Anthropologie has become the primary store that my wife will search out if we happen to be at the mall. I came here for lunch, so before we walked to the grocery store and filled our cart with perishables, she dropped in to see what was available. Hello, I have been going to this store forever as well as Seattle, Spokane. I've never been treated rudely. However two weeks ago, I purchased a candle and I believe I was talking to an "AI Robot." This female was rude but with a robot voice and no eye contact. She would not smile or say thankyou, I don't know where they found her but it definitely was a "Debbie Downer ," moment. read more

One of my favorite stores to shop in. They always have a variety of unique fashion items in there. They have clothing, accessories, jewelry, candles, kitchen items, skin care and many more! The store itself smells amazing and beautifully arranged. They always a sale section going on where you can find some great deals. The only con I have is that, this store seem to have less variety than the other stores i have been to in DC area and south Florida area, when I was living there. Felt the same way about all anthropologie stores I have been to in Washington state. I always receive information about the store by e-mail. And especially the sale information is appreciated. I often shop online. However, online shopping is often unsuccessful. I have to go to the store to return some item every time. I recommend that you bring the receipt(Invoice) that was sent to you when you returned the product or show the order form from e-mail. I use to love coming to this place, they always had high quality things here. The customer service though is hit or miss. It's near Nordstrom, which I like as well. The service is ok, but I came in trying to do a simple exchange and they wouldn't honor it. Keep in mind I had the receipts, tags. I was bothered over the whole ordeal. Beware! At the front of the store they have a sign that says "extra 25% off sale items" but you go in and they don't give you the extra 25% off because many of the discounted items are "promo discounts" not sale items....the sale items are in very back and it has to say "sale" not just a sign that says 30% off. Unbelievable! Very deceiving. Won't be back. I posted a picture of the green sign in front of the store. Also, when I went up To check out, she rang me up at regular price and I said "all throws are 30% off". She changed the price and never apologized or acted like she was mistaken. I won't be coming to this anthro in the future. I was courteous to the closing time by getting items Promptly prior to closing, however, I stayed in line for over 8 minutes with my hands full of breakables. Maybe it's my own pettiness, but I find it rude when not 1 of the 4 workers at the cashiers said "we'd be right with you" or radio for someone to come help. After almost 10 minutes of hearing loud speakers rushing people out of the store, holding large breakables I finally made it to the front of which I wasn't met with a courtesy "hello" or "sorry for the wait" but a curt "ma'am, while you're in the store your mask needs to be above your nose". I want nothing more to also adjust my mask but with 2 LARGE GLASS FRAMES IN MY HANDS FOR AGAIN ALMOST 10 MINUTES I COULD NOT FIX IT. I fully believe workers should be in a safe environment- but please don't ignore me and then meet me with condescension. Nah. read more

I'll give them two stars for the cute selection BUT I walked in 15 minutes before they closed and wasn't greeted by anyone until they casually let reminded me they were closing (which I already knew). They also apparently shut down the dressing rooms 30 minutes before closing so don't plan on trying anything on. Which makes it hard to commit to buying any of their $100+ items. read more

By far the worst costumer service. I walked in and went straight to the register to return shoes that my future mother is law got for me for the wedding. Even before I was able to say hi, the girl looked at the box and started talking down to me with the most condescending voice ever saying how they don't take shoes that are returns. I tried to ask for a bag to carry them back to my car, to which she started raising her voice at me and saying that it's their terms and conditions. Like first of all I didn't ask. We ordered a media console before Thanksgiving and it was due for delivery by Christmas. But the delivery team took weeks of delays and finally when they arrived, they broke it while unloading from the truck. People! Why is this store so beautiful and calming when you walk in? Kudos to whoever designed their store. I usually can't afford most of their beautiful pieces of clothing unless I hit the sale section at the back of the store (which I frequently do). Service is always friendly even when I'm dressed like crap which is nice. They don't mind you browsing all the pretty things even if you don't buy anything. I wished all the clothing pieces had an Anthropologie label as well as the name of the company/designer that produced the item for more cohesiveness. They change their store window displays regularly and it's always like a piece of art. You can join the Anthropologie club for free which gives you access to regular discounts and sales as well as having your purchase on file which makes it easy to return things. read more

I still miss when Anthropologie was at the Bravern instead of Bell Square, mostly because of the customer service you received at its former location than now. For some reason, service has really gone downhill here, especially compared to other locations like the Seattle Anthros. I love shopping at Anthro for house decor and French toiletries. It's really the only reason why I visit Anthro, so will stop by whenever I'm at the mall to check out their new collection. Not once has an employee ever greeted me here unlike when they used to at Bravern, downtown Seattle or U-Village. Even while browsing through the collection, with items in hand, I'll never be asked to set items on the counter so I can continue shopping which will happen at the Seattle locations. In one instance when I was looking for matching cloth napkins I saw online, I went in the store to get a set of eight, which they didn't have any on the floor. So I asked an employee about this and all she said was, "They sold out within the first week. That's Bellevue for you." She clearly had a negative attitude about Bellevue customers and didn't even bother to ask me if I wanted to see if another store had them, or if we could order it online and have it shipped to me. Horrible service. I'd recommend if you're looking for specific items then to visit the Seattle locations, as they will actually help you hunt down the items. Plus, the stock at the Seattle locations is larger and better, as they have much more house decor and clothing than here at this location. read more

