I've had enough experiences at this QFC to say with confidence: something isn't right. On multiple occasions, I've been followed, watched, and treated with blatant suspicion by staff--first a manager, then recently a security guard and others. I wasn't loud. I wasn't disruptive. I was just shopping. But from the moment I walked in, it was clear I was being stereotyped. The energy? Off. The respect? Absent. I do my best to stay calm and collected, but being profiled like that--humiliated without cause--can push anyone to their limits. It nearly did. And that's what I'm trying to avoid. I'm not writing this to stir drama. I'm writing this because everyone deserves to be treated with basic human dignity, regardless of how they look, talk, or dress. If you're serious about serving the community, QFC, you need to take this seriously. Your staff need training--not just on customer service, but on bias, respect, and how to de-escalate, not provoke. This QFC is nice for a few reasons. It is part of a large plaza of other stores and because of this they allow validated parking. This is a nice offering, that lasts up to 4 hours. If you do some shopping then feel like grabbing some Starbucks, some things for your pet or do some banking and boutique shopping to name a few, you can do so all in one trip. Just don't forget to validate your ticket or you get charged $3. That said, there is a nice parking garage that has plenty of spaces and allows for grocery pick up. At this QFC there are multiple entrances. There are two entrances from main level one of which has Free 10-minute pick up parking, there are elevators and stairs entrances and another with an escalator that brings you to the front of the store. There are many QFC's and thus far, this is the first one I've seen that has this many entrances and therefore exits. What I also like about this particular QFC is that they hire a lot of special needs workers. There are several throughout the store, doing well with their duties and always pleasant when spoken to or asked for help with something in the store if they can. This goes for most of the staff. Not sure if all the QFCs have this as I've only been to a couple so far, but there is a manager's special rack where I've scored some real discounted goods in or around aisle 10. So, for being a large sized QFC complete with Starbucks, multiple entrances, validated parking and hiring folks with special needs. This QFC is A-ok. read more

Am I in South Lake Union? Because I feel like I am when I step into this QFC in the Kirkland Urban. Anyone else remember when in this very spot of Kirkland Urban there used to be a freakin' TGIF's and people actually went there to get drinks and hang? Now all of a sudden, guys with too much gel in their hair are frolicking around Kirkland. K, enough of that. But seriously, this is one of the nicest QFCs I've been to. Yes, QFC is my main grocer in Bellevue, but am thinking the downtown Bellevue location has a long ways to go with this branch around. The store is very open, spacious with an outdoor patio, adjacent to a bar! You can drink at QFC now, apparently. Order some Tutta Bella pizza, which QFC partners with, as one section of the hot food bar area is dedicated to making wood-oven pizzas. LEGIT! The selection is the best here. Way more specialty items than what I've seen at other QFCs, an air-conditioned pod that you can put your dog in (wtf) and designated underground parking that's free when you shop here. If I ever need groceries while in Kirkland, I know exactly where to go. read more

Five stars for Jamison st the QfC bar who's great selection of beers on tap, wines and even some sparklings and a frozeh- all served with a great smile. We sat outside enjoying our drinks along with a pizza from Tutta bellla. The pizza was OK. You could share it if you were not that hungry or each get one. The gal that took our order was lovely in her cat mask. She aims to please. It did concern me that one of the gentleman making the pizza did not wear his mask properly but he did so when I pointed If you're preparing the food you really need to wear the mask properly - that means over your nose. I will go back and see if It happens again I'm hesitant writing this top star review because it is already so popular - :) already hard to get a table outside., (but u can inside) , prices are phenomenal at the bar and Jamison is awesome. IE i'd like to keep this treasure all to myself, it's already so busy and popular. However for and if you're reading this yelp review I owe it to you to share this gem. Nice looking place, same prices as other QFCs, free parking. I should be a fan. But prices are wildly inaccurate. Staff are hostile about honoring the posted prices, even with photos of prices on the shelf, even with the low price physically attached to an item (with a sticker). How can they think this is acceptable? Obviously if the low price is on the item, that's the price they should be charging. Instead, long delays to get a manager -- and, amazingly, manager protesting that the price is too low, must be a mistake, he can't honor, he could get in trouble. What kind of unempowered manager is that? And is this even legal, to put a low price on the item and not honor it? I've never had such problems at other QFCs -- price errors seem to be more common here, and staff definitely less willing to fix errors when they occur. read more

