Who knew you'd find a solid bulgogi burrito in this little convenience store? The space was clean, and service was straightforward and no-frills. The burrito was bursting with sweet beef bulgogi and melted cheddar cheese. I would have liked a little more cheese, but the whole wrap was super satisfying.

It seems they are remodeling nicely. Ownership must have changed. Young lady at the counter was very kind. My kids loved their breakfast and h. Quick inexpensive stop for warm food, espresso, and drinks.

Their Angus burger was one of the best I've had. My sister and mother also really enjoyed their food.

I've had the Angus Burger with Bacon and the Bulgogi Burrito many times in the last month and each time the food was spot on.

They should be changing the trays in the hot bar every few hours to maintain the fresh look and they should get rid of the old burned food. They also serve the same soup everyday. It's never fresh after 2 pm. They also used to have some nice potato soup and they stopped serving it. It's the sane few soups everyday. I just don't think the people that work in that department are happy to be there. I got screamed at one day when I asked when a fresh chicken will be out and he told that there are still chicken out there with anger when there was only two pieces of dry chicken setting there. Terrible way to talk to customers. I am hoping they can do something about the hot food bar and soup selections soon.

Have been stopping by this location more recently on the way home from work to pick up a few things. While I have only walked to the store, they do have free parking in the building garage. The store is on the smaller side compared to other Eastside PCC locations. Store interior feels a bit sterile and usually quiet when I shop here. Not a bad thing if you like shopping in a less crowded store. And I will say the store interior is an improvement from the old store which looked dated. It is not my favorite PCC to shop at, but I will continue to frequent it when I am nearby and looking to pick up some groceries.

SAFEWAY @ KIRKLAND…read more This used to be one of my favorite Safeway locations in Washington! It's spacious, has great produce, and items. It has however changed over the time, the staff don't seem friendly, I've walked in a couple times and just been fully glared at by staff in the front. Bathrooms are dirty and it's pretty sticky floors. There is also workers smoking on the side of Safeway outside right by the Handicap, no issue with smoking, but they are ALWAYS lingering around where customers are walking to the car. There is also homeless people always out front where you enter 124th street. Other than that, the selection is great, there is a Starbucks in the store as well, and the produce is fresh. I really enjoy the bakery items, they are delicious and the workers are always kind there!

And the location is right on a busy stretch of NE 85th Street that is close to I-405. The customer service was great. I had mistakenly picked up the wrong box of berries that were not on sale and told the self-checkout clerk that I would run back to the produce area to grab the right ones. When I came back, the clerk offered to ring my groceries up herself. I really appreciate how she went above and beyond. Little gestures like this help to rebuild customer loyalty.

You can choose from a variety of fishes as well. They were pretty fresh and yummy. The guy working there was really nice. He had a lot of advice and suggestions. But the lunch omakase special is what I really wanted I think. But even so. The poke bowl was mixed. I have to unfortunately knock off the stars/taste because the rice I got was literally the worst rice I've ever had touching raw fish. The rice was like hard and stale. I even had a clump that looked like it was the burnt part from leaving it on the cooker for too long and it couldn't bite it. I know this place is for the fish, but there's a bare minimum expectation on rice quality. And the fish itself was good? Maybe cuz it's the poke and not the omakase (so mixed chopped pieces) but there were pieces that tasted super fresh and delicious and then there were pieces that had so much tendon I couldn't bite through it. The folks there were super nice and friendly especially since I had no idea what to order. Just wish I was more delighted by the meal, especially cuz it was like $18 poke bowl. I'll give it another try with hopes it's better next time.

They have uniquely sourced items that are from Poland, Ukraine, and neighboring countries, as well as familiar items like house made baklava. When I shop there, I mostly concentrate on their dry goods such as sauces in jars, sweets, and easy to cook foods like frozen perogies (dumplings). Amongst the sweets, the Polish Wawel Mieszanka Krakowska chocolate covered jelly candy is a welcome treat. I enjoy wafer treats, so the Roshen wafers from Ukranine is my choice. I haven't had much luck with their produce; I skip them. (FYI: The business uses the Yelp photos to post the latest produce that has arrived, which is perfectly legitimate. But because they don't delete the previous photos, the Yelp photos suggest they may have a bigger produce section than they actually have at a given time. I was confused the first time I stepped in.) The shop is located in a strip mall with plentiful parking. The space is older, which I honestly don't care as long as it is clean. I don't require much service since I only need to pay and go. For me, this store doesn't serve the deli or the produce function in its name. But I do enjoy exploring their different items and choosing something new-to-me to try. That is good enough.

WHOLE FOODS MARKET @ KIRKLAND…read more I've came here a couple times before since it's in Totem Lake's plaza, and I am always at the other shops and stores. I came here today just to browse and look around. Parking was pretty difficult to get, as it gets pretty busy on the weekends. Fresh produce was amazing, they had all sorts of fruits, veggies, and everything looked so fresh. Until it got down to the actual items like chips and normal snacks. Everything was like gone, and I mean they are going in a whole production decrease. It was in like every isle, from ice cream, to chips, to cereal. Quite empty. They also had sample stands in two areas of the whole foods, completely empty and trash inside of where samples would be in. Service was ok. The people in front of us had a QR code for their Whole Foods app, and it took two workers and a manager to try to fix it, didn't work so they completely opened a new lane for the people behind them. Ambiance was nice, it was most of it pretty organized and well put together. I wouldn't come back to this location, since it seems all their production is just gone. I'll definitely stop by to browse if i am around the area again.
