    Prime rib sando

Review is for their cooked and prepared foods section. I absolutely love their prime rib sandwich! I get it weekly and make sure they don't forget the au jus. Seasonally, their lobster rolls and egg sandwiches are definitely worth trying!

We love the Metropolitan Market. They carry a great collection of fresh fruits and veggies, their baked goods are great, have a good hot bar, and fresh sushi. I love their collection of cheeses too. They are open late and have friendly service.

This is a review specifically for their prime rib sandwich. You. must. get. it. If you love prime rib like I do, you'll be satisfied. The quality isn't superb but it's decent for a posh grocery store like metropolitan market. If you ask the carver nicely, they'll give you the pieces that you want (more or less fatty, end pieces etc). I ask for extra horseradish on the side and they give it to me for free. The dip is a little too salty for me so I use it very sparingly just to moisten the French bread. Also, it's a crime to let the prime rib sit and dry out so once you order eat it right away!!! Highly recommend!

    Medium soup. Crackers.

So I went to my favorite soup spot to buy some soup and crackers, come to find out that the crackers aren't free the whole time. I've been shopping there NOBODY has told me that they weren't free. I would've gladly bought them but they don't put a price next to them, so I assumed they were free like every other store I get soup from. But I'm just so sad and made me feel so guilty. The guy at the self checkout so rude, he made me feel fat and guilty

    Self checkout

Visited Metropolitan Market for the first time and noticed it had two separate entrances, but only one had working checkout stands. The other entrance had a register area that was blocked off. It left me wondering if it'll be opened in the future. Inside, the store had a wide variety of selections, including fresh seafood and a hot food section with a self-serve buffet bar. The layout was clean and inviting, and there were employees available throughout the store, which made the experience smoother. Parking, however, was a bit chaotic. The plaza was packed due to several nearby businesses, and the busy intersection didn't help. Despite the parking situation, the store itself was impressive and worth the stop. JY review

    Little poké bowl for $10.
    Smaly K.

I came here a few time to grab some lunch during my work lunch break in the afternoon, and they seem to always be running low on their hot table items. On my last visit, I decided to get from the poké bar, and it's a bit pricey; it was $10 for my small container. I got the poké shrimp, and when I sat at my desk to eat it, I couldn't enjoy it. The shrimp was still frozen. I was pretty disappointed with my lunch and probably won't care to get from the poké bar again. I guess I'll stick to their "The Cookie."

Have been stopping by this location more recently on the way home from work to pick up a few things. While I have only walked to the store, they do have free parking in the building garage. The store is on the smaller side compared to other Eastside PCC locations. Store interior feels a bit sterile and usually quiet when I shop here. Not a bad thing if you like shopping in a less crowded store. And I will say the store interior is an improvement from the old store which looked dated. It is not my favorite PCC to shop at, but I will continue to frequent it when I am nearby and looking to pick up some groceries.

It has however changed over the time, the staff don't seem friendly, I've walked in a couple times and just been fully glared at by staff in the front. Bathrooms are dirty and it's pretty sticky floors. There is also workers smoking on the side of Safeway outside right by the Handicap, no issue with smoking, but they are ALWAYS lingering around where customers are walking to the car. There is also homeless people always out front where you enter 124th street. Other than that, the selection is great, there is a Starbucks in the store as well, and the produce is fresh. When I finally asked, "Are you ready?" he said, "well I was.." Then proceeded to get the order completely wrong (at no point did I say I wanted broccoli on my pizza - pretty sure I'd remember that, and I can't imagine anything that even sounds like broccoli that someone would want on a pizza). I would've just picked up some pizza slices if they hadn't looked sad and dehydrated from sitting under the heat lamp all day. There were about 5 other customers waiting in the deli area also needing help, with no one to be found. 2. She seemed to have heard me because she left the aisle. Due to putting my chicken in a separate new bag, the scale on my register went off and called for assistance. She came over, counted my items, and released my register. This was not without small comments of "Well it's my job" after I asked her to please count my items and check my cart as it was empty. She continued to hover behind me as I scanned my rewards card and went to the pay screen. I politely said I no longer needed her help, to which she just replied "OK". I then asked for space. Any normal person would not want someone hovering over them as they are putting their PIN in. She proceeded to tell me that the whole self check out service was her space actually and tried to say she was waiting in case I needed help again. On the payment screen. I do not believe I've ever needed help from an employee to pay my groceries. She proceeded to escalate things, would not stop making comments, would not disengage.
