End cap display with digital pricing
    Eva M.

This is one of four QFC stores I frequent, by far, it's the newest and biggest, although soon to be challenged by the new Kirkland Urban QFC which is opening soon. This location, on average, has the widest collection of everything, from flavors of ice cream to types of pizza, especially if something is on sale and the other stores are cleared out. During the most recent visit, I found the baggie of all purple potatoes that two other QFC and one Fred Meyer did not carry. Once again, my faith in this store is reinforced. During the recent visit, I was surprised to see digital pricing. (See photos) Partly impressed and partly appalled with the electricity used. Sigh. Maybe that's less wasteful than the scraps of paper used to denote sale prices every week. At this location, there's also a Panda Express, if you like that. Me - I just think it makes the front portion of the store smell funny. :P

Hey QFC, thanks for the 85% ground beef! At $7/lb I'd expect better than this 24 hours later. N-A-S-T-Y. Covid-19 is no excuse to sell garbage to your customers.

This QFC always has things on sale in the deli you can grab for a quick lunch or snack. My favorite parts of this store are the Panda Express, Starbucks, the bulk cookie stand, and $5 sushi Wednesdays. I'v never had bad customer service here, and the sushi quality especially is amazing. Tip: check your produce, especially berries! They aren't always refrigerated, so I frequently find one or two moldy berries in a container.

This looks nothing like the birthday cake I asked for. Very disappointed. A month before my son asked for a birthday cake in the display so I took a photo. I showed the photo when I ordered the cake. I was told they did not have the primary colors balloons, only pastels, and if they did not get any in they would supplement with a Spider-Man mask decor. No Spider-Man decor but the here are the pastel balloons that I didn't want on a cake that looks nothing like what was expected.

Chemo pills we tried drop off at QFC pharmacy. We were trying to be good citizens and we didn't receive any answers for any questions.

Written for our Saturday, February 2, 2019 Visit: Panda Express employees were the most friendly and helpful here. This review isn't for them. The night staff at this QFC in the specified date treated us as if we were inconveniencing them. We were directed to the night manager by an aloof male associate for questions. The night manager was so disinterested in helping us. He wouldn't even make eye contact and kept up his tasks at the register with an air of disinterest. We asked when the pharmacy would be open for medicine drop-offs and he gave us an attitude. Our question was not 100% unanswered because he didn't offer a time window of when to return. He told us he didn't know! We had to ask him in the first place because we couldn't find hours online or in-store. Aren't managers supposed to learn and know these things? Night manager also probably assumed we were homeless tweakers because I was carrying a random trash bag full of junk. My trash bag was full of actual teratogenic chemotherapy pills. We were dropping them off at QFC because the person, my boyfriend's mom, had already begun to die. My bf and I were very tired and sad because we had been taking care of my boyfriend's deathly sick mother 24/7 (who passed on 2/6). You know, we sometimes just need questions asked face-to-face so as to feel like we're having a normal day without having just witnessed a family member slowly dying of lymphoma. We sometimes just want a normal answer to a normal question without your bitchiness. We were basically treated poorly and I'll never forget the Saturday when we went to QFC to get our sad task done only to be met with poor behavior. The aloof associate we originally asked for help took steps afterward to hide away in one of the aisles so we wouldn't bother him. He saw us coming and ducked to hide. Classy! I worked in customer service before for over two years. This is definitely not the proper way to treat store visitors.

The store is very clean and well stocked. Every time I visit, I use the self checkout and love the number of machines they have. You rarely have to wait for one. The staff members are friendly, and the sales are pretty good. There's a Starbucks and Panda Express attached.

Pharmacy isn't all it's cracked up to be. If you on medical/medicad you're at the bottom of the to do list.

The store itself is well-organized, making it easy to navigate through aisles. I appreciate the seasonal selections and unique products they offer. It makes it very easy to find new recipes, especially at a time where other grocery stores are significantly more expensive. My most recent trip only cost me $60 for 3 different types of meats, 3 fruits, and lots of miscellaneous items like flowers! With an efficient checkout process and friendly employees, this Trader Joe's remains my go-to grocery stores!

Walking in, the place is pretty small, compared to other Trader Joe's in Washington. The quality of the fresh items aren't the greatest, we were looking for strawberries that were organic, and they still had leaves in it and some looked like mold was formulating. Other food items however in the frozen aisles were good, they always have new items and I really enjoy how spacious the aisles are from one to another. The service itself wasn't the best. Every Trader Joe's i've been to people are ALWAYS asking about your day, how you are, or even the bare of smiling and being nice. The guy who checked us out had a straight face the entire time, literally no expression. I just felt like the staff here isn't as friendly as Bellevue or Kirkland's location. Overall, I wouldn't come back to this Trader Joe's ad my first choice, it was smaller than the other location, less quality on the products, and staff weren't friendly as other locations.

SAFEWAY @ REDMOND…read more Parking is available in a large plaza shared with other stores and restaurants, and there's plenty of free parking. I was easily able to find a spot right in front of Safeway, and there is also handicap parking available. I had never been to this Safeway location in Redmond before since I usually go to the Kirkland or Bellevue locations. This one was huge. Walking in, there was a giant sign saying they were hiring, and the store itself felt very spacious with so many aisles and a wide variety of items to choose from. I definitely think this Safeway has a much larger selection compared to other locations. They even had organic green onions, which I want to point out because every single time I go to the Kirkland location, they never have them. I really loved how much more this store had to offer. They also have both self-checkout and regular checkout lanes, which is always convenient. My only downside, and the reason I'd knock off a star was that there were a lot of workers restocking items right in the middle of the aisles. It was around 1 PM, and there were boxes everywhere, especially in the frozen aisle, making it difficult for people to get through. Restocking like that feels more like a nighttime or after-hours task, so it was a bit frustrating navigating around everything. Overall though, I would definitely recommend stopping by this Safeway. It's spacious, well-stocked, and I really loved the variety and the small deals they had going on, especially in the fruit section.

It has however changed over the time, the staff don't seem friendly, I've walked in a couple times and just been fully glared at by staff in the front. Bathrooms are dirty and it's pretty sticky floors. There is also workers smoking on the side of Safeway outside right by the Handicap, no issue with smoking, but they are ALWAYS lingering around where customers are walking to the car. There is also homeless people always out front where you enter 124th street. Other than that, the selection is great, there is a Starbucks in the store as well, and the produce is fresh. I really enjoy the bakery items, they are delicious and the workers are always kind there!
