I'm so happy I don't have to go all the way to Bellevue anymore for some of my favorite childhood snacks! Conveniently located in the RTC and near the Red Robin, it's a great place to stop by after running errands. The staff are always sooo helpful whenever I'm having trouble finding stuff (their selection is pretty big) and are very kind. I've been having trouble finding Buldak noodles at QFC since they're always out of stock, but H Mart has a giant selection! Much cheaper as well. The produce section is another one of my favorites, and it's well organized and clean.

Wide selection and of just about everything Korean. Prices are a little too steep compared to some smaller Korean grocery stores in the north end. The store was pretty hard to navigate through due to how the floor plan is set up. I found myself constantly having to find a way around carts left unattended and people strategically placing themselves in the choking points. However, if you like to try new foods and appreciate a wide variety, this location got something for everyone.

This H mart is so much larger than their Bellevue store! You can actually maneuver a shopping cart around with no traffic jams. Seems like a lot more variety to choose from. I like veggie shopping at this store. It's not as good as their Lynnwood or Federal Way store but much better than Bellevue. Employees are courteous and helpful and several of the Korean employees speak English well so I was able to ask questions. I finally found the fermented black bean paste to make Korean jjajangmymeon. There were a few different brands to choose from. So happy. It was worth the drive r to Redmond to get it.

    - plenty of space, lots of options - I'm a fan of this grocery store because it's bigger than the Bellevue one, and it's never as crowded as the Bellevue store. I also like the Paris baguette here as well to look at cute pastries, whether I want to enjoy them or not. They recently started selling general household stuff on the 2nd floor, and you can find pots, blankets, skincare products, or stationary there. They just started, so there was still plenty of space. It's also a good spot to buy cute stuff as well since they have a lot of keychains and plushies.

Finally made my way to the newly opened H Mart in Redmond. It is located directly across from the 24 hour fitness, and also has a bakery attached. The space is huge, with tons of items. In comparison to the Bellevue location, this is like the DIsneyland of H Marts. I would say it rivals the location in Lynwood but, I also noticed that this location has a lot more Chinese/Japanese items which makes sense to align to the demographic they would find in Redmond. There is a dedicated room for ramen, their hot foods bar was clean and well stocked with a ton of options, they have a Korean iced coffee fridge section with the pouched iced coffee and viral cups of ice. They have a Tou Les Jour bakery attached which has it's own dining/sit down area (so cute and perfect to grab a coffee and pastry while catching up with a friend) They also had the most impressive alcohol selection I've seen at an H Mart, all locked away at the front of the store in front of the registers. The cashiers were all super friendly and they seemed happy to be there which is always a nice added touch to the experience. If you're in the East Side, this is an answer to your prayers when it comes to Korean groceries, no more having to make the 30 miles trek to Lynwood or settle for the small Bellevue location!

The much anticipated H Mart in Redmond is finally open! Woohoo!! Some logistics first: - This is the old Bed, Bath, and Beyond location, very near the central Redmond Town Center. - Parking is plentiful. Most shoppers know of the large Lynnwood location and the claustrophobic Bellevue location. Size wise, this one is in between. They have a very, very small non-food area but added a dedicated liquor area. There is a roomy deli area. But it was understandably closed or completely sold out when we arrived at 8pm. The usual suspects are well represented - a very large seafood area (much, much better than Bellevue), dry goods of all kinds, produce is abundant, even tofu and seaweed are 'extra'. Teas and drinks of all types are well stocked. Snacks and sweets are ready to tempt you. I was disappointed not to find any cute socks to buy. Even the tiny downtown store has the socks. Otherwise, I am satisfied. We went to a normal checkout line. The checker, a young man, was good. But another lady who might be a bagger tried to ignore my request to wipe the surface that had a gooey residue, upon which the checker was pushing my purchases. I do not want to bring home items smeared with goo. She tore a dry scrap of paper towel, gave it a "toddler" wipe, then told me it won't be cleaned. I stopped the checker for a second time. This time, the checker went to get a cleaning spray to properly wipe the surface before continuing. Thank you, young man! Hey lady, that's what customer service is. Lastly, being the opening weekend, they are giving away free prices when you buy $50+, $100+, etc. The free prices vary. I bought just over $50 and received free chopsticks.

