Located in the marketplace at Factoria, it is a standalone anchor store with only an outdoor entrance (i.e. no indoor entrance from the adjacent mall). We came on a rainy Saturday, and since we were visiting the mall, figured we should stop in. I didn't buy anything this time (though my daughter and wife did...the single queue was consistently long but moved fairly quickly), but I did TRY to contribute by fixing this businesses listing on Yelp. It had the right address, but the location identifier was listed more than one mile to the south (noticed it when trying to checkin and it said the nearest TJ Maxx was 1.2 miles away)...so tried to fix that by submitting a business update. I've been a Maxxanista for the past 5 years of my life. I don't think I'll ever turn away. One thing I love about this place is the variety of items. I mean you're picking out leather pants, pots, skincare, pillows, and some random pasta from India all in the same place. I always meet some fancy ethnic people at the checkout stand. And I tell ya what, that line will get you. You can walk through the whole store with five items, go through the line and end up at the register with 27. Natalia is the worst manager I have ever seen. I used to like going to the TJMaxx store in Factoria Sq in Bellevue. But my recent experiences were not so great. I recently went in December 2023 when I witnessed how the store manager (Natalia) was talking down to an employee and shutting her off while she was trying to talk. That employee looked upset and embarrassed. I felt bad for her, because no one deserves to be treated like that, but I did nothing and walked away. Next time I came to the store that same manager was there again. She was assisting an employee that was helping me at the cash register. I asked them about the return policy and that really pissed Natalia off. She was extremely rude to me when answering and kept talking in an accusing manner, like I did something wrong. It was really unpleasant. After that I had enough and decided to leave. Natalia is completely unprofessional. She needs to be retrained or let go. Since I don't know her last name I can only describe her. She has dark blond, shoulder-length hair and speaks with a Russian accent. If someone knows her please comment here, because other managers in that store don't seem to care neither about the store reputation and an adequate customer care nor about the lower-level employees who have to tolerate the toxic environment that manager facilitates. read more

We lost our cart while shopping, and when we went to get our cart, it was gone. Looked for 20 minutes until my dad spotted the manager with our cart. We asked for our cart and she talked to us like children and said that it's not okay to leave our cart when we are older than she is. She then threatened to steal our bags next time we leave our cart. When we finally got our cart she spent the rest of our time there glaring at us and whispering to her employees. Place is fine, but management horrible. 0/10, never coming here again. read more

This place is hit and miss with customer service. Yes, it is a retail store and all, but man they hire some rude people. Generally I never have a problem with shopping here, but the last few times has been brutal dealing with employees. Overall the store is like any other TJ Maxx. This store is HORRIBLE. Customer service and managers are incredibly RUDE and not customer-centric. In general I love shopping all the TJX brands including Marshalls, HomeGoods, and TJ Maxx. Unfortunately I have had two horrendous experiences in one week. The worst one was with "coordinator" Roman S and his jewelry associate. I purchased a pair of 14k earrings and a "Made in Italy" leather handbag from the Woodinville TJ Maxx location for a total of $250 dollars earlier in the afternoon that same day but decided to return them because I found a few other items I liked better. I brought my original receipt and all original tags were attached to the two items. When I tried to return them here in Bellevue because it is closer to my home, they told me that the items were not returnable because the tag on the earrings was not installed the way they do at their store and the brand of leather bag was something they don't sell. However, after verifying the tag for the bag in their system, Roman said, "Sorry, it actually does match the verification and yes I can return it." I was like, well yes, of course it matches. I bought it earlier this afternoon! He offered to return it for me but then the other associate said, "Well why don't you just go to Woodinville where you came from?" I was very frustrated and called the Woodinville store. They apologized and said they would take care of me at their store if I could come back there. I drove 30 minutes to go back to this store from Bellevue. Christopher the manager at Woodinville was wonderful. He verified that yes indeed the earrings were stamped 14k gold and the leather bag was absolutely verified in their system. He said that their store had run out of the usual jewelry tags that attach to their earrings and so a replacement tag was made for the earrings before I bought them. That was why the tag looked different. He apologized and helped me with my return. After this experience at Bellevue TJ Maxx I do not plan to ever support them again. They made me feel like a criminal when I did absolutely nothing wrong. Even other customers watching told me "Wow, I can't believe how they treated you (meaning Roman and his jewelry associate)." As I was walking out I could also hear the jewelry associate saying very unkind words about me behind my back. This is unacceptable. TJ Maxx has lost me as a return customer. I will take my business elsewhere. Avoid this Bellevue store. read more

Good selection and friendly associated can be found at this location of TJM! I got the email invite for the seasonal special event on a Saturday morning and figured since I was going for a hike on i-90 I should drop by this TJM and see what their selection was like. One mini cinnamon roll and cupcake later I was happily roaming the aisles with my friend finding the best gifts for upcoming visits with friends and birthdays. I'm always impressed with the various things I find at TJM and this location was no different. The folks who work here were super friendly and helped me search for items when my hands were full. Parking abounds here making it a convenient location to spend an hour or two! read more

