Great prices, good selection and staff is nice. What more can anyone want from a retail store?

I usually enjoy shopping at this HomeGoods but during my visit I saw a manager/supervisor named Carrie speaking to employees in a very rude tone on the floor. Several employees looked visibly frustrated and upset, and the atmosphere felt tense. After her basically telling off an employee again, I told the employee that I felt bad for them and they just kind of shrugged and acknowledged it, and it honestly looked like they were trying not to cry. I've seen similar behavior from this same lady before the last few times I've come here to shop, and it made me feel really bad for the staff. That toxic dynamic is definitely noticed by customers, I know I am not the first one to notice. It's not right! read more

I never leave reviews but after several horrible customer service interactions with the manager at this store, Carrie, I feel like I should write this. I very rarely visit this store. Last time I visited, it was near closing time and Carrie told me that I needed to leave the store. After I explained that I needed to walk out an elderly family member she rolled her eyes and sighed with obvious annoyance. I did not say anything. However the next time I visited the store I had a very similar interaction where I was putting away my shopping cart. I guess I moved a cart I wasn't supposed to for whatever reason and Carrie runs over and lets out the loudest groan I've ever heard. I couldn't even believe this happened. I don't understand how some one like this is employed at this store much less a manager. Extremely awful experience, the obvious attitude from a customer service employee is a first for me. read more

I went here looking for a body pillow, as I had just had surgery and was staying in a hotel without enough pillows. Unfortunately, they didn't have what I was looking for. That said, I did ask an employee and he was kind and helpful, despite his inability to locate what I wanted (they were all out). My daughter found some cute shoes in the adjoining clothing store, so it wasn't a complete bust. read more

Medium sized store with a lot of choices. Given a gift card I used to get Christmas gifts and wandered around the whole place. Familiar with the chain, same standard things: home decor, furniture, kids, bath, stationary, holiday, kitchen tools/gadgets, snacks/chocolate/gourmet pantry items, and office accessories/decor. This store lacks a lot of the higher quality home decor items found in other locations like in Lynnwood and Gig Harbor but it may be because of the location in Issaquah and they being snagged faster. Shared space and cash registers with Marshalls. Easy to go between both stores. read more

HomeGoods - Home Decor Near Me - Issaquah, Washington

They think they can treat customers however they want. They will treat you like your stupid and don't know the store policy that's not clear anywhere. Then if you talk to someone else they don't even know what your talking about. They have no problem doing this to you in front of everyone in line or by the register. It's always $100 when you walk on there and get treated like poop. I don't appreciate customers thinking your a nut when your not. read more

I am a regular home goods shopper. It is my favorite store. I probably go to home goods weekly (however it's usually the Bellevue location)... my mother in law works at home goods in Atlanta... the point I'm trying to make is I LOVE HOME GOODS and am quite familiar with home goods. Ha Some say when I step into HomeGoods my eyes sparkle and I transform into Cinderella. This evening I had an experience at this home goods that didn't make me feel good. Matter of fact it made me super pissed. I was in a good mood. Happy to be at my favorite store. Piling my cart full of things I need, things I don't and a bunch of throw pillows that won't even fit on my couch. Happily I went to check out. I remember smiling and winking as I pulled up to unload my cart I'm about one-two items unloading in when the associate stops me and says, "will you take out the stuff from the bottom first." I kinda pause like huh? Cause I was momentarily confused on what she was saying or why it mattered I asked her what? She said to take out the items on the bottom of my cart first so that I "don't forget." Wait. What? Do I look like someone who would forget? Are you judging me? I didn't know there were such strict cart unloading rules... clearly I have been shopping wrong this whole time. Do I look like I was gonna sneak out of the store with a damn silverware organizer? I mean I don't doubt it happens sometimes... did I fit her description? Nonetheless shouldn't be a one anyway. But never in my years of coming to HomeGoods have I been told about this unloading cart order. They don't even make you do it a certain way at Wal mart or a dollar store.. I mean unless they want to unload the cart for me like at QFC or costco.. I missed the sign... the rule book... Like clearly, I don't mind being helpful. Maybe she has been victimized by people doing such things...8 get it. I worked retail.. But projecting it on me and making such a comment didn't sit well. Surely there is a better way to say that if it is a problem at this location. Or come help me unload or say it in a better way. When I confronted her on it- I told her I wasn't a very sensitive person so I couldn't imagine how it would make others feel. She backed it up that THEY do it that way or something like that... that's when I told her I go to HomeGoods almost weekly and never ever have been told anything like that. She started to retract as I was visibly upset. I told her it doesn't make the customer feel good. I started to walk away after paying and questioned another associate it a manager was around she said somewhere in the back and that is when I decided to just leave. I was already upset enough. I can probably count on a few fingers how often I have ever asked to speak to a manager hahaha not my thing usually hahaha but it was what and how it was said and I needed to ask about this new policy. Ha. Decided not to and would just yelp it?... But hopefully by saying something to her (I almost didn't)... that maybe she would think before she says things. It doesn't matter what I look like to Faith, it doesn't matter what issues she's had with other customers... but it does matter how and what you say to customers. Offer to help unload... say hey while I have this extendable scanner in my hand mind if I get those ones? I don't know. Just say it different so you aren't implying a customer will steal as soon as she pulls up. My mood is ruined- and I feel like the ugly step sister- not Cinderelli. Ha read more