Finest selection of fresh produce we have found in Seattle. Well-organized and the choices!!! My!! The stocking staff are extremely helpful. I like you can park on either side with easy access. Prices are always excellent. The selection of tofu (including pudding!) is delightful and the meat department is fresh and clean.

H Mart, inside of Redmond is exactly what the area needed. I visited on the opening day, and for a place that just opened. I thought it was incredibly well stocked, really organized, and the produce was looking extremely fresh. I will be visiting again, I will be purchasing some hard to find items, and I will continue to support H Mart in this area. I imagine that as they stay open, everything will continue to get smoother. I noticed that there was quite a bit of diversity amongst the employees there, and it seemed like a few different languages being spoken. Overall well organized though. I hope the bakery and hot foods area opens soon. When I visited on opening day, I didn't appear to be fully running yet.

So amazing to have one in Redmond! While they are still trying to organize things and make it easier to find what we need, I love the collection of vegetarian / vegan and plant-based frozen appetizers they have. Would be great if they could organize them in a separate area since it's really hard to dig through the large array of meat and seafood items. Hands down the best place for exotic produce as well.

The parking design is epic. They also have construction going on, building train transfer station, prime location. The bakery is awesome professional cake designs, and the curry croquettes delicious. Also the gimbimbap sushi great

Ask the Community - H Mart

Does this location have a food court?

No it does not. It is in the old Bed Bath & Beyond building. It only has a small in-house deli with a few foods. No food court with multiple vendors like the Lynwood location or like the Seattle Uwajimaya.

Is this location only open on the weekends? Store hours are listed as closed Monday-Thursday.

I suspect the reduced hours apply temporarily. The business has claimed this page, so they have better control over the business info, including hours. They opened last weekend. As others reported, it was chaotic to some degree. I suspect they are… Read more

Costing under $60, the large cake was beautifully made and decorated. Like other Asian bakeries (e.g. Paris Baguette, Tous Les Jours, 85 C), the cake was chiffon with whipped cream and was quite good. But what made it stand out was how mango and strawberries were incorporated into the design AND how it tasted. Mangoes were thinly sliced and used like fondant to COVER the entire top of the cake. Then chopped mangos and whole strawberries were added on top to decorate it even more. Fondant is great to make the cake look good, but I don't like it as an edible product (it's like eating pure sugar for me). Ripe mango, on the other hand, I could eat all day...and this version was ripe without being overly so. The cake came well packaged in a travel container, and included a cake cutter, signage, and a candle. The four of us could barely make a large dent in it (maybe a 1/3), even though it didn't use buttermilk frosting, but used really good whipped cream instead. I think it's twice the size of a Tous Les Jour large (which is usually what our family gets for birthdays), and wasn't that much more.

When I asked an employee whether any vegetable bao were still available, she told me--clearly and confidently--that there were. I specifically questioned this, pointing to the "sold out" sign, yet she insisted that they were not sold out and proceeded to package four for me. When she handed me the box, I asked again--explicitly--whether these were vegetarian. For a third time, she assured me that they were. After a two-hour drive home, I opened the box to find that I had been given pork bao. This was not a minor oversight. I asked multiple times and received repeated, unequivocal assurances. At that point, this ceases to be a simple mistake and reflects either a complete disregard for accuracy or a willingness to mislead a customer to move product. Neither is acceptable. Customers rely on staff to provide correct information, especially when dietary preferences or restrictions are involved. The failure here was not just operational--it was a failure of basic honesty and accountability. This experience left me feeling violated, disrespected, and taken advantage of. It is extremely disappointing that such conduct can occur in a business that presents itself as reputable. One interaction like this is enough to severely damage trust in the store as a whole.

My favorite part of the store is their aisle of stickers and stationary with the most adorable characters. I have to control myself otherwise I'd buy all the sticker sheets even though I don't even have a true need for them! The kid in me also has to browse their Sanrio merchandise each time. They have items for the kitchen, bathroom, office, storage and MUCH more. Their various dishes in the back are beautiful, but I'm not sure how durable they actually are. I've visited a few times so far and have been able to control myself enough not to fill a whole shopping basket. I merely just enjoy strolling down each and every aisle in case I spot something of interest. At checkout, the cashier reminded me that sales are final on all items... no returns or exchanges. Prices have definitely increased in the past year (as they have everywhere), but they still have a solid selection of affordable snacks and convenience items that I don't see sold a lot of other places.