I LOVE this store and I'm so glad they moved to BSquare! It's just so much more convenient to go to the mall than go to Bravern when there was nothing else at the Bravern that I really wanted to shop at just to go to Anthropologie. The space is def smaller though at the mall, at least it feels that way. My only ding is please make the sale space larger, it's soo cramped there and you can barely get through to see the clothes. I used Anthropologie as one of the sources for my wedding registry. BIG MISTAKE! I like the look and feeling of most of their products, which is why I chose it for a registry option... but this store left me disappointed and regretful. I went in last week to return 3 things, and as soon as I handed my items to the lady at the register she answered the phone. After she hung up, I mentioned that these items were from my registry. Then she told me that she has actually returned the money to the person who gifted it to me, and that "at least it was only twenty dollars." UMM... excuse me?! What a privileged thing to say. After that, I stopped chatting and talking due to my almost anger and confusion. I left the store, only to come back later to ask what could be done. I was not happy with the 1) attitude 2) the fact that now that person KNOWS I made a return, and 3) with the fact that I now had $20 less to spend at an already expensive store. The lady said she was "sorry" and that nothing could be done. I ended up asking the manager and she said the same thing. LATER, I called the customer service line only to be nicely told that "there is nothing that can be done, but their policy is to NOT do that, and that the lady at the counter should have known. And we will let them know there has been a complaint." Well guess what ANTHRO... I will never be buying from you AGAIN. Andddd... I will tell others who are planning their registry to do the same. Absolute waste of time, money, and energy. And this particular store in Bellevue is a waste of space. Be careful with returns here. I recently returned a jacket that I ordered online. all returns get refunded the original form of payment. Which makes sense. I paid from the website via PayPal which is connected to my credit card. They refunded back to PayPal but it never showed up. I called and they said it takes a few days to show up. It never did. I called back and they confirmed it was there. PayPal said it wasn't. $85. Gone. Hours on the phone. I even faxed over my receipts and nothing. I stopped in today looking for a birthday dress and I browsed around and picked a few things I thought I might have liked and to no surprise as this often happens - they looked good on the hanger but not on me. I stepped out into the dressing room area and there were three ladies there offering their help! Two went and picked out some dresses, I felt like a Barbie doll trying on clothes and loved it! All the ladies (forgive me for not remember their names - it's been a long day with a 4 yr old and 7 mon old) Well they were absolutely AMAZING and they helped me find the perfect dress for my birthday dinner tomorrow! Yesterday was my first time in your store and I will definitely be returning! Everyone was so incredible helpful and honest - they didn't say yeah that looks good to get me to buy the dress. They have me honest feedback - which was the best part because I didn't just want a dress for the heck of it and to spend the money. Another great store at Bellevue Square. Although I much preferred the Bravern location. The prices are pretty steep so it's an occasional splurge. I love the corky, one of a kind pieces that you can't find in any other stores. They carry beautiful dresses and jeans. Some of the brand jeans are pretty expensive but quality is superb. Even better when you can score some cool jeans and tops when they are on sale. Customer service is pretty good, the girls and friendly and attentive. And there's never a "thank you for your patience" or a "sorry for the wait". Women here aren't very pleasant or friendly. Customer service suffers- especially at the front registers. Additionally, they're incredibly slow. Seattle is faster and seems to have a stronger crew working. They need at least 3 up at register at all times (BV) and more genuine / authentic character would help store. Whenever I'm in Bellevue Square, I find myself entering this store because I know there will always be something new to look at. Most of the time, I leave the store with a bag full of clothes (｡´ ‿｀) Oh, and their bags are so unique -- the art on the bag vary from size and season; moreover, the handles are very comfortable to grip. Their interior decor inside and in their window display is always a sight to see! They hire professional interior designers and it always leaves me in awe when you get to see them in action. I especially like their bottle pyramid, though, I get the feeling that it might fall when I pass by them. The staff, in general, are very friendly. I love Anthropologie, loved it for years. Like any fan, I've spent thousands of dollars on very cute but overpriced clothes (sorry but it's the truth!). I wanted to point out that I've had great customer service at most stores but not at this one. Maybe I'm being petty with this review but I don't like being in a store where absolutely no one acknowledges me as a shopper until items are overflowing from my arms, in the fitting room, or until I am pulling money out to pay. I can pass right by an employee and get no help or a friendly hello. I've been to the Bellevue location many times and only when I'm I the dressing room area or paying, have anyone smile at me. I worked in retail in my young life for a few years and was always told to greet all customers. I go into a store like Nordstrom and am bombarded with hellos and helpful staff; there shouldn't be any difference at any store really. I guess it's upsetting because, in the end, I'm the idiot for continuing to spend money here but now I'm thinking it may be better to shop online or go to Seattle instead. read more