Nice store and decent selection overall. The glassware and kitchen were very good as was the ocassional furniture, lamps, and mirrors...those were the highlights. Parking lot is a little weird and awkward though. read more

I love Home Goods. I honestly can't get enough of this store. While it can be a bit chaotic to maneuver your way around this store, you are bound to discover something unique and amazingly cute! They rotate through their items quite regularly so this is not the type of store for those that are indecisive and want to come back with someone for a second opinion... I personally spend a lot of time here on the hunt for the perfect items for my home. They have amazing selections of towels and pretty great quality! They also have a great selection of holiday items as well! read more

Great selection of items for everyone! Love coming here for the combo store (Marshalls+Homegoods) so I can shop for myself and the home. They have tons of variety for home items like dishes, pillows, rugs, lamps at affordable prices that would be double the price at Macy's or Bed, Bath and Beyond. Its definately more of a hunt to find items and sizes but worth the adventure for the good deals. Also the perfect spot for holiday gifts because you can find something for everyone and they have tons of options to choose from. It can get busy during the holidays but they have tons of cashiers and the lines usually go fast. The staff is friendly and they help you load any bigger items you purchase. Love finding designer and brand name items at affordable prices. You can get quite the steals with the right amount of searching. Also love the location at the top of the Issaquah valley and plenty of other shops in the area too. read more

it is a damn good thing i don't live in issaquah because i'd be here regularly. they have a huge selection and sometimes you have to wade through some schlock before you find quality items but if you're patient, there's a ton of stuff here and at great prices! i have bought everything at this location from bath towels to dog bags to clothes to body wash. today i scored some amazing portuguese ceramic bowls in the home furnishings section. i haven't had to wait in any long lines at the check out line and mostly i roam around unbothered my employees. as with everything at marshall's or home goods, you need to check for damage or imperfections but as i said, if you are patient and discriminating, you can walk out of here with some amazing deals. read more

They have some good furniture but you really have to do your online research and compare prices to see if it is a good deal before buying there. Also many of the furniture pieces have minor defects, which is ok, if they are truly minor. They should dump about 10% because I wouldn't even donate to good will some of the things that are damaged. There are some good treasures in the rough which is why I still gave it 3 stars. We bought a few pieces that we are still satisfied with. At least you don't have to build it with a Swedish diagram and 3,000 parts. read more

