The great customer service i was used to , completely gone. I took some items to the counter to ask about prices, two employees were so caught up in their own conversation I stood at the counter waiting uncomfortably for them to acknowledge me. One of the employees greeted me in Spanish, and when I asked about pricing in English , all friendliness vanished. (Mind you I am Hispanic) she then passed me off to another employee who was talking on the phone (another personal conversation, I understand Spanish) through an earbud while price checking some items. I paid for my things and decided to check out the pan dulce before I left and the closed door cases filed with pan had flies in them. So I left. I left feeling very unwelcome and I won't be back.

So much to see... spent a lot of time browsing- Hot foods were being prepared and the upstairs section wasn't opened yet.. I know being on vacation I shouldn't worry about ingredients- but I focus so much during the week it's automatic- Mainly watching sugars and oils so it really limited a lot of the instant coffees.. I did buy one that was fairly better than the others.. I had a shopping cart and you can even take it upstairs to the housewares and beauty products. Picked up some Korean skincare and bowls for the furr babies.. Waited for the gimbap but didn't see any arriving.. Went with a roll and of course Korean potato salad. The mall has lots of parking, but this Bellevue location gets pretty busy on the weekends so you might need to park further away. The US version looks and feels the same as the Canadian stores. Only thing is that stuff is more expensive compared to Canadian locations, although food being expensive is a general Greater Seattle area issue. I also feel like the Bellevue store has less discounts for food items compared to the smaller Lynnwood store, which makes sense given the Bellevue store is busier and is in a wealthier area. T&T is not going to be the cheapest Asian supermarket, but they are bright, clean, and a good selection of cooked food and bakery items of decent quality. Not perfect by any means, but T&T is the best Chinese supermarket chain in the Seattle area.

The footprint of this store is massive, which allows them to carry more SKUs than typical stores. Compared to the Bellevue (Crossroads) location, the Redmond store seems much more organized and has nice bright lighting. While Daiso is not known for high-quality items, it's the perfect place if you're looking for cute and cheap goods! My favorite part of the store is their aisle of stickers and stationary with the most adorable characters. I have to control myself otherwise I'd buy all the sticker sheets even though I don't even have a true need for them! The kid in me also has to browse their Sanrio merchandise each time. They have items for the kitchen, bathroom, office, storage and MUCH more. Their various dishes in the back are beautiful, but I'm not sure how durable they actually are. I've visited a few times so far and have been able to control myself enough not to fill a whole shopping basket. I merely just enjoy strolling down each and every aisle in case I spot something of interest. At checkout, the cashier reminded me that sales are final on all items... no returns or exchanges.