Plenty of underground parking and it's actually a great place to shop especially when it's raining outside as the escalator leads right to the store. I think of this as a super QFC with Starbucks, bar, pizza to go and so much more. This grocery store is well lit, huge with hot food bar, cold food bar, large veggie area, bakery, butcher. I like the mix of fresh foods with your standard grocery store items of canned foods, frozen area, dairy area. It's like everything is laid out in this store as a one stop shop. I have also found good deals on plants and flowers. Prices are reasonable for the area. I do enjoy the cake and cookie selections at this particular bakery. It's a great place to shop and large enough that customers are not tripping over each other at rush hour. read more

Newly opened a couple of weeks ago, just a few blocks from the Kirkland waterfront. As expected, everything is new with some new wrinkles, such as the made to order pizzas and an indoor outdoor bar. I saw a wine tasting area as well. Cool space. Considering the cost of retail space in the area, they packed a lot of stuff into the space. I liked having the produce area up front. And the trippiest thing was the pick your own mushrooms. For now the underground parking is free, as they are finishing up the area. read more

I'm updating my review to a 4 stars after a couple of recent experiences. In short, they try, they really do, and that means a lot to me. I recently transferred several prescriptions to them on different occasions. On each occasion, they struggled with their processes - which window to approach them, checking if they have inventory, checking insurance, getting their order transferred, etc., etc. They weren't familiar with how long the transfer would take (dependent on the responsiveness of the other pharmacy). It was irritating at first (2 stars experience) but the most recent one transaction was smooth (4 stars experience). They knew to check everything; it was on-point. What made me decide to write a new review was that they honored the prescription transfer coupon each time, including the most recent time when they didn't have the medication on hand (before coupon expiration date), and it was filled after the coupon expired. They honored it. I thought it was very righteous of them to do so, and they had a workaround (bonus points) in place to honor it even though it wouldn't scan. They're getting there. They still have only one pharmacist and one tech in place at all the visits. Be aware of possible lines. The pharmacist today (Katie) was very, very proactive asking each customer if they had any questions. I haven't seen that for a long time at any location. read more

I'm writing this review just based off of the grocery experience, not the pharmacy. My initial experience is from the QFC's in downtown Seattle. This QFC is much more open, spacious, better produce, and cleaner. It might still be very new. The produce was so perfectly placed. We could get around without bumping into folks. They had a great variety of items from quick grab and go to your typical groceries for at home preparation. They have a cafe seating area to do work. They have a couple self serve check outs as well as registers near their 3 entrances. This location is a breath of fresh air with people flow efficiency, variety of products, access to parking. Maybe I just need to move to the east side. read more

A prime example of "How Not To" design a grocery store. 1. It's very very noisy. Why? High ceilings and concrete floors with no sound attenuation. With a lot of customers inside it's like being at a noisy airport in India. Other... Disparate, and in some cases out of date decor colors and sign fonts.... aisles that are layed out wrong, a frowning manager named Kevin who exudes negative charm, the under ground parking garage floods and even requires validation, few ground level pick up spaces, etc etc Overall it has less charm than if you moved a dying casino into a abandoned Home Depot in Newark. You know the QFC brass were just playing monkee see monkey do when they designed this and just don't care about their customers. Proof is the Welcome sign cleverly hidden behind a concrete post! This new qfc is a epic retail design fail that shoppers should avoid.. or wear hearing protection to and on rainy days bring some waders for the underground parking garage... Oh and don't expect friendly greetings from managent, they simply don't know how to do that. read more

We've been there twice so far and actually enjoy the new store and parking garage. On our second visit, the cart escalator was working and it was fun using it. They have a good choice, the store feels light and airy and the staff is nice. They also have a tuttal bella "take-out" station, which I thought was fantastic. I'm wondering though on the parking, its free now, but it seems that there are pay stations going in? I hope there will be validation, cause why shop and pay for parking, if Fred Meyer and Safeway aren't far away with free parking. Just something to consider for the owners of the building. read more

Huge QFC, which is good because you'd have a lot of selection of everything. However, entry and exit into this store via car and then dealing with parking validation and parking your car and then the escalator or elevator is a pain. All those things make it a pain to go to this store so I would recommend somewhere else to do your grocery shopping. read more

