I had a fairly great experience at this pharmacy actually! I was nervous coming here because of the long list of negative reviews I saw but you know what, Walgreens must've listened because I got what I needed quickly and it was covered by my insurance! I even happened to be there at a very busy time, 4pm on a Thursday, and there were several ladies working efficiently in the pharmacy. Nice job ladies! read more

There is one staff member in this pharmacy who is very helpful, his name is Kais. There were a few times I showed up near closing time and really needed a medication, Kais was nice enough to fill my prescription on sorry notice. When it's closing time, he doesn't send people who have been waiting in line away. He closes the pharmacy door, but keeps those who have been waiting inside until they get their prescriptions. I really appreciate that. All other staff members, such as Jia, made it complicated and inefficient for me to get my medication. I haver to call everytime or they don't even work on my prescription. I placed a same day delivery order and it's been 3 days and they tell me we are waiting on doordash to pick up, don't know how long it takes! It is just unbearable! Walgreens needs to do something about this branch. It is literally dysfunctional! read more

The location itself at Overlake Crossing is great as it is in a shopping plaza with a Trader Joe's. It also has a drive-through for picking up your prescriptions, and the store itself is pretty sizable. Unfortunately, the store experience is not great. I dread picking up online orders, as the customer service here is slow. I wish they would have a locker to pick up orders or add self-checkout machines for checking out. It would speed up the process if one of these suggestions were realized. They need more than one cashier at the checkout during busier parts of the day. Walgreens is getting more and more run down. There's always just one cashier so the wait times can be long. If you ask them to help you out in the photo department, they tend to get snarky at you saying they're the only one today. The photo department breaks down a lot so oftentimes my prints don't get done. I placed an online order and half my order isn't in stock and I never got an email confirmation that my order was ready for pickup so when I called customer service, they told me oh, it's ready! But an hour or so later, I get an email saying my order was cancelled because I didn't pick it up in time. I wished there were price checkers available as the signs often do not match the actual prices and when I ask the cashier to do a price check she gives me this eye roll and sighs. Take your business elsewhere. This Walgreens is a mess. I waited on hold for over half an hour to speak to the pharmacy. They finally picked up the phone but didn't speak with me--just put me directly on hold. I sat on hold for another five minutes until the phone started ringing again (because I'd been on hold too long), at which time they picked up the phone and hung up. I finally went in-person to speak to the pharmacist, and it was shocking how misinformed the pharmacist here is. The information they said is just WRONG. Like verifiably incorrect--I'm surprised the pharmacist is so poorly trained. I drove over to the other Walgreens in Bellevue and had a much better experience. I usually like to shop at Walgreens, however this store was so far the worst I have ever been. It had a really bad customer service. I needed to use the restroom to change my baby and it was locked. There was no one around to help so I went back to the cashier to ask for help. She told me I needed to press a button there for help and I went back and did it. I waited and waited and waited. No one never came to help us and I finally gave up and wait back to pay for the toy I got for my daughter. If is was not for her, I would just leave the store without getting anything. Places like that does not deserve my business and unless i really need to buy something from this Walgreens in a emergency, I don't intent to ever go back there. I've had similar experiences here between the store and the pharmacy. First, there is a pharmacy here, they have a drive up window, I've noticed that there is a Walgreens express app to get meds faster (although there is no separate line necessary for this app to work well, and when I checked it out online the site wasn't in service), and they have a digital check in for vaccines. The store is mid-sized. It is packed with a little bit of everything from grocery, to paper goods, to cosmetics, health and beauty. There are fridges along two walls full of drinks. There is a small but decent selection of liquor, including quite a few options of single serving containers. While the employees and pharmacy techs are all very friendly, the service here is very slow, regardless if you're buying groceries or visiting the pharmacy. My worst experiences was coming in and being the first in line at the pharmacy, only to wait 15 minutes to be told it wasn't ready when it had been called in the next day. I came back later and was first in line again. Waited 10 minutes. Then I grabbed a roll of paper towel and was told I had to wait a few minutes. A cashier came up about 5 minutes later to check me out. This just isn't acceptable when this is located at in a spot where people are likely trying to rush to work and from work to home. The location is too convenient to never go here, but I keep it very minimal, I would recommend you do the same! read more

