The 2 guys saw me walk up to the door and must have seen the panic look on my face when I saw they were closed and I was going to have to go buy grocery store meat. They not only let me in after they already closed up but cut me a special cut from the back. 5 stars around for these guys. You have created a loyal Woodinville client. I know this place is for the fish, but there's a bare minimum expectation on rice quality. And the fish itself was good? Maybe cuz it's the poke and not the omakase (so mixed chopped pieces) but there were pieces that tasted super fresh and delicious and then there were pieces that had so much tendon I couldn't bite through it. I took some items to the counter to ask about prices, two employees were so caught up in their own conversation I stood at the counter waiting uncomfortably for them to acknowledge me. One of the employees greeted me in Spanish, and when I asked about pricing in English , all friendliness vanished. (Mind you I am Hispanic) she then passed me off to another employee who was talking on the phone (another personal conversation, I understand Spanish) through an earbud while price checking some items. I paid for my things and decided to check out the pan dulce before I left and the closed door cases filed with pan had flies in them. So I left. I left feeling very unwelcome and I won't be back.