This is the best home decor store I've found around the Bellevue area. The prices can't be beat, and their inventory is so much bigger than other stores like Ross, Marshalls, or TJ Maxx. Using a standard Marshalls store for comparison, picture 3 kitchen sections, 4 home accessory sections (candles, fake fruit, book ends, etc), 2 art/mirror sections, 2 decorative pillows sections, then add a crazy selection of decorative upholstered chairs, area rugs (25+ options), and a corner full of lighting options. They also have many different dressers and outdoor furniture. This store really is a one stop shopping experience. You could get dishes, silver wear, baking utensils, decorative accents, wall art, an entire living room set, a patio table set, and top it off with a yoga mat. It feels like a mall for your home instead of for your body. I love it!!! read more

I've never been to a HomeGoods before so this was my first time. I saw all the grand opening hype and decided to check it out. OK, so this is my impression of a HomeGoods store: If you combine the home decor sections of TJ Maxx, Ross, and Marshalls, organized the merchandise then raised the prices 30%, that my friend is your HomeGood store. It's alright. I left empty handed. All three times. The items I have liked were over priced when I could get the same items at TJ Maxx, Ross, and Marshalls for 30% less. Regardless of what I think it's been a packed store each time I've gone. It's getting the popularity vote around here for sure. read more

Give me a break...this store rocks, I never leave empty handed. They have new things twice a week because they sell so much. This is a great addition to Issaquah and I'm happy they're here. People walk around with smiles on there faces because they're so excited. They really have a lot of cashiers also and keep the line moving. I really wanted to like this place! The Bellevue Home Goods is awesome but Issaquah, not so much. Skinny isles where 2 carts cant pass each other (customers seem entitled to take up the isle. Not the stores problem) and a horrible customer services check out clerk named Evita that I have had to deal with 2 times! I cringed when I went in a few days after I got her the first time and it said isle number 4 available and it was her again with the same bad attitude! read more

I can never leave here empty-handed. There is something for everyone, especially at a discounted price. Take your time; there's much to see. The aisles can get a little narrow towards the back of the store by the bedding since there is so much stock, especially when there are so many people in there with shopping cards, but it's well worth paying a visit. It also connects to Marshall's next door. read more

Absolutely terrible service. I was here tonight for a simple return. There is a line of customers 7 long, only 2 cashiers are working while 3 other employees stand behind the counter chatting it up. Although you can find some good deals here, Be prepared to wait in line and don't expect good customer service, they rush you through the line once you have waited just to get to a cashier. read more

I could spend a fortune in here. They have everything you could ever want for your home and then some. It is attached to the Marshall's so it is a one stop shop that could max my credit card out in less than an hour. Name brands at a fraction of the cost. Sheets are the best deals. Very disappointed with how this store made me feel the other day. I had purchased some merchandise from them and it was defective. When I tried to return it, I pretty much got the third degree. I had spoken with another manager to verify I could return the item (of which he said I could) but when I got to the store, the female manager on "duty", said, "Well, he's not here. I am!" which precipitated a series of questions, I.D., etc. I showed them a receipt, but because my item no longer had the tag on it, they dragged their feet and hemmed and hawed over it. REALLY??? Here's my advice to them; Offer a store credit then, but don't make people feel as if they need to give a pint of blood before you will even consider a refund or store credit. Seriously! I want to love this place. I can't tell you how many times I've walked in and walked right out because of the long lines. The savings just aren't worth it! The store never feels crowded, but the line is regularly 10-15 minutes of waiting. They have no sense of urgency. read more

We are new to the area and always love checking out our local home goods. When we lived in Seattle we were stuck with going to the Alderwood location so this one was a nice change. It's located in a beautiful shopping area and connected to Marshalls so that you can spend even more money! They have a great selection of furniture, although sometimes hard to navigate with a cart. Because both Marshalls and Home Goods feed to the same registers it can sometimes get backed up but they're good about getting more cashiers when needed. Definitely worth a visit read more