Located in the Overlake Crossing strip mall, within walking distance of the apartment we were staying at, this instance of Walgreen has the standard selection of medicines and quick food items that are purchased on convenience vs price/value. My wife and I stopped in to finish our grocery shopping by picking up some toilet paper and dryer sheets. They carry the name brands, and along with the nearby Trader Joe's, can probably be used to maintain grocery needs. As noted in other reviews, the store wasn't overstaffed with folks, but not much was put under lock'n'key so didn't require help until checkout. There is no self-checkout so stood in line for a bit, but it was fine: correct price charged with no payment issues. The cashier seemed to be personalizing the shopping experience for each shopper by striking up a conversation about an unrelated topic...perhaps a bit unusual, but nothing obnoxious about it and if it lets her get through the day with more joy, what's the harm? read more

The store feels very open and clean. It's stocked very well and I can always pretty much find anything I need there. The staff at the front register is friendly, but if you need someone while shopping, it's pretty much impossible to find someone that's working on the floor. There's always a long line and wait at the pharmacy whether you do drive-in, or you go into the store itself. And the pharmacy staff could use a little more training and being a little more friendly but they get the job done The only other drugstore close by is Bartels on 8th and 156, and I would choose Walgreens over that Bartel location of every single time since I have seen the management of the Bartels there be very rude and mean to their employees several times. And I will not support a business that does that.. and the Bartel's pharmacy staff is always miserable to interact with. So go to this Walgreens! read more

Disappointing experience. Cashier told me to use Google when I asked where something was in the store. The pharmacy closed five minutes early. I came back the next day for the pharmacy, and someone there told me they don't accept sharps. When I asked what the nearest location was that does, they didn't know in a blunt manner and waved me away. I'm diabetic and traveling, didn't want to fly with used needles in my bag. This is supposed to be a Pharmacy yet between there being no Pharmacist on duty at all to the entire department closing for lunch (they have apparently never heard of staggard lunches, if you need a prescription refilled and are prepared to make multiple trips and then get in a thirty-minute line the is where to go. Not a fan. They apparently lost our photo order which was a bit frustrating. When we went to pick it up they reprinted it to remediate the fact they couldn't find it. Once we got home we realized some photos from the order weren't in the envelope. Should have been a simple job after placing the order online and picking it up in person. read more

Drive thru pharmacy window super long wait. The two cars before me went through, then it was 20 minutes before they came to me! When I pressed the call button they hung up on me without listening for a response. Incredibly rude, I will take my prescriptions elsewhere in the future. The pharmacy. Oh my god. I usually can't be bothered writing reviews and I'm even lazier about finding new pharmacies, but today was such a giant fuck up that I will never go back. The person serving me deleted the prescription while I waiting, told me to come back after they called the doctor to send another fax. Then the prescription got cancelled altogether but no one told me. I had to call back to find out, then they told me I'll need to call the doctor myself to get it resent. I do that, then finally get the message that all three prescriptions have been filled. When I get there, somehow my insurance card changed since this morning when they filled the first two, so the third prescription couldn't be filled. They had to re-enter the card information and told me to come back later because they needed more time to fill it. It took over six hours to get this sorted out. By the end of it, I was losing my mind. Never again Walgreens Pharmacy on Ne24th & 156th. You are dead to me! The store itself is fine. I'll go back there. read more