I was looking forward to the new QFC and went shopping the first day. They have great selections of everything. However, the noise level is so high that after 10 minutes my head was buzzing. The same happened to my nephew visiting from out of town. I was hoping that it is not so noisy when the store is empty, but unfortunately not. The architect did not consider putting any material into the store to bring down the noise level. The concrete ceilings reflect the sound and increase it. I was excited to get my prescriptions from here :however, I particularly did not like the customer service with the pharmacy employees. 1-They misspelled my name even though had my driver license and insurance card 2-They sent a coupon for new prescription or a new one, when I had my new medication at the counter I somehow I dislocated my coupon then they said I can bring it later if I find and they would honor it while they had a copy of the coupon ready on their desk clearly they honored it to some other customers. 3-I finally found and brought my coupon again with my prescription and checked back with them then the answer was now they can't honor it. Bad customer service! Clearly their customer service vision has to change because it's time wasting to expect the customer to be treated this way. read more

After being a loyal customer to the former location of this QFC for 15 years I was anticipating this new store and the upgrades it would bring. I like the staff that was at the old store and some have moved over to this one. Shout out to Stephanie, my fave checker and Kate, my fave pharmacist. I have shopped the new store during the grand opening and on three other occasions since. Sadly this store doesn't meet with my expectations for a few important reasons: #1 Quick access. The few parking spots that are on the entrance level have signs that don't allow parking for now. So now it's down to the confusing parking garage on the lower level. #2 Ambiance. The hard concrete, cavernous industrial ceilings, and vastness don't beckon me to slow down, browse, and shop. Combine this with... #3 Noise level. Granted, during the grand opening it's going to be loud, but I've been there in the slower periods like 7 am in the morning and just the roar of the installed refrigeration machines which are everywhere is terrible. Every single noise bounces off the hard surfaces. You don't even want to be in the same store, let alone the same aisle, when an angry toddler lets loose. This is due in part to the trendy industrial look they're going for. It won't sell with those who love to grocery shop. Perhaps they think the 'grab and go' items will rescue this location. What I observed on my visits - Several people lost and confused in the parking garage and commenting loudly on it. One patron stuck on the "cart" escalator, not meant for people. One patron slipped on the slick cement floor and cut open their elbow. From now on it's up the hill to Safeway or up 6th street to Met Market. I'm disappointed, but that's how I feel about my once favorite store. :-( read more

Don't get the negatives about this QFC or the fabulous new complex it's in. There is everything you need here and more that you didn't know you needed. Beautiful layout of merchandise, quick checkout, and my favorite food at the take-out Tutta Bella which you can eat in the QFC tavern along with a beer! QFC also offers an extensive array of take-out chicken salads, veggie salads, pasta salads, etc. that they make in the store (I asked one of the salad-making people when she was stocking the shelves). There are more stores opening in the complex in the future but in the meantime, you can always not cook and get a Shake Shack burger instead. Time to learn the underground parking (it's no big deal) because surface parking in general is rapidly becoming kaput. read more

For a new store I'm disappointed they don't take Apple Pay/nfc. The qfc app is 100mb and taking a long time to download. I left my wallet at home and it took me half an hour to get Kroger pay working. Lots of grab and go items and aisles are spacious. Strange that Kroger pay is available in the Qfc app but not the Kroger app. read more

I have been using QFC. fo a while. I woulds say I would give them 4 stars for the past 4 months. today I spent a lot of time making an order. ThenI am told that although I ordered 56 items, only 26 were available.a lot of my order is not available. I talked to two associates 1st one terminated me and second one was rude. I was afraid I was going to pay for 56 items (since the amount was $159.00. I only had 26 items in my cart. I just had to leave the site after spending all that time looking up items. Why cant they tell me items aren't available at the time, not after I have this big grocery list? I give them 2 stars today. read more

Very disappointing! For all the pretty packaging you can no longer buy a rotisserie chicken or fresh baked chicken. No hot case of any kind. Doesn't even carry Ballpark Frank's! Back half of the store kept at what feels like barely above freezing while front of store where produce is must be 5 to 10 degrees warmer. Basically its Kroger's Fred Meyer store but they'll make you a pizza, a giant cookie based on Metropolitan Market's and you'll have 3 times as many check-yourself-out stations! A reduced number of cash registers and worst of all NO EXPRESS LANES. For me a big disappointment read more
