Adding a separate note to give a shout-out to this QFC for having a fruit snack area for the kids. Kudos!

I've been here a bunch of times, and there's a reasonable range if you're not after anything super crazy (i.e. goat cheddar and nonstick baking mats are out of the question). It's also in a pretty convenient location, and there's plenty of parking to be found. Customer service has been pretty good too. The staff seem to know where items are (unlike other stores where they just send me down the wrong aisle) and they're pretty knowledgeable about the local produce as well. This QFC has a considerable deli/to-go food section. The sushi is relatively decent if you want something quick, and the soups are pretty filling (plus you can get as many packs of crackers as you want). I had a deli sandwich once and they're pre-cut, so mine was a little bit dry. They also sell Top Pot donuts in the bakery daily. Yum. That said, I went there today and there was a fruit fly infestation around the onion and potato stand. SO GROSS. We ended up going to TJs for our fruit/veg. Luckily this review is for the average of my experiences there, so it evens out.

About seven years ago, I came to this QFC store looking to buy some flowers. I used those flowers to ask my longtime crush to the high school dance. I think for the rest of my life, I will associate the Totem Lake QFC with that memory. I came back here just a week ago looking for food this time, and still I'm reminded of those flowers... There is a shortage of food options around this area. There's Olive Garden, a whole bunch of fast food restaurants, and QFC. I think I'll take the QFC. The store is very clean, upscale, professional-looking, and inviting. It is sufficiently big and includes some cool parts like a cafe and a pharmacy in addition to the usual deli, etc. For my lunch here, I just picked random items and ate at one of the cafe's tables. A spicy roll (ten pieces of sushi) for $5.99, a Kombucha drink for $2.50, and 0.27 pounds of chicken tenders for $1.89 ($6.99/lb). An unusual choice for a meal I know, but this stuff was pretty good and the prices were reasonable considering how nice of a store this is.

They should be changing the trays in the hot bar every few hours to maintain the fresh look and they should get rid of the old burned food. They also serve the same soup everyday. It's never fresh after 2 pm. They also used to have some nice potato soup and they stopped serving it. It's the sane few soups everyday. I just don't think the people that work in that department are happy to be there. I got screamed at one day when I asked when a fresh chicken will be out and he told that there are still chicken out there with anger when there was only two pieces of dry chicken setting there. Terrible way to talk to customers. I am hoping they can do something about the hot food bar and soup selections soon.

Have been stopping by this location more recently on the way home from work to pick up a few things. While I have only walked to the store, they do have free parking in the building garage. The store is on the smaller side compared to other Eastside PCC locations. Store interior feels a bit sterile and usually quiet when I shop here. Not a bad thing if you like shopping in a less crowded store. And I will say the store interior is an improvement from the old store which looked dated. It is not my favorite PCC to shop at, but I will continue to frequent it when I am nearby and looking to pick up some groceries.

It has however changed over the time, the staff don't seem friendly, I've walked in a couple times and just been fully glared at by staff in the front. Bathrooms are dirty and it's pretty sticky floors. There is also workers smoking on the side of Safeway outside right by the Handicap, no issue with smoking, but they are ALWAYS lingering around where customers are walking to the car. There is also homeless people always out front where you enter 124th street. Other than that, the selection is great, there is a Starbucks in the store as well, and the produce is fresh. I really enjoy the bakery items, they are delicious and the workers are always kind there!

And the location is right on a busy stretch of NE 85th Street that is close to I-405. The customer service was great. I had mistakenly picked up the wrong box of berries that were not on sale and told the self-checkout clerk that I would run back to the produce area to grab the right ones. When I came back, the clerk offered to ring my groceries up herself. I really appreciate how she went above and beyond. Little gestures like this help to rebuild customer loyalty.

I've been to this Fred Meyer multiple times, and I always enjoy coming here. The store itself is gigantic, you can find everything from clothing to fresh fruits, veggies, snacks, and so much more. A lot of items are usually on sale, which I love. They always have great deals like "buy two, get one free," and their fruit selection is especially my favorite. They even have a Starbucks inside! The staff is really friendly, and I like that they offer multiple checkout stations. There are two different entrances, and both sides have checkout lanes, plus self-checkout options. It's always a smooth and easy process. Overall, I really enjoy my experience here at Fred Meyer.

I also want to give a shout-out to the amazing staff at this Fred Meyer, especially the wonderful women I see a couple of times a week in customer service and self-checkout. When someone finally showed up, they made direct eye contact with me without any acknowledgment whatsoever and just started stretching dough. When I walked over to them and asked if this is where I put in a pizza order, the rude response was, "I guess I can do that" but just awkwardly stood there continuing to stretch pizza dough. When I finally asked, "Are you ready?" he said, "well I was.." Then proceeded to get the order completely wrong (at no point did I say I wanted broccoli on my pizza - pretty sure I'd remember that, and I can't imagine anything that even sounds like broccoli that someone would want on a pizza). I would've just picked up some pizza slices if they hadn't looked sad and dehydrated from sitting under the heat lamp all day. There were about 5 other customers waiting in the deli area also needing help, with no one to be found. 2. Twice, I've attempted to pick up an online order, and each time the designated pickup spots have had a vehicle parked with no one inside them. This wouldn't be that big of a deal if the parking lot wasn't a complete DISASTER. 3. Look, I'm a dog lover, but really the last straw was the entitled customer whose dog peed on the floor in the grocery aisle as she meandered through the store. Not one employee even noticed, and this dog wore no service vest. Never mind the outrageously high prices at this store, the customer service is either rude or non existent. I absolutely recommend going to a different WF store.