This Pharmacy: Never again! The website claiming I could get easy travel vaccinations was just wonderful, I signed up, got a text message reminder, and I was expecting great things when I showed up to the store. My expectations were dashed immediately. The store was filthy - pharmacy counter was full of hair and dust and other things. The overworked and less-than-competent staff accused me of being late because I waited in the 'wait here' line for 35 minutes. The intake took another 30 minutes and they were unable to figure out how to bill a vaccine to insurance. A woman was overdosing on drugs laying on the floor next to the pharmacy and the pharmacist simply said "she's fine, I've got my eye on her"...before she projectile vomited and still the staff didn't call 911. In hindsight, I'm not sure I should have let them give me my typhoid vaccine with this level of professionalism. read more

Since the pandemic started, they've either overworking their people or management changed or I have no idea.. It's really bad and I've since changed pharmacies. It takes days to fill a prescription. No updates, nothing. I can see it online as 'in progress'. After 5 days (running out of meds) I call them and they're like 'Oh, we can fill it in the next hour'. Fine, it probably got lost in 'the system', right? Well, this exact thing happened three times! I guarantee that if my doctors sends them another prescription, it's gonna go through the same process. And it's not even a complicated prescription to test a seasoned pharmacist, it's a damn cream in the original packaging. Also, calling them is a challenge in itself. Reserve at least half an hour, because they don't answer. Sometimes they do and hang up but sometimes, someone will actually talk to you! When that happens, you get a strange feeling of accomplishment, which I think is great. Went in to get a flu shot. I blame myself for the decision to go to this pharmacy. With an appointment, after signing all the waivers and stuff, I waited half an hour for the nurse to finish chewing the fat with the rest of the staff while the line of customers kept growing and growing. Nobody cared. Also, unrelated to this location but with Walgreens in general, they STILL sell cigarettes and tobacco products. In 2022, a pharmacy is still selling cigarettes. This should be the only evidence of how much they care about the general well-being of their customers. read more

Every time I've gone here it's been a cluster %#ck. Today was no different. It seems that every transaction takes 10 to 15 minutes. The woman helping me appeared to not know how to do her job, often staring at the computer screen for long periods of time without seeking the help of others behind that glass that might be able to help her. Meanwhile, a line of 10 people grew behind me with nobody else opening a second window to help. My vaccination / flu shot appointment time was 11AM. After much confusion and finally getting a form to fill out it was 11:30. And there weren't that many people there. Finally had the pharmacist appear at noon to administer shot only to find out I hadn't been properly charged, so had to back and stand in slow line for another 10 minutes. Scheduled a 1:30pm appointment for COVID booster. Received my confirmation. Showed up at 1:20pm. Was told rather rudely that they are closing for lunch between 1:30pm and 2:00pm for lunch. I explained I have a confirmed appointment. The reply was "our systems are messed up". Sorry to hear that, but that's not my problem. And given my appointment was scheduled several days ago, plenty of time to call me and let me know. Oh, and my appointment the week before was canceled unilaterally. Made flu shot appointments for my mom & I. Waited in line 20min & made to counter at appointment time. Took us another ten minutes to get paper/clipboard... then, pharmacist says my mom's Medicare info is not registering (she goes to PCP at VM regularly & always has no problem from pharmacy at QFC). We received our flu shots here previously in 2020, but then, we had no problem. I received my flu shot an hour after appointment time...but pharmacist did not make eye contact or even say hello. (Yes, they are probably short-staffed & stressed; but please, treat customers like fellow human beings. Having worked in hospitality, their lack of soft skills irks me. ) Recently I had Titer/blood test to screen for immunity. I signed up to get Tetanus shot in 2020 here... but my recent results for immunity against Tetanus (Tdap) resulted in negative. wtf? Took relative for appointment to get flu shot & RSV vaccine at a Safeway pharmacy. We only waited 15minutes & staff were all friendly. Walgreens pharmacies overall seem short-staffed. But this particular Walgreens pharmacy, seems best to just avoid. Store part is totally fine... so reason for bump to a 2nd star. read more

