I try to avoid this pharmacy if I can. They are slow and unorganized. The Doctor called in a prescription 5 days ago and it still wasn't ready when I went in to pick it up. They kept telling me daily it would be ready the next day. Finally I just went in and sat there while they filled it. This is not unusual for this pharmacy. It is just awful. read more

I was treated very disrespectful and i was returning two unopened items with a receipt. The mock employee Catharine said lighters were not allowed to be returned. I said that is not true I looked up the corporate policy prior. She then said I can't buy cigarettes with a gift card and this was another lie because I have shopped at rite aid for years. I called corporate to confirm that I was discriminated against. Rite Aid policy is what everyone is entitled to but unfortunately not me and I have never had any problems at rite aid and shopped there for years. Its ok here. It located inside a street mall. The store here is kind of old. The inside looks a bit sad. But its interesting that it doesn't just sell band aid and pharmacy stuff. I walked in and saw flower pots to food. Its just that the decor here looks really sad. Customer service is ok. You walk in and just go find the stuff you need. read more

The store hasn't replaced its lighting in decades. Everything has a disgusting dingy yellow lighting. This location is constantly understaffed. The pharmacy is always on break when I arrive. Last fall a homeless person was wandering around the parking lot yelling at customers. Go somewhere else. read more

Martin & Ayman are the nicest pharmacists I've ever known. They are so helpful, kind and courteous. I actually like picking up my prescriptions now. They make my experience at rite aid a very positive one. If you like being treated with respect and you live excellent customer service than I suggest using Redmond's rite aid pharmacy. All the pharmacists are so nice...I just don't know everyone's name, or I'd post them too. They are all so nice, very helpful, fast and efficient. Martin and Ayman always greet me with a smile and remember my name. It's feels good to be treated so kindly. Ooooof. God, this place is such a bummer. I have driven by it many times through the years on the way to Redmond's finest teriyaki down the other end of this strip mall. Today I walked inside. I bore witness to the tired, tired linoleum, and the tired, tired fluorescent fixtures, and the washed-out looking merchandise pegs on the weary pegboards. Even the dirt here looks tired. The employees and managers certainly seem a bit battered, and, given the perpetual motion machine that is retail commerce in Redmond, you can't help but feel for them. They don't seem to be getting the support from above that they need to make a go of it in the shopping combat zone around them, and new competition keeps springing up. Awful place. It's not clean and has very poor stock. I don't like it and rather go to Bartell where you can find everything and at a better price. They don't have enough staff to give you service so if you are looking for any product, you must look for it by yourself. read more

This store continues to spiral further down hill as time goes on. I have officially switched pharmacies and drive to Bellevue's Bartell Drugs on 8th even though its way out of the way. I feel a lot safer with the Pharmacists at Bartells keeping track of all my medications for interactions with each other and for things that mess with my Epilepsy. read more

This store rates a 3.5 stars, actually, but I'll round up. I like this Rite Aid, for the most part. It's really big, well lit, with wide aisles and clear signage suspended from the ceiling, so you can see from the front door where everything is located. They have a fairly large selection of nearly everything. I usually come here to or from Target, and I've noticed that the prices of items are comparable: sometimes Target has a lower cost on an item, and sometimes this Rite Aid does. I usually compare the two, and it averages out about the same. One difference between the two stores, though: there's rarely an employee around, nearby, at this Rite Aid, to ask for help. Every time I'm here, it seems understaffed. Today I was here to get some vitamins and I needed to ask about certain supplements. I couldn't find anyone on the floor, and the pharmacist was busy. This store has a great selection of greeting cards and seasonal items. Also, the sales on items can't be beat. Today my kid and I got some fantastic body oil at 75% off, and I paid around $2.50 for each bottle. Wow! There was only one guy at the cash, though, and another lady cut in front of me, and I wasn't too thrilled with the check-out experience. All in all, this is a decent store and I always find what I'm looking for here. read more

Awful service ! The hours say until 10 pm They closed the doors at 9:45 and said they have to count the money. I've worked in retail and that's not how things work, you keep the doors open till the posted hours end, then you stay after and clean up and shut down. If you can't pay your employees 15 min past closing time to shut the place down something is really wrong with your finances OR you should just say you close at 9:45. read more

