Rice Paddy is a cozy, family run atmosphere. They get busy because of the fresh ingredients and made from scratch. This place is cute, clean, and welcoming. I love that they have plenty of parking. We had to wait to be seen to order, then the ordering process was a little painful. My friend ordered and then he looked at me, I guess it is my turn so I ordered. He walked away. Ok. It took a long time 40 mins before we got our food. But the chicken wings were the best and then the chicken chow fun was very good too. The food was very delicious and flavorful. It took a while to get his attention to pay the bill so we can leave. Not the best service, I don't know if it is because the limited people working or not.

The food is amazing. The service is good they are so nice. You can tell that the chef really puts love into his craft and that makes the food taste phenomenal. I got the #2 pho and the brisket was sooo delicious and the broth is so tasty and flavorful. Their vietnamese coffee is good too. Me and hubby will definitely be back.

Review is specifically to post a pic of the chicken wings: I'd venture to say these are the best wings in AZ. Vietnamese street food style.

Bun salad

Nice place in a converted historic house that has a large Vietnamese menu. Started with three vegetarian rolls crispy and delicious. Got a chicken banh mi sandwich made spicy with tempura batter and garlic fries, very tasty. The bun salad is great, don't ask about the name just try it. Seems to be family owned and operated and a great place to try!

Fan on the floor kitchen and behind the curtain the bathroom

When I came in I was the only patron. I asked to use the bathroom. They only have 1 and I had to go through the kitchen. I ordered food to go: the Shaken Beef with Fried Rice and Spring Rolls. I was served the food on regular plate and not in the to go box. I started eating because it smelled so good. Then I had to flag down the server to get my Spring Rolls and to go box. I understand why they have so many to go orders. They sat me at a table in the sun. There is no air conditioning only fans so it was too hot for me.

Delicious! Shrimp and pork spring roll was super bomb and fresh. The chicken wings are amazing! They're so crispy and they give you a lot of them for the $. The beef vermicelli bowl was super tasty, just wish it had more veggies. I ordered delivery and it was really quick! Would definitely order from them again.

I ordered takeout and was very impressed with the food sized portions. I also thought it still tasted great even eaten at home. Small mom and pop restaurant that serves up fresh meals at a decent price and portion! Highly recommend the rice vermicelli with pork and egg roll and the beef rice noodle! Service was friendly but took a bit to have order be complete but you can rush flavor and perfection.

Only putting the 3 stars because of the vermicelli beef salad. That was really good! The pho was standard . Nothing over the top great but good. The food took forever to get!!!! It didn't makes sense. There was not a lot of people there and what we ordered doesn't take a long time to make. Service was terrible but it's to be expected as some places but this was really bad. But that salad made it worth it.

Cute place, a small restaurant with good indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is simple but great. Tried their stir fry rice noodles with chicken- good quantity and delicious, the meat was well cooked. The pork and egg roll noodles were fantastic. Thai tea was delicious as well.

I walked in with my spouse around 7 p.m. or so, and we kind of stood around like idiots, not sure if we should seat ourselves or not. So, we eventually just sat down at a table. It was a little awkward. Usually, I would have bounced, but something about eating at a place called "Rice Paddy" had me wanting to try the food, even if the service wasn't great. I'll be completely honest - the service needs improvement here, but the food was very authentic and had great taste. I got the beef fried rice, spring rolls, and pho. The owner came to our table and gave us some background on the food and was very personable. I think the owner just needs some better helpers, or maybe they're just not fully accustomed to United States dining yet. So, regardless of the service and wait, I will say the food was enough for me to eat there again and recommend to friends.

They are not really vegetarian friendly because they fry their tofu in the same fryer as meat.

