Shalimar Grocery store is selling meat that had gone bad ( Smells very bad ). Vegetables are not fresh, and poor customer service.

They started having specials with their fishes and it was such a great deal we couldn't resist…read more Wednesday special was hand rolls for 99 cents each!!!! You can choose from a variety of fishes as well. They were pretty fresh and yummy. The guy working there was really nice. He had a lot of advice and suggestions. The place is literally a fish market so not a dine in place. Parking is ample. Otherwise, it's pretty quiet and calm. The stuff is sometimes pricey but when they do deals like this, it's worth it. Will probably be back for their sushi and sashimi special as well.

Unfortunately this was disappointing. It might be cuz I didn't have time to pull up the…read moremenu/reviews before hand and I asked for the lunch special and received the poke bowl. But the lunch omakase special is what I really wanted I think. But even so. The poke bowl was mixed. I have to unfortunately knock off the stars/taste because the rice I got was literally the worst rice I've ever had touching raw fish. The rice was like hard and stale. I even had a clump that looked like it was the burnt part from leaving it on the cooker for too long and it couldn't bite it. I know this place is for the fish, but there's a bare minimum expectation on rice quality. And the fish itself was good? Maybe cuz it's the poke and not the omakase (so mixed chopped pieces) but there were pieces that tasted super fresh and delicious and then there were pieces that had so much tendon I couldn't bite through it. The folks there were super nice and friendly especially since I had no idea what to order. Just wish I was more delighted by the meal, especially cuz it was like $18 poke bowl. I'll give it another try with hopes it's better next time.

I come here a lot cause I live near it so when I come here, I always get some meat tortillas beans…read morecandy as well and sometimes some drink drinks. They have a lot of Mexican stuff in here which I love and the service I always get is amazing and they usually sell corn in a cup as well too for five dollars, which is a good prize and I like it so much and I'm very happy. I can find a store that sells stuff that I love, and I will continue to shop over here

Sad to update my review with less than stellar remarks. I just visited this store, excited to grab…read moresome things, but unfortunately my experience will make me find another place to shop. The great customer service i was used to , completely gone. I took some items to the counter to ask about prices, two employees were so caught up in their own conversation I stood at the counter waiting uncomfortably for them to acknowledge me. One of the employees greeted me in Spanish, and when I asked about pricing in English , all friendliness vanished. (Mind you I am Hispanic) she then passed me off to another employee who was talking on the phone (another personal conversation, I understand Spanish) through an earbud while price checking some items. I paid for my things and decided to check out the pan dulce before I left and the closed door cases filed with pan had flies in them. So I left. I left feeling very unwelcome and I won't be back.

Due Cucina - Redmond…read more We really enjoyed everything we ordered here. Burrata Tricolore -- The salad was a standout. The balsamic dressing, pine nuts, and fresh greens were already delicious, and the burrata tied it all together with that perfect creamy finish. I could honestly eat this every day Eggplant Parmigiana -- Flavorful, satisfying, and refreshingly reasonable in portion size. Unlike some places that serve a mountain of bland eggplant, this one delivered on taste without overwhelming you. Carbonara -- Creamy, cheesy, and simply delicious. Pesto Pasta with Burrata -- Another favorite. The pesto had great flavor without that overly strong basil punch some places have. Adding burrata made it even better. Cheese Ravioli with Sage Butter -- Soft ravioli with a nicely filled center, paired with a sage butter sauce that was subtle rather than overpowering. Too much sage can ruin a dish for me, so this balance was perfect. A quick heads-up: this isn't a full-service restaurant. You order at the kiosk/front counter, grab your own utensils, napkins, and water, pick up your food when it's ready, and bus your own table afterward. We didn't mind the self-service setup at all--the food more than made up for it. We'll definitely be back

They have a busy lunch rush so if you don't want the crowd, come during off hours. It can be pretty hectic and loud. I came for the promotion of 50% off focaccia sandwich but also got a pasta and a couple of sides Focaccia sandwich with crispy chicken -- usually ~$14. It was a good sandwich, the flavor was good. I think the bread itself could be softer though. Also I think I should have gotten a different sandwich since the crispy chicken enhance the toughness of the sandwich, it needs soft things to balance it out. Bacon truffle pasta -- flavor was spot on, the pasta maybe a little too al dente for me but it wasn't too bad. Crispy risotto croquet -- my kids love this, cheesy and crispy. Canoli - I never had a canoli before so I thought this was good. Crispy layer and soft filling. Overall a good place for Italian food, price is affordable as well.