This shop sells an interesting mix of goods - everything from prescription drugs to food to stationery. Happily for me, they sell peanut butter M&Ms cheaper than Safeways a few doors down. The pharmacy is doing great job, but not nearly promptly. When a doctor sends a prescription, they don't fill it until the recipient comes to the store - this is a failure, not filling the sent prescription defies the whole purpose of why doctors are sending prescriptions directly to the pharmacy. I went to get my meds 2 days after the prescription was sent to the pharmacy, and the pharmacy said they never fill a prescription the day it arrives because they are too busy, which was a very lame excuse, since it has been 2 days since the prescription arrived. They offered me to wait for 1 hour to get my meds filled. So, I had to return home and will have to go back for my meds again tomorrow, because the pharmacy disregards prescriptions sent directly to them by doctors. Any pharmacy is expected to fill prescriptions in the same order as walk-ins, one should not wait inside the pharmacy to get a prescription filled - one should just pick up 20 min after the prescription was sent by the doctor. read more

Ack. Horrible. I call in my prescriptions ahead of time. Are they ever ready when I pick them up hours later? No. Next day? No. Is my prescription ready two days later? Sometimes, no. Because it's a partial fill and I have to come back to pick the rest up in two of three days. Do I fill it the same day every month? Yes. Does the automated lady call me to tell me to fill the prescription? Yes. Is it totally unreasonable to expect them to have 30 days worth of a drug I fill every month on the same day at the same location? Apparently. Since this location has been robbed a few times there's a new security guard there ready to beat you with a baton when you attempt to pick up your prescriptions. He doesn't make me feel safe, he makes me wish I didn't look ethnic. He stands too close, he stares and tries to intimidate. I'd move all my prescriptions elsewhere immediately, but I'm moving soon and am waiting until I know what the nearest drug store will be. Mr. Creepy Baton Man pushed me over the edge. read more

I did not wait too long when filling my prescription in the pharmacy, and also found some deals in the store too.

Today my Dr. emailed 2 prescriptions for me to this Redmond Way Rite Aid. I had to wait a bit, but the pharmacist was so nice! The assistant too. I wasn't feeling well and he took the time to explain the meds and wished me well. Later I called with a question about side effects- again he took the time to explain details and was very kind. I went to pick up a prescription and there was a young Asian girl behind the counter that helped me... or lack there of. She had a terrible demeanor and snotty attitude I asked her what the prompts were for me to sign on the key pad and she told me to just read it. Not helpful at all and unwilling to even try and explain. Super rude. Not impressed with her attitude and lack of helpfulness. Needless to say I probably won't be returning. read more

After discovering this at the register and showing the cashier, he told me there is a micro-type label on the price about it. I went to pick up a new prescription for my dog. My vet had faxed the pertinent information prior to my arrival, however it was not filled yet. I sat patiently and waited for this prescription and my total was $81. I was shocked by cost but being new to the state, I swallowed hard and ponied up the money. However it didn't sit well with me, so I called Walgreens and Costco, only to find out that the same prescription cost ONLY $8! Same pill but 10xs less elsewhere. Sorry RiteAid, you will not rip me off. I will take my refill elsewhere! read more

This Pharmacy is incompetent.. I had a prescription it was kind of hard to read so they said they would contact my doctor the next morning and my prescription will be ready in the morning. I go to pick up my prescription the next evening and they still say they can't get ahold of my doctor even though Bartells was able to get ahold of my doctor because they also had to verify a prescription that I had dropped off that same night. This staff is obviously an unorganized and unprofessional I have an appointment in 2 days and the prescription that they failed fill is vital for me to be taking but they are of course in no rush to fill it read more

Wow. Be very careful about doing business with this rite aid. The pharmacist and assistants are so bad. Not only is the lead pharmacist always have a scowl on her face, she does not speak english very well and she is always angry. In reading these reviews, it is clear that she is a big problem, so I wonder how she keeps her job. She seems so miserable, I cannot imagine why she doesn't just find a new job. A friendly tip would help her out a ton.....smile every once in a while, it makes the customers feel good, and like they are being taken care of. The overall store is drab, and quite filthy. And, Rite-Aid, please save the automated response about "if you would like to discuss this further, please call".