My wife applied to get a job here as English not her primary language she wanted to get the job so she could communicate with people and learn as she go. She made it through the interview then she was offered the job with minimum wage which she thought it's okay and the manager went on telling her once your background is completed I will contact you. When she got home we talked and did a little research she wasn't being offered fair amount. No sure if it was due to her English or simply taking advantage of her not understanding the wages, So I emailed her hiring manager and did explain based on my research she should be getting higher then what you offered her if we can renegotiate her pay since she have customer service experience as well. Three weeks past by no call no answer her background check was completed we still haven't heard about when she will start and if they even considered her pay negotiation. So she called the manager said she will email her so we waited another week. finally today I called and spoke with the hiring manager she goes oh I called the number on file which is a lie no call was received, second she goes oh based on the email we received we decided to not go with her and cause we can only pay what we said and we can't not offer her anything else so that's why we decided to not select her. So I asked her when were you planning to let her know? She goes I already told her when she called another lie . Then I asked her based on what you decided to not select her when you already offered her a job and she waited one month to start without applying anywhere else? She goes on saying based on the email so I asked we all have the right to negotiate our pay as an hiring manager your job is to negotiate either accept the higher pay of kindly decline and let her know this is max we can offer if you want to take it or not, But you didn't even bother to tell her that's the max you offer and give her an chance to accept the lower pay instead you decided yo leave her in the dark and just move on without letting her know. What kind of management is this She clearly need more management training and communication training. She wasted one month of my wife time and her hopes while her hiring manager already decided in her head that she won't negotiate and declined her. I am hoping they fix their mistakes before names are out in public. I have reached out to their CEO and president in hope that they can do the right thing I am hoping to hear back from Carol and Ernie. read more

My company is partnering with Marshawn Lynch's Family 1st foundation to provide kids and family in dire need of clothing. My wife and I spent two hours shopping then another 60 minutes just at the register. The cashier was very nice, as each item had to have a bag, receipt, and gift receipt- meaning individual transactions for each! None of them complained once and were very helpful even though the store was extremely busy. They even offered a chair for my pregnant wife to sit down on. We had three people assisting us. I can never actually find clothes to wear here, but my dog loves the selection of pet supplies here. There's a million dog bed to choose from with better style than your generic Petco or PetSmart and for a great price too. The home stuff are awesome, there's always nice mugs with cool sayings on them. I found a bunch of cute Pineapple décor to match with my value in life; stand tall, wear a crown, and be sweet on the inside. Hahaha. Everything is fairly organize and civilized. This TJ Maxx is located at the Factoria Mall in Bellevue, and is a spacious store. I've been to many different TJ Maxxs, and this one seems to be much cleaner and more organized than others I've been to. But with that said the place gets busy, so the selection for items is picked through. I love coming here to check out the home furnishings and accessories, and it was easy to browse through the aisles, as everything was well-displayed and organized. They also already have their seasonal decor, as there were many Halloween and Thanksgiving items. These stores always have the best prices for home goods, which is why I love checking it out whenever I'm here. The check-out line went by very quickly, as there was an employee helping navigate customers to which cashier to go to, making it a swift process. Just remember that this place gets busy and packed, so the selection can be limiting (like designer clothing for women) and parking can be hard to find. read more