This place should be shut down as it has the worst customer service ever. I need pain meds and antibiotics for my sinus infection and my doctor sent in the prescription at 1 pm. I called them and they said they are working on it and again in evening to her said it will be ready by 9 pm and I will receive message. I never received a message and had to suffer all night long. They were okay till a year ago and then the situation has gone crazy due to mismanagement of staff. Last year they told me to come on weekdays to get Covid shot as it's faster. I took my kids out of school for few hours and came here for a Covid shot last year and they took 2.5 hours to administer it. I had to call and and ask to expedite it every 20 min and there was no one in front of us in the queue and the nurse in there was doing nothing when we went inside the room! read more

Count Your Pills at the desk! Went in yesterday to pick up 28 tabs of percocet (pain pills) after an operation. When I got home I thought "this doesn't look like 28 pills". Counted them and indeed I only received 24. I called to get my 4 missing pills. Maybe it was an honest mistake? But the pharmacist let me know that they always do a re-count and that the 28 number is not normal. It takes a PHd to count 28 pills these days, I guess? Hmmmm. Wonder who go the 4 missing pain pills there? Well, in their favor, they said for me to come and they will give me my 4 missing pills. Too bad I had to make an extra trip back there, especially after an operation. Needless to say, I'm moving my business to a pharmacy I can trust. read more

This is the most ridiculous pharmacy ever. They don't open during lunch hours. They don't open past 6pm on weekdays when people usually pick up prescriptions after work. And they take long long lunch breaks. Me and other customers often walk in and find the pharmacy department closed off. What's the point of running a pharmacy if you're not even open to let customers pick up prescriptions? I'm taking my business elsewhere. read more

I usually try to keep my bad reviews to a minimum because sometimes stores just have bad days but this Walgreens is truly a mess. The first time I went there they were closed due to "Low staff" which was ok at the time because the prescription wasn't needed immediately but for someone who has a serious illness/condition that could be a huge problem. At this point Ive had at 5+ prescriptions sent to this store which Im realizing was a mistake. When I call to check on my prescription status they take SOO long to answer the phone (UPDATE: The reason they take so long to answer their phone is because they have the phone turned basically all the way down. An asian lady in a white coat and pink top walked past the phone multiple times when it rang and didn't answer it once) and when they do Im met with a passive aggressive tone from what sounds like an Asian woman, Im not too sure of her name but she answers the phone all the. One time I called and had questions about an pharmacy order that I set to be delivered to my door and she was rude and even put me on hold in the middle of me talking. Any other time I call she just sounds like shes really irritated with the fact that I even dared to call. I personally have never had any issues with the shopping section of the store but their pharmacy needs a new staff and a new manager ASAP. I don't understand how they haven't closed because they have such horrible reviews. Until their mess of a pharmacy is fixed Ill be switching to a different pharmacy. UPDATE: I went there today 04/13/23 to pick up my last prescription from them and while I was there looking at the makeup I noticed that the makeup has been sitting there untouched for so long that its starting to separate which makes me wonder how much of the makeup there is expired and hasn't been taken off the shelf. Not only that I bought a gatorade while I was there and unfortunately did not realize that the safety seal and the lid where halfway off the neck of the bottle. I didn't notice until I got home and was trying to figure out what was making my hand wet and when I lifted the drink up there was white stuff floating in the drink! At first I thought maybe it was sugar that separated so I shook it and none of it dissolved it just kept floating. Its not expired either. I cannot make this up and even if I could I wouldn't. Very rude and unprofessional pharmacy. Went in to get my wife's passport photo taken. They weren't taking passport photo on that day. So went to rite aid near by. Unfortunately, the passport photo was not cut and ride aid did not have the equipments. So next day went into Walgreen to request and see if they would help out with getting my passport photo cut from the printed sheet. Initially the person who seemed like the branch manager asked me to wait. He sent a staff, an elder lady working there. She looked at the photo sheet, grabbed the rite aid cover from my hand and said this is not their shop and refused rudely. What happened next shocked me even more. She rudely shoved the photo into my hand, turned and walked away. The manager seemed to be just watching all this. Completely unprofessional and rude. Would have at least politely declined. read more