The service was also wonderful. The staff greeted me immediately when I walked in and were incredibly kind and welcoming. We ordered vermicelli noodles aka bun. One of the orders was bun with grilled chicken and the other was bun with pork and an egg roll. Service is super quick. The dishes were good. One slight issue is the protein on both dishes were too big to bite into with no knife. It was not a big deal but a bit hard to eat. Other than that, the flavors were good and even better with hoisin and sriracha sauce. This is a family run business. The place is clean and orderly. Their parking lot was full by the time we left. .

10/10, nope 20/10! WOW!…read more I'm so absolutely thrilled by our family dinner at Rice Paper tonight I haven't stopped talking about it with family and friends! The food, flavor, service, cleanliness, and vibes were absolutely perfect!! Came on a Thursday evening, ordered plain pho and french fries for our 5&3YO both ate it up! While we looked at the menu, I couldn't decide what alcohol I wanted, spirit, beer, sake, wine, etc.. finally order sake bomb with Asahi and the bartender came over and let me sample one of the sours - just cause! I'm awesome! Thank you! Wish I had room to order! For dinner we did: - Filet Spring Roll - Chuck Norris Spring Roll - grandma Trans firecracker wings - Crispy Rice on sizzling plate with Filet My words cannot describe how amazingly delicious it all was. The spring rolls were equally filling, flavorful, refreshing, and savory! Flavor explosion! The firecracker wings drenched in the spicy sauce was so good, we kept dipping some of our kids fries in the sauce! Lastly the Crispy Rice dish with filet, WOW! A bite of that, with some broth on the side. I couldn't easily swear it's one of the most savory dishes I've had in AZ. What a hidden gem! On top of this, as a parent, it's always stressful eating outside of your own home with your kiddos, but the staff/owners were so accommodating, I felt comfortable and grateful! They were so nice and my 3Yo is wild, but they didn't make us feel bad and they continued to smile and even give him a high five as we left. The location is clean and vibey, and we were all comfortable the whole time. So glad this fam came FOB in 1981 and hope they continue to rock it because they deserve it! What a great location and so glad we went. Can't wait to go back.

The place is very clean inside, nicely decorated, and had background music playing (I hate places that are dead silent). A nice spot for me and my girlfriend to enjoy our lunch and talk over a bowl of pho. I was intrigued by the veggie pho because they used baby corn, shiitake mushrooms, tofu, and asparagus. I don't really like vegetable broth so I asked if the broth could be their beef broth which they said was ok. My girlfriend had the chicken pho like she usually does and we shared a spring roll. I have to say that I was blown away with how delicious my pho was. It had such a nice clean beef flavor that you love when enjoying pho. The vegetables worked incredibly, but I' sure any of their beef options are stellar (I just wanted veggies). No doubt one of the more memorable broths that's I've had in a long time! My girlfriend's pho was also super flavorful and had a nice aroma as well. She ended up eating all the broth and had a bunch of leftover noodles and chicken. I would really recommend not serving the chicken diced in cubes because you can't get those nice chopsticks full of noodles and chicken. The roll we ordered was good, but probably not something I'd get again. They use filet mignon for it, but I think I would prefer to have them use a less expensive cut and give me 2X the meat. Finally our server Enrique was cool and very attentive and let us know about their Sunday pho special which was great. This place might not be as traditional as the other places where you see the entire family working and have the beat up menus, but it's they definitely make pho worth checking out for yourself.

And the moo ping was the softest but not chewiest I've ever had. Good portions. For the entree, we tried the Chicken Pad Thai and the Panang Curry with braised beef. The star of the show was def the Panang Curry. It's small for an entree portion. It comes with rice. So we had to order another. But the flavors are there. We saved room for dessert bc it was a Mango Sticky Rice. Everything was good. But it made us miss home.

You can tell that they are actively growing as a restaurant and I can't help but want to cheer them on! Today, I had their banh mi pho with a side of Chinese donuts to dip into the pho broth. My constructive feedback is if they can dial in their pho broth (which I already enjoy) to have more in-depth bone broth/spice flavor and less reliance on maybe the salty aspect.
