never again

I usually only stop by for the beauty and health section along with refilling my water jugs with the alkaline water but I do really enjoy their seating area if you are sitting down for some sushi or hot food you just bought. I am very easy going and work in the grocery service industry so for me to complain is not a small thing at all. I went in with a bandage on my arm and was unable to use it so was just using one arm, came to a produce end cap I needed that was totally blocked off by one of the workers by two carts and a speed rack type thing. I asked if I could get in to grab some and he looked and me, said "go for it" and then turned away. I couldn't reach it nor could I move his things one handed. I asked for help from another customer who had a long reach and two hands so he could reach way over and get what I needed. I asked for help to find the fresh mozzarella and the young woman said to check with "the guy in the deli". I got to the check out and put the basket up on the counter and then was totally reprimanded for doing so at it was a danger and he had got his arm caught and on and on. There are no signs saying you need to empty the basket and being one handed it didn't occur to me. Then my phone number didn't work, despite being told every time I go in it would work the next time so I pulled up the code and then that was wrong because I didn't hold it in the right place. Then he said "oh you saved a whole .12 cents. Wow." So sarcastically that I hope he was kidding. No one was in line behind me so not sure what his hurry was. It was a thoroughly negative experience and at the end I was made to feel bad for doing what most shoppers do. I also wonder if anyone ever told him he has control over the belt being on and off. Leaving it off would be a way to control whether his arm gets so dramatically caught by a basket as he acted out for me twice. My arm was obviously and fully bandaged from surgery but that was not something he even noticed. I have zero desire to go back anymore. Used to do a lot of shopping there.

I bought one of their bunk beds (from Costco as I recall) over 16 years ago, and have moved, disassembled, and re-assembled it many times since. The design is smart and sturdy, and it is simple and fast to disassemble and re-assemble, even simpler than smaller items like chairs and coffee tables I have purchased from competitors. During my last move, the movers lost some of the hardware for the bed. I called these guys up (16 years later, mind you), and they knew exactly what bed I had and sent me the missing hardware via first class mail to my home in California so I could get back to reassembling the bed and settling in to my new house! Compare this to the experience folks are used to these days with fly-by-night online sellers who may not be in existence a few months later, much less answering the phones and supporting their products after nearly two decades. This level of stability and integrity is how business was done in the old days, and this experience has not only drawn me back to Epoch's product line, but encouraged me to think critically about where I source my other products. Purchase your furniture from these guys. Their quality and service are both top notch.