Like another reviewer has said, I cannot walk out of here without something in my hand either! They are great if you are looking for tchotchkes! I have found a bunch for my decorating needs here and at very good prices. I found two beautiful pieces for my shelves for under 20 dollars together. I also got a great Nicole Miller rug here which I spent around 150 after hunting at West Elm/CB/Catalogs etc. Its large and my main focal piece in the living room. I get compliments all the time and it was worth the wait of me hunting for the right carpet and finding it here. Fun store if you like decorating your home. They also have tons of pet beds and accessories if you are looking for your furry friends (which I manage to find something to pick up for the dog when I go here). Their kitchen and dining/serving piece section is pretty darn good too and if you need something for a housewarming or hostess gift, bet you can find something. Like other stores similar, you have to hunt a bit, but its worth it if you have some time. Hate the parking lot for some reason the way it was designed and bothers me each time, but I know the store has nothing to do with this. read more

This is probably one of my favorite Homegoods locations. It's attached to Marshalls, which I love because I can shop at both at the same time and only check out once. The Marshalls side is nicely organized with clothes and accessories, where as the Homegoods side is stocked full of everything you'd ever want for home accessories and decor. I could probably spend hours here and honestly wish I was able to every time I enter the doors. I always find something I'm looking for and even things I didn't know I needed, but suddenly can't live without. I don't live in the area, and have these stores in other locations much closer to my house but am willing to drive further to come here because I love it that much. I can't speak much for the customer service because I don't usually interact with them unless I'm checking out, but definitely plan on coming back many times. read more

Bad customer service with Cashier Kylie. Very rude and arrogant attitude. I was fine through out the whole checking out with her indifferent face and no greetings at all, until she rudely took the solid wood furniture out from my cart to inspect, then dropped it back to the cart roughly, without telling me anything why she did this (I left the furniture in the cart at the first place, because it's kinda heavy. I thought she could use the scanner to scan the tag, but she suddenly came out from her desk and took the furniture out, and no explanation at all the whole time). I said could you be gentle with the furniture? She said nothing like not hearing a thing. Then I asked for the manager to describe about it. But the manager in the evening shift did not apologize. Only asked me if I needed help loading. I hate to raise this as a racial issue, but I have to say I'm in color and I felt to be discriminated. read more

Drove up to the Home Goods store in Issaquah because I had called them earlier in the day to see if they had a particular mirror in stock. The sales clerk said she had two and would put them on the counter for me but would only hold them for a few hours. She made it quite clear she would NOT hold them all day for me. I arrived just two hours later but no one could find the mirrors. It was a mess. The man in charge had another worker walk me back to the mirror section to help me find the mirror. We could not find it. Finally another worker said there was only one mirror and she did put it on hold for me. Frustrated, I walked around the store and found a couple of nice things to buy. Basically, you can find some nice items on your own but definitely do not rely on help from the staff. They're in dire need of procedural training and customer service etiquette. read more

One of the absolute BEST places to shop for home décor of pretty much any type! They have so much high quality items here you will want to redecorate every time you come in. This location seems to have particularly high end items, but still at a low cost. As others noted, the customer service is not great (all the cashiers are always awesome, but the managers need to work on their social skills!). I saw someone have a cool lamp that they said they bought there, but nope....did not find anything even remotely similar in the lamp dept. or elsewhere. I am surprised that some people found this place overpriced. Their products are very inexpensive in comparison to the identical product of that brand elsewhere. I bought a scanpan csx Dutch oven for 90 dollars, when it's price at other stores is 200+ dollars. Same thing for cast iron pans and Chantal cookware. Love home goods. Muahhhh read more

Worst customer service ever!! Hey FYI to you sales folks, if you don't like dealing with customers then find a different job!!!

The store is fine and has good deals. My problem and looks like a lot of people's problem is the checkout line. I've waited in this line on many occasions and witnessed a line of 20 plus people waiting while only 3 registers are open and 3-4 employees just walking around behind the registers putting merchandise away. Seriously? Can't they put the merchandise away when there is no line? I even witnessed on my last visit this same scenario and I kid you not, the manager on duty Ryo, walk back and forth and out staples in the staplers while the customers waited for more registers to open up. There were two other employees besides Ryo, Who were just walking around putting stuff away. Again, the returned merchandise wasn't piled up where they HAD to start putting them away. My wife loves this store so I beg the regional management team to evaluate how they train their staff, especially managers, on how to address the line situation. read more