This T.J. Maxx seems to have fewer items than some of the other T.J. Maxx stores I've been to across many states - especially in the clothing department. There doesn't seem to be a lot of stuff here, especially in the smaller sizes! The bag section is okay. I saw a lot of Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors bags floating around. Many of the employees are fantastic they give you a nice homey feel to the store. While shopping here I noticed that the managers at the store are very unorganized and some are also anti social, and anti black. I also experienced a few backhanded prejudice comments. If you are a poc and want to experience racism and to feel bad about yourself you should have a conversation with Kimberly the store manager. Another time I had come here I had experienced a very anti black comment for the store manager Diana. This is very upsetting to me that as a consumer of this store that these were some of the experiences that I had encountered. ** ZERO F*CKING STARS // BE WARNED - WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I usually come to this TJ Maxx on my way home from work and I generally have good experiences here, but they really pissed me the fuck off last night that it still bothers me today. I came in around 9:10 pm well AWARE that they close at 9:30 pm. I literally went in, looked around, and went to the register to pay. I didn't go to the fitting room or anything, literally in and out. Fast forward to 9:30 pm - I was in line and there were other customers who were in the store as well. Since it's closing time, I understand that people are tired, they want to go home, they want to get off work and relax but as soon as I reached the cash registers that's when my blood started to boil. So, I walk up to this register, super polite and nice, tried to ask how the man how his night was going and instead of him reciprocating my customer service he instantly went bitch mode on me. As the Indian man was ringing me up, he gave me all sorts of nonverbal and verbal gestures of how annoyed he was that several of us customers were paying or still in the store at 9:30 pm. He was huffing and puffing the entire time and gave me dirty looks as if I wasn't allowed to be in the store, mind you I came BEFORE they closed so don't you think I have a right to shop as I please? I literally wanted to cuss him out and slap him across the face for being a dick. But no, I let it go and tried to be the better person in this situation because I also understand and have worked in retail before. I got so annoyed by his unprofessional behavior that I even started helping him take off the hangers and you know what he said to me? "Oh yes, please help me. You are making me stay late." I was thinking to myself are you fucking kidding me right now. Okay, even then I still tried to hold my composure and be professional bc clearly, he lacks something called professionalism and common sense. Then his Russian colleague made comments such as "we always leave late, why do I have to stay 20 minutes late because customers come in last minute like this. This is what happens when we are too nice." The Indian cashier proceeded to instigate and added on saying things such as " I know, why do THESE customers come so late, we never leave on time" and then complained that he had to stay 20 minutes later. They both glared at me while voicing their opinions. Mind you they were both saying this OUT LOUD while I was at the front checking out. They were loud enough for their manager to hear their concerns who was stationed by the front door. After all that shit talking, the Indian guy had the nerve to ask me to open a TJ Maxx credit card. PFFTTT, bruh you are soo fucking rude, I WOULD NEVER let you have ANY commission off of me. I already have a short fuse and was literally about to cuss out the Russian lady and Indian guy bc I was so tired of hearing their bullshit. It's like they don't even notice what they are saying out loud. Now, I am by no means racist as I am a person of color myself. But keep your damn mouths shut and be professional about your workplace. At the end of the day, I am still a paying customer and I hate to say this but without my business, you wouldn't be getting a paycheck to put a roof over your head. I have never felt so disrespected before at any of the TJ Maxx's except for this place. The manager of this location needs to implement some customer service training bc clearly these people lack it and/or needs to be reminded of what it means to have manners. I love this store. Come here year round and it's like a treasure hunt. Right now there are a lot of suitcases and I can tell they're ramping up the college dorm items. Target next door has some storage bins and they're more expensive than they are here. The only challenge would be finding a lot of matching items at this place, like matching bins- it's kind of like you get what's there. I've hunted at Home Goods and Marshall's for matching items whilst collecting bar stools or of course Rae Dunn items and it's doable to find sets. I re-outfitted my whole kitchen with high quality glasses, silverware, and dishes by combing all three of these sister stores. You could also call around doe matches, the employees are pretty friendly. Something changed at this TJ Maxx after Christmas and they let the purchase line get really long. It reminded me they it's a true discount store which I don't think of often since I comb through for the brand name stuff on a regular basis. TJ Maxx has a good selection of kitchen & bathroom items, men's clothing, bathroom accessories, gardening, women's clothing, men & women's shoes, children's clothes and miscellaneous women's & men's accessories. Easy to notice from the main road, easy access from main road, friendly & helpful staff and a very clean establishment. TJ Maxx has good prices for brand name clothing and items. Tip: If you're looking for men's clothing find another place but if you're looking for women's clothing there's a large selection and a good selection of dry foods. read more

I don't know if it's the recession or what but shopping hasn't been that great. I was across the street at Loehmann's and I didn't find ANYTHING. I usually get something. Nordstrom's Rack wasn't much better so I took my mom to TJ Maxx just to show her the US version of Winners in Canada. I did a bag walk through and after the Rack, nothing looked appetizing here. Clothes, nope. Maybe I was tired from my long drive and prior shopping but i wasn't really into looking through the racks. Nothing caught my eye. The swimwear section was small enough that I could muster up some effort and I'm glad I did because I found a red bikini set for $16.99. It's a Kenneth Cole one that I've seen on Victoria Secret website. The bottom alone would have cost $50. It's a ruched skirted bottom and I only wear skirted bottoms. Check out was slow with only 3 cashiers. A bunch of random Easter stuff by the check out area. Weird Easter stuff like a bunny with foil - is it meant to look like wrapped chocolate or is it really a giant chocolate bunny? I think if I were younger, I would probably shop here for the t-shirts and jeans...young trendy stuff that's affordable. read more

T.J. Maxx in my opinion is the equivalent of Thrift Stores, except they carry brand new and name brand items. My wife loves this place so much, I can literally drop her off, go have a beer with my friends and then pick her up. She is a value investor, and since T.J. Maxx is always getting new inventory, you never know what is going to be there. Therefore, you can be surprised each time you go there. I recall years ago when I randomly showed up to buy some sox and ended up walking out of there with some Swiss Army luggage (yes, they make more than just pocket knives.) I recommend T.J. Maxx if you're looking for special deals and you do not mind rummaging through stuff. T.J. TJ Maxx is one of my shopping destinations. I love a bargain. TJ Maxx has slightly nicer lines than Marshalls and Ross. Shopping there is like hunting for treasure--you never know what you'll find. I know some people think that the quality is lower at off-price stores but really, how many times are you going to wear that blouse? Do you really think it's going to fall apart? I also like that even if I can't find the receipt, if the price tag is on the item and it hasn't been too long since I purchased it, I can get store credit. Not a problem, as when I'm returning something I can't possibly pass up the opportunity to do more shopping. I'm forever misplacing receipts. This TJ Maxx seems maybe a little emptier than others?
